He is the first PhD holder in science communication from the prestigious CSIR- NIScPR (AcSIR), probably the first from the whole country. He regularly writes for various national-level science magazines and newspapers like ScienceReporter, Science India, Shasthra, SciTech, The Pioneer, The Statesman, The Telegraph ,TheDaily Guardian, The Hindu, etc. He is also involved with various Science popularizationprogrammes of the government. He has over 20 years of experience in extension activities/science communication activities.
