Time spent with Kita was always blissful ever since you started dating. The cherry blossoms fell from their branches and swayed down onto you both, painting a scene where he stood in front of you.

You always knew him as the sweet and demure friend who’s involved with the volleyball team. Recently, you’ve been noticing the hints Kita’s been dropping around. ‘I can walk you home..’ he’d tell you when it’s getting late. Or ‘Here you can have mine’ when you really wanted something that he has. You find his gestures of kindness tugging the strings at your heart. However, you couldn’t tell if he was his usual good-natured self or if he had true feelings for you the more you got to know him.

It was until that day before he went off to volleyball practice. Kita’s finger gently tapped on your shoulder, inviting you to walk home with him after school, knowing you also had extracurricular activities. Nodding at his subtle request as you usually end up walking home with him.

He made it to the front before you, changed into a plain black tee and shorts from practice. Kita’s standing in the middle, fiddling with his fingers when he heard your shoes clank towards him. His dull brown eyes lit up at the sight of you when he tilted his head up.

“Sorry Kita! Did I make you wait long?” Caught up to him, his complexion is more pink than usual. The energy was a bit off and awkward but nonetheless it’s always comfortable silence, just not this time.

“No, I didn’t wait long,” Kita began to slowly walk down as you picked up his pace while making small conversation with him. ‘How was practice today?’ were some things you asked him, he replied with short clear answers this time.

Coming to a halt, a few inches behind him. His head twisted to gaze into your glossy eyes as he swallowed deeply. You’ve never seen the calm and collected Kita act like this before, it was as if  something was eating him inside. He’s biting down on his bottom lip, as his eyes surged for words.

“I like you.” Time stopped for a moment while you digested his words that rang louder than the last school bell. His lashes fluttered down, thinking the gasp of shock you let out was a negative reaction towards his genuine feelings.

“I understand if you don’t feel the same way–” You cut him off with a warm hug that wrapped around his broad shoulders, altering his sorrowful face in surprise. His big hands catch you and pull you tighter in his embrace. His face in your hair, sniffing the scent of shampoo.

“Does this mean.. That you like me back?” Kita’s pulling you away for a brief moment by your shoulders to glance at your face which was now a tint of pink. His blank smile, turning into a broad grin as if he had won a volleyball game when he asks you this trivial question.

“Yes it does! I always had these feelings whenever I saw or thought of you.. I really like you too,” you’re beaming through your lashes that bat from happiness.

Ever since that small gesture that triggered the event that led to your blooming relationship, you’ve been dating ever since. Of course you both had your own separate lives, especially on campus as you both enter your third year. You guys were rarely seen together now that you were put in different classes as your high school careers continued to grow. 

At the end of second year, he was crowned captain for Inarizaki’s boys volleyball. You couldn’t be any more prouder, but that also meant that he’s going to be even more occupied with volleyball especially with his teammates. These challenges didn’t stop the way you both had an amazing and healthy relationship with each other though. You both promised to communicate everyday whether or not it’s a simple ‘Have you eaten?’ text or a late night phone call, sometimes you guys would meet up when your schedules aligned for some time alone with just the two of you.

You both were pretty discrete when it came to revealing your relationship to others. Especially Kita, he’s more focused when he’s just in the moment. If something comes to mind, he’s bound to bring it up. But when he’s all busy trying to strategize for his team, that’s all he’s gonna be thinking about. At some point you do cross over his mind, usually at the end of practice or an official game.

Kita hasn’t even said anything about dating when it came towards the volleyball team. That was until him and the boys were all changing after practice. The Miya twins are always bickering, but both decided on a delicious place to get food after the team leaves the lockers. They both craved some fresh hot food and wanted the team to come along to celebrate now that Nationals were over.

“Mr. Perfect Kitaa, let's get some piping hot udon once we leave!!! The whole team’s goin’ tonight,” Atsumu’s voice shouted from the other end of the locker room. Immediately turned down with a single hand gesture, as Kita slips on his shirt over his head.

“HUH?? What are ya doing after practice today? Y’ur usually always available!” His loud whining echoing off the walls, while the others are staring back down at Kita.

“I’m seeing my girlfriend today.” Kita’s cold voice froze the whole locker room. Suna’s ears pointed, listening in on the conversation from his head inside his locker. The room radiated with absolute silence, as if waiting for the volleyball to be served across the court. 

“YA got a girlfriend?? When did y’all start dating? Kita, WHY haven't ya told any of us??” Everyone’s eyes and attention were all pointed towards the team captain, darting him in shock as they all tried to process this information that Suna didn’t even know.

“Well you guys never asked–” Everyone’s astonished face rushed towards the half naked Kita who just wanted to put on his pants. Ears are all open ready for his story. Suna’s on his phone, recording the moment as if he were Inarizaki's news reporter.

Atsumu’s expressive face was still stuck in an ‘oh’ waiting for Kita to speak more on his relationship. But right before Kita was able to part his mouth Atsumu’s curiosity got the better of him.

“Don’t tell me Kita… ya got y’er first kiss before I did...” Breaking the intense silence that erupted in laughter. Kita’s thankful for the light weight air that broke through, flashing a smile thinking about where to start with your relationship and how you even met.

“Um.. yeah” looking up at Atsumu to answer his statement, smiling with his eyes while he’s thinking about you. Everyone in the locker? They were beyond gagged. Kita was the first in the group to date, which was shocking considering how Inarizaki’s got the popular Miya twins.

