Todays the day of filming Flaujae's podcast "the best of both worlds" hosted in Atlanta currently because of overtime Queen of the Court. Lilah is also with Paige but the time of filming the podcast, is a few minutes after her nap time starts and she can never skip naps or she'll be a very grumpy sassy 1 year old. So she's gonna sleep in the room next door and Paige & Flaujae are gonna leave the filming room door cracked so Paige can hear if she wakes up or anything.

"Alright guys now moving on, today's special guest is.....Paige Bueckers!" Flaujae introduces "hey everyone! Thank you for having me." Paige replies

"So I have some questions for you" flaujae starts, making Paige nod and say go ahead.

"What is your favorite basketball highlight of yours?"

"Ooo uhh, I honestly don't know. Uhh her love for adventure maybe? She loves going to new places, seeing new people, seeing animals she's never seen before. She loves even going on like "road-trips" to the store or gas station." Paige answered "Shes been with you for your whole "world tour" so far, right?" Flau questions "yeah.“

"What was your favorite thing to do with her on your world tour? And what was her favorite thing to do, if you know?"

"My favorite was umm oh our LA trip, we did a lot there. We went to Disneyland, Universal, a few museums, few beach trips, an aquarium vist, plus some more. Lilah's favorite was probably-" Paige stops talking as she hears Lilah walking through the hallway and calling out for her

"Mama" Lilah says, obviously looking for Paige. P takes a quick glance at Flaujae asking if she can bring Lilah in here, making Flaujae do a quick nod giving Paige her approval. "In here baby" P calls out, hearing Lilah start walking towards the filming room.

When she enters and sees Paige, she starts waddling towards P a little faster "good morning babe, how was your nap?" Paige asks, going on deaf ears as Lilah just walks closer to Paige and puts her hands on P’s thighs, a sign that she wants picked up. So Paige leans down and picks her up putting her on her thigh and Lilah immediately cuddles closer to Paige.

"I 100% have baby fever now. She's so cute omg" Flaujae says making Paige let out a chuckle "thank you" Paige says "well she's in here now so maybe she can answer your question. Lil what was your favorite thing we did so far this summer?"

She just cuddles into Paige more "cmon Lilah, I know you have favorites" P tries to convince her "ball and Disney" Lilah mumbles "she said ball and Disney, which translates to all star and Disneyland"P chuckles while rubbing Lilahs back, either to help her go back to sleep or to wake her up. "I was gonna ask her favorite part of all star but looking at her, I don't think she wants to answer" Flaujae softly says, seeing that Lilah is trying not to fall asleep in Paige's arms right now  "she never really wants to talk after waking up, she just wants cuddles and silence to decide if she's awake for the day or not - but she said she loved meeting all the new people and seeing people she already knew again - especially loved seeing Diana, Sue, Breanna, Megan, Angel and Caitlyn, when I asked her." Flaujae nods and says  "so we can count on her to go to UConn" "I mean maybe? But I'm not gonna force her to follow my footsteps." Paige shrugs making Flau nod again "alright I'll move the subject away from your daughter, I got carried away. That's my bad"

Paige laughs a little, "Your good. I love talking about her any chance I get." Flaujae smiles at that and says "you seem like an amazing mom"

"Thank you. I try my best for her." Flaujae nods and then looks at her cards and says "alright we're gonna play a game. I'm gonna name a few of your teammates past and present, and I want you to give me one word that describes them." Paige nods still rubbing Lilahs back, and Lilahs just playing with Paige's chain now, deciding she wasn’t tired anymore.

suddenly everything started to slow down and the music started to die. and still, he was there staring at the girl, the girl who was supposed to be his for the night – and, at least he thought, for a really long time. his surroundings only seemed to get back to normal when he felt a tap on his shoulder, he looked to his side and saw someone smiling at him.

