Oh boy I don't even know where to start.. the ending was so good holy cow. I mean, I was sad how none of my favorite characters really got happy endings, but at the same time its worm so what can you expect. I thought Taylor's ending was perfect. The whole concept + world building was insanely cool even if I didn't completely understand it lol. Taylor's descent into madness + degeneration was very disorienting and hard to follow but honestly a satisfying payoff watching all the insane things she did finally catch up to her..

My favorite characters are pretty much all the main characters honestly... I cant decide T_T Taylor, Lisa, and Alec are my all time favs but also Amy, Rachel, Aisha, Bonesaw, Noelle.. the more of a trainwreck they are the more i love them i guess. I also really like Dragon, Parian, Genesis, and Sophia (surprisingly). I joke about wanting Trickster to die horribly but its actually endearing how pathetic and annoying he is.

I don't really care for Brian though (not that he doesn't have potential, but he's kinda underused and underdeveloped, and his relationship with Taylor wasn't very believable. honestly wish wildbow did more with his character)

my least favorite characters were probably Armsmaster, Jack (like honestly he's the worst and most corny villain of all time) and Amy and Victoria's parents. I also hated Accord.

My favorite powers are also hard to decide.. powers i'd actually want are probably Genesis's, Lisa's, or Contessa's, except if I had Contessa's power I'd probably go crazy. Taylor's power is pretty cool in concept. Aisha's sounds cool but would also kinda suck. Most of the coolest powers belong to tinkers. If i lived in their universe I'd wish so hard to end up with a tinker power but i'd realistically end up with some lame low-level mental ability.

Favorite arcs? ummmmmm i don't know specific ones but i really liked the travelers' arc, the whole ending is great, and the first few arcs hold a special place in my heart. I really had no idea how crazy the story was gonna get when I started reading it lol. I honestly wish that as it continued it didn't lose so much of those interactions between the undersiders. Taylor's friendships with them and especially watching her interact with Rachel are the best part of the story but i feel like in the last half its just chapter of chapter of Taylor monologuing to herself. I get that it's kinda trying to show how she isolates herself from them but the others hardly get any development after the middle of the story. I mean there's a lot of issues with worm's pacing + structure but that's my main complaint lol.

Sorry I can't give better answers to that cause I honestly forgot a lot of specifics since I finished it T_T but it was definitely one of the best things I've ever read, and I'll probably reread it again. hopefully it wont take me an entire year the second time around.

Anyway, I haven't had much time to draw lately but I'll draw something finale-related soon.. also I'm gonna start ward eventually, so that'll probably give me some more art ideas. i hope Aisha shows up more in it cause i'm very interested to see how she deals with Alec's family lol.

Any thoughts on Moonpaw’s design? Do you plan to make her appearance a bit more unique/utilize the chimera a bit more?

Honestly I think her canon design is pretty fantastic! I don't agree with those who're saying it's not unique lmao, like, the team's never been THIS creative before. She blows Pure Gray Cats 3, 4, and 5 out of the water.

But, boy oh BOY am I gonna have fun with this one. Last night I sketched up a possible combo for each Moonpaw from the options I presented. Whichever one gets picked I'll tweak more, but I went ahead and made a 'base' character design for each one.

Also bonus: Headshots for all of the possible parents. Note the slight update for Stormcloud, I figured out a better way to draw his cheek fluff and changed his stripe pattern a bit

Whatever designs end up not being used for Moonpaw, I'll probably tweak for another new litter. ThriftPlum and ShellFern's hypokits will slot well into the eventual ShellFern litter we (HOPEFULLY) get soon, and with a slight edit, StormCherry's can be a new Honeyfur.

This one's becoming the least likely to happen I think. It could still win if it's the most fitting with the arc, supposing canon ends up writing a strained relationship between Moon and her parents, but based on the preview stuff that's not the case.

Thrift and Plum are a downright deadly united front. They play Good Cop Bad Cop like they're practically telepathic. So I tried to get that across in their headshots.