His phone vibrates inside his metal locker, you were calling him to know that you just wrapped up your extracurricular and are now heading out towards the front. Of course, his teammates were dead silent trying to peep into your call. 

“I’m leaving first, I don’t wanna leave my girlfriend hanging” dragging on his coat, fixing the collar before zipping it up. The team’s heads rotate while he grabs his bag on the way out of the locker room.

“We’re definitely gonna spy on him, right Osamu?” was heard on the way out, followed by a “Lets go.”

You’re standing at the front on your phone waiting for your boyfriend Kita, until you hear his voice call out for you from behind. The closer he walked, the more he picked up his speed. The faster he went, the closer he’d be with you. 

“Kinda got caught up with the guys again. I thought they knew we were dating, but I guess not haha.” Kita’s smile is brighter than the sun while hands entangle with yours. But you sensed something that he also brought along with him. 

Peering behind you for a quick glance, you saw the whole volleyball team behind the school building. Especially the one with a phone, and two slick foxes that quickly ducked out of your vision. You thought this was silly and cute, clinging onto your boyfriend’s arm contently before parting your lips to let out a little giggle.

“Hehe, did you notice that you’re getting tailed right after you left?”

Bojunyixiao’s Weibo night 2023/2024 🎉🎉

can you believe we’re here again. no matter how problematic sina weibo is as a platform, their awards night is a day cpfs look forward to because our boys will be attending. even if we know they won’t interact or anything, the fact that they get to attend the same event is enough for us.

i will just include the recap for the past years on here, the 2019/2020 being very short cause i feel like that has been widely speculated and talked about already. then 2021 and 2022. this post will discuss the event and stuff that happened + some commentary + cpn clownery. enjoy!!!!!

I. CPFs team building and showing strength

It would not be fair to exclude this feat that cpfs achieved with the free tickets for Weibo night. Even if we had no idea if both of them will attend, cpfs tried to grab tickets just in case it happens so we will be prepared. In the first round, we surprised all other fan groups with how we dominated and it set the rhythm for the next rounds. Trust cpfs to set the trend and make other fandoms “wake up”. lol. They can say what they want about cpfs but we all know that part of the hate is because they do not understand why we’re still here. They don’t get why we are this strong and a happy group.

My favorite thing that happened was when the top profile photos spelled out BJYXSZD + heart with a mole. It doesn’t stop there tho, the next week/round, we still dominated so Sina Weibo tried to save face by doing some tactics to suppress us. Nevertheless, every week, more of us got tickets because of the help of our little turtle fandom.

There were also efforts to get top comments on Weibo Night posts but I won’t get into that anymore cause we usually do that. But the thought of showing strength “online” as what the boys advertised is sweet.

Years later, we are still as strong as ever and shall remain that way. and that’s all thanks to each and every turtle out there who chooses positivity & makes sure our community remains a safe space.

II. The anticipation and announcements

It’s safe to say that this year, XZ is a sure attendee cause he always tops the voting at this event. However, some were still not sure cause he did not attend other public events last year like 10c starlight or NYE events cause he is busy with filming his projects. On 1/10 evening tho, a rather unsavory rumor made it on HS which was a signal that weibo night was getting desperate and wanted some noise for their event. lol. maybe there are other parties involved, but the intent is the same. I will also just mention the issue that happened on 1/9 with Chunzhen and them withdrawing lottery tickets supposedly won by certain fans. But the next day, Weibo lottery decided to honor the win and gave the tickets. I have no reaction to this tbh, and that’s why i didn’t talk about this separately and at length on my blog. It’s the brand / fandom that i have nothing to do with’s issue. As a turtle, we all know how CZ is with certain things so i’m not surprised that this happened. LOL.

I honestly feel for XZ, he is out there working hard and minding his own business but people and circumstances keep dragging him into irrelevant incidents.

As for WYB, everyone thought he wasn’t gonna attend. This is the same energy as last year. People are busier with grabbing tickets for his SDC6 finals and completely ignored weibo night ( as they should ). There was still some hope tho, cause if you think about it, he attended a lot of platform events. Tencent, IQIYI, GQ MOTY and 2 NYE shows. So why not Weibo Night? I have said it before, but one thing that I loved about WYB attending multiple events by the end of last year was it’s a show of his position and professionalism in the industry. He can go anywhere and be welcomed — he has good relations with almost everyone and that is important in their industry.

I know he is not fond of public events, but i’d like to think he says yes because of his professional relationship with these platforms/companies. I was never a fan of when people flex that their fave “will not go to xx because they did something to him etc.” LOL. That’s not how any industry works. You can’t burn bridges and I’m happy that WYB doesn’t do that. It’s also a testament of how much of a good boy he is 🤍

Anyway, back to the timeline. On 1/10, Weibo announced some winners and the boys are on there. I guess One & Only winning was a clue that WYB will go. Then a so/o account gave a tip that WYB will announce his attendance to an event on 1/11 @ 13:00. So by the evening of 1/10, it was mostly confirmed that WYB will be going.

The next day, 1/11, Weibo Night account started posting emoji clues for the remaining celebrities to be added in their guest lineup. A few hours later, both the boys announced their attendance. What’s different this time tho is aside from the usual copy-paste caption, there is a reminder for everyone to not do any fan activities at the venue. more details was also added in the comment. I guess they don’t want a repeat of what happened last year with the crowds. It caused a delay & cancellation of the red carpet. Both XZS and YBO reposted with more guidelines to follow like no gatherings and light signs etc.