“yea, lets dance”, he didnt even finish his sentence and you were already dragging him back to the living room and starting to dance to the song that was playing. at first, vernon was a little bit shy of dancing in front of everyone, but his shyness was slowly dying as he saw how carefree you were while dancing like there was no tomorrow, like no one was around you two. soon enough, the two of you were having the time of your lives, dancing like it could save you from a heartbreak or even save your lives and it really felt like it could save you from any worries or danger.

your movements started to slow down as both of you started to get a little tired from dancing. you were smiling as you looked at vernon, his smile making you smile even wider. it felt like there was only you and him in that moment, your heart was beating fast and you couldnt tell if it was because of all the dancing or if it was because of him standing right in front of you.

the euphoria you were feeling was too intense. you kept looking at vernon, it was clear that he was getting tired, but he continued dancing anyway, enjoying his time and forgetting about his ex date’s existence. once he finally made eye contact with you, you didnt think twice – actually, you didnt even think – and leaned forward, your lips meeting his.

• Sometimes, depending on his mood, he’ll ban you from speaking to anyone other than them (even Max). Other times he’ll outright stop you from going to the boardwalk with them. He’d stay with you in the cave whilst the other three go out to hunt.

• It worked when you were younger and more obedient, however during your teen years you grew to be a lot more rebellious.

• Marko absolutely HATES the thought of you growing up. He doesn’t know what kind of a person you’ll be in the future, and that scares him.

• That and the fact that he knows you’ll inevitably want to start dating.

• He’s kind of in denial about the whole growing up thing.

• Unfortunately when you do become a teenager he literally can’t cope. He refuses to believe you are able to take care of yourself and will baby you.

• On multiple occasions you have lashed out at him for the way he treats you, sick of how he refuses to accept the fact that you have a functional brain and can think for yourself.

• Unfortunately Marko has a particularly short temper. He has, on multiple occasions, accidentally shoved you into a cabinet in the heat of an argument, and left you with dark, angry bruises.

• And then comes the guilt tripping. Sometimes you’d wonder if he secretly likes it when you get hurt because of how happy he always looks when he gets to take care of you.

• You’re father’s mood can switch up in a matter of seconds. Sometimes it feels like you’re walking on eggshells around him, afraid that the slightest mistake will set him off.

• Usually Dwayne or Paul are around to tell him to chill out, but when you’re alone you just have to play along with his delusions of you still being his little girl to avoid conflict.

• It’s hard though, especially when he suddenly brings up a new rule to ‘keep you safe’. It’s practically impossible to keep Marko happy, and with every new rule, you know it’s only a matter of time until you break it (intentionally or not).

• He would never admit it, even to himself, but part of him secretly enjoys it when you break the rules. He likes hearing your heart pounding loudly from your chest, betraying the unbothered scowl on your face.

• It reminds him that no matter how grown up you look on the outside, you’ll always just be that timid little girl they found by the carousel. Helpless and in need of her fathers.

Paul

• He doesn’t mean to be, but Paul is definitely the dad that lets you get away with anything.

• Poor guy doesn’t really know how to act around kids, so he ends up either being a bit awkward around you or just treating you like a mini adult.

• As a result, you don’t really fear him as much as you do the others, but you also don’t see him as reliable as they are.

• You know Dwayne will always be there for you. Paul though? Half the time he’s too high to even tell you what day of the week it is.

• He feels guilty about it. Really guilty. He loves you just as much as the others do, but he just doesn’t know how to show it, so he lets you get away with things.

• Oh- you want a chocolate bar for breakfast? Sure, so long as you don’t tell Dwayne.

• You wanna try his cigarette? Ok, but make sure David doesn’t find out.

• At first it’s great. You love getting to hang out with Paul because of the little secrets you share. He gets high and you get to do what you want.

• It isn’t until you start to grow up, and he begins to enjoy your company more that his behaviour starts changing.

• Out of everyone, Paul (ironically) knows the most of your secrets.

• He’s just so much easier to talk to than the others- and whilst he doesn’t always give you particularly good advice on how to deal with certain situations, you can appreciate him for listening.

• Your trust in him backfires though, as he realises he can use your secrets against you.

• He literally blackmails you into spending more time with him. You don’t wanna hang out? That’s fine- but be prepared to have a stern telling off from David after Paul found a bag of weed under your bed.

• You picked up most of your bad habits from your father. Getting black out drunk and stealing cigarettes with your small group of friends, for example.

• Compared to the others, he isn’t very controlling in terms of rules. He knows that telling you what to do directly will only make you rebel, so instead he takes a slightly different approach.

• He drugs you.

