▸ is your muse tall/short/average? ~180cm / 5′11′’, kinda average height for a man. ▸ are they okay with their height? Yeah. ▸ what’s their hair like? Black, a little grey on the temples. He has it cut pretty short, because as soon as he lets it grow, it gets curly in a floofy way, and it annoys him. ▸ do they spend a lot of time on their hair/with their grooming? Not that much on his hair by virtue of it being pretty short, but his beard is another story. It’s groomed, trimmed pointy. ...If I go by comic canon, it’s groomed enough that he probably uses wax for the point, to keep it curled and a lil’ forked. I hate that forked thing. Anyway a lot of time goes into the beard side of things. ▸ does your muse care about their appearance? Yes. It’s an important part of his role and office and of his society, controlling how he looks, how he appears, what message he sends with his appearance. He’s got eyes on him at all times, and is aware of it.

▸ does your muse care about what others think about them? Yes and no. No, because he doesn’t give a frick if you hate him. Your opinion of his person isn’t going to make or ruin his day, either way, so it’s not a matter of self-confidence. But also yes, because like, if the entire Magisterium hates him, they’re going to kill him. So he cares to the extent to which it’s actually important, in the situations in which it has actual real-life consequences. Public opinion is something to tend to.

▸ indoors or outdoors? Either way, as long as the place is not entirely isolated. ▸ rain or sunshine? Sunshine. ▸ forest or beach? Beach forever. ▸ precious metals or gems? Either. ▸ flowers or perfumes? Perfumes. ▸ personality or appearance? Appearance is a part of personality and directly influenced by it. As far as Radonis is concerned, pretending that they can be neatly divided is an illusion. ▸ being alone or being in a crowd? Crowd. ▸ order or anarchy? Order. ▸ painful truths or white lies? Depends a lot on the truth/lie and whatever serves him best. ▸ science or magic? Magic. ▸ peace or conflict? Peace.

▸ what are some of your muse’s bad habits? architecturally challenging head accessories  honesly... I can’t think of anything that counts as a bad habit. Bad behaviour, sure, but not little things that would count as habits. And I can think of habits, but they’re not necessarily bad ones? Which is kind of weird because I’m sure he has at least one bad habit, I just need to think about this more.

▸ has your muse lost anyone close to them? how has it affected them? He lost his older brother and his father in an assassination attempt. That, I would say, is the one loss of someone close to him that actually impacted him in some way. It made him extremely more aware of death, of the notion that it will come, sooner or later, for everybody. That, if you cannot prevent it, then it’s almost deserved --- it means that you weren’t able to keep your enemies in check. It contributed to making his humour darker, joking about death and loss. In a way, it almost completed the process of desensitising he was already going through. He also lost his uncle and his mother later on, and while it’s never easy, it impacted him to a lesser extent.

▸ what are some fond memories your muse has? Vacations with family, getting his own dracolisk, graduation at the circle, his coronation. Some smaller moments that are entirely private and entirely personal. ▸ is it easy for your muse to kill? A tentative yes. He doesn’t, like, shrug it off like it’s nothing, but it doesn’t really affect him (anymore). In some cases he sees it as necessary, in some others he’s almost untouched, in some situations it regains its weight. So... a tentative yes. ▸ what’s it like when your muse breaks down? It can look like very taut muscles, a frown, tense body and clenched jaw and fists, a little bit of a shake if he doesn’t contain it all inside. It looks a lot like anger and resolves itself in a rather proactive way. When this happens, Radonis is likely to snap out of it by giving orders or otherwise do something. The other option is just... ugly sobbing. You won’t see him like that and it takes a lot to get him there. That mood creeps on him out of the blue when he’s alone and gets himself stuck into deeply, viscerally upsetting trains of thought. Entirely irrational, it’s pretty much an outbreak of emotion that found a little crack and burst out without warning. It lasts only a few minutes, he calms down with breathing, and goes to hug a cat for a while. Then he behaves as if nothing happened.

▸ is your muse capable of trusting someone with their life? Yes. By necessity. He’s forced to trust his guards with his life, and a great deal of people in his staff overall. ▸ what’s your muse like when they’re in love? Like he is when he isn’t. Radonis is not terribly demonstrative and most of the things he would say and do normally are also the things he would say and do when he loves someone. He does have a tendency to get more physically affectionate (he usually keeps some distance and doesn’t allow many people to touch him without being invited to) and to laugh more, though.