There are more fandom drama after the announcement with other groups but i won’t add that here anymore cause it will only rot our brain. && it’s so much better to focus on the boys!

III. Pre show discussion

On the eve of Weibo Night, GG attended an awards show and it gave us some sweet candy. The most interesting to me is the choice of Alexander McQueen and the first two celebrities tagged by the brand on their weibo in 2024. This is giving me Dsquared vibes. Also how it almost mirrors the wedding-ish vibes they had last Weibo night. I know we as cpfs are somehow programmed to seeing connections but honestly, they don’t make it hard.

Late at night too, Weibo started showing opening screens of attendees and of course they didn’t put them in the same group/frame. This is understandable cause they wouldn’t put the top male celebrities together and knowing how both their fandoms hate each other. Also, how the grouping went, WYB’s was more of the “movie group”. That won’t stop me from being a bit better tho. lol. Cause if they can’t put them in the same frame like that, there is just no way they will be on the same stage or even sat remotely close to each other.

A photo from inside the venue also showed the projected commercial on stage is WYB & Chunzhen 😂😂😂😂😂

I can just imagine XZ smiling when he sees.

There were also talks of the both of them being on the second row. XZ was already seated way before the ceremony started, and their names are so close but cpfs were anticipating since WYB was not inside yet. We were all waiting to see if it will happen. WYB is supposedly next to YZ but then we see that Jackson sat there. We joked that he should stay there so WYB’s place will be taken and he will have no choice but to sit next to XZ 😂😂😂

IV. Red Carpet shenanigans

I honestly didn’t get the whole look tho when some people pointed out that it’s the glam version of what he wears when he plays golf — i kinda got it. For his past platform events like GQ, IQIYI & 10C, his red carpet were really casual. I guess that’s what he wants — to be comfortable walking the carpet. There were also some praising him for going against the norm. Well, I have to say tho that his face really stood out. Minimal to no make up look. He was so handsome! 🫶🏼

I love his outfit! It’s black but still got that something special to make him stand out. &&& I honestly love the hair! I thought I would cry because of how short it is now but it suits him. I mean, he looks gorgeous in anything but you know what I mean ☺️

CPN: XZ signed his name beside/very close to WYB. granted, there are so many signatures there but i’m wondering if he recognized his husband’s signature. lol. In this simple way, they can be next to each other!

VI. THE SUGAR RUSH 🍭🍬

• WYB’s personal post of him and the caption. The freakin caption. Look, i know that WYB’s brand is all about being the “cool guy” so maybe that’s why he said in the caption that he likes the HS about him. But the thing is, it’s totally out of character. How many events did he attend with him going so high up the HS with much more interesting tags but he chose this? Also, he really needed to do so that he used his own account??? For a couple of years now, yibo-official is the one that posts for him when he is at an event. So the speculation is this one is personal and amused him so much, seeing that their HS for the same event they are both at matched! Also, when WYB posted that, CPFs flooded the top comments! Understandably so. 💛

• The signed photos which i’m not sure about. I actually saw someone post that earlier and people were clowning about how it can’t be real.

But then, an account posted a giveaway with all the other attendees and it included the couple photo. I’m putting this down as clownery, cause on their end there will always be deniability. The autographed photo was also deleted by the account a bit later, which is actually expected cause it will bring trouble. lol.

• XZS and YBO matching again! Look at how they arranged the photos. How a few of the snaps are not in theme with the rest. Nothing new here!

• The same song and dance of them missing to see each other. As soon as XZ was gone, WYB came in to sit down. Good thing he had Jackson to talk too a bit and he was gone again after 10 mins! Hopefully they could spend time together backstage away from the cameras. 📷

People are pointing out that XZ was checking his phone lol. probably checking if WYB is giving him a signal to leave so they can do their usual operation. These two! Honestly!

• Not really CPN, but a similarity. In the red carpet, both of them didn’t do the “activities” that others were supposed to. If you watched the red carpet, there is a point where they have to choose something from a wall with numbers. there is also a choice to take a photo from one of the “themes” by they both bypassed it. I was rolling my eyes cause a WYB anti was trying to make a big deal out of it, but then XZ did the exact same thing. Some people just don’t understand how celebrities like them operate. Not to say that they are above everyone else, it’s just that they do things differently.

• ZSWW fake rumor account posted at 19:21. At this time the red carpet was already finished. It doesn’t say who is saying which line. I’m interpreting this incident to be something that happened today backstage 🤡🤡🤡

• There is a photo/video of XZ talking to Huang Bo! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! and now we’re thinking about how they haven’t cooperated with each other but seem familiar. Yes, we don’t know all their relationship and friends off camera but my mind immediately went to the SDC 3 clowning. That’s most likely when they became close. lol.

• Heaven’s choice cause WYB was sat at #23 ( Love Zhan )

• This time, both of them left the venue after they received their awards. XZ didn’t stay like he did the previous years. Good for them! It’s better to spend time together 🤍 I know that most of us expected what happened today, them not being in the same place at the same time. Tho some may see that in a negative way, I actually see this as an example of trying to keep their private life separate from the public. Tho a big part of their lives are on camera and that’s how they met. I think what they are doing is really to reserve the time they have & are seen together in private. Maybe some can’t see it that way and will be frustrated but at the end of the day, we have to respect their choice.

Ao no Flag (SERIES FINALE SPOILERS!!)

Seriously, don’t read this if you are planning to read Ao no Flag. That being said, go read the manga now!!