• It took years for you to finally realise why you would sometimes sleep for such long amounts of time, despite not feeling tired beforehand.

• Eventually you connected the dots, and came to the sickening realisation that he would put crushed sleeping pills in your food every time you mentioned wanting to go out with your friends.

• After confronting your fathers about it, you refused to eat any food they had prepared for you. This lasted a while, until you ran out of money and were no longer able to afford cheap takeaways.

• It becomes a lot harder for Paul to drug you after that, however every now and again he manages to slip you a sedative.

• You absolutely hate it.

• You hate feeling completely helpless. Mind dull and emotions muffled by the effects of the drug. Even your body feels heavy, and you find that you only have enough energy to lay in Paul’s embrace, waiting to fall asleep.

David

• Ok let’s be real David is definitely the most distant father out everyone.

• After all, he has a reputation to uphold (and he’s scared of completely fucking up as a dad).

• He prefers spending time with you inside the cave rather than going out to the boardwalk.

• He uses excuses similar to Dwayne- telling you how dangerous it is, but unlike Dwayne he doesn’t actually believe what he’s telling you.

• David knows that it’s very unlikely that anything will happen to you. You’re hardly ever by yourself, so the chances of someone actually managing to hurt you are slim- especially with four overprotective vampire fathers lurking nearby.

• The real reason is that it makes him feel less in control. He can’t decide who you’re friends with, or who talks to you when you do occasionally manage to sneak away from them.

• Your biological family is gone. But who’s to say there isn’t someone out there looking for you still? David can’t help the everlasting paranoia from seeping into his every thought.

• So for peace of mind, he sets rules and curfews. Anything that will ease his worries.

• Practically every minute of your life is dictated by David. He thrives off of controlling you.

• Each and every rule and punishment goes through him first. He’s essentially the backbone of the pack.

• You resent him for it. You hate the way he encourages the others, and how he speaks down at you so condescendingly.

• Your relationship wasn’t always so strained though.

• As a kid you completely idolised David. His hair, his bike, his music. You were like his shadow. Constantly trailing behind him, grasping onto his signature trench coat.

• He loved every minute of it. Your father would spoil you. He’d steal little gifts at every opportunity, and buy you posters and t shirts of all the bands he had gotten you into.

• Unfortunately, as you got older you made friends outside the pack. You developed new interests, and David felt threatened.

• After all, you’re supposed to their little girl. You were supposed to grow up and stay with your fathers- your pack. Not branch out and meet new people.

• So in response, David killed one of your friends.

• One of the boys in your group who he thought you were becoming dangerously close to.

• Of course, you didn’t know David was the reason he had gone missing, so when you broke down in tears, feeling terrified for your friend, David was there to hold you.

• The way he gently rubbed your back and soothingly whispered into your ear almost made you forget about the disappearance of one of your closest friends.

• That brief moment of bliss bringing you back to your childhood as you sought comfort in your father’s tender embrace.

• David could only pray that you would remain ignorant to the truth about your dearly departed friend.

An: Platnium. she has a luxray on her team btw. That’s very important!! She likes the legendaries and sees shaymin as Kohane! She likes the cities and the pokemon that came with the gen. Since shaymin is an event exclusive, she caught a furret and named it after Kohane :D she also adores Cynthia.

Akito: Legends Arceus.. he likes the “difficulty” (he lost to Volo 100+ times btw) I don’t think I have to explain anything else. He never trusted volo anyways smh.

Toya: Sapphire/Alpha Sapphire (both could work). He likes the lore around it and the map :3.. kyogre is his favorite and he likes to compare groudon to Akito :3 (just ignore the rivalry the two legendaries have). It makes sense to him and him only. He probably also uses spectile too.

Wonderlands x Showtime:

Tsukasa: I think he’d enjoy Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee. He would love to communicate with his starter and dressing up with them! He cried when he walked into viridian forest and saw all of the bug type pokemon

Emu: SUN AND MOON!!! SHE LOVES ALOLA!! the trials, the islands, the pokemon, the totems, EVERYTHING!! It’s so beautiful and fun to her :3 she definitely chose popplio, has an alolan raichu, and a slurpuff!! trust me!!! please!! She ran around looking for all the crystals but asked Rui for help (He looked up the answers online before giving it to her).

