Plz… do you have any yandere clone crumbs (or headcanons even)? I love this trope lmao

YOUR CULT LEADER IS SO GLAD YOU ASKED
[LONG yandere ramblings under the cut!]
Tumblr media
THESE ARE ALL RANDOM STREAMS OF THOUGHTS. THERE'S NO ORDER. ALSO I'M NOT A WRITER SO FORGIVE ANY ERRORS!!!
General
They're all interested in the same type of person for different reasons. So if you catch the interest of one, you'll soon catch the interest of the others.
The clones are also pathological liars like the main body.
They're scrappy unfair fighters.
They'd all have a common trait of imposing themselves into your life. Whether or not you want to see them, they'll always pop up uninvited.
That and being disgustingly clingy to the point you can barely breathe without one of them there to share your air.
Their violence varies, but rest (un)assured that it is always an option for them, yes, even Hantengu.
Even if different, sometimes it really shows that they're a single unit.. sooner or later, your hands will be full with a bunch of annoying, needy, lying, terrible, and problematic assholes.
They're all more intense than the average human. To them, a human life is as insignificant as an ant. They'd kill someone for the hell of it, or if it's an order from Muzan. That view doesn't change much if you're in the picture.
Now it's just a matter of not scaring you too much, hence, Hantengu’s chronic lying problem. They want to be the ones you rely and lean on. to feel comfortable with! Don't mind the blood. It's not like you haven't seen it on them before!
Relax, they truly never want to hurt you!!
Hantengu
Starting off with our man of the hour, Hantengu. He's aligned with delusional and obsessive types of yanderes, one who's too afraid to approach you but watches you from afar nonetheless.
You'd have to make an effort to find him since he'd most likely be shrunk into his tiny form and hidden in some small crevice.
It started off as a simple fascination. You probably made contact with him in his human disguise (accidental or not.) As he cowered, you were pretty decent.
It was a surprising but welcoming change of pace from the usual villains who'd try to harm him, but he still fled from you. He was going to eat you no doubt, but he kept putting it off until he lost his appetite.
He's terrified you might do something to him, that you'll hurt him! but the attention you gave him makes him yearn for your company. He wants to watch you all the time and quite literally, will do just that.
Hantengu's there when you wake up and when you go to bed. He's living somewhere in your home. Always watching.
With the ability to shrink very small and run extremely fast, you'd think you might have rats in your home. Each time you think you hear a snap, the rat traps always end up broken to pieces.
He sends his clones in his stead to test the waters after getting far too worried once you leave his sight. If you don't hurt them, then he'll know you're not so bad! Still won't approach, but a bit more calm when he's "around." or when they invade your life.
Assuming the clones never stray too far from the main body (if they're physically able to or not, doesn't really matter) they never want to leave Hantengu unprotected, which means your home is the main base.
You can move, try running away, get help, or whatever, but it's all futile because Hantengu will hide in your items meaning the others will always end up finding you with him.
it's a rule of thumb for the Hantengus not to mention him for safety reasons and because he's already terrified as is and any unwarranted attention is probably bad... He'd be horrified to be under your gaze for long, which is why he prefers you with your eyes closed.
Hantengu is like your sleep paralysis demon. At the dead of night, he peeks out from wherever he's hiding and watches you.
With demonic speed, any flinch or shuffle from you has him hiding again, but if you awaken and keep your eyes closed, you can hear faint crying and sniffling while you slumber.
If it makes you uncomfortable or ruins your sleep, Hantengu doesn't put two and two together, it can't possibly be him. What a travesty..!
It'd be difficult to try and make contact since he's always watching from the sidelines or cowering and hiding away, but it'll get easier eventually when it's drilled into him that you won't be like the people he's met.
He genuinely believes that the world is full of evil villains that may hurt you, so if he sees someone that worries him, the clones will zero in on them.
Hantengu has a dangerously powerful influence on them.. combine that with his victim complex? terrible.
Sometimes all Hantengu needs is a single seed of doubt to be implanted in his mind before he's lying to everyone and deluding himself that you're getting manipulated.
That's when his clones step in, scouting out the place for the possible source of the problem. That or pick off random people one by one before you're back in their arms!
But it's not his fault that you're surrounded by overprotective, suffocating freaks! Trust!!
The upside is if you meet him, he's extremely docile. He doesn't do much aside from cower and weep, begging you not to hurt him. Attempts to hide are futile if you tell him to stay... like a deer caught in headlights. ironic.
One of the others are probably always in the room, if not all of them, making your interactions even more awkward.
Once Hantengu warms up to the idea of having you know about his existence, you'd mostly find him in the pockets of your clothes or in areas where your trinkets would be strewn about.
It’s highly unlikely that he’d be violent in front of you, but that doesn't mean that the others won't be, (for his and your safety they say) Hantengu just cries about things or trembles at most with every sound making him flinch, huddling behind you in some way.
Hantengu often forgets he can go to his full height, usually being the size of your foot or smaller. If he's tiny, you'll see how he's a really harmless and defenseless victim of the world!
Nevermind how you sometimes catch the scent of blood coming from your home, only to find him cowering at the scene of a crime.
Depending on your demeanor, you're either a victim like him so you MUST stick together, or you're his savior.
He feels that safety and contentment when around you, but would rather stay on the side lines than risk anything. It's as if watching you do your daily routine is his stress relief.
It's absolutely awful if you're in danger or out of his line of sight for long. No reports from one of his clones? No most recent update to your whereabouts? No one is with you to inform him!?
Full panic attacks and inconsolable babbling about how you must be dead!! The world is so cruel and awful to him!!!
These types of reactions agitate the others, making them more worried if they're also in the dark. It's possible Hantengu would use Urami to go and find you himself in these rare instances. It'd be a disaster, but at least he'd have peace of mind..
At least you don't have to worry about Hantengu being jealous though. He's pretty tame, too focused on being afraid of everything else. The others handle his jealousy for him so that he doesn't worry.
Sekido
A mixture of highly jealous and possessive type, secretly protective as well! A mean tsundere is what you usually see, if not his common form of verbal abuse if he's too worked up.
The subtle flush on his cheeks takes the edge off his words if it's directed at you even if he blames it on being red in the face with anger because of you or [x] reason.
First impressions were probably that you were extremely annoying and would suggest eating you to the others whenever a situation arose. Thankfully the others prevented that from happening.
Sekido is one out of the two who'd accidentally hurt you. He never means to, but he forgets his own strength. In the beginning, instead of trusting you to follow him, he'd grab your wrist and drag you around with him to wherever he needed to be.
You could run away when he's not looking and cause an unwanted commotion, so it's best to have you on a tight leash leading to bruising sometimes..
Out of all of them, Sekido needed the most time to warm up to you. When he'd realized he'd fallen for you, he'd already be cursing at himself for being so blind to it earlier.
It started off as moments where his irritation calmed then snowballed into a bliss he only knows if he's by your side.
You'd think he genuinely hates your guts at times. The way he gets so angry and harshly insults you can take a toll. If he senses he's cut you deep, he still won't apologize verbally.
Knowing himself, saying anything would only hurt you more, he's too rough with phrasing that it wouldn't sound genuine. How is it his fault that you're so fragile?
Sekido has too much pride, but a lot of it is in constant conflict with his love for you. It's what gets him so frustrated when thinking about it. You make him feel disgustingly mushy inside, and he wants to tear out his heart and tell it to get a grip.
He probably doesn't speak to you for a few days, instead choosing to act while you're not looking to regain favor.
Making food you'd like, inviting you to spend time indoors, buying you small gifts, and even cleaning up around your place. Wordless actions that come off as apologies for his temper that he’ll make SURE won't go unnoticed.
If you confront him, he huffs with his back towards you as if it were nothing but takes credit for it regardless.
Sure, he's the oldest, but Sekido still has his moments of immaturity like the other three. If he had it his way, he'd refuse to let anyone speak to you, almost isolating you, so his acts of service really shine through.
What if someone tries getting your favor by taking advantage of his supposed mistakes? It's extremely insulting that anyone would even dare try! Infuriating even!
The only people he'd allow you to speak with are his clones and main body. But like everything, it depends on his mood or the situation.
Is it REALLY necessary to talk to someone else when Sekido is RIGHT THERE?? No. It's not. Now shut up and eat the sweets he got you.
Sekido doesn't do PDA, but violence will always be on the table, never hesitating if someone gets near you, or looks at you too long.
He says he's the best clone to take when going out, but he’s punched too many bystanders as a warning far too many times... You're lucky if he simply verbally abuses someone until they're crying or humiliated.
You can say the handsome man with the red eyes has grown a reputation in town.
You also gain a reputation as someone who’s EXTREMELY off limits, dangerous even. While Sekido isn't as affectionate or sweet as the others, the things he lets slide when it comes to you make it obvious that you're his favorite person.
“Are you trying to die? Even insects have more survival instincts than you.” and all you did was bump into him. Sekido dusts himself off and gives you a once over, subtly making sure you're okay before he continues with whatever he was doing.
Were it anyone else, he would’ve swung his staff at them for even getting near him.
You're given special treatment because, to Sekido, you ARE special. On rare occasions, he'll even verbalize his fondness for you, even if it's worded as if he were reprimanding.
Just don't be so blind to the hints he's throwing at you and he won't have to beat your face in.. specifically your lips with his lips, very roughly, until you're both bruised and breathless.
When Sekido needs to be away from you for whatever reason, he knows you're okay. He entrusts you to the others in his absence, but his mind starts wandering to how he misses your hands on his..
It's different remembering it and seeing it, if you were there, you could touch him and he could reciprocate. It'd be even better if you were both alone—and now, someone’s interrupting his thoughts.
Frustration bubbles up and he's ready to snap at someone. What could be so damn important!?
If Sekido comes back with blood on his person, just don't ask, he's already annoyed and he's seeking solace with you.
You flip a switch in him. Your warmth, your presence, your voice, it’s like serenity to his vexed soul. He sits comfortably beside you when he has to plan for something.
It helps him think clearly but, he doesn't let go of your wrist..
His grip is unnaturally tight too, so you're stuck there unless you want to risk Sekido getting frustrated again because his personified peace wants to get up and do something, at least, that's what he says.
Even if it holds some truth, when you whittle Sekido down enough, he confesses that, in a weird way, he's constantly worried for you.
You're not as strong as them and he knows this, but it's clear as day when he's calm enough.
Not that he needs to, but Sekido takes the responsibility for not only keeping himself alive, but Hantengu and more importantly you.
If anything were to happen to you, he doesn't know what he'd do. So instead he acts as the most aggressive guard dog ever and keeps any unknown presence as far from you as possible.
Moments of peace with you don't happen often for him, so please stay a while longer? The others will barge in any minute now, so indulge him a little until then?
And don't speak a word about it to anybody or else he’ll destroy your home and everything inside it!
Karaku
Extremely self aware, obsessive type. He knows how to properly court someone, that everything they're doing crosses many lines, but this way is much more entertaining.
You were just another random face in the beginning that he just shrugs and tries to find enjoyment in by tormenting, but as he interacts more with you, he finds it more invigorating than anything else.
He starts going easier on you, opting for just teasing. Dragging you into spending time with him is surprisingly more fun than a battle lately..
Whether you like him back or not isn't even important. As long as you have SOME level of affection for him and don't forget to give him some attention, he's satisfied.
Everything is fun when it comes to you and while he'd IDEALLY like you to reciprocate his feelings and be obsessed with him, he just needs an inch for the mile he'll take!
It's not like he will actively make you hate him, but he'll definitely try coaxing you into things you might not be eager for.
I doubt there's much that can upset him in general, much less if it's you. You're so attractive and entertaining to him, all your reprimands and insults go in one ear and out the other.
He laughs and agrees to whatever you said, brushing it off, then tries nudging you into moving on and doing something that doesn't upset you! Like doing him!
O-or.. if you're not in the mood right now, that's fine. There's a bunch of other fun stuff that you two can do!
With all that, Karaku's still aware that you'd be uncomfortable with him shoving all his affection onto you, getting possessive, and even beating some people up for the hell of it.
But he also knows people can learn to get used to things they can't escape and get desensitized, so he attempts to do just that and ease you into your new life!
He's still affectionate, it's Karaku! He doesn't force you into anything too intimate. Physical touch may be his go-to, but holding you and hugging you is the most he'd do unless he gets hints that he may be allowed to do more.