Finally finished reading Ao no Flag and I have so many feelings. Non-coherent, rambly, messy feelings. I was looking at reactions online and what mainly boggles me about the reactions to the final 2 chapters is people being “how is Taichi suddenly gay??” My friend living on this big planet he never was (he’s bi). He most likely just realized it later in life. Did the events of his 3rd HS year help him figure it out? Heck yes. Is he suddenly bi? No.

Not all queer people pop out into this world and instantly know they are queer. Heck, it took me 23 years to figure that out. It’s not like Taichi instantly realized he likes Touma and started dating him. He knew Touma mattered to him somehow, but it took him multiple years to realize how, as evident by him maybe starting his relationship with Touma after 5 years when Touma contacted them all. He gained life experience and grew.

People go through a lot of learning, unlearning and growing. Especially if you are outside of societal expectations and norms. Taichi grew up learning to and wanting to blend in with society. “Be normal, don’t stand out too much”. Add to that low self-confidence and you feel stuck. Feel like there is only black and white. only one right answer to life. It can be very difficult to look out of this dark box, trust me, I had a tough time and sometimes still do. But it feels like Taichi thought and thought and pondered even back in high school and came to the decisions that he did.

And isn’t that what the series is about? growing as a person, making mistakes, learning, allowing yourself to be visible and vulnerable, and eventually, making choices, even if they don’t make sense to anyone else, and continuing to do so?

These two pages really hit me hard and I was wondering why. And then it hit me. This is possibly the happiest I’ve seen Taichi be since his childhood. Like genuinely happy. He’s reached max happiness points and is sharing those with Touma. He’s made his choices, and he’s happy. You can and are allowed to choose what or who makes you happy.

That’s all that matters.

in your place were a thousand other faces this would go with gregory and his inability to remember the exact faces of tony (and ellis), and all of the counsellors and everyone ggy encountered during the time he used his body

i was disappearing in plain sight this is gregory living at the pizzaplex - he’s missing, but in plain sight, as the pizzaplex is a big and crowded place, so if any of his friends were to go there, theyd have a chance of noticing him

would you leave me if id told you what ive done? it kinda goes for both of them, but mainly gregory - when he'd remember the actions ggy took, he'd obviously feel guilty and would think everyone would leave him because he was dangerous. i think this also applies for tony, but only after he realises how much of a jerk he's been - gregory wouldnt remember everything, so if tony told him, he'd be afraid of his reaction

Hi, how are you? 😊I'm excited to see the NerGen but I would like to know: I adore Nathaniel, but I confess that sometimes I have difficulties understanding his true personality. What is he really like? Is he more the Nath of HS, College or LL? And where does the inspiration to create him come from? Thank you very much! 💕 💕 💕

Hi ! Thank you, I'm excited too XD Can't wait but still lots of work to deal with.

Nathaniel is, of course, a bit of all those versions you meet through the game.

He is a good person, no doubt about that. And you meet this part of him in HSL. But you also learn he is not always an angel neither. It's specifically pointed out in the episode when you learn a bit about his and Cas' childhoods, where you learn he could be a meanie with his sister. So at this point, he is still a teenager and his father has been controlling him so much that it makes it impossible for him to experiment and experience during adolescent crisis (to name it like that; things lots of teenagers can do at that stage, like they will stay outside after curfew, some might try a bit of alchool or smoke, have bad frequentations etc... ) -Read this with a grain of salt, I am not saying that IRL all teenagers do this, or that they have to do that etc... Just that it is a common development stage for most youngsters- So as young adult in CL he gets all this freedom and the possibility to try all those things but with no one to help love or guide him (like any good parental figure is supposed to do). So as we say in french, he is in "roue libre", kinda out of control, and it goes too far. (I imagine it came gradually of course, not everything all of a sudden.) -Here again, it is something that can happen, and that you might have witnessed if you have had friends with very severe parents, they sometimes snap when they reach majority -

By LL he is much better, and starts to find himself but he still has lot of patchup to do, which can explain a bit of chaotic behaviors at times. But he is a good boi, and at the end of the day he will be fine and will keep bettering himself, both for him and Candy. (It’s also mentionned he started to see a therapist to help him in this process.) -side note : I sometimes see comments of people who are angry at a character for reacting this way or that way. I would just like to say that for a same event happening to 10 people, all those persons can react and deal with it very differently, (sometimes even in opposite reactions). The way you might deal with whatever event or trauma is valid, but it is not the only universal way for all -

AAAA okay so, basically spoilers, this is loosely based on an RP my fiancé and I have been doing since January of 2023, and this AU was insoired by the ocs we created in that, so in the MNK AU, Kyle had met this woman, Grace, in college and married her despite Sheila not liking her, but Kyle was in a “grr I’m a grown man, Ma, I know what I’m doing” and married her anyways (I know this isn’t stan but it plays into Stan’s character); so Sherri is born, and Kyle, Yknow, works and has his emotional shaky relationship with his mom, and Sherri was actually named after Sharon, who Kyle went to mostly because he was like “oh shit idk how to be a parent what have I done”. Naturally, he turns to his SBF to be the designated baby sitter.

Stan fell in love with Sherri from the moment he first held her, and was a Godfather at first. Now Stan, in this au, thought he was bi for the longest time, but once he hit like 20 he realized that maybe, just maybe, he leaned more toward one field than the other. He’s also demisexual, and agender, but uses he/him to keep things simple, just fyi. He talks to Wendy because, especially after experiencing Sherri for the first year, he wanted a baby of his own, so Wendy was a surrogate mother for his son, Nathan.