Rui: AND IF I SAID MYSTERY DUNGEON.. WHAT WOULD YOU DO?! I think he would definitely play the mystery dungeon games, but I also see him playing Sword and Shield. He would enjoy dynamax so much and would try to collect all of the forms to have a full crazy team of gmax pokemon.

Nene: I’d go with Johto for her too. I think she would like to around collecting both badges and fighting double the trainers! She’d crush the gym leaders and the elite 4 too!

Nightcord at 25:00:

Kanade: Legends Arceus. She likes the beauty of the game and the nobles. She likes to imagine which pokemon she’d be the warden of. She also likes the many areas and the story :D

Mafuyu: She doesn’t really play Pokemon. She plays her friends favorite games when they let her and she couldn’t tell you which one was her favorite. Though if she did, she would probably like Sinnoh and would play Platinum. I don’t have any explanation, just a feeling.

Mizuki: Any game with customization could work tbh, so Gen 6 - Gen 9!! I would choose Scarlet and Violet though :3 it allows customization and i think she would love terastallization and how your pokemon gets all crystaly and shiny during it!! Though she would definitely travel to Kalos to perform in the showcases

Ena: She would also play Scarlet and Violet too. She would enjoy the school and the terastallization. She would plan her team and see what Tera type they would have, and if it would work good. Though it’s important to know that she has the version that Mizuki DOES NOT have. They play and trade the version exclusives with each other, BUT FOR FUN, they like to debate which one is better. They’ll pull up everything down to the legendaries to basically everything, trying to prove which is one better. Thats it ty.

|Synopsis: you've been stressing out over exams so your boyfriend manjiro sano takes you on a date! |

2005 / March

You had been stressed out about your upcoming exams recently, they had all been piling up on you and it was a lot to handle. you had been thinking about that all day, so you couldn't actually get any studying done for any of your subjects, adding more stress onto your plate about the exams, the pit in your stomach kept on getting bigger. You are usually stressed about exam times, suddenly the bell rings, signalling that it is home time, you sigh as you pack your bag, you're the last person in your class and you see your boyfriend Manjiro walk into the classroom, he smiles at you. "Hey [name]~, missed you during class~♡" he always seemed so carefree about class and exams, his attendance was horrible he only ever came to school when he felt bad for leaving you alone, though you did have your own friends, however mikey wants quality time with you, he is in most of your classes but he shows up maybe 2 days a week max, though recently since the exams he has been around more often. "Hey mikey..I'm so tired, let's go home." you say with an exhausted look on your face, “actually.. I was thinking I would take you on a date, y’know since you’ve been stressed recently” Mikey says with his usual cheeky expression, he clearly had something planned that you weren't emotionally prepared for, it was probably going to be another big date that you were way too tired for, though you liked hanging out with mikey so you just let him take you to wherever he’s planning to go. 

You both hop on his bike and he starts driving to the closest convenience store,once he drives there he parks his motorbike. “Stay here i'll be back real quick” mikey runs into the store, you watch him as he grabs some snacks, you can't see what snacks but you are 100% sure most of it is just dorayaki. Mikey comes out of the convinence store with a bag and he hands it to you to hold. He starts driving again and you notice his driving to the nearby garden in tokyo, “are we going to a garden?” you ask, mikey smiles and nods his head, soon you two both arrive at the garden, it was a beautiful garden that was usually pretty quiet, only locals of the area really came down there, this was a place where both you and mikey liked to have dates at every once and a while. Mikey parks his bike and reaches his hand out for you to hold, when you hold his hand you notice him turn pink a little bit. “Cmon lets go sit near the water” mikey says as he smiles at you, it was so sweet of him to give you a well needed relax, this is just what you needed, no people around, just the two of you sitting near the lake eating snacks after school, perfect date. You sit by the lake as you both watch the city in the distance, mikey holds your hand and passes you a strawberry sando that he bought just for you, you didn’t think mikey had put so much thought into trying to calm you down from all of the stress that you've been going through recently. “I’m sorry you've been so stressed babe..” mikey mumbles, he’s clearly been worried about you, the look on his face tells you that much, “Thank you for caring mikey, i overthink way too much about this stuff” you awkwardly laugh, mikey holds your hand as you both eat your snacks and watch the city.

