eltingville Tumblr fandom is so rotted

cant even look for new stuff in the tag half the time because its either riddled with gooner art of literal kids or oc self-ships that make the club members so ooc that they may as well be whole new characters. and the tag filter doesn't help bcs the creators are either like 12, ppl who dont know how to use Tumblr (no hate me neither sometimes), or ppl who js dont think about how some ppl might not want to see your skims-dress mommy-voice every-club-member-is-in-love-with-her Mary sue oc (again, no hate, i love Mary sues). and maybe this is more of a personal tangent but even if the creator is underage, WHYYYY are you posting gooner art of ur underage oc and an underage character. self-ships? yay. freaky ahh minors? maybe thats just weird to me. idk.

When Jiyeong had found out about Saebyeoks age regression, the girl had became hesitant on leaving Saebyeok alone, in case she regresses and there's no one to help her or be with her; So it was best to play safe. But it did get annoying fast.

Now, as Saebyeok laid in bed alone, she took a few deep breaths in. She was really sleepy. Jiyeong had convinced her to watch a movie till late, and they didn't get much sleep, as it was a horror movie. Heh, look. I can handle being alone very well, Saebyeok thought to herself, before she cradled herself into the sheets and took off to dreamland.

Her deep slumber didn't last for more than 10 minutes. Saebyeok shivered, memory hazy from all thats going on. All she remembers is seeing a nightmare. And now she felt overwhelmingly little. Oh fuck. This can't be happening, She thought to herself, scared out of her mind. She was scared, cold and really tiny. Where was Jiyeong? The realization that Jiyeong was no where to be found, Saebyeok started crying.

Saebyeok started tearing up again. She did feel cold and uncomfortable, but she much more hated the feeling of humiliation. Having an accident meant that she was super little at the moment of it happening, though she might not be as little right now.

With that, Jiyeong got them both up from the bed, struggling to carry Saebyeok, but managed just fine. "Won't take long baby, I promise." Jiyeong said, as she laid Saebyeok down on the floor. The other girl had seemingly slipped further into her headspace, possibly teetering on the edge of babyspace. She fussed and kicked while Jiyeong tried to change her.

"No baby, you're okay." Jiyeong hushed, as she closed the diaper. "Please stay still for a second. Mama is right here." She said gently, other hand petting Saebyeok's head. Saebyeok did calm down and stopped kicking. She just babbled when Jiyeong put on the change sweatpants.

"There, all done! You did so well baby," Jiyeong praised, lifting the other girl up and placed a quick and small kiss on Saebyeok's cheek. "Wanna go back to bed now?"

The little nodded, almost falling asleep right there. Saebyeok had never felt so warm and tiny, being in Jiyeong's arms made it even better. Being so tiny and warm, but still safe with mama.

"Okay, sleepyhead." Jiyeong giggled. While she had completely forgotten about the sheets that needed to be changed, they could just sleep on the other side of the bed.

The two climbed into bed, snuggly and warm. Saebyeok had definetly slipped into babyspace, more tinier than she usually was.

Oh, how Jiyeong loved tiny baby Saebyeok. When the little had no other clue in the world, but just her and her mama. And in baby Saebyeok's head, her mama was the world.

AND HAD TO MAKE ANTOINE INTO ANTOINETTE TO SHOW HES BI 💀 I feel like the writers missed a lot of important points about the book and WHY Louis stuck with Lestat and was infatuated with him but hated him at the same time. they really changed character dynamics in it tbh. dont get me wrong, its a decent show, but I just can't see it as the same Louis and Lestat compared to the 1994 movie which I think did a good job in recreating what Anne wrote.

I'm not really sure what forced racism means in the context of the iwtv show ngl. I mean I've really only seen the show through one and a half times but I do know that even Louis himself in the books labels himself as a slave to Lestat's whim (Claudia does as well; she also calls him a slave to Armand) (Lestat also does this in respects to Himself so even he agrees hrejgh) so even in the context of the books I don't really think it's forced or ooc for this connection to be made. Obviously the intention is different considering Louis' blackness in the show, but since this is a theme the show goes with (meaning the racism that Louis experiences in his time period) I don't really have a problem with that wording. I'm not black myself so this is just my opinion by the way, but I've always been pretty interested in the way they decided to change show Louis' race and backstory. It's probably the most interesting change they made imo.

Um yeah the Antoinette thing still sucks, I really don't know why they decided to go with that ?? Idk i always forget abt her so I guess I'm a hater. Agree 👍. We never needed to prove Lestat was bi esp in the first book so wharever? go off showrunners i Guess?? idk bout all that

Loustat's dynamic is completely different in the show and it's one I've rlly never been interested in. I know a lot of people enjoy it and I don't wanna take away from that, so no hate there idk do what you love. I'm just not an enjoyer of the abuser/abusee thing they kinda have going on. Um and the cheating stuff it's all just really exhausting to me. I just really like Louis' reaction to Lestat's actions in the book ! They aren't canon BECAUSE Lestat is abusive and controlling and manipulative and they don't even kiss until book 2, let alone express emotional/physical affection. Show Louis goes back to Lestat even after everything that goes on in ep 5 and. As a self proclaimed Louis self insert I just can't ever see him doing that in the books, at least not with Claudia still in the picture. IDK!

I'm really not a hater of the show, and I want all the Louis fans out there to really think about the way they react to the changes in his character from book to show. There are personality changes that I don't agree with either, but this is a different story and the original one has already been told. I don't have to like the show to respect it and its fans, and the whole pick a side thing between book and show is exhausting to me :/ there r things I like and things i don't like about both versions !

okkk just finished legendary

i definitely liked this ALOT better than caraval.

i found that tella was a far more interesting narrator and i was truly rooting for her every step of the way.

i REALLY want to read finale now. like im invested in dante and jacks' characters and i wanna know what happens next

but i have to wait till monday so i can go to school and borrow it :( (i might have to even wait longer than monday bc when i borrowed legendary on friday, finale wasnt there- somebody had borrowed it. i hope that somebody returns it on monday so i can read it)

ok so here are my thoughts on legendary:

-overall it's a 3.5 stars. i feel like 4/5 is too generous, but i did like it alot more than caraval (which i rated 3/5. i think i might actually change caraval's rating to 2/5 and then legendary can be 3/5 bc i dont rlly believe in using 0.5 ratings.... but for now i'll just keep legendary's rating as 3.5)

-the writing was nothing phenomonal. it was still very young adult, just like caraval's was, and i cringed alot from the way that the characters spoke. tella, i like you, but saying "i'm going to pray for the angels to come and cut his tongue" made me want to vomit

-the descriptions were basic as always. i could imagine things, but it wasnt 4/5 star good, hence why i refuse to label legendary as a 4/5 read

-tella was definitely more interesting to read than scarlet. her goals felt more believable, she was more cunning and determined, she was more confident, and she did so much to drive the plot along

-i felt like dante and tella's romance was more believable. they do not need to kiss and touch and flirt everytime they meet but i give them a pass for it because its part of their personalities ig

-the whole storyline overall was more interesting. there was alot of mystery and manipulation and i had no idea what is real or not which is what made it so good :)
