I've been reading the translated novel version of S-Classes That I Raised, and I remember when I was first reading the webcomic version I was curious about why the ship with Yoojin and Hyunjae was so much more popular than any other ship, since I hadn't gotten very far in yet. I get it now. They won't stop fucking flirting with each other every time they're close enough to exchange words.

Been randomly watching clips from "Asterix and Obelix: Mansion of the Gods" - and as someone who was never exposed to the comics nor seen much of the other media (apart from Asterix at the Olympic Games in French class) I have come to a conclusion -

- The whole village is a group of misfits who aren't even trying but somehow succeed. And Asterix is the only one keeping it all together 🤣

Hey wire, did evere happend that you liked a fan thing so much that you made it canon or get inspired to?

I'm assuming this is asking, if there's ever been a creation or headcanon that has been made into canon.

Just a few times.

The old friend who made Hamburger also made the beginnings of garbeators, the race that her host is. She was the one who decided four eyes, flat chest, eats garbage, etc. I liked it a lot so I worked hard to fit it into canon.

One friend a handful of years ago suggested the name "puppet" instead of "monster" form, which I thought fit so much better it was like an instant switch. I couldn't go back to calling them monsters. Puppet just works so well...

Elliot's name was also suggested either by the same person, or the same friend group-- the details there are a little fuzzy for me, sorry. I know I almost named him Ed. So like, thank goodness that didn't happen. He doesn't look like an Ed at all.

There might have been a couple other smaller things throughout the years, suggested by friends that I've decided to tweak into the canon, but it all feels like home to me so it's hard to remember exactly which aspects at this point.

Oh I believe my bestie was the one who convinced me to put cars in CQ. Originally they only traveled on foot, and flew on Yuan. It was a totally carless world before then. Now it's like, a huge part of the canon. Who figured?!

I have also in the past drawn some fan mimes that I was really impressed with and their puppets, which I believe to be somewhere out in the CQ universe.

I'm always open to the idea of improvising and adding new canon to CQ, but most of the time I'm looking to my friends first, if they have anything they'd like to see in CQ.

Fanon, unless I know the person and I'm really inspired by the idea, and it can work, I tend to like to keep seperated from canon. And that's what makes fan works so fun, is that they're a different flavor!

HOW'D YOU KNOW!!!? No one has ever connected those dots for YEARS!!! 👀 See my headline? "With Love Of Every Flavor..." That's something I wrote in my adolescence which I just never bothered to change. It pertains to my posts and how I make them with love (you can cringe), but I also purposely used it to allude to- you literally guessed it- ICE CREAM!!! Which, according to my family, I was infamously obsessed with. STILL super obsessed with actually! (Tho in my defense, the Philippines is hotter than HELL rn.) So yes! I do see my own art as scoops of ice cream. Have been for- again -YEARS! Besides a "space bubble" for introverts -and people who simply love in a different flavor- to feel safe in, that's EXACTLY what I wanted my art to be seen as!!! Which is why I mostly draw sweet things. (Key word: Mostly.) I wanted to convey the giddiness I feel whenever I eat ice cream with my art.