“Thank you mikey.. I needed a break from school.”

as soon as this man sees you, the love of his life, caught in a wretched titans hands, his fight or flight kicks in. and you know damn well it’s FIGHT. he drops everything at that very moment, no matter to rescue your dumbass.

erens minding his business, doing what he usually does with the levi squad preparing to transform and help at any given moment until he hears a familiar scream. he swiftly turns his head and sees your body trapped in a titans large hands - he immediately drops everything he’s doing with the levi squad and starts to make his way towards you QUICK.

levi and the rest of the squad turn to face eren but quickly realise he’s ran off somewhere, they all start screaming at him telling him to get his ass back over there but he doesn’t even hear them at this rate. he’s blinded by pure rage seeing the situation you’ve gotten yourself into.

he slices the titans nape with a war cry and snatches you out of its hands. he places you down gently and asks how the hell you ended up like that but, before you could answer the levi squad come over and take him away.

before he leaves, his squeezes your hand tightly.

MIKASA ACKERMAN -

this mf rescues you in two seconds FLAT. cmon now, even as a rookie they compared her to 100 soldiers, you’re more than safe in her hands.

she sees you tightly wrapped in a titans grasp, swoops in and rescues you immediately. while taking out several titans on the way, she swiftly takes down the titan and swoops you into her arms before you could land on the ground. as she rushes you back to safety somewhere she lectures you while on the verge of tears.

as she puts you down safely, she looks at you with tears still welling in her eyes. she gives you a stern look and says

“don’t you dare do that again. please.”

ARMIN ARLERT - 

poor baby gets so scared. he just thinks back to when he froze and he thought eren had died because of his cowardly attitude.

he cant do that again. he knows he’s not a coward and it’s time to show himself and you that he’s not. although, he’s not confident to take on a titan by himself so, he comes up with a very quick and witty way to get you out of that titans grasp.

he asks jean to help him with his plan and then get you out of there. thankfully, you held up the titan with your kicking and slicing of its fingers.

jean takes down the titan as armin takes you in his arms. he keeps flying until you’re somewhere safe and secluded, he takes this brief moment to take you into his arms. he takes in your scent as you embrace.

he thinks about how he could’ve lost this. thank god he didn’t.

although she may be a bit of a goof, if your life is in danger she’s not messing around. she’s getting you out of that situation, FAST.

sasha suddenly noticed that you’re not flying next to her anymore, her concerns grow quicker by the second. when did this happen? how long have you been gone?

she scans the area with pace, asking everyone in sight where you were then, she swung her head and saw a familiar person about to get eaten by a titan. she jumps into action, making her way towards you with speed, avoiding all obstacles that stood between you and her.

she slices the titans nape with ease and brings you back down.

“don’t scare me like that!”

CONNIE SPRINGER -

he gets so scared when he sees you in that situation, it makes him sick to his stomach. but once again, he is not going to mess around when you’re in danger.

although he has this horrid feeling rushing through his body and his head is pulsing from the stress of it all, he’ll come and save you immediately.

connie patrols the area, making sure it’s clear of titans, there he spots an abnormal chasing someone down the streets and it was… you?! it seems you had run out of gas. connie makes his way over the rooftops fast even faster than when keith makes him run laps.

he takes down the abnormal and scoops you back up taking you to the nearest station to refill your gas.

JEAN KIRSTEIN -

never seen that man move faster or kill a titan faster. he’s filled with pure adrenaline, the attack was quick witted and slightly blinded by rage/love. but it all adds up to saving you as quick as he could.

all he sees is you in a titans hands out of all places, the world around him is blurred as he makes his way to you and FAST. he’s slashes the titan nape deep as you catch yourself and carefully lower yourself to the ground to take a breather. he stands over the titan looking down on its lifeless body, he’s so disgusted that it touched you. he quickly makes his way over to you and his face that was filled with rage two seconds ago turned to a face of concern. he places a hand on your back.

“are you okay?! you’re not hurt are you? don’t run off on your own next time.”

