Here's to me being more active in 2025, I miss you all and I miss being active in the fandom like crazy. It's been a nightmare of a year but we're getting there, I got a new drawing tablet and I finally have some time on my hands so you may finally be seeing more of me from now on 💕

Hi howdy hello it's been a minute again - I keep forgetting about posting online and keeping up with stuff. It's hard to nowadays tbh, too much stimulation. For those curious I have been doing some art, but it's very minimal effort or just commissions that most don't care to see. It's been really draining to do anything deemed worthwhile and I kind of have to rely on the occasional spark of motivation to get me to do something personal.

BUT on a better note, I would like to try to post some things here soon. I keep saying that but it's been slow in the OC and fanart department up until recently. The brain juices are flowing again. I have some doodlings from various fixations from the past couple of months, that have piled up, and might throw them on here. It's not very consistent LOL

I have been consumed by my own oc these last months

Send help. I'm currently making a pngtuber of him to use while playing dnd. Idk what compelled me, but yeah I sold my soul to him basically.

I also am not sure if I'll keep making dol content, soooo yeah.

I made this blog solely for DoL at first, so now I'm a bit lost since I already have another blog (that I did not neglect whatsoever, nono, who would even think that)

You will find levels of contentment and joy you never thought possible. You will access a deep understanding and forgiveness of yourself that comes just from hanging out long enough in the same body, and that forgiveness will change everything. Also you may have a regressive depression so intense and long-lasting that it feels like a traumatic brain injury. don't freak out it's normal

This is Birdie! A character I have been holding tight to my chest for a while because his past is super duper mega messed up but I can't help but share because I love him so much.

Quick backstory under the cut. TWs for slavery, body horror, cults, indoctrination, religious themes, abandonment, not handling trauma in a pretty way.

Birdie was born in the Midwest area of the wasteland. I havnt committed to a year yet, but it would be after New Vegas. He was the youngest of 4 living siblings. When he was 8 years old, his father sold him off to a raider group in exchange for leaving the family alone.

The group traveled, and found themselves on the edge of the New Vegas area (indipendant or NCR) about a year later. A bunch of conveluted stuff happened that would take a much longer post to write, and Birdie ended up in the possession of a rich woman who took interest in him because of his pretty voice.

The woman wanted to keep that voice, and so started asking around if there was a way to keep the kid from growing out of it. After a sadly short search she found a doc that would preform a castration on Birdie.

He stayed the woman's slave until he was 16. Then, in a jealous spat, a former lover of her stabbed Birdie in the throat. He survived, but without the one thing that had kept him useful. She tossed him out.

Rapid fire over the next 8 years he figured out his was immune to radiation, joined a ghoul cult, escaped the ghoul cult, headed east, joined the Children of Atom in DC, left with the faction the went up to Far Harbor, and then defected from that group due to disagreeing with the ammount of violence that was happening.

He still preaches the word of Atom, albeit in his own way. Mich less of a doomsday religion, and more of being embraced by the warm glow religion. He's not exactly a GOOD proselytizer, given his disabilities, but he is earnest.

Well, every paragraph there hides a 50k word story yet to be written so if anyone has questions please ask I am desperate to talk about this character.