Now for more STAN background, in the au, he is on the autism spectrum, like that’s a BIG part of his character in the RP and in this AU, so things weren’t easy for him as a neurodivergent person, so he did struggle a lot in social situations and in school, and there was a time where he and Kyle kinda drifted apart.

The event of Tegridy farm burning down IS canon here, and Stan DOES have PTSD from it, in a unique way. The man is OBSESSED with fire but also is a pyrophobe due to the event. In this AU it was kinda more so an accident, because he STARTED the action as a reaction to his intrusive and depressive thoughts BUT as the flames grew stronger and taller, he heard Shelley calling for help from the barn and instead of like- waiting for help and all that and letting her possibly die, Stan actually runs into the flames and rescues her BUT almost gets trapped himself.

It gets deemed as a wild fire incident (Randy blames Stan but SP P.D. Isn’t the smartest and doesn’t wanna deal with Randy), and Shelley and Stan have matching burn scars on their legs. Stan also suffered a HUGE asthma attack from both the smoke and the weed in the air, enough for him to have nightmares to come where he failed to save Shelley/got trapped in the flames (Sharon’s cries for her babies haunts him).

Anyways, fast forward to about Junior/Senior year of college (Tegridy burning down was Jr. high, Freshman year was Randy and Sharon’s divorce, Randy got custody of the kids bi weekly on the weekends because of course the system failed the kids), Crimson Dawn gets back together, legit, starting off as a cover band, and Stan and Kyle’s friendship is somewhat repaired by this time, Stan is still on and off with Wendy.

So, they graduate HS, go to college, Kyle meets Grace and impulsively gets married just to prove a point to Sheila and Gerald (who OBVIOUSLY favor Ike, not really, but Kyle FEELS like that’s the case), Kyle doesn’t talk to Sheila for a hot minute, Grace gets knocked up, and Kyle’s like “oh shit oh fuck oh shit”, turns to Sharon for help, yada yada.

Now Grace is a very head strong and independent woman, and she values her skillset and career choice (fashion designer) above almost all else and she’s almost never home, Kyle’s stuck with the baby and is stressing with college courses and work and his non existent relationship with his mom.

Stan can pretty much only help with one of those things, so he sets up play dates with Sherri and Nate, and supports his SBF best he can (while also running away from his own emotional problems, because he’s Stan and he’s stubborn)

Skip a few years, and Grace gets knocked up (again), still the same old Grace, so now Kyle’s juggling work, lack of familial relationship, AND two kids, except Godfather Stan is right at his side the whole time.

By the time Sherri is 5-6, Nate is 4-5, and Spencer is about 3, Grace basically chooses to pursue her job in New York over staying with Kyle, and even the kids.

Stan, of course, steps up and continues to raise the kids on the side while Kyle is dealing with this woman that he believed would be compatible with someone like him, Kyle and Grace get divorced (it’s not pretty), and Kyle slowly realizes “oh my god the partner I’m looking for is right next to me”. Because all he wanted was for someone to accept him and his kids, and who’s done that the entire time? Stan.

Now, back to more Stan focused: Stan brings the kids to the studio a lot and plays music for them, but that also means that the kids (Sherri especially) have seen some of Stan’s worse moments. He never really SNAPS per se, but he does have moments where they (she) can tell he’s not really ALL THERE.

Stan always struggled with something, whether it was alcohol, or some form of s/h, ranging from avoiding sleep, to punching walls (or himself), but he never does it in front of the kids; Sherri, unfortunately, is observant as Hell. So is Spencer, both of which are ATTACHED to Stan like duct tape, so they end up telling Kyle “hey, I know you’re going through a thing but maybe you and Daddy/Stada can help each other out (Spencer calls Stan “Stada”), so then it becomes like a counselor/boyfriend relationship from Kyle to Stan, and Stan’s broken mindset finally gets the attention it deserves.

Stan has had a record of “spacing out” when pyrotech goes off on stage, and this is one of the first triggers Kyle makes note off, after a concert that takes place near Stan’s birthday, about a year after they get together, which inspires Kyle and the kids to get him an emotional support dog, a girl Swiss Shepard named Zappy, named a little after Sparky. In the AU, Sparky had a little lightning bolt on his paw pad, and so does Zappy, so it’s believed that Zappy is a reincarnation of Sparky. Stan keeps her close to try and keep himself grounded, especially in crowds. She’s often back stage during concerts just in case.

And that’s all I can think of off the top of my head. That and Stan’s shoulder injury in this AU came from him rescuing Shelley in the barn, one of the pillars fell and slammed into it, hard enough to dislocate it. Also, another fun fact, Stan bleached his hair once in HS, and later, Sherri helps him bleach it a second time.

Stan also helped Kyle reconnect with his parents, AFTER they get married; Sheila got to meet her grandkids, and Kyle and his parents have a decent relationship, at least in good enough terms to talk to each other again.

Kyle took Stan’s last name in their marriage as he wasn’t in good terms with his parents again YET, and Stan ended up adopting Kyle’s kids legally and also changing their last names.

In the absolute gamble that Homestuck will still exist and be usable in 2031, I've scheduled every post for this project (or saved to drafts when the queue overflowed) so it's ready to go on 4/13, 69 days from now.

