so. i have been saying since the top of the season that this feels like a reset, and a reintroduction to the characters (which makes sense for a new network!)—i know others have talked about to being a transitional and setup season as well, which i agree with.

ive been thinking about parallels and mirrors and what it might mean to overlay season seven over season four, the things that could possibly imply…

season four is the only other non-pilot season to have less than the full 18 episodes. season four is also the only season that ends on a life-altering arc-beginning injury for a member of the 118 (which also makes sense for a shorter than usual season, big hook to make up for the fewer episodes).

at the end of season four, eddie and bobby both end up dramatically injured (sniper). the end of season four also has the first mention of the will. now, i cannot say for sure that either of these are going to be mirrored, BUT. looking at the roadmap they’ve already given us… i have some feelings and predictions :)

and i’m not even going to begin digging into the vertigo references, others have more eloquent things to say, but i wanted to at least mention it because i DO think it’s going to come into play…

(if you can think of any other 4/7 parallels i would LOVE to hear them)

i will be really really shocked if they dont do the past devils minion route. not just because that means that armand and daniel were looking at each other Like That throughout all of s2 for nonreason, but also because theyll lose the potential of the most incredible moment ever:

in qotd, armand asks daniel to "ask him if it was raining" one night several years ago, to comment on memory and how unreliable it was. i always thought daniel asking louis if it was raining in s1 was kinda unprompted, but wouldnt it be amazing if theyve set up a parallel to that ?? i cant stop thinking about it lmao

People are frothing at the mouth over whether we'll get to see Papyrus soon, but one thing I haven't seen mentioned at all is the fact that there's a clear trend of older siblings disappearing and leaving their younger sibling to flounder without them.

And like, if DR Sans really is UT Sans, then we already know something bad is going to happen to him, and as of the end of chapter 4, he's suddenly gained a lot more plot relevance.

It's nebulous but... I don't think Papyrus is getting introduced until after Sans meets his fate, whatever that may be.

Hmmm... now that IS an interesting possibility!

Would that mean Papyrus Undertale is not Papyrus Deltarune (Sans adopted the Alternative Timeline version of his brother after he got locked away from his original world?), or does Sans get Undertaled and then Papyrus gets Undertaled after him?

Writing Apollo-as-a-young-deity is fun because sometimes it involves completely making shit up based on the loose outline of a story told through old poems, prayers and plays and other times it involves researching the totally legit and well documented ancient art of studying sheep livers to make sure your statesmen don't accidentally piss off Jupiter.

What I loved about Cinderella's Castle is it is so entirely about Ella. We know starkid can handle a show with tons and tons of characters but I found it quite refreshing for it to be so wholly her story? I think it was a lovely choice for this show and man Bryce did such a perfect job of it, she is truly such a star

So after just having finished Chapter 46 of The Harrowing, I had to do something with all the -Feelings- it inspires, which I don't think I can accurately express via writing alone so here goes:

Based on the warnings I had an idea of what I was in for, but impatient as I am I decided to go ahead anyway, and this is my immediate reaction post chapter read. The feelings needed somewhere to go. So we got this!
