For 2021, I’ve decided to elucidate my favorite podcasts of the year by recognizing the ones that I was most excited to listen to every week. (Or however often a new episode is posted!) But first, I’ve made a list of every podcast that I currently subscribe to on my feed and which I listened to at least one new episode of in 2021, because each and every one of them deserves to be called The…

Is that ( abigail cowen ) ?? No , according to their file that’s ( daphne blake ) from ( scooby doo ). i heard they are ( twenty four ) and ( she ) ( is ) known for being ( high strung ) , but also ( intrusive ). if you ’re looking for ( her ) you’d have a good chance looking in ( riverdale library ). it’s very clear that they are a ( leo ) since they have ( carmen ) playing by ( lana del rey ) on repeat. hopefully they’ll have what it takes to survive !

EARLIER LIFE

well above the affluent her father is a business man who earned his riches at the tender age of eight; he started blake’s bubble bath and ever since started selling products only adding to his wealth. her mother was around... if hosting tupperware parties and avon testing meant being around. not that it seemed to affect daphne in any way. she grew up taking on more of her mother’s approach. doing what she wanted and planning on marrying rich. she had so many hobbies but no goals, not like her highly successful sisters who each went off to do something goal driven.

when her sisters were working toward careers daphne was picking up interests left and right, fashion one day, karate the next, then it became serious when the wonderful world of true crime came into her life and she created a podcast that talked about all sorts of creepy stories and horrible murders. she is a smart and driven girl she just can’t seem to find a career worth her interest. this has concerned her father but as the youngest blake he can’t seem to be mad at her. instead he lets his daughter run around with her rag tag group of friends, collecting stories and cases to talk about on the next podcast. now that things are growing in popularity though she wants to branch out to bigger things, more terrifying cases and what better place than riverdale! home of the black hood, cewwpy stories coming from neighboring town, greendale, and better yet her cousin cheryl blossom!

leaving her friends for some time is going to be hard but as long as she’d getting a good story and they have wifi for nightly facetime calls to keep them updated she knows that it will be worth it.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM INBETWEEN THE SEVEN YEARS ?

when she arrived to riverdale she was more than excited to see cheryl and help her cousin with anything to defend her on getting custody over juniper and dagwood. as she has been in town though she must have caught the eye of hiram lodge because she was made reporter for riverdale’s paper! little does she know she has been used by hiram, not knowing his intentions when she gives him daily updates on the residents in town. it was the perfect crime; getting someone innocent and unknowing to do his dirty work while people only see her as a friendly asset and fellow sleuth. all while keeping up her podcast with her friends back home she finds out not only details about the black hood but a new line of murders and better yet... she might just be the one involved in this case. imagine the ratings!