Homestuck ran for 2557 days (7 years including 2 leap years), but the comic was only updated on 1161 of those days. On each day with an update, there will be a post detailing the day's pages, numbered according to update days. So, 4/27/24 will be 'Homestuck Day 13' as 4/27/09 was the 13th day with an update, despite being the 15th day of actual time.

These posts will be tagged #homestuck replay and #homestuck. (I will not be using the tag 'upd8' due to actual, present day upd8s of Homestuck: Beyond Canon).

Amélia stepped away from thedoor slowly, so distracted that she bumped right into Armin. The black haired boy caught her by the waist on reflex.

“Wow, I knew I had an effect on you, but throwing yourself into my arms during work hours? That’s not like you!”

“Shut up, idiot!” she pushed him away, her face was slightly flushed. “I was just distracted!”

“Distracted? That’s not like you either!”

The gray-eyed girl glanced around to make sure no one was nearby. Then, she grabbed his arm and dragged him outside the police station.

“Amy, I know you love me, but we’re at work now! We can sneak off later if you want some alone time,” Armin teased with a playful grin.

“Keenan, shut up, okay?! And don't call me that!! Look... I need to tell you something... I overheard Agent Ward talking to Carello’s girlfriend.”

Armin’s smile faded and his expression turned serious.

“What?! What did they say? Are them together again?!”

“I don't know... I really didn’t listen what she said, but I heard Ward mention Carello… and someone named Lilian.”

“Lilian?!” Armin’s face paled.

“Yeah,” Amélia confirmed. “Apparently Marta suspects something’s going on between that woman and Nathaniel. This Lilian girl works at Goldreamz, and they’re planning some kind of fake event to get Marta close to her.”

Armin ran a hand through his hair, visibly worried.

“Shit… She must’ve overheard Nath talking about Lily!”

“But… is she really his mistress?” Amélia asked cautiously.

Armin laughed and shook his head.

“No, they’re just friends! But between us... Nath totally in into her.”

Amélia hesitated for a moment, then decided to speak up.

“Well, that would explain why Carello’s been in such a good mood lately. You should convince him to leave Marta and move on. Either alone or with this Lilian.”

“Yeah… You think I haven’t tried yet? But it’s not easy getting rid of my NOTP!”

“N...O… what?” she gave him a confused look.

“NOTP. It’s what we call a couple we absolutely can’t stand!"

“You’re so childish…” Amélia smirked rolling her eyes.

Armin laughed at her reaction.

“Someone’s got to be the fun one in our duo, right?” he said with a wink, then his expression softened. “But seriously… thanks for telling me. It’s nice talking to you like this without arguing for once.”

She couldn’t hide the slight smile forming at the corner of her lips.

“Don’t get used to it, Keenan. I only did it because Carello’s always been kind and respectful to me unlike some people I know… And I kinda dislike Agent Ward... I've been betrayed before by my ex best friend, I know how it hurts. By the way I need to go now...”

Armin gets surprised for what she says while watched her head back inside.

He sighed and pulled out his phone he needed to warn Nathaniel about Marta and Eric.

At the mall, our protagonist had invited Lilian to help him choose his suit.

“So… Do I go with a black suit? Or maybe this light blue one? Which do you think is better, Lily?” Nathaniel turned to her, holding up one option in each hand.

She tilted her head, studying the choices with a look that was both thoughtful and adorable (at least adorable in Nathaniel’s eyes).

“Hmm… the black one looks classy, but… I don’t know.” She smiled “It kind of reminds what my boss would wear.”

Nathaniel froze, raised a brow, and looked down at the black suit.

“Ugh. Okay, definitely not the black one,” he said, immediately putting it back on the rack with a grimace “Last thing I want is to look like that arrogant narcissist!”

Lilian laughed, covering her mouth with her hand, while the blond looked at the light blue suit.

“Stop it! He does have a nice side, you know?” the green-eyed girl said between laughs. “He’s been giving me rides home ever since that creepy guy incident that I told you about.”

“A bit too nice, if you ask me…” Nathaniel muttered looking away.

“Uh... What did you say?” Lilian asked confused.

“Nothing… Just saying that kind of ‘niceness’ usually comes with a second intention” he said while rolling his eyes.

“Are you jealous?” she teased “You’re still my favorite friend, you know?”

“Jealous?” he let out a dry laugh “Of course not! People are free to like or dislike whoever they want! If you want to be besties with your boss? Fine! But I also have the right to hate him! I mean, as long as we don’t start any fights, we can totally hate whoever we want, right?”

Lilian couldn’t help but laugh at his odd take on things.

“That’s usually with fictional characters you know?” she said giggling “But alright! Just don’t start a fight with my boss, please! I really don’t want to get fired!”

“Oh don’t worry. My hatred is quiet,” he said with a sly smile “I’m basically an expert at pretending to tolerate people who get on my nerves. I had a lot of practice...”

She raised a brow, curious.

“Now I’m intrigued… Have you more people on that hate list of yours?”

“Plenty. But today’s not day for talk about my traumas.” he said with a smirk “We’re here to pick a suit, not make you cry!”

“Alright, alright… I won’t ask anything… for now!” she replied still with a curious look.

“So? Does this suit will look good on me?” he changed topic fast.

“Yeah… The color suits you better,” she replied with a smile. “Blue really works on you especially the light shade. It makes you look even more handsome.”

Nathaniel looked at her, slightly surprised by her spontaneous compliment. His heart skipped a beat, but he masked his nerves with a smirk.

“So I look ugly in other colors, is that it?” he teased.