Out of everyone, he's the most relaxed, which isn't saying much. If you say you're going somewhere he hears we’re going somewhere, but at least you can go near strangers without him hurting anyone.
When spending time with the others, he knows he can just butt in, or do something that'll force your attention on him. Even if people try talking to you, he's not upset, just amused.
Very confident Karaku is.. any attempt someone tries with you is hilarious to him since he knows you're likely to reject them. He only gets slightly miffed if YOU'RE the one coming onto others.
“Oi~ You're really greedy, you have all of me and yet you still want other's attention? ..How about you try convincing me a little and I won't make that much of a fuss, yeah?” as if he's not always trying to hold you in the most PDA way possible…
Karaku loves to show off how he's taken even if it makes you embarrassed. You're cute when flustered anyway so that's just another plus!
When you're gone he's sooo~ bored. It reminds him of that itch he had before he met you where life was too dull and he needed that stimulation only chaos could provide.
Unfortunately, chaos is like a storm, and the clouds dissipate eventually. So what does he do? Create his own storms, of course!
Karaku is a renowned pleasure seeker, sexual or not. Since he met you, the sexual part is reserved, so he's usually seeking fun in terms of mischief, adrenaline rushes, or destruction.
Starting problems on purpose by provoking others to the point of a fight is his favorite especially if he can blow down buildings.
Some dishonorable mentions that aren't fighting are planting gross items into bags, spreading rumors, giving false information, and turning people against one another.
Overall things that would make you regret letting him out of your sight.
Karaku likes to make himself more appealing to you by boasting about small things. It could be the bare minimum, but you wouldn't know if he's exaggerating any tiny details!
Hearing your tastes and interests will have him leaning into that, but he's not going to change himself completely.
He's confident he can worm his way into your heart by being himself.
You should give him praise sometime! He didn't tease Sekido and make him so upset he blew a fuse. And! He didn't toy with anyone’s life before killing them this time! He also only used his uchiwa twice. max. and no buildings collapsed completely..
See? He's not that bad of a guy! You should trust him more, you'll hurt his feelings..!
He's the one who will also flirt with you the most, leaving lingering touches and casually inviting you for some bedroom fun. You could be in the middle of dinner and he'd ask if you're up for it later as if it's a casual thing between you two.
This guy.. he really REALLY likes you touching him.. from his hair to his arms, to his chest, and down his legs, whatever you want is yours. But it also makes him more reserved in a way?
Someone tapping his shoulder gets him a little miffed. It's like someone is touching something of yours. Whatever, getting your hands all over him should fix that right up.
Karaku is an interesting case.. He portrays himself as an open book, but there's so much more than he lets on.
He makes mental notes of things you like and strictly hate, secretly helps balance everyone’s jealousy so you don't get burnt out, always there when you need him most, and is second to tend to you if Aizetsu isn't around.
Serious situations aren't his style, he’ll always try to be playful to lighten the mood, but you can see his ear twitch when he notices something’s wrong.
He's the second oldest after all, so he has the capability to be mature if he wants to.
But being a stick in the mud is Sekido’s job, so he works around it in his own pleasurable way!
There’s times even when he likes to take things slow and enjoy the moment with you around. Pleasure can be relaxation. While he loves being out and about, a nice quiet evening with you can be fun too.. even if he has to push you around a little too make it happen.
He likes how you make him feel whole, like he's not chasing after the unattainable satisfaction that's so close but so far.
Urogi
Intoxicated delusional type... Urogi believes you wouldn't do anything to hurt him on purpose and finds joy in your “shyness.” If you were to reject him or push him away, he laughs very loudly, “reassuring” you.
First impressions were pretty tense. He'd eye you like he's waiting for you to step wrong before feasting. Like those fangs suggest, he's a humanity's predator first and foremost and he wanted to keep it that way.
At least, he thought so until he played with his food too much and got attached.
You later begin to be like a drug to him. He NEEDS you. Whether it be within earshot, field of vision, or (preferably) within arm's reach. If not, he gets super fidgety, nervous, restless. Can't sit still.
Similar to Hantengu except he begins getting impulsive and violent with anything or anyone around the longer you're away.
Usually, he thinks twice about slicing anything with his talons when you're around, he's too happy with your attention and knows you're pretty squishy! But if you're gone, the blood splatters make him feel better!
He misses you! Come back!! There are scratches and tossed furniture everywhere because Urogi attempted to calm himself with things that smell like you. Everything's just a mess, but he at least greets you the second you get home.
Cuddly and excitable! He'd tackle you in a hug and swing you around, or cling to you with his full body until you both tip over. Urogi likes your scent and warmth.
It's comforting, so he's constantly near you and touching you, sometimes fighting with the others cause he wants his turn.
Similar to Sekido, you're like a switch that flips to excited when you make contact of any kind, so it's not uncommon to find him clamoring to sit on your lap or lay his head somewhere on you when he sees you.
Again, like Sekido, Urogi can get jealous to the same levels as him. However, whereas Sekido would be violent and aggressive, Urogi is whiny and clingy.
It's almost funny how he’s the one whose mood shifts the quickest. Even compared to Aizetsu, he's more likely to cry, or compared to Sekido, he'd lash out about something small.
But as his main emotion states, he'll always revert back to his gleeful self.
One second, he's complaining because you've been “ignoring” him for too long [three minutes] but cheers up if you so much as graze his skin, “Hahaha!! Okay, I forgive you!! Can we go out now? Oh! Oh! How about a kiss?!”
Joy may be better than when Urogi's upset, but it's still... pretty shameless like Karaku, except Urogi doesn't WANT to embarrass you on purpose.
He's got a loud voice and a one-track mind with you. Begging and asking isn't out of the realm of possibility for him either.
Something you can count on with these four is that they're honest in their feelings for you.
Urogi, being the one who's extremely raw in showing it, talks from the heart with no brain. What you see is what you get. Most of the time...
Urogi, like the others, has his moments of dishonesty, but it’s not his fault! He wants your love constantly so bends the truth about needing you in some type of way or that he was bullied!!!
He has a headache, take care of him! Oh, his left wing hurts, pet it for him, please? His feathers have been really bothering him lately, preen him? Yes, you did so yesterday, but they're bothering him again!! Also, Sekido was really mean for no reason again, stay with him so he doesn't get yelled at again!!
With how much he thrives under your attention, you'd wonder how he reacts with people who aren't you. Well, it's simple, if its not a fight, he leads back to you!
If someone ever talks to Urogi long enough there's a 90% chance he'll mention “someone” and ignore whatever they say.
When you're not the subject of the convo, he brings you up, interrupting the other's train of thought. Annoyingly so..
It gets particularly messy if he's conversing with the other three because then they'd forget about the original topic and get swept up with missing you instead.
Even the hobbies he has that aren't you, remind him of you.. in albeit concerning ways..
He likes to eat fleshy meat, but he gets reminded of how your skin feels under his hands. It'd be more flattering if he wasn't literally ripping the flesh off of something with his fangs, but he means well.
Sharing things he likes is a sign of love, right? That's why he brings you gifts! ..Like a cat bringing its owner dead mice except this cat is five foot nine and way more dangerous..
and the dead mice are limbs that can get you arrested............
It's terrifying to wake up to a mysterious blob of red meat, especially when Urogi says “It's the only thing that kinda resembles what it used to be!” but laughs in your face instead of explaining further.
A tongue was probably the most concerning thing that still had its original shape, but not surprising.
Urogi is unfortunately way too damn strong. He's the second one to accidentally hurt you after Sekido, his talons are extremely sharp and sometimes dig into you when he gets too excited. He tries not to, but even passing by he can nick you.
Bandages are difficult for him to grab with his talons, and he feels terrible afterward, so he licks your wounds clean if you let him. Sure, it won't do much, but at least your blood smells delicious, and it makes him happy tasting it!
Right, this isn't about him, right!
There's something almost innocent about how Urogi acts with you. Even if you hate his guts, he’d still treat you like treasure. He can't bring himself to hate you no matter what you do.
He’ll get annoyed at times when you're too “coy,” sure, but never more than that or for long.
He can be a handful, but you can tell he tries to give you a good happy relationship. One that he hopes makes you feel the same unending joy he feels even if it's a bit traumatic.
Aizetsu
Manipulative and stalking type. Aizetsu wants to get tasks over with as fast as possible. he doesn't have any motivation for it. He's tired and sad and wants to curl up into a ball and lay down.
First time meeting, Aizetsu didn't even spare you a glance. If you weren't food or a threat, then you might as well have been a poor wall or weird tree.
Giving him a taste of pampering is probably what slowly melted his cold walls.
Now that he has you, it's strange. He WANTS to get up and do things with you. The weight on his shoulders isn't as heavy when you're around. He wants to keep you near him always and if he has to be pathetic to do that, then he'll do it.
Sending cute sad glances your way, sighing after each word as if its tiring to breathe, constantly leaning or holding onto your clothes, whatever makes him look like he'd die without you is what he'll do.
Aizetsu is more than capable like the other three if not the most. it's just that he doesn't need to do it, so he doesn't want to.
He purposely makes himself out like he's the “good” one, but he's just quieter. Unlike Karaku's boasting, Aizetsu wants you to see the worst in others so it makes himself look better by comparison.
Making others or himself seem pathetic is his strong suit, sometimes making his counterparts the brunt of that pity.
That or he takes a page out of Karaku's handbook and stirs the pot so they do the job for him. Sometimes they involve Aizetsu if they find out which makes him sad...
He pouts, looking at his counterparts fighting, and tells you how it's such a pity you're stuck with a rowdy bunch like them while knowing full well that he muttered something under his breath about Karaku mocking Sekido to make Urogi laugh while passing by.
It didn't happen, but it could've... it's okay, just stay with Aizetsu on the sidelines while they tucker themselves out.
Speaking of that, Aizetsu seldom lets you go. Like the others, he loves touching you, but the others let go eventually from some form of hyperactivity.
Aizetsu.. doesn't. His hand is always firmly grasping some part of your clothes while you walk, but if you're not using your arm, he'll hold that for you too.
You can try shaking him off, but it really wouldn't do anything except make him frown and grip tighter. You could ditch your clothes, it'll stun him for a moment until he's pouting again, but he’ll let you go.
Unfortunately you probably won't get your discarded clothes back for a while even if you apologize.
That and he’ll cling on again in five minutes if he's near. It's a force of habit.
Aizetsu's the strongest physically of the four, but tries his best to seem weak around you so you can spoil and love him more.
The second you leave him to figure out his own issues, you usually hear a loud thump then crack followed by Aizetsu's soft footsteps rushing to follow behind you.
Even with his crazy strength, he's the second least likely to spill blood.
Not because he's guilty or anything, don't be silly, but because he doesn't want to put effort into cleaning himself up, so you'll embrace him again. If you didn't care, then he'd be a bit messier.
Then again, he doesn't like how the dried blood feels in his hair, and he doubts he can get away with making you wash it for him every time.
Aizetsu is constantly upset, but he's not openly emotional aside from his usual declarations of sorrow. He doesn't cry easily, being in a constant state of sadness makes everything numb at some point, so it's something he expresses privately..
or, to persuade you into feeling bad for him further.
“Pitying others is only natural, but don't forget you have someone waiting for you always. I'd wither away without you.” He says that, but the others never see him waiting for anything when you're out.. Why? Because he never leaves you.
Sometimes you think you see a blue reflection from the corner of your eyes, but you check and nothing. Feeling like you're watched has been a constant lately since meeting the clones. Hopefully, it's just nerves.
But it's not!
Behind wall corners, in the shadows, amongst crowds, in closets, Aizetsu's always there. Watching with that same sorrowful pout. As mentioned earlier, he doesn't feel demotivated when doing things for you.
He's making sure you're safe and gathering more information. He wants to be precise when around you. How are you when you think they're not around? He'll find out. He always does.
Not that you notice much... He doesn't throw tantrums when you need to part from him like the others, only simple, “Really? Where are you going..?” and that's all for protesting. He's the “good one,” remember? He won't stop you.
Aizetsu gets a little sloppy with hiding his hobby(?) when he doesn't react to the new things and stories you intended to tell him. As if listening to a story again.
He's lucky he doesn't speak much or he would've filled in the details of the story you forgot about.
The downside of following you is that Aizetsu gets approached sometimes. Annoying... He's so gloomy, that he's sometimes approached by kind bystanders to check up on him.