REINER BRAUN -

comes after you IMMEDIATELY, his body moves before he can even think straight seeing you like that.. wrapped in a titans dirty fingers. only titan that should be grappling you like that is him🙄.

this man is lucky he’s so good at what he does because the way he was blinded by so much rage, he’d end up like eren in that situation if it wasn’t for his immense skills. though, he quickly realises that he needs to calm down and snap into action to save you, which he does diligently (of course).

he pats you down quickly as he examines you to make sure you’re not hurt and gives you a quick kiss on the forehead. you guys make your way back to the rest of the group with him keeping a verryyy close eye on you.

BERTOLT HOOVER -

this man is so FUCKING terrified, he’s almost on the verges of tears when he sees you like that. he couldn’t think of anything worse to witness.

he speeds off to go rescue you as the tears fall of his face into the strong winds and right behind him is reiner, knowing he’d need someone whether to help him rescue you or just emotional support.

as bertolt comes in and rescues you, reiner is behind him making sure no other titans try to ambush you guys. the process is quick and you’re out of there in no time. he squeezed your hand tightly as you take a slight breather but, you cant stay for long, you had to get back to fighting even more titans.

after it’s all over, he genuinely has an existential crisis about his own identity after this incident…

what if he causes you harm while in titan form? he could never live with himself if he did such a thing. i suppose it’s not something to think about yet.

ANNIE LEONHART -

rescues you in a heartbeat, you barely even realised you nearly got eaten by a titan because it all happened so fast😭.

i swear the same second that titan even TOUCHED you.. you were suddenly in annie’s arms, like what the flip? she takes down the titan swiftly, grabs you and puts you back down on the ground. you stand in shock trying to process what just happened as she looks at you, deadpan.

she sighs “i suppose we have some training to do when we get back.”

LEVI ACKERMAN -

pfft, cmon now. saving you is another day in the life really, isn’t it? this is levi flipping ackerman, humanity’s strongest soldier.

the titan didn’t even have a chance to grab you in the first place. he just sees it going for you before you even notice yourself, he slices it’s nape with precision and catches you and all! he sets you down and quickly scans the area before he grabs you, pulling you into his arms.. his nails dig into your clothes.

“i’m not letting what happened to them happen to you.”

ERWIN SMITH -

as the commander, he’s got a lot of duties to keep up with not including making sure his soldiers stay alive *ahem* but you’re not any soldier so!

he has no time to rescue you himself but trust me, someone close to him will be picking you up right away and whisking you off right next to him so he can see you’re safe and also give you a lecture.

however, if desperate times call for desperate measures he would leave his position for a split second to come save you, pat you down, make sure you’re okay and then dip again.

an unfamiliar hand whisks you away from your near death experience and places you right next to the one and only, erwin smith. he looks at you closely and pats you down as he says,

“well you don’t seem hurt, are you? you’re going to be staying beside me for the rest of this expedition.”

HANGE ZOË -

drops whatever they’re doing for you even if they’re doing their like deputy work, they’ll call someone to take over their position (could be an average soldier, causing great confusion).

no no no, hange saw you locked in that titan’s grasp and immediately springs into action. she taps the shoulder of a nearby soldier and said “hey! can you just- yeah, just stay right there” as they grab them putting them in their place next to erwin.

erwin eventually turns around and sees an awkward soldier waving at him instead of hange. he sighs.

while that’s happening, hange is flying through the forest chasing after you. they take down the titan and take you to a nearby branch. they frantically spin you around, making you dizzy in the process, making sure you’re not hurt. you did have some cuts on your legs due to you being squished with your swords beside you.

hange realises this and whips out a random roll of bandage from their pocket (?) they patch you back up and after they’re done asking if you’re okay, is the bandage too tight etc they eventually start talking about the ‘rush’.

“WOO!! IM SO FULL OF ADRENALINE RIGHT NOW, WOW.”

My boy Isagi came into the Blue Lock system as the second last player and crept his way to the top. He's literally the mastermind pulling the pieces together and winning matches. It's really amazing how he had no ability tha made him stand out much except his brain and that was enough for him.

Okay so the first two lines are like about his dribbling ability, right? And even in the next para the top lines are like how he's not following a rhythm and is doing whatever he wants to and THAT IS SOMETHING HE DOES IN THE NEL. (Sorry got too excited)

And the last two lines are about the "monster" he had, which existed in his mind. It was very relevant in the first selection.

