Her tone was fiery, but she calmed after a moment - tracing small circles with her thumb on Loki's wrist in an effort to soothe them. "I know if it were me, I'd have it no other way.." She'd look thoughtful for a moment, her grin reappearing. "On second thought, perhaps I'd have it so they were slowly roasted on a spit - that sounds more on brand for me."

Admittedly Freya broke out of her moment of sadistic glee at the mention of Loki having actual horns. "You do?" She'd question, visibly interested before looking the tiniest bit smug. "Are mine bigger? Mine are definitely bigger, aren't they?" She'd tease with a little giggle.

At the redirection to lunch Freya would simply chuckle and wheel herself to be closer to the counter, summoning a simple kitchen knife she could use. "Pass me some of the fruit, dear? I can have it cut up for us, if you'd like." And maybe sneak some of it for a taste - Peaches were her favorite, after all.

"Does your.. Black Order still exist..?" Freya found herself needing to pause in order to recall the name of Thanos' Cult given how long ago it had ceased to exist in her own Timeline. "I didn't personally play a hand in their demise, but I did see how it unfolded.." Believe it or not she was actually trying to be reassuring. "So if you need assistance in dealing with them, I may be able to help.."

When asked if a distraction could aid her; the redhead would look a touch uncertain, glancing over at the fire then back up at Loki. "This may sound odd.. but.. may I feel your pulse? Normally I would use my own, but.." She'd gesture towards her hands that were still subtly shaking. If Loki would allow her; she'd gently take their hand with his palm facing upwards so she could feel the subtle rhythm in their wrist, tracking the beats by quietly tapping on the arm of her wheelchair with her free hand.

"Y'know; it's always surprised me how similar we are - organically speaking, of course.." She'd comment, slowly starting to sound a bit more calm and less tense in her mannerisms.