He doesn't speak to anyone as much anymore, only responding with nods and head shakes unless he's pitying someone. He's only “chatty” with you and his clones, more so you.
A tired look crosses his face when someone's being particularly bothersome. Say, the authorities or an insistent stranger for example.
If you were with him, he'd look at you to fix it, but since you're not, he'll handle it himself. i.e. a precise swift jab to the throat that'll get them to keel over long enough for him to scamper somewhere else.
Zohakuten
Conflicting love hating attention seeker.. He can't help but hate how your mere presence makes the others and himself worse versions of themselves, but he can see why. Having your attention is like basking in the warmth of the sun again..
He rarely shows up, only when the four are panicked and desperate, but the first time is probably extremely tense........ he'd reprimand you for screwing up the minds of his clones and scaring the main body constantly.
He doesn't separate, wanting to see what the big deal is. Having Zohakuten follow you around or dragging you places while getting insulted, you're mostly babysitting him at this point.
He may not be a child in the usual sense, but he definitely uses his appearance to benefit himself. Big eyes, grumpy frown with his chubby cheeks and that usually gets people to believe him if he's lucky.
It's whiplash inducing when Zohakuten's face and way of speaking don't match (it's easy to forget that all these freaks have the mentality of an over two hundred year old man.) He uses an older way of speaking and their inflections.
He's not free from the common ground that is wanting your attention even if he's almost always complaining that you're the source of their corruption. yet he still doesn't try getting rid of you aside from a couple insults. Though it can get annoying when he's constantly on your case.
Zohakuten is extremely defensive of the main body. Hesitating when it comes to him isn't a problem. He's like Sekido where he punches as a warning in that sense.
He's very kind with Hantengu, and surprisingly you who now falls under the category of needing protection.
Hatred is part of his nature so if you're alone with him, that hatred focuses on you, but it's mixed with affection. He only really huffs at you and occasionally tries swatting you when you get too affectionate.
He's critical of his older clone counterparts.
If there were a setting where Zohakuten coexisted with his them , he'd be very antagonistic even if it's to a lesser degree than opponents. He's going against them then complaining to you about it so you can be careful of their misdeeds!
He sees their actions as the main reason Hantengu gets bullied and falsely persecuted. they fool around too much instead of doing their job properly that it grinds Zohakuten's gears..
He'd probably call Karaku and Urogi manwhores for showing off so much skin. Sekido and Aizetsu are on thin ice but they'd still get called harlots for wearing their collars so open.
You're probably not free from his berating either but he excludes the derogatory insults.
Similar to Tanjiro in that one scene with Mitsuri, Zohakuten would grab your clothes and adjust it to be more modest. He can't have animals like those pigs looking at you!!!
That being said, Zohakuten is much more manageable compared to dealing with four smothering men.
Still.. he's less likely to listen to you and has a short fuse that can cause problems out of nothing. Plus, he's much MUCH stronger than what you'd be used to.
Luckily, there's moments when he tuckers himself out and he's quietly following you like a cat. He doesn't speak much then but glares at anything and anyone who gets too close.
He might look pettable, but don't do it or he might both claw at you and get a second wind.
It's best to stay alone with Zohakuten for as long as he's around. If someone else makes him or Hantengu upset, he'd focus his hatred into them and make up some deluded reason as to why they have to die.
They'll harm Hantengu first if they're allowed to live!! It'll be swift, but he can't promise it'll be clean.
It's pretty easy to get Zohakuten to get violent. it only really takes someone getting close to you or Hantengu until he's acting faster than you noticed he moved.
He doesn't really care if you get scared, it's all for the greater good. you're just spooked because his methods were taboo, but it's fine. Now all of you are safe..
He really likes trees and forests, so taking walks around there might be the safest bet.
Zohakuten wouldn't be as cuddly, more so because of some pride of holding himself up as the strongest pillar for Hantengu, but there are moments where he sighs and leans his head against you.
Being alone with you, Hantengu, and the peace of nature puts his mind at ease in a way it's not built for. Even his wood dragons come along, bellowing quietly and making the whole environment uncommonly calm. like he's almost a normal kid.
Serenity isn't forever of course and you must part from him eventually. It's not like he'll make it easy by any means though. His brattiness shines through here where he hides some essentials of yours that make it impossible for you to leave.
Your shoes, outdoor clothes, utilities, anything that'll make your life more difficult so you'll stay home. Yes, he knows you have a life outside, but he doesn't like it when you come home smelling different. It's concerning!
If you somehow manage to escape, you'll only see his hateful eyes from his safe spot in the darkness. Throughout the day, the occasional concern chill creeps up, and coming home reveals why.
It's a disaster. Everything is trashed and turned over in what looks to be a tornado hit. Except the tornado was just a small tyrant sulking in your bedroom. The tantrum didn't comfort him at all and all he wants is you.
When you come back, he's berating you and calling you the worst person imaginable! He grabs your arms tightly then nearly crushes your ribs in a hug.
He doesn't apologize, but helps clean up after he's done, wanting to spend time with you. It wasn't the same without you and he loathes how the difference is so tangible now.
It's unfair how he's tasked to protect you too, but now that he's met you, there's specific conditions that need to be met to be allowed to see you again. He's not here for long and people around you get to meet you whenever they'd like. it's really not fair!
Maybe after a while, Zohakuten would learn not to act first if you PROMISED to keep your interactions with others to a minimum.
Even If you don't, he'll remind you by cutting your conversation or starting an argument that'll quickly get lethal if not stopped in time.
The way this guy swears like a sailor is incredible. Very foul mouthed. He talks bad about people, even sometimes to their face. It's also painfully accurate. Zohakuten can really cut deep with his words alone.. even be problematic
so fingers crossed he doesn't slight the wrong person.
While he doesn't really need to, he tries getting you small trinkets to keep so he's with you when he's separated.
All stolen of course, or so the woman from the market says, but it's not true! he made it himself, what kind of person would spread lies like that?!
Note: Zohakuten is a platonic yandere. Like the boyfriend's bratty younger brother who likes you so he cock blocks everyone to hang out with you trope
You can try asking for help, but people have seen what they're like without you.. they're like a blender without a cap. The contents will go everywhere, and it'll be chaos. UNLESS, the blender has its cap, you.
With a heavy heart, people usually give you sympathetic glances if you ever do interact briefly and quick words of comfort if they can. at least you're well taken care of by those freaks.
i love them all theyre awful.....
Tl;Dr
Hantengu is delusional and obsessed, where he thinks you'll harm him if he gets too close, but can't stay away from you for long or else he freaks himself out Sekido is the jealous possessive mother fucker who's very rude but surprisingly gives you extremely special treatment. Karaku is the obsessed self aware one, but that's wasted because he loves causing problems on purpose and embarrassing you with love. Urogi is the Intoxicated delusional one because you gotta be delusional to be as happy as this guy.. also animalistic. Too raw about his feelings........ Aizetsu is the manipulative stalker. He acts like he's the good boy when he's just as shit as the others who also somehow knows everything about you. Zohakuten is the love-hate attention seeker. it infuriates him how you "wont leave his main body alone," but he secretly thrives on your attention and will cock block at every point and time.

Like Ik i posted my initial reaction and such to a glitch in time
But
I haven't actually sat down and given my full thoughts on it
So yeah
First off without going into Spoilers..
In my head I had alot of..not necessarily expectations but theories on what it would be like..and while I love Danny Phantom I've always been Iffy on the story continuing after Phantom Planet so I'll admit i was optimistic bur skeptical.
This wasn't at all how I expected it to come back and thats the thing i think i love the most about it.
If someone told me that Gabriella Epstein was in charge of working on the 1st 2 seasons of the original cartoon I would've completely believed them because her writing felt EXACTLY like how the show was back then. Even with modern slang added in at no point did the dialog feel cringe or anything like that it just flowed naturally.
Which i appreciate.
What I really love about it tho is the fact that it allowed ghosts to BE ghosts, not Monsters from another dimension or whatever they're actual manifestations of human emotion and spirits which makes Danny's decision at the end feel even more powerful because he really is connected to both worlds even more than he initially realized.
I love that they gave the ghost zone lore made it feel like an actual ethereal place.
NOW onto the spoiler parts
The character arcs specifically Danny,Dan,Vlad and Valerie.
It's very easy to have a character like Vlad in particular be like "The Disasteroid event made me realize how much of a fool I've been" and just end his arc there. But they didn't go that route throughout the comic we actually see that Vlad is still an asshole despite regretting some of his actions he's still NOT a good guy but we gradually see that through spending time with Danny and seeing how his anger and rage fueled Dan,that he really has been a fool he really isn't a bad guy he was just hurt, alone and damaged he lost control.Vlads whole thing is that because he feels he lost everything he tries to rule as a way to feel in control..not a very healthy method but what can u do.
Dan despite being a grown man physically is just a scared kid. Here we have a version of Danny who lost everything and corrupted by Vlad's ghost half decided that through Domination and control he wouldn't lose anything anymore now this Danny meets his younger self who is not only desperately trying to prevent himself from ever becominf like him but he succeeds! Now This younger Danny has pretty much the perfect life a family who accepts him, friends who love him and is accepted fully by the world while Dan lost his timeline and now doesn't belong anywhere. He lost everything and now taking from others is the only way he can feel in control sounds Very similar to another half/ghost we know.He and Vlad are truly Kindred Spirits and they are the only people who can truly help each other.
Danny going from hunting ghosts to accepting that ghosts are just as much people as humans are and that maybe he shouldn't only defend one side of the spectrum that humans are just as evil as ghosts and ghosts can be just a human as humans and him deciding to be the bridge between both in what i like to call (Avatar Wan Moment) perfectly ties his character together. And it's even reflected in his relationship with Dan and Vlad throughout the book, even after all that Danny still doesn't trust Vlad he doesn't even like Vlad BUT he acknowledges that not only could he not do it without Vlad but Vlad is actively trying to change possibly for the better and him acknowledging that Dan is just a scared kid at his very core just like he once was is *chefs kiss.
Valerie might come as a shock because alot of people felt that she wasn't that much utilized in this story but i feel like that's for a reason. Since Phantom Planet first happened I've always wondered what Valerie's feelings on Danny being phantom was and we kinda got a glimpse into that here ..we see that when she thought Dan was Danny she fulling believed that he had turned on them..like despite her previous relationship with Danny she still views him as a possible threat and that by itself looks like something she'll for sure have to deal with in the future.
Aside from that
The art was beautiful like i cannot keep talking about how pretty it looked. Like my only gripe with it is that the character designs/outfits weren't updated but i can live with that
The story was very well written and felt straight out of Season 2
And even excluding all of the other things i mentioned, it was just a fun read..like at no point did i feel bored or drained while reading it
11/10 for sure

Of course! And thank you <3 The way I wrote this, they don't speak due to the emotional trauma of being brought back to life by Asra. Reactions under the cut. Warnings for alcohol consumption, depression, pet death (implied/discussed, nothing is described,) panic and anxiety. Otherwise SFW. I asked myself "what would have to happen for them to take this step?" A n g s t  followed by fluff. Long post ahead (this got a little out of hand 😅 ). It took ages because they basically turned into mini fics, but I hope it was worth it.
