But behind the messaging, many of these products follow the same formula: processed sugar, emulsifiers, synthetic nutrients, and scalable ingredients designed for profit margins, not for your health.
Take maltodextrin, a common thickener that spikes blood sugar faster than table sugar. Or inulin, often labeled as “natural fiber,” but widely known to cause bloating. Erythritol, a popular sugar alcohol in low-calorie products, has recently raised concerns for its potential link to cardiovascular risks.
