Three months ago I saw a clip of some guys struggling to light a cigarette. One grabs a hammer and starts whacking a steel rod then uses the generated heat to light it and they all lose their minds.

engineer doesn't get enough love on this blog considering how much I cannot express my devotion to him, so I’m working to fix that :) this is similar to what I did for damien but it took foreverr!! iswm lighting is so so pretty which makes it impossible to get right ;;u;; the saturation is really high and there's multiple light sources so in terms of rendering it, its like it was personally designed to leave me dead on the floor :))))) either way,, I'm happy with how it turned out!! he’s very prettie :))

It just occurred to me that, most likely, the Lyctoral hoods are polyester. Like, the way you would get that gauzy, thin, oddly colored material would be through polyester and artificial dyes. I can’t imagine the Houses have strong silk production, or even high quality linen that could be thin and gauzy.

There’s just something about the literal symbols of sainthood, a role which is about killing planets and prolonging the life of an all consuming empire, being made of plastic, a material which pollutes and kills planets, oddly fitting. And also something I had not considered before.
