The Birth Of A Paper 

Welcome to Toronto Township’s newest and brightest weekly newspaper. We take this opportunity to introduce you to the Mississauga news, a regular weekly newspaper designed to serve the people of Toronto Township. Port Credit and Streetsville. Consecrating mainly on the western half of the township and the town of Port Credit at first, the news will strive to expand its circulation boundaries to efficiently bring ALL [BLANK] news of interest to all [BLANK] South Peel. 

Unicorn Wanted 

With the long awaited release of the Goldenberg Report, Toronato Township ‘big city dream’ of the future now looms as a more distinct possibility all the time. 

Township Reeve Robert Speck has already asked that a study be made of this area with the view of forming some type of metro-type plan here. At the present time, the township has its application for town status pending before the Ontario Municipal(?) Board. This application was considered to be the first important step towards ultimately forming a city here with the towns of Port Credit and Streetsville joining up with its township, at some time in the future.

In past discussions between representatives Toronto Township, Port Credit and Streetsville it was a generally agreed amalgamation of these three municipalities would come about in the near future — possibly 4 to 5 years from now. 

Any instant ‘amalgamation’, however, was frowned upon by most members of Post Credit and Streetsville councils as they felt such a move would be too much costly for their people right now. 

It is not known right at this time what will happen to the township’s application for town status since the suggestion for a complete study of metro-type possibilities here could tangle up this move. 

Whatever the future holds for this rapidly growing area, it is crystal clear that Toronto Township — and Port Credit and Streetsville too for that manner — are growing in leaps and bounds. Post Credit is growing up, changing the heart of its-

-area into a high rise sector: Streetsville has plans for expansion in all directions and Toronto Township itself is a bee-hive of industrial and residential growth.

Toronto Township passed a resolution Monday that a bylaw be prepared to prohibit the use of skateboards on public sidewalks and roadways in the township.

HEHE OK LET'S GO!!

1. All of them have their difficulties but Jackie is by far the easiest since she’s the most relaxed and casual of the bunch so her lines come out a lot easier. Duelua is probs the hardest because she speaks the most formally and haughty and I have to search up a lot of word synonyms for her dialogue 😭😭!

2. Middle but leaning more towards silly. I’m more of a silly person by nature so most of their stuff is at least 35% silly at all times!

3. You may not have figured this out but I’m not great with names (I completely stole her name from her main inspo but we'll get to that). I knew I wanted a more nickname-y name if that makes sense so ones like Andy were in my head a lot.

4. I did not name Urpi, all credit to that goes to Taurus, but the idea of Mother of Dragon/Wife of Garp rattled around in my head loooong before I started yapping on Tumblr.com. I toyed around with a lot of Latin names based off Dragon's influences and Luffy's real world ethnicity. Names like Lucia and Helena for example. Urpi fits her best though!! I would change nothing about that lovely dovely lady!

5. DINO WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THIS?? I CAN'T PICK BETWEEN MY GIRLS LIKE THAT 😭😭😭! If I must pick I’d say Urpi or Jackie since they’re the most fleshed out?? Maybe ultimately Jackie since she’s my baby…

6. Jackie inspos - Hermes (generally like the idea of hermes, the messenger that also works for the underworld), Jack Kelly from Newsies (stole his name, stole his job, stole his songs for the Jackie playlist I’m still making, highway robbery atp), Katherine Plumber from Newsies (journalist who has an asshole of a journalist father hmmmm), Princess Bubblegum from AT (Girls who try their hardest to find better means to ends, also a little evil), Young Queen Charlotte from Queen Charlotte (She’s also sorta a voice claim. Jackie is British reminder jumpscare).

7. Urpi Inspirations - My actual mother (gotta think like the mom to write the mom), Kate Sharma from Bridgerton (a younger Urpi's lethal face claim), Wonder Woman (the gal of all time), the Unicorn from the Last Unicorn (mmm angst), Captain America (yes I’m mixing Marvel and DC, no I don’t care).

8. Mimi would happily take the crown…and give it to Urpi. She knows when she’s been beat. In order from best to worst it goes Urpi -> Mimi -> Jackie -> Duelua (moon lady does not understand cooking food. New races sure but dishes don’t compute in her head).

9. They have names…I should really iron them down but Due has all my focus on that front lol. I come back to them eventually (I say, thinking of a new OC completely).

i had a really bizarre dream the other night where i was driving to work and saw a unicorn on the side of the highway and it caused me to like swerve off the highway and directly into a puddle except the puddle was like fully a pond and my car was fully submerged and i had to get out and swim to the top and then instead of perhaps calling 911 i called my mom. also somehow i just opened the door and swam out when i was submerged but like that’s not really how that works. anyways it then like cuts to me chilling swimming in the puddle like hanging on the edge and a singular paramedic shows up no vehicle or anything to help me out of the water and he calls someone to pull my car out of the water and somehow my car was perfectly fine other than being all wet

While on the way to the countryside (which is full of the countryside) their carriage gets attacked by highway men! Known as the De Noir Clan, ruffians and thugs, Maria is warmed to stay out of the forest, but does she? Of course not.

Maria is a feisty, prideful, headstrong thirteen-year-old, she’s marvelous, but as more and more strange things keep happening, she cannot keep her curiosity at bay and must figure it out! She’s so sassy and mouthy

She’s learns of an old family grudge between the Merryweathers and the De Noirs that has festered and caused so much strife throughout the valley. Hundreds of years ago, the Moon blessed a woman with a pure and good heart with magical moon pearls that will grant any wish and reveal the truths of men’s hearts.

Both families vie for the pearls, and seeing their greed, the Moon Princess curses the Valley that if by the 5,000th full moon if they don’t get their shit together the Valley will be plunged into eternal darkness!!!!
