Cult of the New Faith (GoatTimeLineAU) Now that Narinder has free reign to invoke death or resurrections, he will celebrate the rituals to his followers anytime he desires. Around the time Goat became the vessel, the resurrections started to have different effects on the cultists. Started with them being catatonic, and later most of the time they appeared as zombies.

It was unknown for them how to cure the zombie trait. Usually when a follower was sick, they just rest or if they died, got ressurrected later. Medicine and health was under Kallamar's domain. Althought, initially curious about it, Narinder had to do experiments on how to cure them or most of his followers are gonna get eaten.

Followers started to dissent or protested about the experiments on their loved ones, relatives, etc. Most feared that the same fate could happen to them. Ratau was tasked to appease the revolt in the meanwhile. Ended up on getting the followers distracted with various constructions. He won't notice that slowly all of those things will accumulate SIN... but that's a problem for the future.

Notes: Door and Biome design for Narinder, will only be explored on a superficial level. It may be a Savanna? Still unsure about the name. Monsters have the appeareance of felines: panters, jaguars, lynx or serval. Given the events, aside from the usual monsters (without the bishops, they are stronger) on the lands will appear zombies and damned followers too. The enemies on the savanna like biome could be part of the zombie experiments. Enemies designs are owned by Macanek (gave permission to use them)

AU of Goat Timeline - Where the bishops are dead, their souls are still lingering in the lands. - Shamura is imprisoned and Narinder is the last god. - The prophecy is similar as the canon but with goat "freeing" Narinder. - Ratau is Narinder's disciple - Aym and Baal are still living with Forneus. What if one day in your Goat Timeline AU, the Goat opened a portal and pulled the Lamb into their world, just like how the reverse happened in the first Unholy Alliance trailer?

It would be interesting! I want for both to have a meet up scene, but at the moment i can only think of an AU inside another AU lol. Maybe after wrapping the story, i could dive on this too.

Hi! Sorry if this is a bit of a rant, but I've been following you for a while now, and I wanted to say I LOVE your artwork and Goat Timeline AU. Your art is simultaneously silly yet gruesome, and I love the story too. You have me on the edge of my seat with every update lol (WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THE FOX BRO HUH???? I'm terrified in the best of ways).

Super glad to see you're making more CotL artwork, especially with the Goat! I can't wait to see whatever else you draw!

I do like to see people's reviews or even critiques about it, since this is my attempt as a storyteller for a personal project- so yep, there's gonna me more! (Mystery! and to be honest I'm still wondering how much would change if Ratau stays or not. Since this Goat has more reasons to accept the deal than not, aside from personal grudges, is one less disciple to deal with- even thought Ratau looks more open to hear... hard decisions )

Well, I liked how in some stories (specially from MsWikit -Ao3- ) Heket and Kallamar are paired with their Witnesses or followers, so i would go with that same line too but mixing a bit with one of my saved games: Heket has celibate trait ,but still kissed one of the "female" followers; and Kallamar has polyamory trait. Now that i think about it... I also had a natural skeptic Narinder, a cynical Leshy and a Shamura afraid of death...

How would the Goat behave in Sins of the Flesh rituals? (in your AU)

They would participate on the Rite of Wrath, altought later is gonna be a pain in the ass to clean the mess. Similar energy with the ritual Gluttony of cannibals, dedicated for the spies. Ritual of Pride wont be any different than the other rituals for them With the Rite of Lust, they are going to be focused on collecting eggs more than anything :u

Man, i love your goat au so much, you make all the concepts so beautifully well is really fitting into the game, and i've started to wish they were playable.

One of the things i like about the goat's character is their charisma and the way their flaws are more obvious than a "saint hero figure", and Shamura is my favorite bishop so far.

So i was wondering: Will you go deeper into their vessel-god relantionship somehow? Like showing their interactions and view of each other, perhaps the spider sharing something about their old days or something in the end after they get defeated?

I would love to know more about it, if you were willing to share.

Wait a Minute how does the Goat get resurrected when Narinder controls life and death?

Is the Goat basically during a Permadeath run?

...And just when I was about to post something like that xD but yes, they are in permadeath. Goat has to go strategist mode for this holy war. There are other crown abilities that are going to be keep locked too because with the context of the AU, i can't see any way of them getting those. But that's just more interesting-

How did Aym and Baal get their powers in the goat timeline? Do they have any connection to Narinder still?

Yes! they are still Narinder's guards, they just keep themselves watching outside the cult. Also, I'm not sure Aym and Baal would have that deep/familiar connection with Narinder, but would look up to him and respect/worship

hi againnnnn, just gonna chill here and ask about the goat au again- which is undoubtedly my fav :3!

im kinda curious what the goat's first follower will be like! what animal they will be, what their trait is and so on!

oh and since death and resurrection isn't possible for the goat in this au, which means goat had to possibly watch most of their followers die (unless they're wearing the skull necklace but even then they'll be dead before goat can get the golden skull necklace) and im just :((( what would goat do if one of their followers are nearing death??? would they whip up an egg meal or just let them past and go salvage their corpse for meat???

Yay! thanks for the preference!~ The first are mostly animals that could be found in Silk Cradle: bears, bats, beetles.... and the mini bosses. Also, answering alongside the other question, Goat will give egg meals to followers with better traits (sorry not sorry for the rest), the "royal poopers" are on the top lol, but they could spare followers with negative traits too, like "hot tempered" for the funs. With the rest... if they were good, return to the soil! if not, then you know what's for dinner.

and there are exceptions where followers are doing their best to die sooner.

Veré de meter a los aracnidos estos más seguido pero mientras dejo un sketch en progreso para algo a futuro :V ---- Thanks! and yes, they'll help Goat, there's a plan to add some in the drawings featuring battles. I'll see to show those arachnids more frequently but for now, here's get a wip for a future post.