Plumstone always looks laidback and chill. Thriftear exudes an aura of seriousness.

Their weird child inherits neither of these things. She looks like she eats bugs.

I decided to make this Moonpaw look REALLY fluffy. Plumstone inherited her grandpa Graystripe's body type, so it would be a shame if Moony didn't get it too.

FlipBay

BB!Bayshine is a DustFern descendant. He has his great-grandfather Dustpelt's plate.

The stripes come from grandfather Birchfall, who gave them to mother Duststripe.

Flipclaw is strikingly similar to his grandfather Lionblaze, back before he started balding.

While drawing this one I started trying to play around with the chimera idea more, that she's half of one cat and half of another. When the face plate came into it, it STRUCK me like lighting

It looks like phantom of the opera!!

So I started experimenting with one side being shorter-furred, and got a draft down before moving on to a waaay more in-depth design.

This was the last one I did last night before going to bed, so I'll post the evolution I made in a separate post. It's the one with the most potential thanks to the plate so it got pretty big.

Most Moonpaw designs are chunky, but I've always seen Shellfur as pretty slim. Definitely the slimmest in his recent family-- since Graystripe, the Dapplekin family has been thick and fluffy.

Mix that with Fernstripe, a WindClan cat, I made this Moonpaw resemble some kind of gazelle.

Fernstripe has this long, "fern-shaped" stripe on her body. Paired with Moonpaw's half-black body it looks kind of like stitches which is, imo, cool as fuck

I let her crescent-tufts add to the shape too, they curl in like horns... though, I am worried it looks too much like Curlfeather.

I'll probably give this one another pass if Moonpaw ends up being a ShellFern baby.

Also this take makes her took a bit more grumpy so she's closer in personality to her dad.

StormCherry

This is actually the first one I did

Cherryfall has a perfectly round, cherry-shaped face. She actually looks a ton like her dad, Berrynose.

I wanted to give Moonpaw that same face, because hers is simply a half-moon.

She looks like a stressed-out eevee and I kinda dig it LMAO

In color, this Moonpaw would probably lean more towards red than ginger. I see Cherry as a reddish cat.

She could also inherit Poppy's special red eyes-- she got those from being fetched away from StarClan by Jayfeather. Shadowsight also got them.

The stripe pattern is from Stormcloud. I decided recently that I'm going to try and limit thunder-shaped stripes to the Tigerkin family, something they inherit from Thunderstar himself. So Stormcloud's are now transverse across his body, with a distinct nose snip.

When I finally do decide StormCherry's kits, be that now with Moonpaw or later, I'll standardize Stormy's new stripes by giving him a new fullbody.

"I'm sorry?" A million thoughts roll through his mind as he processes his words said so matter-of-factly.

"Haha, sorry, sorry, I'm only partly joking."

The champion explains the general gist of things as he's met him, Silver, his kid-by-odd-circumstance, was homeless for a while, but was training alongside some other up and coming trainers. Uncovering some Rocket related files, he learns he's the son of the boss of the entire organization, and after some on and off meetings he eventually got him a place to stay at the Dragon's Den, and soon after began living with him at his place when he warmed up to the idea of adoption.

There are times he gets overwhelmed with all that he's been through, and some nights its all too much. But Lance was there with him, stayed with him every step of the way, unlike the one who gave him that abandonment anxiety in the first place.

"He's my kid, not by blood, and maybe not by his family, either. But instead, by his own decision he chose to stay with me. I'd want him to keep the freedom he has now." Lance states, firmly. "And now he's grown up as strong as I believed he could. I'm proud of him, as much as he tends to deny that." Riley senses his draconic aura swell with pride, mixed with a humbling sincerity in his words.

"What about you? Any kids of your own?" the sudden flip of the question surprises the guardian briefly.

"N-Nothing adoptive but…I suppose it's similar, in a way to meeting them as you have."

