Wow...the thought that what you say-write-can reach and touch so many people is amazing. It is humbling and I don't take that for granted. Yes...my posts are mostly about music but there is more to what you read here. For those who know...for the rest, you will find out. This post is not the first tine I am telling you about my DJ tribute to Erykah Badu. I have been wanting to do this tribute for years...but our Sister has been in and out of controversy for the sake of art, she has always maintained. Many of us have weighed in on her various exploits...at the end of the day, this tribute is about the greatness of her songs in a soulful house mix. This mix SHOULD appeal to everyone who likes good music. It will be the first time I am taking all of my favorite EB songs and redoing them for #housemusic #deephouse #underground #club #DJ #remix for a new generation of music lovers.