“O-of course not!” she said quickly, waving her hands nervously. “You look good in anything! I just meant that blue really brings out your features.”

“So you think I always look handsome, dolcezza?” he added with a playful wink.

“Ugh! Shut up!” she rolled her eyes and looked away, her cheeks bright red as she crossed her arms.

Nathaniel chuckled at her flustered expression.

“Alright, alright. I’ll stop before you turn even redder and run away of the store.” he joked.

Lilian huffed, but couldn’t hold back a small smile.

“Just go try it on already!” she said, giving him a gentle push toward the fitting room.

“As you wish, dolcezza,” he replied with a grin before disappearing into the changing room.

While he was getting dressed, Lilian wandered around the store a little, watching the people passing by absentmindedly. At one point, she picked up her phone.

After some time she listened Nath's voice.

“Lily, get your eyes and heart ready!”

She laughed and rolled her eyes.

Just then, Nathaniel stepped out of the changing room, now wearing the light blue suit, crisp white shirt, and a matching tie. The fabric hugged his broad shoulders and muscular frame perfectly. His hair was slightly tousled from changing, which only made him look more attractive.

Lilian froze for a second her cheeks burn.

“Well? What do you think?” he asked, turning slowly to show off the details.

She blinked a few times, trying to get her brain to reboot.

“Y-you look great,” she said, stammering a little, unable to take her eyes off him.

Nathaniel crossed his arms, a smug little smile tugging at his lips.

“Do I… look handsome?”

“Oh my God! Can you stop asking that already you idiot?” covering her face with her hands

“But handsome, right?” he teased, adjusting his tie casually “You’re lucky to have me as your date, you know!”

“Yes, I know!” she said with a shy smile.

The blond blinked in surprise, a light blush rising to his cheeks. He hadn’t expected that answer.

“Or maybe… I’m the lucky one,” he smiled gently to her. He was about to touch her cheek and say something else when his phone rang from inside the changing room.

Nathaniel sighed and stepped back into the changing room to answer it.

“What is it, Armin? Already missing me?” he asked with a sarcastic voice.

“Nathaniel! Are you free to talk?" Armin’s tone was serious and that was never a good sign.

"Uh sure... What happend?"

"I’m cutting straight to the point Amélia overheard Eric talking to Marta on the phone. They already know about Lilian"

Nathaniel’s eyes widened in shock. His face paled as he glanced at Lilian, who was frowning now close to the changing room, clearly sensing something was off.

Nathaniel clenched his jaw.

“We have to stop this.”

“I know. We can’t leave Lilian alone with that snake. Not even for a second. And there’s only one solution…”

“Tell her everything I know… I’ll do it right after the wedding.”

“Exactly… But before you have to tell Marie she works there too you know?”

“Shit…” Nathaniel suddenly ran a hand through his hair, visibly nervous. “I completely forgot Marie and Castiel are going to the wedding too!”

“Yup… And since Marie works at Goldreamz, she might be key to keeping Lilian away from Marta.”

“She’s still friends with Marta, but I remember she was against the cheating,” Nathaniel said, rubbing his temples. “Even if we’re not close, it’s worth the risk. One way or another, I’m telling Lily everything after the wedding. I’ve got nothing to lose at this point.”

“Exactly. You need to talk to Marie before Marta steps foot in that company. She might be able to stop any contact between the two.”

Nathaniel let out a long sigh.

“I should’ve told Lily everything from the beginning.”

“Yeah, you should’ve. But you did what you thought was best at the time.”

Nathaniel closed his eyes for a moment.

“I’ll call Castiel tonight and ask for his help with this…” he said with a more calm tone.

“Good. And after that, breathe a little and enjoy the wedding. Lily’s your date, right?”

“Yeah.” a sad smile tugged at his lips. “I’m scared of losing her friendship.”

“Just tell her everything. She’ll understand.”

this is something i had been thinking about writing and i think because it seems it would be controversial i might truly need to put it out there. set in between the ending of hs proper and between the epilogues, with the surviving kids being seen as celebrity figures in canon, describing the relationship between public sexualization of teenagers VS how they are viewed when they are adults.

and keep in mind this is based off of experiences that me and my brother went thru. for lack of better words, being viewed and followed by a million+ people online as teenagers (we both had tiktoks reach 1m+ views for the context behind that number, likely more tallying up individual people vieweing content over the course of 5 years) the obsession people had with me, especially adults. the oversexualization, the way i presented myself because of my own hypersexual tendencies didnt really help. having grown ass adults being obsessed with 15-17 year olds, being burned by the spotlight like. and as soon as we hit 19; no one wanted ANYTHING to do with that sexualization. which sucked, because finally, i WANTED people to sexualize me, and i felt mature enough that it didnt feel gross and pedophillic anymore.

and i know im not alone in this experience; countdown clocks for female celebrities turning 18, child actresses becoming adults and doing adult content and the publics reaction normally isnt "wow, shes pretty! im glad shes doing her own thing now." its "remember this literal child? shes plausibly hot and sexy now. lets all debate whether or not she was prettier now or she was prettier as a teenager!"

and because the epilogues were set much later , there wasnt an oppurtunity to show this type of relationship a young public figure has with the masses viewing them. treating them like gods rather than discombobulated and freshly traumatized teenagers who simply beat a game and opened a door. i think there mightve been hints to it in the epilogues, but it truly is fucked up growing up as a teenager being oversexualized then becoming undesirable as soon as you become mature enough to actually Choose to be sexualized.