Valerius
He was like that for days. You didn't know what to do. The once-talkative Consul was so distant, so silent, that you even missed his rage-fueled rants about the affairs of the court and the scorn of his fellow courtiers. An almost palpable bitterness was hanging around for nearly two weeks now, and there was nothing you could do - all the stress of his position, all the underhanded schemes of his rivals finally got under his skin. You knew that the Consul felt alone - but there was little you could do without breaking your silence. It seemed like all your kind gestures, all your dedicated care went unnoticed. So now, returning late from the market and quietly cursing the errands that kept you so long past nightfall, you almost feared what you'd find at the Consul's estate. When you pushed open the double doors and seen the guards standing at the sides glance away with discomfort, and when you heard the sound of breaking glass somewhere far in the estate - you knew exactly what you'd find, and your heart seized within your chest. Softly, you approached his study; nudging an abandoned, half-empty, very expensive bottle of wine out of the way. You weren't prepared for what awaited you inside, however. It wasn't the drink - it couldn't have been the drink, for the Consul hadn't had enough - but still you found him curled up, sitting on the floor under his own resplendent-looking portrait. He couldn't have been more different than his immovable likeness, immortalized in paint. Where the painting depicted him calm, the epitome of poise, not a hair out of place and richly embroidered robes immaculately clean, the person under the portrait was the stark opposite of this. His long hair was, for once, unbraided and disheveled, hanging like an ombre curtain around his too-gaunt face. He raised his eyes to yours, and tried in vain to look like his cheeks were not tear-stained. A glass of wine was by his side, abandoned. The ruby liquid glistened like jewels under the candlelight, but the Consul paid no attention to it. So, you were right. It wasn't the drink. "Have you come to let me know you will be leaving?" his words were surprisingly sharp, painted with biting bitterness. "Will you also abandon me?" He looked at you for a moment longer, his eyes lingering on your voiceless lips, before he looked away. "Oh, what does it matter?" He grabbed the glass, drank deep of it, then flung it across the room, where it shattered. "It is what I deserve." That cut you deeper than his half-hearted accusations, his sorrow-laced bitterness. You took a step closer, then knelt to be able to wrap your arms around the Consul. He did not return your embrace, but neither did he push you away. Knowing you wouldn't answer - you never did - he continued in that same bitter tone: "It does not matter. It would be better if you left. You deserve better. Better than me." You could feel his breath catch in his throat, but the Consul was too proud to let you see him shed tears. "Why? Why are you even staying?" He did not expect an answer, but none the less you gave him one - the first words spoken in a long, long time. They might as well be those words. They might as well be the truth. "I love you." His entire body froze. For a long moment, he was motionless, his eyes wide with shock, boundless joy slowly waking in their depths as the meaning of your words - your words - finally, finally sank in. "I love you," you whispered again, knowing he needed to hear it, and his arms locked around you in an embrace so tight it was almost painful, like he was afraid you'd slip away with those words, like a dream forgotten before waking. But you wouldn't, never again. And you would dream together now.
Valdemar
You weren't sure why they picked you. A year now that you've been Valdemar's apprentice, and you're still not sure why they picked you. Perhaps it was the way you paid attention to everything they did - perhaps it was the way you've learned to carry out their instructions to the letter. Or perhaps it was that you never spoke, and could thus be trusted to keep all their secrets. Even the... unsavory ones. Things like how they never slept and never seemed to eat, things like how they could keep focus throughout the night, long after the candles burned out - and how they could still work on their experiments with perfect precision after the room had been plunged into absolute darkness. You've learned a lot about them, during your time at their side. And you've learned a lot about yourself. Spending time with the Quaestor, you've learned how others avoided them. It wasn't usual dislike, no; it was conversations ceasing when they'd walk into the room - you dutifully trailing behind, carrying their notes - it was frightened glances and hushed words and no one wanting to be left alone with the Quaestor. No one but you. Yes, you've learned a lot about yourself, too. It was a typical evening; they were preparing to spend the night working in the dungeons, and you followed with a stack of notes in your arms, their toolcase resting atop the pile of paper. That evening, however, the assistant doctors didn't hear you approach, and you managed to hear a snippet of their conversation. "-some sort of an abomination. I swear to you, their eyes-" "Yes, well, anything to obtain a cure, right?" A heavy sigh. "I do wish we didn't have to work under this- this thing." Valdemar stopped, and you had to react swiftly not to collide with their tall, lean frame. An unspoken (as always) worry in your eyes, you looked up to see their face. In the semi-darkness of the corridor their crimson eyes seemed almost luminous; and, for once, their calculated ferocity was absent. Just for a split second, but the open expression on their face was shocking. Valdemar looked the most human since you've met them, almost sad, their lips twitching to form some soundless word before they shook their head, like they were chasing away the annoyance of any thought other than science. The word they mouthed was "thing." Their everpresent calm had slipped for just a moment, but for you it was a sight that shook you to your very core; like lightning, like a wildfire, some unfamiliar and all-consuming thing, something you were powerless before. Their humanity. So you did something unthinkable. You extended a hand and placed it, softly, on their arm. The leather of their glove was smooth and cold. Their crimson eyes fixed on your fingers, then followed up your arm to your face. And for the first time since then, you spoke; a simple truth that could no longer be denied. "I love you." It was a coarse whisper, only little louder than the echoing silence and the retreating footsteps of those who called them a thing. But it was enough. Valdemar's elegant, gloved hand rested atop your own. For the briefest of moments, you could swear their lips curled into a ghost of a smile entirely bereft of cruelty. For the briefest of moments, those brilliant crimson eyes answered your vow, as clearly as if they'd shouted it. Your steps full of newfound certainty, you followed those twin crimson flames into the dark.
Volta
The resplendent feast was spread before the Procurator, yet she cared little for it. Of course, the gnawing hunger in the depths of her being cared very much, but sometimes she could almost, almost imagine herself as a separate being - but when she did, when she tried to shut out that ravenous void, what remained in its place was fear. Terrible, overwhelming fear, the kind that made sweat bead on her brow and her hands curl involuntarily into fists - as if she could ever defend herself, as if she were anything at all without that bottomless chasm that fed and fed and fed never to be sated. That chasm would eat her fear, eat her doubts, devour anything that threatened her, reacting as raw instinct would. Sometimes she almost believed it was something different, something separate from her. But without it, she would be left alone with her fear. Well... not entirely alone. You sat with her then, holding her hand in yours, the words of encouragement that you wanted to say never leaving your silent lips, but present there on your face - or at least you hoped so. The Procurator was always grateful for your company; she always seemed genuinely happy to see you and reluctant to part from you. She always paid attention in a way not many did, always noticing the minuscule changes in your expression, your stance, the subtle shift of your emotion. Her own heart, her own decisions always matched, without fail. She looked to you for so many things. By then, you were so used to her mismatched eyes studying your face, following the movement of your hands, that it was wrong seeing her like this, listless, her gaze lost and vacant, her breaths shallow. You knew what this was. When Volta was like this, she was struggling - with memory, with fear, with that void you knew was inside her but which neither of you ever addressed or acknowledged. You grabbed the nearest dish - the gilded edge of the plate catching candlelight, tempting candied pears carefully arranged on it, slathered with whipped cream and garnished with sugar flowers. One of a dozen or so different desserts on the table before her. Carefully, you placed it in front of the Procurator. She didn't react. It happened more and more often, and you could do nothing to stop the fear from rising in you too - the fear that one day, that void she fought so hard to contain, to satisfy, to control - will expand to swallow all that you know and love, leaving nothing but a ravenous shell. Know and love. Suddenly, the answer was there, your weapon against that creeping void; but it required of you courage you weren't sure you possessed. The courage to care more for what was ahead than that which you left behind you. You felt an involuntary shiver that ran through her, her hand growing colder in yours. You had to make a choice, between your past... and your future. And fixing your eyes on that future, on its own mismatched eyes, you drew a breath and made your choice. "Volta... I love you." It was little more than a whisper, but the moment it left your - until then silent - lips, Volta's gaze focused on your face. Her breath caught, a soft blush coloring her cheeks. "You... you..." she mumbled, her lips stretching into a smile; she blinked, as the meaning of your words slowly sank in. "Oh! Oh, but I love you too!" She flung her arms around you, hugging you with unparalleled enthusiasm. "So, so much." You could almost feel it - perhaps your magic could - how she allowed that warm, overwhelming tide to drown out the ravenous void. At least for the time being. But next time, she will not have to fight her battles alone. Neither of you will.
Vlastomil
The Praetor didn't mind that you never spoke. Still, he'd often talk to you, holding one-sided conversations as he told you about his day, about the court, checking every couple of moments to make sure that you were still interested and that he still held your attention. You got so used to one another - to this other, to the comforting, distracting presence, him never minding your silence and you never minding his seemingly ceaseless and idle words - that it broke your heart to see him like this. Gasping for air, tears flowing freely down his cheeks, hands balled into fists so tightly that his nails nearly drew his own blood. And before him, a grave. In the garden, in the shade of the pink rosebush - the perfect resting place for his beloved pet. Only one of many, but he loved them all so very sincerely. It was her time, and you knew this, but the Praetor was inconsolable. You approached quietly, nearly on tiptoe, not wishing to disturb the Praetor in his sorrow. As if your silence ever could. Perhaps he'd like to be alone, but you found it hard to believe that - being by his side felt like two halves of a whole finally clicking together, you and him against the world, one and the same, like the sun and the moon. And much like the stars and planets, the friendship between the two of you was an intricate dance, the steps of which you knew by heart, but those steps would never be written down... or spoken of. He let out a shuddering breath, glancing towards you from the corner of his eye before his silvery gaze returned to the solemn scene before you, vacant and listless. "No one- No one will ever care like they do," he spoke - unashamed to speak his heart before you as you would be before him, had you been able to speak. But the shadows of that night still loomed tall, robbing you of breath and words. "I can never... They're all I have," he finished, miserably, his voice brimming with sorrow. You understood. You always understood. The Praetor was not a... well-liked man. In fact, all he had was his pets... and you. And now, he lost one of those things. But the other... Your throat constricted around the words, so used to silence, but you knew the truth of them before they ever left your lips in that shaky whisper. "I... I love you." Vlastomil turned to you, his face alight with such a terrifying amount of hope, such open longing, that it almost burned you. But instead of taking a step back from that flame, you took a step forward. A leap of faith. Vlastomil's arms wrapped around you, enveloping you in the soft scent of lavender clinging to his robes, the softness of silk, his golden buttons cold against your skin but his embrace the very opposite. He had no words in return; only sobs escaped his lips as he buried his face in your hair and held you tightly, but those were no longer sounds of sorrow, but instead those of relief. He was no longer alone. Neither of you would ever be alone again.
Vulgora
On days like this, everyone would flee. They found something that awakened their ire, and soon there would be nothing but ruin around them, only the remnants of an ordered world, the hallways littered with crushed marble and broken glass. Everyone would flee, and Vulgora would walk those hallways like an avenging spirit - and perhaps they were one - only their own footsteps and their own voice echoing in the empty rooms. Not that your own voice could ever be heard, anyway. On those days you thought you were much like Vulgora was, right then - an echo of something else - only you were silent, your rage just as your sorrow and your love; voiceless as theirs had never been. Once alone, Vulgora would talk to themself, mutter their curses and spit their rage in twisted promises, never, never, never getting a reply because no one dared to face them, no one dared to face the demon. It was fair, because only you could ever be certain that you would never, ever be harmed. So that left the two of you, like ghosts in the empty hallways, they the heart of rage and you the heart of silence. Sometimes, you'd wish that you could soothe them, you wished that you could tell them that they were not alone; but no words would come, and the shadow of that fateful day never left you. Not even Vulgora's rage could chase away the chill of death that haunted you, its terrifying simplicity robbing you of breath and voice. What was there left to say, after one went through death? There was one thing you wished you could say, one single, final secret that not even death could steal; a secret you kept close, locked within your chest along with the words that would never come again. This day is no different; once more, everyone has fled, and once more Vulgora roams their halls until their rage had drunk its fill of destruction, and once more you are fearless for you alone know that the Pontifex would never, ever lay a hand on you. You approached the ballroom, listening for their footsteps, for the crunch of porcelain, of metal and glass, and for their lonesome words laced with anger when the echo of them brimmed only with loneliness. No one was foolish enough to place their hand in the fire. No one was foolish enough to allow Vulgora into their heart. No one but you. You alone found that you cannot be burned; you alone found that their flame lacked any heat - being instead the terrible, horrifying cold. It was terrible, in a way, to know the truth about the Pontifex. Where everyone saw rage, you alone could see how the vessel of that rage suffered. "Alone. They are all afraid of you." Their voice. Vulgora. You took a step closer, listening to their muttered words - their rage had drained away, then. "Alone. No one to challenge you, no one would dare. No one to fight. No one to talk to..." They were talking to themself, as they sometimes would, after their fits of anger emptied their estate of all other living souls. A thought struck you. Their triumph must be just as terrible as it was exhilarating - to be so feared meant to be utterly alone. They did not know you were there, so they continued, their voice hoarse from shouting and more than a little alike a growl for that. It hurt you, to hear that, but still it was not enough to break your silence. Instead, you took a step through the door, revealing your presence to the Pontifex, carefully evading the broken porcelain under your feet. They blinked, their eyes like molten gold settling on you. They inclined their head to the side, as if they had trouble understanding. But it was simple - you did not flee. You had no reason to. They circled you slowly, like they were trying to understand - no, accept - that you were there. "You're here, you're here," they muttered. "But why are you here?" Perhaps, it was time for them to learn the truth. You took a deep breath, and tried again. One, final time. "I- I... love you." Their golden eyes widened, a look of utter shock on their face, before their lips twisted in a wide, sharp grin. You could only gasp as you were lifted and spun around, Vulgora's triumphant laughter carrying through the empty halls that only moments ago echoed with their rage. But their voice wasn't the only one echoing through these halls; no longer - never again.

