Look, I made a sketchbook! I was dissatisfied with using a lined notebook to do drawings and designs while I was out, and I couldn't find a visual diary / sketchbook of the size, binding type, or aesthetic that I really wanted. So I made one haha! It was also a good project to do will I've been slightly ill with a sore throat the last couple of days, and until I can get to the fabric shop to buy elastic for the dance costume I'm making for a friend (see previous post). Hopefully be well enough to go shopping tomorrow! Anyway, pages cut down from a nice weight pad I had, then folded and arranged into folios, or whatever they're called, then pierced and stitched together, before being glued to a leather cover with end-pages. Playing with a new #kurotake pen. Not the model of pen i thought i was picking up (i have others that have squeezy barrels) but the brush part matched. Flowed pretty smooth considering it was across a rough surface and i havent quite learned to loosen up my wrist for the curves.
