The syllabus for CTET has been divided into four sections: Language 1, Language 2, Mathematics and Elementary Education Methods. Candidates are tested on their teaching skills of various subjects like English (Reading Comprehension, Grammar and Writing), Hindi (Listening Comprehension and Reading Comprehension), Environmental Studies (Moral Education), Social Studies/Social Science (Geography/History) and Mathematics & Numerical Ability.