ZODIAC ANALYSIS FT. TODOROKI FUYUMI, PART ONE : SUN, MOON, AND RISING.
the sun  /  the basic personality:  sagittarius.   “ restless, cheerful, and friendly, sun in sagittarius people are generally on the go. they have a love of freedom, and a disdain for routine. generally quite easygoing, sagittarians make friends with people from all walks of life. they love to laugh and tease, and get along well with pretty much anyone, regardless of social factor. sagittarians have an often blind faith in people, and in the world. their optimism is infectious, although it can get them into trouble from time to time. these are curious people who love to learn. their idealistic nature is hard to miss. although generally easygoing, sagittarius is a fire sign. this gives natives a generally quick temper. fortunately, they’re usually as quick to forget what got them angry in the first place. the need for escape is generally strong, and some solar sagittarians come across as a little irresponsible. they’re generally easy to forgive, however. after all, their direct, honest approach in life is admirable. ”
sagittarius is a fire sign :    “ like fire itself, fire signs tend to be passionate, dynamic, and temperamental. fire can keep you warm, or it can do great destruction. while fire burns out quickly without fuel to keep it going, it can also regenerate its power from the ashes. a single spark can set off a forest fire. as a result, fire signs need to be nurtured and managed carefully. ”
it’s also a mutable sign :   “ these signs end every season—and have learned the hard lessons taught by spring, summer, fall and winter. they know that all good things come to an end, and their role is to prepare everyone for the changing of seasons. mutable signs are the adapters of the zodiac, a little bit older and wiser. more flexible and comfortable with change than other signs, they can “chameleon” themselves to fit into a variety of situations. mutables are also the editors of the zodiac—the ones who complete the package with a winning touch. a plan can be sparked by a cardinal sign, built by a fixed sign, then perfected with the critical eye of a mutable sign. ”
at first glance, fuyumi doesn’t seem like much of a sagittarian. she’s not exactly adventurous or ‘ free ’ - tied down to her family, stuck in that house as she is - but i’d say there’s still a lot of points that agree with her personality: optimistic, cheerful, the need for escape. as a fire sign, she’s oddly very subdued - but mutability fits her quite well, i think; unlike her brothers, she’s welcome to the changes her father tries to make to himself, and i think the specific phrase “chameleon themselves” is interesting - because fuyumi has and does... pretty much exactly that.
it does start to make more sense when you look at it in combination with her moon sign, the libra.
the moon  /  deepest needs, habits and reactions, emotions:  libra.   “ emotional equilibrium is the ultimate goal for those born with the moon in libra or the 7th house. on your best days, you are calm and centered, so much so that people might mistake your serenity for indifference. [...] with the sign of the scales directing your feelings, you simply like to take your time. every option must be carefully weighed and deliberated. rushing into decisions gives you major anxiety. before you can move ahead, you want to check out a situation from every possible angle. a die-hard romantic, love is all you need [...] compromise is usually the goal for this moon sign. [...] A natural peacekeeper, you have a talent for calming “difficult” people. [...] this gift can be a double-edged sword, leading you down the slippery slope to enabling or codependence—especially if you had a turbulent childhood. some relationships aren’t meant to be mended, at least not by you alone. It’s difficult for this moon sign to let go and watch people struggle. Interfering can leave you shouldering a heavy burden and might even stall people’s emotional growth and maturity. ”
SOUNDS MUCH MORE LIKE HER. fuyumi is obviously all about compromise - and the lines about a turbulent childhood, difficulty letting people struggle, and that interfering can leave them with a heavy burden / stunting another’s emotional growth... wow. fuyumi with endeavor much?
fuyumi is resistant to change here, in the sense of change AROUND her. while as a sagittarius, she can easily change HERSELF to suit the needs of others.
ascendant ( rising )  /  the mask, ‘ the persona adopted from family conditioning ’ : cancer. “ these people come across as gentle creatures. there’s something familiar about them — they’re the guy or gal next door. when [...] because they are rather sensitive to their environment, they can get flustered easily, especially in public. their first instinct, when threatened or on unfamiliar ground, is to protect themselves. when new situations present themselves, they can immediately withdraw or act shy. generally, these people come across as caring people. They seem quite sweet — even innocent. usually, these people appear unassuming enough to be quite approachable. some cancer ascendants, however, have retreated into themselves so much as to be quite the opposite. [...] in some cases, cancer ascendant people can surprise their partners. why? because they come across as rather unassuming, family-oriented people. ”
“ you appear gentle and soft, and you act rather reserved with others until you know them well and feel it is safe to be open with them. you have a strong need for emotional security and a sense of belonging, and are deeply attached to the past: your heritage, roots, family, cherished friends, familiar places, etc. making radical changes or moves away from what is known and safe can be very painful and difficult for you. you tend to cling and hold on to people, memories, possessions of personal or sentimental significance. having a home, a safe haven, is very important to you. ”
“ you carry the qualities of and in some way embody the archetype of the mother. you will find that you attract people who need care, understanding and encouragement. [...] you are very sympathetic in both the sense that you feel for others and also in the sense of “sympathetic resonance”. your own feelings and moods will often reflect the dominant feeling tone in your environment. you absorb the atmosphere around you and thrive in surroundings that are home-like, personal, supportive, and cooperative. when out of balance you are hypersensitive to hurts and slights, are prone to extreme moodiness, worry, and self-pity, and/or feel like an insatiable needy child yourself. self-nurturing and self-responsibility are thus extremely important for you to develop in order to bring out your best. ”
“ the most noticeable feature of the cancer rising person is the round, moon-shaped face. people who have cancer rising also have a tendency to put on weight, especially in the hip area. the legs tend to be short and stocky. the cancer rising female tends to be nicely curved. ”
so this one. This One. makes me sad. and obviously there’s a lot here, but i think it’s rlly important to note - the rising sign is shaped by family conditioning, and fuyumi has been shaped into a mother. like. what more can i say - each of these is pretty self-explanatory... and i also like that it matches her appearance to LIKE WOW THIS ONE JUST. HITS HOME
AND NOW HOW IT INTERACTS W/ THE OTHERS.
sun sun & libra moon. “ when dealing with others, they are very understanding and inspiring. these natives hate confrontations and most of the time are the ones who bring the peace. that’s why they are more prone to making compromises. not to mention how tolerant and open to new opinions they can be. ”
libra moon & cancer rising. “ your moon in libra suggests that you were “born to be mild” and a peacemaker. you also carry a deep feeling for beauty and part of your function in the world is to bring graciousness, sweetness and beauty into it. the tendency to avert or avoid conflict can be a strength or a deficit. ”
sun sun & cancer rising. “ the character of a person with the sun in sagittarius and the ascendant in cancer is too emotional with respect to others, which in fact does not correspond to their inner, spiritual core. so they often live in conflict either with themselves or with others. if they behave good-naturedly and affably, they then find themselves uncomfortable; if they make demands, they run into resistance. ”
like. her whole chart is just. “i want everyone to get along please stop fighting” NGDKJMFSDGZLFSD NO WONDER SHE FUCKIN ACTS THE WAY SHE DOES

Critic's Notebook: 'The Man in the High Castle' Is So Good Now Because It's So Real Now October 31, 2018 by Tim Goodman
With a new showrunner and heightened Trump-era relevancy, Amazon's most popular original series is now must-see TV.
Even if nothing else were involved in the equation, Amazon's The Man in the High Castle would be an interesting test case for the streaming era. Whipsawed by creator upheaval at the show level and executive upheaval at the network level, could a series find an audience simply by enduring and benefiting from the slow discovery rate of the Peak TV era?
But there's something much more interesting about the show that can't be overlooked now that its third season has dropped: It is by far the best and most consistently ominous drama of the Trump era. With its new run of episodes, the series seems to have leaned into the darkness of the unmistakable parallels between its fictional dystopia and the real world. Unexpectedly, but with massive emotional impact given the recent tragedy of the mass shooting of Jews in Pittsburgh, it has now become even more relevant.
The series, based on Philip K. Dick's alternative history novel of the same name, envisions a world where the United States lost World War II and the country is divided, with Nazi Germany running most of the East Coast and Middle America and, on the other side of a small neutral zone, Japan running the West Coast. There's a small resistance movement that suffers relentless defeats, for the most part, but which maintains its motivation and optimism through an underground film reel showing that the Allies actually won the war.
-----------------
Then came Trump.
Depending on where you fall on the political spectrum — and if you're in the Trump camp, you're not going to like where this is going — the resulting horror show that fractured this country even further was a daily dose of depressing headlines that hasn't abated. The culture war that existed well before Trump's election has never been more divisive. But the series that I once hoped would spring up as logical (and necessary) counterpoints to the onslaught of Trump tweets, stunning revelations of foreign interference in American affairs, possible treasonous acts and the rising tide of nationalism never really materialized. Oh, there were countervailing voices, mostly in late-night comedy, that were having a field day, but as for scripted television, not much was delivered. (Season one of The Handmaid's Tale was often and erroneously seen as a reaction to Trump, but it was created before his election, so it was more a matter of accidental timing — though season two clearly leaned into some of the more totalitarian parallels, along with the main theme of female oppression.)
Clearly sensing an opportunity, The Man in the High Castle has smartly seized the moment to align itself in a more pronounced way with the fear, despair and, increasingly, the sense that a change to the narrative of horror might actually be on the horizon. It's a creative decision that's so keenly right as to seem like the most obvious thing to do, but it also comes after a period when the creative dynamics of the show were in such peril that it operated without series creator and showrunner Frank Spotnitz, who stepped away during production of season two. A staggering 22-month delay unfolded before the Oct. 5. third-season premiere. In that sense, new showrunner Eric Overmyer (The Wire, Treme, Bosch) is now presiding over a long-delayed bid to expand the reach and influence of a series (whose core audience is large enough that Amazon already has renewed it for a fourth season).
It might be the perfect time for anyone who hasn't seen it to start the catch-up process. There's no denying that the new season is an often painful allegory of our times. The massacre in Pittsburgh came just three weeks after the start of a season that contains a story arc about Jews being hunted down — not just by the Nazis in charge but also by their propaganda-fueled citizen followers. The fourth episode, "Sabra," in which Jewish worshippers practice their faith under the guise of a Catholic church in the neutral zone, and sixth episode "History Ends," which contrasts rising Nazi power with a lovely, delayed bar mitzvah, are particularly provocative and difficult to watch. But this third season, as mentioned, also stirs with more hope than the previous two.
The 22-month delay between the essentially pre-Trump second season and the mid-Trump world of season three makes for a startling revitalization of the series. I can't think of a previous situation where a TV series reinvented itself so unexpectedly and late in the game. As of this month, the show seems almost revolutionary

Acceptance | Chapter 6
Tumblr media
Previously:  PROLOGUE - CHAPTER 1 - CHAPTER 2 - CHAPTER 3 - CHAPTER 4 - CHAPTER 5
CHAPTER 6
It had already been a week since Jurina had last met Gekikara and, when she stepped in The Blue Moon that Saturday evening, felt terribly torn on the best way to address what had transpired between them. The stripper hadn’t been shy to invite her out for a drink and, after leaving the Furukawa Lounge Bar, even bluntly made her advances out in the open, the heated kiss they had shared in that alley a memory impossible to erase.
Since her arrival at the club, Gekikara had been swamped with work and, they hardly had the opportunity to exchange a few words, that she had been forced to already leave her table, her presence being requested by a young and eager boy for a private lap dance upstairs. Tonight, Jurina could sense something was wrong with her and she was not in a right state of mind when the familiar view of the older girl flirting with others sparked an unusual flame of jealousy in her.
Gekikara’s current success shouldn’t have come as a surprise. As soon as Jurina had fell under the charm of her natural beauty and spellbinding performance, she had predicted the new dancer would refine her technique in no time, and would attract a solid basis of regular clients as she would gain more experience. However, never until today had she felt such a negative emotion emerging inside her.
