Hemlock Pokeparts - (Last year?!) Progress (Update Report 3)

Oh my, i can't believe it's been almost a year since i have updated you guys on how the mod is going. Problems with my old hard drive (which is now an SSD), a turbulent period in college and the pandemic ended up delaying my pace in this project.

But the time has come and I finally have news: HPP project now has its own tumblr, yay \o\ . Now the posts will be more organized and easier to find, but let's get to what really matters: New parts!

First of all: Finally i fixed an old nemesis: the kantonian eye base! everytime i tried to make it work something went wrong as you can se below:

Oh poor bean, i decided to treat him as my guinea pig from now on. but now its possible to use that eye as intended, and the best part: the iris color is now linked to the detail color, so the player decides the final result.

To celebrate it, i finally made the first faithful recreation in game: bulbasaur with all the parts that it needs, i also give him an armor to match the mood of halloween month.

And what matches even more with halloween? The gengar evolutionary family! i'm working on them and learning how to make new effects in game. Gastly needs a proper fog after all. On top of that, a lot of heads/mouths are almost ready to play with (43 in total).

Parts aren't the only new thing to apreciate with this update, The first ability to be present in this mod is a simple one, introducing new ways to play, I present you that new ability: supersonic!

For the ones that still missing the aquatic stage, this mod may help to simulate some of the possibilities that underwater creatures could have been, one of the new feet will be an flipper ! (unfortunately, it won't make creatures go underwater ... yet ? ;-;)
