This custom game table is just incredible. It started with some customers with Dungeons and Dragons fanaticism, a vision, and nearly a month of tedious execution. It features 6 player portals, each equipped with a brass cupholder, a dice tray, a slot for cards, and a storage cubby. The storage cubby is equipped with LED lighting and a power outlet. In the center of the table is a felt playing surface with LED light surrounding and glass hovering over a TV. The TV is wired to a master station, where a lap top can connect to project various maps and playing surfaces.

The customers suggested the hexagon shape, which works beautifully, both for the aesthetic and the optimal player placement. We suggested the hexagonal legs to complement the table top, an idea that immediately made sense to everyone. The customers wanted red oak in order to match some other furniture in the room. We rarely use red oak, so it took some adjusting to get behind it, but in the end (and after a vigorous search for the perfect stain) we really learned to love it. The walnut covering the playing surface was also a nice touch, as this mirrored an accent in the wood flooring.

As Pete Deeble furniture has grown we have learned to love custom projects like this. They are always stretching and we learn something new along the way.
