I am taking a week off from the comic as I have family visiting AND I really need to make time to work on things for the volume 4 kickstarter, which we are hoping will happen later this year (possibly autumn). Hope you understand! I will try not to get tendonitis or die from being mauled by my nephews

Short weekend hiatus

Hey all, just a note that I'm not going to be around much this weekend, since I've got a friend visiting me and we'll be busy hanging out and doing fun stuff together! So, no streams or art things this weekend...those will pick up again next week!

Hiatus Notice

Don’t worry, this isn’t going to be a permanent or long-lasting thing; after over five years this blog is still going strong, and we hope to keep it that way for a long time yet to come!

It’s simply a matter of needing to take a brief vacation from the role of active mod and focus elsewehere for a few weeks. The mods have some large events coming up in their personal lives, and the event blog also needs a bit of TLC to get tags and links updated. Therefore:

Applications for new cards will be closed starting June 9th (EST), and will re-open on June 30th!

During this time, we’ll try to keep up with reblogging filled prompts when we have time to get online, but it will likely take longer than normal for your posts to be reblogged. Additionally, no bingo announcements will be made and no messages will be answered during the hiatus.

Once the hiatus is up, we’ll return to normal blog activity as soon as possible.

hiatus notice! i'll be off 07/05 to 07/14 to visit family. i won't be bringing my laptop and a good chunk of that time will be in the mountains so things may be spotty. my queue is well stocked, tho. the best place to reach me will be disco and i'll def be down for some chatting and plotting!

yeah this is my way of saying i'm going on hiatus (again). who knew death could effect you so much? i feel bad for leaving constantly, especially since i've joined a bunch of fun events (that i LOVED) and met a bunch of new and amazing talented people that i don't want people to look at my blog and see shit like this.

but honestly i'm just so tired of hiding. i mean most of you already know my grandpa is fucking dead so why bother trying to hide?

don't know when i'll be back. his memorial is on the 15th so maybe in the following week after. i just want to work on my comic, honestly, but if updates are going to suffer then i need to take longer breaks than just a week off. =/

In an effort to save my own sanity due to life problems, a LOT of schoolwork, and problems with my tablet, I'm putting answering art-based asks on hiatus until around late December. Any asks I haven't gotten around to yet will remain as they are, and the inbox will remain open to add stuff to the backlog when I have the time and energy to come back after the semester.

Feel free to ask about other muse questions (... I guess a bit like an AMA is what I'm going for? I'll answer them if it doesn't seem framed as a direct ask to a character). These will probably be text-only when answered.

it genuinely pains me to do this, but I’m putting this blog back on hiatus again—but only a semi-hiatus. I specify that because I wanna be able to pop on and off but have no like…pressure to be on if I can’t be. I’ll be around whenever I can, but if I’m not on, I’m busy with class work or exams.

I know I don’t have to give yall a reason, but I want to. I just… I’m crumbling under irl stress and pressure. Classes are beginning to get crazy. I have comprehensive exams, finals, and graduation coming up. It’s a daily fight to stay afloat and…I’m always nearly in tears because of it.

But I love you guys, thanks for being patient. This too shall pass, and I think after next week, I’ll be back full throttle. I just have to get through comps before I feel better, since those are the primary source of my stress at the moment.

Please note I am now for the first time taking a MONTH'S BREAK so that I can recover my health and attend to matters irl that I cannot if I am doing the comic (including having a friend over for 2 weeks yayyy). The comic will resume on the 15th of October.

HIATUS NOTICE

so... might be taking a full hiatus, considering recent life events.

very tl;dr: 4 day hospital stay, surprise new medical conditions.

i'm alright now, don't worry. .... but i definitely am still not fully recovered, and likely won't be entirely until i get a surgery date sorted out.

so i think i need to call a hiatus, at least until i know that i can physically attempt to keep up with the dash. 'cause definitely can't do that right now.

i'm still available on discord and such, as always. i just literally do not have the excess energy to be here right now.