In the past, she often felt a tinge of disappointment when, as they were having a pleasurable conversation, Gekikara would all of a sudden have to leave her side to join another client. Despite it, she certainly never held it against her or felt abnormally envious of others, grasping that she was merely performing her duties. Not only were other customers in their perfect right to ask for her favors, she also needed to make a living. Already, Jurina was grateful the older girl was generous enough to accept spending time in her company, when she barely earned any money with her.
So why wasn’t she thinking rationally tonight?
In reality, it was still hard for her to wrap her head around the possibility that Gekikara perceived her as more than a random customer, and that moment of intimacy between them truly held some significance. The dancer had affirmed without detour her interest in her, nevertheless a part of her couldn’t help doubting the sincerity of her words. What if it was solely an impulsive gesture, done on the spur of the moment?
Gekikara seemed in full possession of her faculties when she had pushed her against the wall and brought their lips together, but this unbelievable evening made little sense to her. The invitation. The flirtatious behavior. The unforeseen confession. The passionate kiss. If Jurina had had more alcohol in her system, she would have convinced herself she had imagined the whole thing.
Jurina let out a heavy, despondent sigh. She had absolutely no idea what to expect when she entered The Blue Moon two hours ago, but the evening had taken an unpredictable and unpleasant turn. For the third time, she waved to the female waitress, pointing at her empty bottle of beer once she had successfully gotten her attention. “Another one, please,” she asked when the girl approached.
“Jurina, don’t you think…”
The young Anna had always been very sweet to her, but if there’s anything she wasn’t, it was subtle when it came to expressing her emotions. Judging by her troubled look and reluctance to take her order, it wasn’t hard to guess she was most likely not approving her decision of ordering a third bottle of beer. Another day, she may have felt touched by the waitress’ thoughtful attention but tonight, she frankly couldn’t care any less.
She urgently needed to find a way to quiet down that annoying and unhealthy feeling that arose each time she observed Gekikara interacting ever so casually with potential prospects, and alcohol appeared the most promising solution right now.
“Another Kirin,” Jurina repeated, this time with more insistence.
Jurina could almost see the gears turning within the waitress’ head as she stared at her for a few, pregnant seconds, probably asking herself if it was wise or not to accept, and if she shouldn’t instead try and take her out of it. Visibly, her determination conveyed the appropriate message as the waitress nodded silently, a small, awkward smile plastering her features when she walked away.
Instinctively, Jurina’s eyes fell back on Gekikara, watching her as she was occupied with a customer a few tables away. It was one of her regulars – Jurina recognized easily the salary man chatting with her – and she was aware the stripper had nothing to fear from the inoffensive short, dark-haired middle-aged man. Despite it, it didn’t prevent her from feeling awfully insecure at the scene she was witnessing, discomfort growing inside her at each smile they shared, and every touch initiated by the dancer.
In a few minutes, there was no doubt they were going to head upstairs. The man’s positive reactions to Gekikara’s powerful charm were a clear indication that her seductive tricks were working wonderfully on him. When the older girl leaned to whisper something in his ear, Jurina couldn’t take it anymore and looked away, grabbing firmly the new bottle of Kirin in front of her.
As she brought it to her lips and took a few, long sips, she gradually came to the realization that the beverage wasn’t having the desired effect. It was now her third beer, and she wasn’t feeling any better than when she had first entered the club. Worse, she now dreaded the alcohol could have had the opposite effect, and been adding fuel to that inappropriate feeling of enviousness.
Jurina lowered slowly her bottle on the table. It’s all my fault. I should never have let her kiss me, Jurina admonished herself. I should have pushed her away, and never kissed her back. What was I… What on earth was I thinking?
Now, Jurina was certain of it: she should never have allowed the situation to escalate and get out of control.
This relationship – or whatever this strange thing going between them was called – had no future. Not only did they belong to two complete opposite worlds, she feared the stripper might have a biased image of her. The one of a studious girl working hard during the week to obtain her diploma in Architecture and who, on the week-end, needed desperately to loosen up and relieve all the accumulated tension and stress.
Of course, none of it was untrue, but it failed to represent properly who she was at her deepest core. Until now, she hadn’t given the dancer any chances of discovering the other hidden aspects of her personality. The strong insecurity inhabiting her when it came to her physical difference. The fear of rejection that refused to leave her as the years went by. But also, the sexual needs she had kept unfulfilled for so many years, before her providential encounter with Akane.
Her fascination for the new stripper couldn’t be ignored and concealing her yearning for her proved to be a challenging task as the months went by, but she was adamant on preserving her from the dreadful truth. Up ‘til that day, she still couldn’t comprehend fully why Akane had embraced her difference, but she didn’t fool herself into believing she represented the norm. It was a merciless society; mentalities didn’t change overnight, and people who didn’t fit it in the mold were cast aside without an ounce of regret.
I need to leave, Jurina rose from the table and put her vest on, concluding by the tardiness and Gekikara’s unfortunate unavailability that she would never manage to obtain tonight that desired conversation with her. Stealing one last, hopeful glance in the direction of the dark-haired stripper, she noted in discouragement that she was indeed still engrossed in her conversation, her entire attention drawn to her client.
Yes, it had been a tremendously frustrating evening.
Tossing a few bills on the table, she didn’t look back and made her way towards the exit, now feeling more than eager to leave the place. She had almost arrived at the front door that she felt someone catching her arm without warning, prompting her to turn around. When she discovered the identity of the person standing in front of her, her eyes widened in stupefaction.
“W-Wait…” Gekikara’s fingers circled her arm tightly. “You’re already leaving?”
Caught off guard by her unexpected apparition, Jurina took a brief look over the stripper’s shoulder, noting from afar that her previous client was sitting at the table, and even gazing at them in mild curiosity. What had happened? A few minutes ago, she was still occupied with him. Could she possibly have left his side abruptly after noticing her leaving the club?
“Yes…” Jurina confirmed nervously, a little unsure how to justify her departure. Evidently, it was out of the question to admit the truth so she decided to opt for a lie, one she hoped convincing enough. “It’s already late, and I’m feeling a bit tired.”
A mixture of guilt and unease spread across the stripper’s face. “I’m sorry… I really wanted to come and see you, but I haven’t had a minute for myself.”
“Don’t worry about it,” Jurina put on a brave face, and tried to sound reassuring. “You’re getting more popular. It’s a good thing, no?”
“Are you… alright?” Jurina understood she had failed reaching her objective when the stripper shot her a small, concerned look.
“Of course,” Jurina forced a smile. “Come on,” she nodded her head in the direction of the awaiting customer. “You shouldn’t make him wait any longer.”
“Don’t you want to stay a bit more?” Gekikara offered tentatively, not even batting an eyelash at the mention of her other client. “I’m sure I’ll have more free time later.”
“No, you won’t…” Jurina gave her a resigned look. The stripper’s optimism was admirable, but she couldn’t share her faith on the matter, not when she had followed the whole evening an endless succession of clients eagerly requesting her presence.
Taking a step back, Jurina didn’t have the opportunity of going very far as the stripper refused to release her hold on her. “I really wanted to spend some time with you tonight…” Gekikara assured. “What if we went out for a drink after my shift?” she made a thoughtful pause. “I need to check, but I think I finish at-”
“No,” Jurina interrupted her without further delay. Last week, it had been a stupid mistake to accept the stripper’s proposal, and she was not ready to repeat it. Given her interlocutor’s baffled look, she feared her prompt refusal might have sounded slightly harsh. Quickly, she corrected herself. “Thank you, but…” Her tone softened. “I really want to go home.”
“Alright…” Gekikara relented in defeat. “I’ll see you next week-end, right?”
Jurina didn’t answer, embarrassed by the glimmer of hope flickering in her eyes. Another time, she wouldn’t have hesitated to retort it was an absurd question, as she had always been impeccably constant in her visits to the club those last two months but after tonight’s events, she didn’t have any more certitude.
“I don’t know yet,” she admitted. “I might be… busy.”
Gekikara’s blatant disappointment taught her she was not giving her the answer she hoped for, but she couldn’t bring herself to give her false hopes, especially when she was currently so torn about her next course of action. Feeling like it was now her cue to leave, Jurina gave her one last smile before turning on her heels, repeating to herself to keep walking and not look back, fearing she might change her mind if she risked another glance in Gekikara’s direction.
When Jurina reached her apartment a little while later, she was cautious not to make too much noise when she stepped inside, not wishing to take the risk of accidentally waking up her roommate in the process. Closing gingerly the front door behind her and switching the light on, a frown fell upon her face when she noted Mayu’s bedroom door wide opened, and no signs of its occupant. That’s when it hit her. Earlier on, her best friend had indeed warned her she would not be sleeping here tonight, but spending the evening at Yuki’s, her girlfriend’s place.
Finally figuring out the reason behind her best friend’s absence, Jurina felt considerably more at ease. For some weird reason, it had completely slipped her mind.
Removing her shoes and vest in the entrance, it occurred to her she wouldn’t for once have minded some company tonight, and couldn’t help despite herself lamenting the quietness of the apartment. All the way here, she hadn’t stopped debating with herself whether she should give in to Gekikara’s last tempting request and go back to The Blue Moon the following week, but her thoughts were a jumble mess in a head, soon concluding she was not in the best state of mind right now to make such a crucial decision.
Entering her own bedroom on the left, the red letters flashing on her alarm clock reminded her of the late time, and she knew she should try and put her concerns aside for now to find some sleep. Quickly, she discovered it was easier said than done. After she had changed clothes and put herself to bed, seconds soon transformed into minutes, but maintaining her eyes close proved an impossible task.
Gekikara’s persistent image was keeping her wide awake.
A frustrated growl escaped her lips and, after switching the light on, took a seat on the side of the bed, burying her face in her hands as a feeling of powerlessness spread through her chest. Unconsciously, her thoughts lead her to an entirely different person, all of a sudden wishing strongly Akane hadn’t left the capital and moved to Osaka.
If there was one person who had always managed to relax her when she needed it the most, it was definitely Akane. When she was too stressed about her strenuous daily life as a student. When she was mentally exhausted, and wanted to get rid of the nagging voices inside her head taking some malicious delight in reminding her of her abnormality. Or, on a more physical aspect, when she had too much pent-up sexual tension asking to be released.
Akane was the only person she could reach out to.
On the week-end, and even during weekdays.
At the strip club, or inside her apartment.
In a matter of minutes, all her worries would disappear magically, as if they had never existed in the first place. Away from prying eyes and in the safe vicinity of a bedroom, Akane accomplished the unconceivable underneath the bedsheets. A miracle no other human being had ever managed to perform before her.
She made her feel accepted.
“But she’s not here anymore,” Jurina stammered, her small voice sounding weakly in the partial darkness of her room as she confessed her disarray. “And she’s probably… never coming back.”
Her absence was leaving her prey to the worst of her doubts and insecurities.
Her gaze wandered in the room helplessly, absentmindedly spotting a disorganized pile of documents and books spread carelessly across the floor. Taking a deep breath, she stood on her feet and moved towards the embarrassing mess, hoping doing a little clean up may help her clear her head and find some sleep. Kneeling down on the blue carpet, she gathered her books and courses on Construction Law, decided to find some empty place for them in her office.
Lowering next the heavy load on her desk, she tidied it for a little while conscientiously, removing old courses and books she had no more use. When a paper sheet slipped accidently between the piece of furniture and the wall, she retrieved it without further ado, her attention caught by a thin rectangular card trapped in the narrowed space. Her curiosity piqued, she extended her arm, catching the white card between her fingers. When she finally took a peek at it, her eyes widened as she recognized instantly the familiar inscription on it.
“What… What is it still doing here?” She blinked in incredulity, persuaded to have thrown it away a long time ago.
That professional card made everything rush back with vivid clarity, and she stared at it for a long period of time, until casting a glance towards the direction of the bin. When her better judgment was urging her to get rid of it without second thoughts, a small voice inside her head, growing louder and louder as the seconds went by, was wondering if it couldn’t be the answer to her problems. What if it was precisely what she needed tonight?
Taking a seat back on the bed, her eyes flickered undecidedly between the rectangular card in her hand and the white Smartphone resting on the bedside table, before making up her mind and seizing the device. To be honest, she would deem herself lucky if the number was still in function after so much time but she didn’t dither, typing the familiar phone number on the screen.
Pressing the phone against her ear, she waited in anticipation while it rang a few times, a smooth and feminine voice soon picking up.
“Nana speaking?”
Nana looked just as she remembered her.