NAGI SEISHIRO

This is VERY specific but I do think this fits really well during the second selection when Nagi chooses to go with Isagi and leaves Reo. Nagi actually stops being the lazy-genius he had been until episode 10 of the anime which has the match between Team V and Team Z where has an awakening (hence the "getting color back into his face" lyric) and he is gaining a passion for football which he never thought someone like him could even have. In Episode Nagi, even Reo acknowledges that the one who made Nagi put in actual efforts in a football match (which he had never done before) was Isagi and not him. Isagi was the reason of Nagi's awakening. And Reo was so sad that he was not the reason.

And right after his awakening, he decides to leave Reo because now he actually wants to improve and has a goal: To beat Isagi. And for that he has to leave Reo. So...yeah.

ITOSHI RIN

Okay again this one is also very specific just like Nagi's but i think this song completely represents Rin's relationship with his brother, Sae. Beating Sae is the only reason we have been given for whatever he does.

When we first see Rin at the start of the second selection, one of the first things he says is how he has to beat his brother and that's basically the bane of his existence.

And in between the confrontation between the brothers when Sae comes home from Spain and thenU20 VS Blue Lock Eleven match; a year has passed and Rin's feeling fir his brother is EXACTLY the same. (Hence the second para)

Also we can notice this during the Itoshi brothers' flashback, Sae had always been the way he is at this point since childhood. But Rin was different, he was a happy and naive kid. But that's gone now. Also how after the U20 VS the Blue Lock Eleven match when Sae comes to Rin, and Rin (and us, the audience) think that Sae is going to praise Rin who had just been in his berserk mode before; the expression change on Rin's face is so evident and heartbreaking. His expression is almost the same one he had when he was a little kid. So yeah, its very heartbreaking when Sae praises Isagi and not him when Rin has been craving for his validation for a longggg time.

My thoughts on the pjo show (now that the season is over) (this is going to run long) Overall Rating: 8/10 :

Ok first of all, I actually LOVED the show and the cast is literally awesome; I do have some thoughts and feelings tho.

The GOOD :D

The visuals were eating ngl

THE CAST!!!! they literally were amazing cannot stress this enough

I think a lot of the changes were handled super well, especially Medusa (although I don't love all of the changes...see below in the next section lol)

I LOVED the set design for pretty much all of the scenes!!! Like the set & costuming was literally so good; sometimes it looked a little Volume-y but I think it's ok since they also clearly did a bunch of on-location stuff

Driving scene was literally so funny like no notes on that + the acting was On Point pretty much All of the Time.

I actually think they slayed with the special effects

Pretty accurate! (overall a waaaaaay better adaptation than the movies)

BLUE FOOD!!!!

More Sally content was awesome!! And I cannot stress this enough the ACTORS WERE SO GOOD in their roles!! Like I think they were the perfect choices ngl and I hope to see more of them in season 2 (if we get one, idk if its greenlit yet)

I also liked how they focused on Grover's character more (lowkey my fav now)

Genuinely had a great time watching the scenes from the books I've loved since Forever come to life onscreen!

The character dynamics were GIVING

Loved getting more info about Percy's backstory

The way they showed the Mist was honestly so cool!! This might be filed under Visuals but still...it was so cool

Fight choreo fluctuated, but I liked the Percy vs Luke fight (altho the scorpion erasure ;-;)

Again the chemistry with the actors like adkjhfdkjdfkjhdfjkhk I think the acting may have been my fav part honestly lol

All of the easter eggs for the fans!!

Rick's subtle rewriting of the story was sometimes very cool! (Like with the water grabbing Percy etc) --- you can definitely tell that he's thinking about how he'd change the story if he were to write it today

...HOWEVER i have gripes :(

THE LIGHTING WAS TOO DARK IN NIGHT SCENES!!!! HATE THAT TROPE WHY CANT I SEEEEEEEE (looking at u medusa scene)

I feel like they should've fallen into like…at least one trap without Knowing Everything about it. Like, I get the Medusa change and am pretty on board with it, but I feel like a few of the other changes weren't really necessary & messed with the stakes. A lot of the time it felt like I was watching them explain "Oh you're THIS person so you will do THIS so I will do THIS" instead of like...showing me.

