In fact I don’t like some hc (although a lot of people like), I don't understand it but I respect it.However, please don't expect me to draw it. In the same way, I will have some hc, I know that some people may not like it but I don't care, I just want to draw what I want to draw. I don't care if people like me.👐 I hope everyone knows that just bc I don't like the hc doesn't mean I hate you
Last but not least, I don’t think Scorpius is self-harming.There are a lot of people who carve tables just for fun,and it doesn't really fit his character for me.No need to convince me. I'm just trying to make my point.thank you.
Posting this because I want to say. I will always feel bad if I don't talk about it.

Going into the 2021-22 season, both Hubbell and Donohue announced it would be the last of their competitive careers. While they had plenty they were still looking to achieve, winning two medals at the Olympic Games and silver at the World Championships, behind the scenes, what came next for Hubbell was beginning to take shape.
"I guess Scott [Moir] kind of voiced on multiple occasions to the coaching team in Montreal that, upon my retirement, he would be interested in having me join his team [in London, Ontario] – that he needed help with the teams that he currently had and to continue growing the school," said Hubbell, who had worked with Moir on choreography as an athlete. "And I had kind of heard from him in that last season things to that effect, but when you're hanging out with Scott Moir, who is an idol and then he mentions that he would like to coach with you, it's kind of like, 'Yeah, yeah. Maybe you're being really nice. I trust you, but are you just complimenting me?'"
But Moir was serious. So, during the final months of her career in March and April of 2022, logistics for moving began to take place. After finishing Stars on Ice, Hubbell began full time as a coach at I.AM with Moir and Díaz in July 2022.
Moir immediately trusted Hubbell to coach Carreira and Ponomarenko as one of her teams, taking charge of their season plan and return to play after Ponomarenko's ankle injury at the end of the previous season.

i don’t know about you guys but the main reason i am still on tumblr in 2024 is BECAUSE it is the most cloutless least influential social media app out there and that is the experience i am after. absolutely none of this will ever translate into significant attention or real success in my life and that is so beautiful.

“kids spend too much time on their devices” well what else are they supposed to do? there’s no corner shops with pinball machines in them on every corner anymore. there’s no malls or stores in small towns for teens to hang out in without being suspected of shoplifting or kicked out for loitering. sidewalks are too broken for them to ride their bikes and there’s no bike lane in the street to make it safe for them. i just don’t understand where they expect these kids to go when they keep taking places away from them. and yes having no safe public places for them is what leads a lot of teens into addiction if they end up at a place where people aren’t truly looking out for them.

slightly furious reminder that fish do in fact feel pain and do in fact experience fear and distress when in pain since people seem to love spreading the myth that fish don't feel pain. what is it with people assuming a creature is incapable of feeling pain or emotion just because it doesn't have complex facial muscles. come on gang

BE A STUDENT OF WHAT YOU ADMIRE
DO IT BADLY RATHER THAN NOT AT ALL
TO DESPAIR IS TO CEDE VICTORY TO THOSE WHO DO NOT DESERVE IT
BROADEN YOUR CULTURAL HORIZONS
REVEL IN THE ANALOGUE
ACTION ABSORBS ANXIETY
GRIEF IS PRODUCTIVE; GUILT IS NOT

was thinking about that one blind professor post earlier today and how well it applied to the aptly named Team Dark
Tumblr media
(really 'Team Dark' just sounds a lot cooler than 'Team Saves-On-Electricity')

I JUST REMEMBERED HEARING AN ELON MUSK QUOTE WHERE HE TALKS ABOUT HOW HE BELIEVES CHESS IS "TOO SIMPLE" OR WHATEVER AND HE SAID HIS FAVORITE GAME WAS A GAME CALLED "POLYTOPIA"
Tumblr media
I JUST REMEMBERED THAT IVE PLAYED POLYTOPIA
It being Elon's favorite game (or at least one so important to him that his biographer dedicates a lot of time to it) is.....really really funny.
Basically, imagine Civilization, but as a mobile game. So like if Civilization Revolution was even more dumbed down (that's a Civilization insult. That's devastating. It's devastated right now). For what it's worth, it's not a bad game. On the contrary, from what I could tell in the little bit of time I played it, it's a perfectly competent game with good design. But it's not a deep game by any means. I played through it once, won easily on my first go, then saw that the other playable characters had barely any differences between them.
Like, not to imply you can judge a book by its cover, but here's what it looks like
Tumblr media
I came across an article by Dave Karpf discussing this exact thing, and I think it describes it wonderfully