i think characters like jade/jane/jake/kanaya/roxy would be particularly powerful pieces of this narrative considering their complex relationships with sexuality/gender. id likely make it a two-part narrative; one in the past, and one in the future. framing past events through a vague lens, like a warped memory rather than in present time, maybe a little unreliable. the goal would be to focus on the characters relationships with said oversexualization rather than making it some excuse for me as the author to be a fucking weirdo towards 16-18 year old characters.

keep in mind that much like my current almost finished fic (dubiously labelled cultstuck, though the full title is Cult of the Green Sun) i address the traumatic events that went down from the point of view of the victims and their road to recovery; NEVER dwelling on, describing in full detail, or writing any scenes describing in full intense flashbacks/writing callbacks to said events. its important to address trauma thru the lens of the victim and how they attempt to recover from it, rather than writing out the traumatic event in plain text. and id be doing something very similar in this piece.

i dont know. fanfiction as of late has been an outlet for my own journey of recovery and i feel a piece like this could help me process some of my teen years VS being an adult. and i know im not alone in having a complex relationship with being oversexualized as a teen. it could be kinda cathartic. idk. its hard to put this idea into word like this and i am a little worried it may be taken in bad faith. but this topic just. IRL it is not talked about as much as it truly should be.

• “went to the world and help the people” - this is a pretty easy connection to them cause both of them are big on charity and helping people in general. it’s a message they both carry with them, being a “celebrity” is not the main reason they do what they do. they take acting seriously, and all the more, their role as public figures seriously. they make sure they bring something good to their audience and help them in that way too. i’m thinking about the recent hs connected to wyb and him paying for scholarships and — this is why xiao zhan fell for him. he saw a really good person that inspires him everyday. how could you not.

• “after a tiring day, sat around the bonfire and grilled the fish, the master listened to the little apprentice while..” - this was the part that got me really thinking about their relationship. it screams domesticity and to those like me who loved all the lrlg / fake rumors sharing glimpses of that part of their lives — then you know what i mean. even when they were on set in 2018 or doing press in 2019, there were a lot of just standing around and waiting but it was never boring because they had each other. I wanna say, those mundane moments were special because they were together. When you read LRLG, the exchanges are about their day-to-day life and lacks the “action” that most fan fiction about them have. I think that’s why lots of turtles love it cause it shows their “reality”. I see XZ agreeing to this because this is what his relationship is like with WYB. He loves the peace and quiet and being in that person’s company — no matter how tired they both are. Please let them have that relaxing camping trip already!!!!!!

• “this is deeper than any kissing and will make my heart move even more.” - i basically rephrased this part but the point of OP is, that scene of them in the first paragraph shows the two characters love each other and it moves her heart more than any kissing scene will. I hope XZ feels the same with the roles he takes and i’m gonna keep an eye out on the frequency of kissing scenes. lol. not that i have any problem with that but if you need multiple smooches to make people believe that girl and boy love each other then you have a big problem. I wanna say that this way of conveying love without explicit action is something GG appreciated in CQL. They both had to be deliberate in their actions to show what’s the true relationship between WWX/LWJ. 🫶🏼

How they always message each other during cql shoot and promos??? or even LRLG/Fake rumors, it has the element of telling each other about their day. • “seeing boundless love in the ordinary”- I think to XZ, there is nothing ordinary when done with love or with the one he loves the most. We joke about them being an old married couple — yibo learning to cook and knit, them buying home appliances, xz folding wyb’s clothes for him — but that’s just it. that’s the kind of love they have now. 🤍

Hoping the whole "the point of beyond canon is moving on" point doesn't take a cynical meta turn like its predecesor does. You know, like how "the epilogues are your fault as a reader for looking beyond the happy ending", it would be "you (the fans) need to move on from homestuck". Cause that would be dumb, especially if you have even the slightest knowledge of fans as a general concept, general reactions to things, and also have any history with hs's production and fandom. "You need to stop obsessing over this" said franchise that both keeps releasing stories and merch and events for itself, who also has a notoriously bad fan turnover rate, to the point where its common place for sour fans/ex-fans to say they want you to end already.

Canon Heartstrings lore: Dude & Alex

When we open HEARTSTRINGS, Dude and Alex are best friends. They were each other’s first friend and did absolutely everything together, only parting when they had classes. This slightly changed when Dude got her first boyfriend. They didn’t stop hanging out, there was just always a Guy with them. Alex wasn’t sure why but she felt so betrayed. She was so angry at Dude for in her mind leaving her and at Ezra for stealing the most important person in her life from her.

Deep down, Alex knows she is in love with Dude. She is simply just unable to come to terms with the fact that the love she has for her is beyond platonic. She loves and supports her, but she can’t. Her family would be livid. And she’s so sure she likes men. Perhaps the one she’s actually fixated on is Ezra? He caught Dude’s attention so there must be something special about him.

Throughout their time in HS Alex gets several flings and boyfriends but none of them stick around for long. She’s not sure if she’s trying to prove something to herself or get a reaction out of Dude but regardless, whatever she’s trying to do it’s not working.

Both of them were devastated after the events of the comic. What hurt the most was the betrayal. They each truly cherished their bond, and both considered it to be very special. Almost holy. They felt so cared and seen by each other. It ended their worlds.

In her own seriously odd way, I think this was Alex’s way of showing her love for Dude. She wound up helping her too. It just cost Alex everything that mattered to her.

Alex is very envious of Dude’s ability to be open about her queerness and not be ashamed about it at all.
