WIP Wednesday 4/17/24 | Foxhole Bake AU

He shoves Neil slightly and Neil has the audacity to laugh. Andrew thinks he'll hate Neil Josten for the rest of his life and he'll officially and legally hate him for the rest of his life next Fall.

Andrew lights his cigarette and leans against a tree.

"I wonder if we can bring the leftovers home?" Neil wonders as he holds his own cigarette out for Andrew to light. Andrew can feel his own eyes dilate at the thought as he lights Neil's cigarette for him.

"Is he still saying he wants to get ordained so he doesn't have to pick a side to stand on?" Neil asks laughing.

"He's always been holier than thou, it'll only make him worse." Andrew rolls his eyes as he eats a different tart.

"I don't know if that's possible." Neil bumps his shoulder and Andrew rolls his eyes before offering Neil another key lime tart. Neil accepted it.

"I wasn't even planning on asking him to be my Best Man. I'm asking Matt." Neil says.

"I'm asking Aaron." Andrew nods.

"I was going and getting your ring." Andrew answers back, "You're the one who cut himself doing the dishes which is why I was distracted." he says shouldering Neil so they were further away from the cameras that were very likely coming to catch the bakers looking nervously at the tent while Noel Fielding likely said something over the footage.

They slid out the back after slipping some cash to one of the production staff.

"Looking at you eating that cake after I thought you had turned down my proposal made me feel like it'd be ok." Neil says.

"You wouldn't waste my cake." Neil says still chewing like an animal.

"Chew your food and swallow." Andrew pushes at Neil's face in disgust at the sight of the half chewed food. He sees a glint in Neil's eyes, "Don't you dare make the joke." he warns.

Neil holds his hands up in surrender not making the easy swallow joke that Andrew could see brewing in his icy eyes.

"I'd probably shove a slice in Kevin's face when he complains about it." Neil says.
