Creatively named Bloomburrow Starter Kit review post
Ok, so a lot of people have been comparing this set to Redwall. Anthropomorphic woodland creatures with swords going on adventures? Fair enough, too. But there’s lots of other authors doing “Animal Fantasy” type stuff. Watership Down is another people will probably know, The Rats of NIMH, or potentially even Duncton Wood. If not, these are worth checking out. Duncton Wood is a great standalone…

@freedomfighters-ofmobius liked for a starter with BLU Scout for the Red Valley FFs
Scout emerged from the convenience store with a cold energy drink in one paw and an empty gas can in the other.
He put the can down in front of one of the pumps, swiped his card, and started filling it.
It had been just his luck to run out of gas early in the early afternoon. Even with his long, black-tipped ears cooling him off, it was just so hot out and he wanted nothing more than to be back in his car's air-conditioner rolling down the highway to Ma's place.

Basil: Have you ever done anything illegal? Matthias: At a restaurant, I asked for a water cup and I put lemonade in it. It was an accident, I apologized, I poured it out, and I paid for it. But still, pretty reckless.

I’m trying to move away from Goodreads as a platform, but on Wednesday I saw that this book was recommended on there- “Raising Hare: A Memoir” by Chloe Dalton. For some unknown reason I NEEDED this book.
I quickly tracked down a copy and got it, not realizing that it had just been released in the US the day before. How lucky I was to find a copy and I haven’t been able to put it down. I’ll let y’all know what I think when I finish it!
