A summoning gone wrong.
A possession with benefits.
He’s still warm. He still says his name.
Sometimes it’s even his voice.

It was only meant to open.
A slit in the veil. A whisper from the thing beyond the thing.
But he—
He took it. All of it.
He didn’t mean for it to fit inside him so well.
He didn’t mean to hold it like it might not leave.
