We've finally made a breakthrough in our digitization technology, although it is far from perfect. The 'analog-to-digital conversion' is functional and we are nearly complete with the necessary algorithms. Ma3a and I should have them done in the next few months.
It's been a long road but we are almost there. Lora was right about the algorithms. I wish she was here to celebrate this moment.

We noticed the random fluctuations during the digital conversion experiments that will need to be corrected somehow. The MCP's unique ability to 'learn' enabled it to perform computations beyond current science. Without it, I'm afraid it may be years before we re-establish the ability to digitize matter correctly.
The only thing I can think of is perhaps a set of algorithms that can be written to compensate for these fluctuations. The complexity of these algorithms is quite frankly unfathomable, but I believe it is theoretically possible.
