thinking about percy jackson leaving his daughter of persephone crush flowers at her cabins doorstep everyday. or just every time you exit your cabin in general— he’s well aware you could create your own at will but he prefers to hand pick all of them himself. he had asked you one day about your favorite types of flowers, those ones in specific are the ones he enjoys leaving for you. he watches from afar as you pick them up from the ground with a wide smile, clutching them to your chest in joy and then confusing to skip your way into your cabin. when he comes inside some days he sees you’ve made a collection of all of them, taking up a whole shelf on your bookshelf for them. you ask if he knows who’s sending him and as a flustered mess he claims not to know but he promises to find out. you hug him in response, his cheeks flushing pink and butterflies roaming his stomach like crazy!! after weeks of pretending not to know who sent them he realizes you’ve become sad not being aware of who your secret admirer is, he fesses up to his actions at last. surprised you slap his head and yell at him for being an idiot and not telling you in the first place. you apologize with a tender kiss however, resulting in percy’s brain short circuiting and every coherent thought disappearing. but even now that you’re dating it doesn’t mean those flowers leave your doorstep…

౨ৎ you two didn’t actually consider yourselves friends until after ttc, when you were kidnapped (yes you’re taking annie’s place IM SORRYYY)

౨ৎ after the events of all that, percy found himself…drifting towards you, in a way

౨ৎ like, before everything happened, even if you weren’t necessarily friends, he did know you, like your existence mattered so much to him, he just didn’t know why at the time

౨ৎ but you, on the other hand, somehow did

౨ৎ when you were saved by percy and friends, you were very optimistic that it was him saving you and not somebody else, cause that just wouldn’t be as fun

౨ৎ anyways from the moment you met him, you were like “oh yeah that’s my future boyfriend right there”

౨ৎ and yeah calm down just a little bit, but you also just knew, and you thanked your mother everyday for giving you this knowledge

౨ৎ but you were also pissed because holy shit, it took percy a while to come to terms with how he felt about you, even after saving you and becoming friends

౨ৎ but when i tell you how many times you made a move until he realized

౨ৎ you were very clear about your feelings, like you genuinely had nothing to hide

౨ৎ percy was extremely confused about the fact that you never dated anybody at all

౨ৎ and loads of people at camp clearly find you attractive and percy does, too, so when you were like “oh yeah i’ve never had a boyfriend before” he was as shocked as possible

౨ৎ and you’d think that would make it click that he had feelings for you

౨ৎ and that was kind of your last straw. you literally sat him down and explained your feelings to him and how you liked him ever since he saved you

౨ৎ percy lets you do it every time and never corrects you, even calling you his wife sometimes.

౨ৎ listen you had your entire future with him planned. from the proposal (if he didn’t do it by age 22, you fucking would), to the wedding, to having kids, all that. he knew he could not stop you like he knew you were prepared

౨ৎ but percy still loved every minute of it, because the thought of marrying you, the love of his life, was just astonishing. he loves you just as much as he loves the thought of making you his wife, because it was you he would be marrying.

Btw I firmly believe that Nicos love languages are physical touch and acts of service🙏🏻 there’s nothing you could tell me that would make me change my mind and HERES WHY.

1) physical touch

“Oh but Nico canonically hates physical touch🤓” well yes! And let’s think about it for a second here, because him being touch adversed for most of the time AND having physical touch as his love language actually makes a lot of sense!

For most of the series Nico feels uncomfortable, inadequate, unaccepted. He hates himself, he is scared of his own feelings, of his own self. I think it’s extremely fitting that he doesn’t like when most people touch him, because he doesn’t feel accepted by most people, he doesn’t trust them. Its extremely fitting for him to absolutely refuse physical touch, because he doesn’t feel like he can show the part of him that is full of love, or more so he doesn’t think he has one at all.

Hes canonically always searching for physical contact with people he loves, after he starts healing! We see this with Hazel, though not a lot since NicoHazel content is regrettably in hoo only, with Jason, WITH WILL!!!! He’s literally CONSTANTLY touching Will. Holding his hand, kissing him, sitting beside him and scooping closer to him. He loves physical touch guys he just does…

2) acts of service

Well this is actually extremely obvious😓

He’s The Helper. He’s literally the helper. In the whole series. He’s just helping everyone constantly.

He does this with people he doesn’t like or trust, I think it’s clear he would do even more with the ones he love.

He loves doing little gestures for his loved ones, like cooking for them, or bringing Will a snack while he’s in the infirmary, bringing Reyna some water when she’s training… THATS JUST WHO HE IS!!!

warnings: none? this is really short though pairing: percy jackson x clumsy! reader a/n: my clumsy readers might my dramatized but I’m only writing from experience here so 😭

percy takes your steaming mug from your grasp and into his own hands, making you frown in response

“I had that!”

“did you though?”

your frown forms into a pout. you go to place the scalding hot coffee pot back in the machine but your hand gets caught in between, you yelp and clutch your hand to your chest. percy places your mug on the counter and rushes to your aid. he takes your hand into his and examines it

“you need to be careful” he scolds, in a loving manner of course, and kisses each of your fingertips making your cheeks flush a pink hue

“I’m sorry”

“don’t apologize. just watch your surroundings, I don’t want you to get hurt. promise me you’ll try?”

“I promise”

percy hums and plants a kiss to your forehead. you look back down at your hand and see that one of your older cuts had opened up and began to pool out a crimson liquid. percy notices and reaches into his jeans pocket, revealing a bandaid in between his fingers. he opens it up and you see an imprint of spider-man sprawled along it, your eyes sparkle in response

“where did you find this?”

percy laughs and wraps your finger in the bandaid. “had to steal it from the apollo kids. I know how much you love spider-man” when he finishes he kisses your finger, then claims your lips, a ‘reward’ you were granted after an injury. you’d keep this secret to yourself though