Feminine, elegant, mature; but most of all, very easy on the eyes. The essential prerequisites that had led her to pick that girl in particular when she had stumbled upon her picture. Jurina followed her every move expectantly as she stepped inside her apartment and took a curious look around, wondering what were the odds that woman would ever resurface in her life again. Back then, when Nana had dropped casually her professional card on the bedside table, Jurina had the fervent intention of keeping that night a one-time thing.
And yet here she was again, standing in her living room with an air of confidence, after two long years without seeing each other. From the outside, the situation could appear oddly similar: she had, after all, also called tonight the older girl with a precise goal in mind, but it was a false misconception. Nana may hadn’t change an iota, not the same could be said about herself. She wasn’t anymore the skittish and inexperienced twenty years old girl terrified of losing her virginity to a perfect stranger.
“Hello, Jurina. It’s been a while,” Nana removed her vest and laid it on the armrest of the couch, setting her eyes on her host in keen interest. “I never thought I would ever receive a call from you again. It was a very nice surprise.”
“I wasn’t going to,” Jurina saw no good reason for hiding the truth. “I wasn’t even sure the phone number still worked, or that you kept provided those kinds of services.”
Nana nodded in understanding. “In fact, it’s not really the case anymore. For a while, I was away from Tokyo for personal reasons and when I recently came back, decided to find a different job. I actually applied for a new one a few days ago, and I’m hoping the outcome will be positive.”
“I don’t understand,” Jurina admitted her confusion. “Then why did you accept to come tonight?”
“I decided to keep offering my services to a restricted and selected number of my best customers,” Jurina didn’t miss the unmistakable seductive glint in her eyes, “or to those that I had left a good impression on me...”
Jurina didn’t oppose any resistance when she applied some pressure on her chest and pushed her down on the sofa, straddling her lap with bold assurance. “So, tell me…” Slender fingers slowly traveled down her tee-shirt, pausing just above the waistband of her shorts. “What did you have in mind for tonight?”
For what felt like a breathless eternity, Jurina studied the dazzling woman sitting on top of her, her eyes aglow with longing as she stared at those enticing lips. “It depends,” she wrapped her arms around her back, bringing them closer, and didn’t wait anymore to connect her lips to hers. “How long do you have?”
Nana’s mouth tugged into a knowing smile. “I’m yours as long as you need,” she murmured invitingly when they broke the lingering, sensual kiss. “Ten minutes. An hour. Or… all night.”
A rush of anticipation spread through Jurina’s chest at the tempting prospect, humming in pleasure when Nana slipped a hand underneath her tee-shirt, and her fingers explored every inch of skin at disposal. Little by little, her eyes clouded with desire as dexterous and expert fingers massaged her breasts, the stimulation enhancing effectively her arousal. For a while, she let her willingly proceed with her ministrations, before interrupting her and catching her hand.
As she guided her fingers out of her tee-shirt and down her waist, she made sure to communicate her clearly that another part of her body was begging for her attention. A message visibly properly conveyed, an impish smile adorning Nana’s face as she climbed off her lap and slid her body downwards, dropping on her knees. Her eyes tore away from Jurina’s lustful gaze and stared at her crotch, where the source of her sexual frustrations rested.
Nana cupped it gently and took a grasp of the member through her shorts, her eyes widening slightly when she noted how hard it had already gotten. Not bothering pulling the material off, she slipped her fingers inside the shorts and pulled out Jurina’s sex, her eyes following the member’s extent from base to head appreciatively. Stealing a glance towards its owner, she distinguished the unmistakable craving in her eyes, and began slowly stroking her member with measured, gentle motions.
Jurina let out a gasp and closed her eyes shut, taking in the feeling of the fingers running up and down her length, the sensation nearly as painful as it was pleasurable. After a few moments of pleasuring Jurina that way, Nana lowered her head and leaned in, enveloping gingerly her erect member with the warmth of her mouth. In the vain hope of muffling the noises trying to erupt from her throat, Jurina bit hard on her lower lip, but the constant slow-pace sucking on her member kept eliciting moan after moan.
While Nana worked her talents on the thick firmness, Jurina’s hands found their way into her hair, her fingers entangling into her long dark locks as she gently began pushing down every now and then. A ball of fire started to form at the pit of Jurina’s stomach and she felt as though she was about to explode, all her pent-up sexual tension threatening to spill at any moment. As if Nana could sense she was getting dangerously close, she set a faster pace with each dip, using her other hand to hold the throbbing member in place.
Very slowly at first, but gradually increasing in its intensity, a shudder rippled through Jurina when she felt the orgasm ripping through her entire form. Eventually, she came down from her peak, still a little short of breath when she took a tentative peek at the girl who had skilfully brought her to an intense climax. After a minute or so, when she had regained a portion of her strength, Jurina lifted her off the floor, the older girl not hesitating to straddle her like before.
Jurina listened to the sound of her racing heart slowing down progressively in her chest, her hands roaming Nana’s back when the latter slipped her arms around her neck, and placed some kisses down her jawline. They silently remained in that position for a little while, exchanging a few occasional kisses, until Jurina felt Nana gripping her length without warning, her member effortlessly awakening under the daring provocation of her fingers.

How to Be Attractive to Women: Be a Cut Above All Other Guys
We all want to get the girl – that’s human nature. So why does it seem like some guys seem to have all the luck? Here’s how to be attractive to women.
A woman will be half-sure about most of the men that court her, and so she will dangle them on a hook. Why? Because she’s waiting for that one person, the ultimate prize, that one man who stands out because he’s just a little too good for her and a cut above every other guy in her life.
A woman’s value versus a man’s
First, know a woman’s self-worth is fanned by social media, femme-centric society, and good old-fashioned narcissism that comes with being the more desirable sex. So generally in society, a man’s sexuality is deemed lower in worth than a female’s and is worshpped to a far lesser degree.
For example, a guy is said to ‘get lucky’ when he’s successful with a woman. A guy could be a millionaire, jacked, super-intelligent, but if there is a drunken hot girl dancing crazily with her hot friend in a club, in that environment she has 10-times as much value as he does.
Of course, value is in the eye of the beholder and all humans are equal regardless of sex. But… ask yourself, when was the last time you saw a man’s torso used to sell a travel ad? Perhaps a few, but it’s hard to think of, right? On the other hand, females are beautiful goddesses; their image can be used to sell anything, from an Oral-B toothbrush to the shores of Waikiki.
I wouldn’t pay the same for a toothbrush if it had a picture of man half-naked on it. So we get it – beauty, flowers embodied; women are to be looked at, enjoyed, and worshiped. [Read: Why men can’t resist women and their oh-so-hot bodies]
Here’s how to be attractive to women
If you want to know how to be attractive to women, the number one thing to remember, however, in order to be a cut above other men in her life, is this: believe you ARE the prize.
It’s tempting to be average and humble. To stand out less, to try to fit in more. Overall, that approach feels easier.
But the man who’s a cut above other men doesn’t do average. He’s noticeable for the very reason that he goes so far above and beyond. He’s the ultimate prize. Other men are jealous of him. Women compete over him. [Read: 23 hacks to be a lot more attractive to women instantly]
Let’s think… George Clooney.
Now, as a men’s dating coach, I know a few things about attracting females. And I can say, without smirking, that many of the actors we watch in movies possess a lot of the real character traits that men who are a ‘cut above’ also possess.
George Clooney is undeniably a cut above most other men and obviously knows how to be attractive to women. The ‘age-old’ joke about him was that he’s too in love with himself to settle down with a woman. For the longest time he didn’t get married – an incorrigible yet IN-DEMAND bachelor.
It’s very difficult to fake certain behaviors. And girls are very good at screening out men pretending to be greater than they feel inside. But Clooney really is the prize. This is why he can believably play ‘the top 1%’ male character type in movies.
Clooney is a good example of been the prized man that women HOPE to lock down. They’ll literally abandon other guys by the roadside for the chance to be his Number One Squeeze.
We can break down how to be a cut above other men by listing a few things. First, ask yourself the question: what do you imagine when you think of George Clooney? [Read: 25 things that make a man attractive to women]
Let’s list them out.
#1 A self-confidence that oozes out of every expression and word. Confidence, confidence, confidence is key if you want to know how to be attractive to women. It’s funny, no matter how many times we guys hear that women love a guy with self-confidence, we forget it.
We instead say too much in order to try and impress, doubt ourselves, and consider how girls might want us to act rather than being ourselves. Connecting with a girl from a position of self-doubt is a major turn off… all wrong. The angle’s way off!
So how do we transform self-doubt into rock-steady smooth confidence? [Read: The subtle differences between a confident and an arrogant man]
First, pursue mastery.
Notice that George Clooney’s able to play Danny Ocean in Ocean’s 11 – a character leading the heist of a bustling, ultra-secure Las Vegas casino. That takes skill goddamned it! If you’re not the best at something, aim to be. Be the best or be average.
This means: reading books, taking workshops, investing in yourself by spending an amount of money on training that makes you feel slightly nauseous. This will pay major dividends over time. Finding the right mentors early on puts you on the path to mastery far faster than if you were to go it alone. [Read: How to be a better man using the right role model]
Next, still your mind, yet take ‘reckless’ action.
It’s hard to overstate the importance of this key point when learning how to be attractive to women. When things go wrong, and they always go wrong at some point, Clooney seems relaxed and finds solutions, not fuel for the fire. He cranks up his boldness, but never seems to panic.
Ways of stilling the mind include: mindfulness meditation, daily exercise, and proper diet. It’s worth doing these boring basics because when you look into her eyes, you’ll have the icy warm look of someone who doesn’t give a fuck.
When you get the girl, she’ll have the impression that you were perfectly willing to be rejected, but that you went for it anyway. [Read: Why can’t I get a girlfriend? 25 mistakes that ruin your chances]
Now, make a decision… any decision will do.
We don’t always know the right decision, but self-confidence means that we trust ourselves to make A decision, even if it’s a decision to take inaction.
Men who are a cut above know where they’re going. They know what they value, and so they act from this space. They’re willing to make wrong decisions and learn from mistakes. Women can’t stand a guy who doesn’t know whether he’s coming or going. So make a decision and commit to it. Good enough is way better than perfect. [Read: 15 traits that’ll make you the perfect boyfriend material]
#2 Leadership qualities, in charge, other men follow him. Simon Sinek, a thought-leader on leadership *pun not intended*, states the one prerequisite all leaders have in common is courage. And we can’t be courageous just for ourselves. We need to have a tribe we belong to and are being courageous for.
Women also love a man who is respected by other men because it suggests he has high status. This will naturally make her feel more protected by him. Here are 2 ways to use courage to improve your tribal status:
– Build a social network where you regularly plan activities: nights out, road trips, movie nights…
– Form a social circle with only males, to show you can relate to the masculine. Also form circles that are mixed-sex, which will ironically give you more opportunities to meet women *women in those circles will see that you are popular and be attracted to you*. [Read: How to be dominant – 15 firm and calm ways to be the real alpha]
Men respect courage.
So look for opportunities to be unexpectedly bold. When it would be easier to back down, crank it up when it really matters. This doesn’t mean picking unnecessary fights, it means standing up for what you believe in, being willing to stick up for a friend, and more willing to be vulnerable than others.
Other ways of doing this could be to: put yourself on the line by planning activities where perhaps few people might show up, not giving up with building social circles, and leading from the front not the back. [Read: How to get any girl to like you – 18 secrets to impress any girl]
When you have a social circle you love and are respected in, you will naturally have more energy about you. You will know how to be attractive to women – even more than other men in her life with less status and belonging. You’ll be less insecure. Whenever she pushes you to test your confidence, you’ll have enough core self-belief, because you feel loved and supported by your tribe.
Now, some final, MAJOR ‘Cut Above’ pointers…
#3 Fully entitled to her. Don’t assume she’ll give you permission to be entitled to her – you must assume it.
The single most important reason why a girl does not buy into your approach is that you don’t really believe you can get her, or that you even deserve her. As long as you believe she’s better than you, you have no chance.
Brainwash yourself until you believe it. Tell yourself you’re ‘the shit.’ Focus on your strengths and on your desire for her, not on your weaknesses.
#4 Talking to her emotions. If she’s reacting to what you say and do, then you’re still in the game. You really need to remember this one when you’re figuring out how to be attractive to women.
One moment you could be talking to her, and mid-sentence lean in and kiss her. Why? Because it’s not so much about what you say logically, it’s about how you say it, and how it makes her feel.
