Wanda never quite knew the reaction she would get from people during her travels. It could range from warmth and happiness, to disgust, or instant rejection. In truth, she could understand the cold shoulders better than the friendliness, though it would always hurt each time. It seemed no matter what universe she was in, Wanda Maximoff was not known for her heroic deeds above her mistakes and intended harm.

Her current job as shopkeeper of the Emporium meant travelling a lot, however, so maybe one day she'd be used to the different reactions. Travel was not quite the expected duties of a shopkeeper, but as the Scarlet Witch it made a little more sense. She had been tasked with defending the multi-verse and assisting lost souls.

...Well, alright. Perhaps saying she was 'tasked' with it was unfair and too grand. Wanda had chosen the duty herself as well as having the job forced upon her. What had Darcy said to her ages ago? 'Voluntold'. That was it.

She was wandering, going off on a tangent in her own mind rather than dealing with the person before her. Bucky. Well, was he more of a 'James' in this universe? Did he KNOW of other universes? Hm. Nothing was ever simple. But it was good to see a friendly face. Or at least the face of someone whose company she enjoyed. Sometimes.

"Hello." Short, to the point. Such chats could always go in the wrong direction at any moment, but the redhead was determined to start off on the right foot. "I don't suppose there have been any strange, scythe wielding women passing by recently?" Well, no point beating around the bush, at any rate. "Only I seem to have misplaced a lunatic, and well, I thought I'd come here as it does seem like the..." no, not the Thunderbolts... "like this might be the place to come for some assistance. If that's alright."

"I am happy to provide more information but-- I don't suppose there's any chance of getting a cup of tea? Or coffee, I suppose?"