Not enough blood (this is prob a Disney problem, not the show creators fault but like...cmon Disney...they have swords, let the children get More Injured...they are Fighting for their Lives)

Felt kinda...dryer than the books? idk how to explain it...like it felt like there wasn't the same Vibes in some parts if that makes sense, like they switched out a lot of funny moments (esp with how they changed Charon and the Crusty scenes lowkey im bitter)

the tone was definitely sometimes waaay different from the books (like it was way more serious I think, which is good sometimes and less good other times)

Idk if this is 100% true bc my last reread was a few months ago, but I think they separated the main trio more than in the book (?), it felt like they were duo-ed with diff members for a lot rather than building off of their main dynamic -- they had some trio moments but ig i just wanted more (again, I could be wrong on this one tho)

Lotus Casino not really being as Fun (the pumping lotus flowers in the air was a cool detail tho!)

It generally felt like they took a lot of the funny parts in favor of talking more about how messed up the gods are (which I liked sometimes!! but the kids are 12 let them have more funny moments too yaknow) (Rip the Died in the Bathtub line...gone but not forgotten)

I really didn't love the changes that made the story feel more Cliche and Basic (the ones that annoyed me were changing the entire DOA to just Some Standard Death Eater Looking Fellow & Annabeth's interactions with Cerebus being completely changed)

Mixed feelings on Gabe...I wanted him to be more evil at the beginning but I get why they changed it ig. Plus he was literally so funny when he (spoilers?) got murdered by opening someone else's mail. That's what happens when you commit a federal crime ig.

General Character Thoughts:

PERCY: Walker Scobell was such a good casting call... like you can tell he really cares about the books & getting the character right. Acting was on point, sass was on point (but I do wish he got to be sassy a bit More); Really gives off the energy of Percy Jackson and definitely was AMAZING in this role!

ANNABETH: She was spectacular in this role!! Leah got literally all of Annabeth down to a T --- her kindness, her pride, her wisdom, etc etc without resorting to any kind of "stock smart girl" vibe. She was literally SO GOOD! I loved seeing her talk about her dad, and the detail about her not having seen a movie is such a mood and so in-character lowkey. Leah really nailed Annabeth's dry humor and general vibe like dfajkhfdjhkfdhjk

GROVER: He was my favorite! Like, his acting was AMAZING fr!!! They brought a lot of newer things into his character that I think worked really well & it definitely strengthened his characterization --- he was also really funny & so sincere I just loved his portrayal of Grover!

HOWEVER I think some of the arcs are shakier since the characters didn't struggle as much, since they were figuring out a Lot of things

Overall, I took 2 points from the rating because the Spirit and Humor weren't fully there and I felt some of the changes made it feel less like the OG and more cliche (looking at u Charon). However, the great acting, pretty slay writing (except for the tone stuff), Vibes, and all the other stuff I think they did right pulled through to get it ranked a little higher lol. Plus, I liked it, even if I didn't like all of it.

No hate if u loved the show adaptation tho!! Feel free to disagree, these are just my thoughts lol. I really genuinely hope there's going to be a season 2, although I would like if they fix a few of these problems in that potential season (please...let me see what's happening in the dark scenes...please...)

🩷 okay so first off fred is like insufferable when he has a crush and like it is 100% a miracle that you doesn’t find out about him liking you by him being so blatantly obvious about it

🩷 once yall do get together tho(finally), he is such a silly boyfriend. like he will leave you notes everywhere, on literally anything he can get his hands on. like you have a note on your hairbrush from him that says “you look so pretty when you are getting ready”

🩷 also he takes your things all the time without saying anything. like he takes rings off your finger and keeps them or keeps hair ties that you discarded on his wrist

🩷 you take lots of pictures of him with an instant camera that are enchanted but they’re badddd pictures, like terrible angles of him with bed head and a crumpled sleep shirt

🩷 he plays pranks on you but never mean ones because he doesn’t want to make you anxious, just silly things like charming all your mirrors to make it look like you have a mustache or making your quills write vulgar stuff instead of what you’re trying to write

🩷 before he decides to leave to start his joke shop, you try your absolute hardest to help him pass his classes and spend hours together working hard on his schoolwork
