the only change he's ever made is by calling himself casper instead of 8394.

then there's his mortal.

they did something similar, calling themselves something different from their given name. but that is far from the last change they've ever made.

he watches them change their wardrobe, watches their features change as they take hormones. their body changes so quickly -- casper thought that only happens during childhood. he helps them cut their hair short, or massages their head to help it grow faster.

HSKAJS ITS JUST NICE! because even as MC changes, casper finds that he still loves them. loves them more, even.