The emotional state she’s in determines what next move you can make. She will appreciate you massively if you have an understanding of her emotions. Learn to stroke them, to understand them, and use them to direct events skilfully.
If you want to know how to be attractive to women, take an interest in chick-lit, romance movies, and the types of things that provoke intense emotional reactions in women, with an eye on becoming more skillful in emotional intelligence. [Read: What women find attractive – 16 traits girls instantly fall for]
#5 Dressed to the nines – suave, yet masculine. This hardly needs much clarification.
Step up your game, brother! Dress more Boss than you feel comfortable with. Once you get used to that level of sophistication and style, crank it up even further. Experiment – blazers, shoes, the bad-boy look, the gentleman look, the millionaire bad-boy look. [Read: How to look fabulous while trying to get attention]
#6 Willing to fail. This is probably the most important point, and so I want to end on it.
The safer you want to be, the lower chance you have of leveling up in confidence, success, and status. When you’re willing to fail, you can go so much further than your competition that it’s crazy.
For example, if you get rejected more from approaching more girls, you learn faster than the competition: better ways of approaching, better ways of creating rapport, better ways of creating chemistry, better ways of eye contact and so on and so on.
[Read: How to be the Hot Guy – 20 rules to instant hotness]
The next time you look at a man who just seems a cut above you and 99% of others men – while you’re wondering how to be attractive to women – note the battle scars that you can’t see from the many, many rejections and experiments he’s put himself through, and do the same.

Episode 103: Bubbled
Tumblr media
“If I could begin to be half of what you think of me, I could do about anything.”
In the middle of Act I of Steven Universe, Steven saves the Atlantic Ocean, and in the middle of Act II, he saves Earth. These are large-scale victories that show his growing capabilities as a Crystal Gem in the global sense: he’s a defender of the world and all its inhabitants, and has two major accomplishments to show for it.
The end of Act I is more of a personal fight. The only lives at stake are those of the Crystal Gems as they’re brought into space, and Steven takes a more passive role in the finale, helping here and there but ultimately having the day saved by Garnet (and, arguably, Lapis). And it turns out the pattern of a more extreme sequel in Act II continues: in Bubbled, the only life at stake is his own, and despite being far more competent than he was in Jailbreak, he needs to be saved by others once again, because he’s been shattered.
Tumblr media
As with Jailbreak, Steven spends a good part of Bubbled with another ornery ruby who gripes “Great! This is just perfect!” and barely gives him the time of day at first. In both episodes he tries and fails to help this ruby: our Ruby runs off on her own in impatience, and Eyeball tries to shank him and must be ejected from his bubble. But something interesting happens when you compare these rubies further, because beyond their opposing loyalties, there’s one major difference between the two of them: Ruby has such a low opinion of herself that she doesn’t think it matters whether or not she gets hurt, while Eyeball has such a high opinion of herself that she dreams of being the hero who defeats Rose Quartz, complete with glory from the Diamonds (and her own pearl). And really, this is one of the things the show is all about.
The flaws of practically every character in Steven Universe come down to the dichotomy between insecurity and overconfidence. At a glance, we can read our heroes as insecure and our villains as overconfident (Pearl and Amethyst good, Jasper and Kevin bad), but the actual lesson is that everyone has insecurities, and overconfidence is more often than not a reaction to it. As we learn more about our smug villains, we see the shortcomings that drive that smugness, and only then can Steven bridge the gap towards friendship. Heck, Garnet is the only truly confident Crystal Gem, and while I wouldn’t quite call her smug, at her worst she evokes the ice cold certainty of Sapphire more than the exposed nerve of Ruby. Like our villains, she begins as a mysterious figure, and her arc in Act II involves letting her Ruby out to become more balanced: she better understands her insecure family by embracing the uncertainty within, and uses this growth to reach out and help an insecure enemy understand her in Log Date 7 15 2.
Garnet might seem to have her act together compared to the other Crystal Gems, but let’s not forget that the emotionally healthiest character in the series is Greg Universe. He’s overconfident in flashbacks, but in the present is at peace with his shortcomings and happy with what he has without needing to compensate. He mourns Rose, but converts this grief into a celebration of his son’s life. Greg isn’t as dynamic a character as the rest because he’s already figured the important things out; he has his missteps, but his core is consistent and largely unchanging, even when he stumbles upon life-changing wealth. Steven tries to be like Rose throughout the series, but it’s not for nothing that Change Your Mind ties self-acceptance to sitting on the beach with a guitar.
Tumblr media
I know I’m talking big picture here in terms of the characters and the series, but there’s not much to discuss about Bubbled at the surface level: it’s the misadventure of two enemies that sours to a breaking point, followed by a rescue. It’s actually a pretty slow bottle episode, consisting of a few long conversations broken up by two action sequences, and ending with another conversation. It’s similar in structure to Open Book and Gem Hunt, but far starker than either.
So the big picture is what matters when discussing Bubbled, because it’s a story about how Steven’s inner demons manifest, and will continue to manifest for the rest of the series. After all, Steven himself began as an overconfident kid, rushing into situations he wasn’t ready for and annoyed with not being considered a peer. He becomes far more tolerable after Steven and the Stevens, when he takes this attitude down a few notches and starts trying in earnest to catch up instead of looking for shortcuts or assuming he’s already there whenever anything goes right. But his insecurity is also clear, and now we get to really dig into the unique way this affects his character after examining how other insecurities affect other characters.
Amethyst’s insecurity raises her defenses like a pufferfish. Pearl’s insecurity makes her insensitive to the needs of others. Ruby’s insecurity compels her to verbalize her own worthlessness (while Sapphire radiates confidence and is only insecure when her signature ability to be secure in the future is disrupted). Connie’s insecurity drives her to prove her worth to others. Peridot’s insecurity causes her to belittle others to make herself seem bigger. Lapis’s insecurity magnifies her suffering and minimizes the good. Bismuth’s insecurity inspires her to overcommit to a righteous cause. Sadie’s insecurity lets people walk all over her until she snaps. Lars’s insecurity makes him a huge jerk. And Steven’s insecurity fuels a martyr complex that’s cranked up to life-threatening heights in Act III.
Tumblr media
The most important choice Steven makes in Bubbled is a mind-numbingly stupid one: to tell Eyeball that he’s Rose Quartz, and to then do everything in his power to convince her. Eyeball is the reason he learned Rose shattered Pink Diamond, and she has given every indication that she despises Rose for this, and she’s an especially aggressive member of an aggressive team made of Gems designed to be aggressive. Steven’s reveal comes after Eyeball has made it explicit that her lingering hatred of Rose is the reason she even came to Earth. He’s alone in space with someone who will try to hurt him if she thought he was Rose (and who already wants to hurt him), and he has proven throughout Act II that he’s neither dumb nor naive enough to not understand the likely outcome here. But he says he’s Rose anyway, because he’s so obsessed with helping people that he's willing to put his own safety at risk just to cheer up an enemy.
There are other reasons I think it makes sense for him to make such an obvious mistake. He’s definitely in shock, but he’s also grumpy and takes Eyeball’s disbelief as a challenge. This is an irrational decision made by someone who isn’t in a rational state of mind. But this only makes it more compelling that his gut instinct, the essence of Steven that emerges from this emotional turmoil, is to help someone else. We’ve already had a whole episode about balancing the needs of others with the needs of yourself in Kiki’s Pizza Delivery Service, but remember, that episode ends with Steven falling asleep standing up, because he ignored his own health to help Kiki learn that lesson.
Steven’s greatest strength creates his greatest weakness. He’s empathetic and sensitive, and can do amazing things because of it, but he needs to value himself as much as he values everyone around him. Act III sees him stumble and scramble through more trying times than ever, and until Connie finally calls him out on it, he compounds his troubles with his self-sacrificial mindset. He’s not suicidal by any stretch, but he decides his own needs are irrelevant when others need help, which ironically makes him more selfish than ever as he determines that he and he alone can save the day and stop his friends from getting hurt. And even when the cosmic scale fades away, his obsession with helping others to distract from himself becomes the driving conflict of Steven Universe Future.
Tumblr media
Eyeball works wonders as a foil: she opposes Steven, but isn’t savvy enough to manipulate him on purpose, so his error is both obvious and unforced. Telling her that he’s Rose Quartz needs to say more about him than about the person he’s telling, and Eyeball is just flat enough of a character that she doesn’t steal his spotlight.
Charlyne Yi once again kills it, and little moments do personalize Eyeball further, even if it’s nothing groundbreaking. The biggest, in my mind, is commanding Steven to “find cover, soldier!” as asteroids approach, despite their antagonistic relationship: her instinct to act as a team trumps her personal disdain for Steven, and while he assumes later that the two are bonding, this is as close as I think she actually gets to reciprocating. We see her get annoyed at being called Eyeball, which is a nice and reasonable gripe from a character whose gripes we tend to disagree with. And I love that her weapon is less of a knife and more of a shiv, with a squared edge that implies she’s got a really strong stabbing arm.
Like I said, she’s still flat—we may see her quirks here, but she doesn’t change at all over the course of the episode and we already knew she was a proud warrior Gem with a stubborn streak—but it works. It’s weird to use “flat” as a compliment, but I do mean it as such. She isn’t the real villain here, and “defeating” her feels more like failure than victory: Mindful Education hammers home that this is the third enemy Gem in a row that Steven couldn’t help, no matter how hard he tried.
Tumblr media
While Bubbled feels pretty slow, it helps that the whole thing is beautiful to look at. The opening shot of Steven tumbling through space from his own point of view gets us right into the game, and the loneliness and sheer terror of his situation is highlighted with gorgeous, silent shots of space. Steven is processing a huge shift in perspective, and the setting reflects the magnitude of his new reality.
And then, to add an auditory counterpart to the visual story, his rescue is punctuated by Rebecca Sugar finally finishing Love Like You.
Tumblr media
The song has played over the closing credits since the beginning of the series, using a variety of instruments before the lyrics trickled in. An acoustic version accompanies the end of Ocean Gem, as Steven celebrates with the humans and the Gems discuss what Lapis’s escape means for the future. A haunting reprise, unrecognizable at first while Steven struggles to find himself, joins the end credits for Act III. And wouldn’t you know, it’s a song about insecurity.
When I first heard Love Like You, and for years after, I was convinced that it was sung by Rose. Rebecca Sugar herself said that it wasn’t written with a particular character in mind, but nope, for me it was definitely about Rose. She’s singing to Greg about how she wants to capable of loving the way humans can, and Steven is the result of the conversation. And I still think that reading stands, and that it matters, but songs can be about more than one thing.
This is the third of four songs that encapsulate the two big lessons I take from Steven Universe. Strong in the Real Way reconstructs the notion of what true strength is, and alongside Stronger Than You, we’re told that what matters most is doing the right thing and being a good person, even when it’s hard, and that healthy relationships (romantic, familial, platonic, whatever) help make this possible.
Love Like You and our fourth big song, Change Your Mind, similarly work as a duo: where the Strong Songs are about the importance of relationships to emotional strength, Love Like You and Change Your Mind address how we as individuals can be strong in the real way. It’s important to have healthy relationships, but it’s also important to love yourself, and Love Like You is about that second part: the most loving network in the world can’t fix your insecurity if you’re unable to see yourself the way your loved ones do.
As Love Like You plays in the background, with the first non-diegetic lyrics we’ve heard in the series, Steven is finally told the truth. Garnet is right that Steven’s mother would have done anything for Earth, and while the details of her misdeeds are hazy at this point, the result is the same. Steven can no longer look to his mother as a paragon of virtue, and even though the Crystal Gems love him, they can’t fix this new problem, especially if their secrecy is part of the problem. They think the world of Steven, and now it’s up to him to see that he can do about anything. He could even learn how to love.
Tumblr media
Future Vision!
Eyeball knows Rose Quartz not by her shield, but her sword. And we know Eyeball witnessed the “shattering” of Pink Diamond. And we know that Rose’s sword was built to not harm a Gem’s gem. Hints abound.
The chase around the bubble ends because Steven stops and wonders aloud what would happen if his gem was taken. It’s the first time the subject is broached on the show. It isn’t the last.
We’re the one, we’re the ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Bubbled touches on major themes of the series, but in a bubble on its own, the glacial pace hinders the storytelling. This is a great finale, but it’s not that great of a solitary episode. I like it fine, there are a lot of great things about it (the art in particular), but I don’t rank this one very high by itself.
