So I finished my sessions of art therapy the other week and I just got my artworks back from my therapist.

I've been thinking about whether or not I should post these as they are very private to me but then again, so is my practice and the works that I make in studio. I also think there are some very interesting overlaps with my therapy works and some of my recent artist models which I didn't realise until I looked at them again.

I've found my art therapy sessions really beneficial and think that It also really helped me ground myself and be more confident in my own artistic practice this semester too. My practice has become a very safe space for me to reflect and heal and I think it's definitely been doing that and more in the last few months.

I don't want to go into too much detail about each work but overall I think there are some interesting comparisons and overlaps with some of my recent research and artist models. I think it was a also a really good idea to start the sessions this semester - the timing worked out really well with the shift ht
