Ok but the parallel of Gamora being a scared little girl on a planet that was crumbling and was being invaded by a cosmic fascist who killed half the people and kidnapped her from her family, raising her as his own and grooming her to be his weapon in his further fascist conquests

#I’m not saying it’s exactly the same thing but it sure as hell rhymes #I just wish loki was able to fully conceptualise his parental situation the way that gamora seemed to be able to #loki yeah he intellectually knows he was kidnapped from his home by the very man who was destroying it #and he knows he was meant to be a pawn his whole life #but the fact that he was younger than gamora when he was taken and didn’t have any memories of his actual family #combined with the fact that his family allegedly left him to die anyway #makes him sort of cling to Odin as a fatherly figure more than he would otherwise #just as a way to distance himself from his actual parents who he sees as even worse #does that make sense?#anyway #loki meta #loki #gamora meta #Gamora #lokimora #gamoraloki #not rly but tagging just in case #mcu #anti odin #something something something the majority of Loki’s ‘villainous’ character traits really did come from Odin
