I personally hc Tails as half french, although I think he wouldn't be THAT fluent in the language. BUT, he does know a few phrases, and one of them is "I love you" = "Je t'aime"

for the longest time, he'd randomly say it to Sonic, mostly when they'd say goodbye (albeit casually). Sonic wouldn't think much of it, just another one of his brother's quirks. Until one day he decides to actually translate "Je t'aime" and everything just makes sense to him LMFAOOO (mostly finding it cute)

So the other day the P:EG director said that Diana's hair is dyed, which isn't THAT surprising considering it's bright pink, but gave a joke answer when asked for her natural color (neon green). Which makes me think it might be revealed in the game itself...

The thing is that unlike with every other character with dyed hair, we don't know what her natural hair color is. Damon has black hair as shown in his imitation/echo arts, Kai's roots are growing, and Mark/Eva only have their tips dyed, so we know their hair is naturally black. While there's no REAL evidence that Diana's hair color is important, I have a few thoughts on it.

Her talent has to do with hair. It could very well have to do with her talent origin story!! She could've dyed her hair as part of becoming a cosmetologist.

Her status as a chameleon whose imitation phrase is about "change" might have to do with this too--as in, she changed her hair color to change something about herself. She's hiding something about herself, or something about what she used to be like. Symbolically, her hair could be part of this too. Notably, though, her imitation/echo arts show her with the same pink hair, and it's different from, say, Damon's imitation/echo arts which seem to show more directly the change between his past self with black hair and his current self being blond. Whatever Diana's original hair color was, it could've been dyed earlier than Damon's, or it's more of something she wants to hide, unlike Damon?

Her pink hair makes her look more similar to Wolfgang's mother's red hair. Not that this was intentional on *Diana's* part, but it's definitely narratively important.

So basically the idea is that this change was something vitally important to her and her past change. On the other hand, her echo art has a lot to do with eyes, rather than hair.