The guardian's turn, now. Dawn was someone he met when he was training on Iron Island, and also served as a guide to get her through the caverns. When he felt something off in the aura surrounding the area, he eventually learned of Galactic causing the pokemon on the island to feel restless and agitated. With her, they were able to clear the island of their antics and even gifted her a Riolu egg on her journey. From there, he was impressed with how strong she was, and did hear from Cynthia that she raised his present up to evolving her into a Lucario. He couldn't have been happier.

That was the case, until he caught the aftermath of the events of Mt. Coronet.

What Cyrus did, the lengths he'd go to, and dragging the both of them into a mess that could have torn the world apart.

After that, Dawn stayed home for a while. Cynthia put him as a contact for her mom, who was really worried for her. With his aura and her friends, Lucas and Barry, they were a big help for her recovery. And eventually, after a lot of time and work, she became the region's champion. She messages every now and then to him, as processing any trauma is never an easy road, but he realized how lucky she was to have the people she'd met to keep her steady, and knew she'll be alright.

"I...still wish I could've done more for her," Riley says, quieter. "Cynthia told me about what happened in that other world, and it...it was a lot for Dawn, a lot of emotions to help her figure out." he finishes, sheepish.

"…I don't blame you for feeling that way, I wouldn't know what to do in a scenario like that, either." the champion says, unsure too.

"It's amazing, in a way. All these kids going through so much on their own. I'd be proud were it not so scary, realizing how young they are to go through what they have been through."

"There's only so much you really can do, as an adult. I've realized that fact a long time ago." Lance's aura felt oddly melancholic, as bright and pretty as it may appear. "It's either immediate or slow when things change for them, and sometimes you'll have to make a choice on the spot when the time comes for them to decide what they want to do." It sounds like he’s speaking from experience, but the melancholy makes it appear that he's had some regrets.

“I trust in them to find their own path, eventually. When they’re together, those kids are gonna be alright on their own.”

His reassurance helped, even if only by a small amount.

I should make some kind of master post about them at some point but WAH god I’m so happy I can actually put them together in pokemon masters, they’ve really grown on me and I’ve developed a lot for the both of them in my free time, but yeah this is the rarepair that’s been on my brain for ages now, a gaze into my goo brain 🤪

The best way to get into the Transformers mindset and learn something about it is to either watch one of the series/movies or read the IDW or Skybound comics. The fastest way is, of course, to watch something.

If you don't mind watching stuff on YouTube, the official Transformers YouTube channel has uploaded episodes of several Transformers series. You can check out their playlists for a series that might tickle your fancy, or your friend has brought up before: https://www.youtube.com/@TransformersOfficial/playlists. Not all series are on there, unfortunately, but you can always put on a pirate hat and take to virtual sea if you don't have access to streaming services hosting these series.

If you don't have the time to watch series/movies or read comics, there is always the TFwiki which hosts info about every character and series in existence, and even does episode/issue summaries. The site may be overwhelming to dig through as a new fandom goer because there is just ssoooo much info to soak up (forty years worth!), but it can be helpful if you need to look something up.

Transformers are a robotic race called Cybertronians from the planet Cybertron. These large robotic aliens can transform into vehicles or devices and survive on an energy source they call energon.

There are two prominent factions present on Cybertron: the Autobots and the Decepticons. As their name implies, Autobots take on the appearance of (recreational) vehicles like cars or motorcycles to blend in better on Earth (robots in disguise, da da da da daaa) while the Decepticons turn into more destructive (war) vehicles and weaponry like tanks and jets. This is usually the norm but there are some exceptions as there are Decepticons with car alt-modes. And then there are also boomboxes, cassettes and cassette players, memory sticks, and microscope alt-modes, to name a few that aren't vehicle-centered. The options are endless, as long as they serve a purpose.

Unfortunately, the two factions have been at war on Cybertron and neighboring planets for 4 million years, and have nearly depleted the planet(s) of its resources. To survive and hopefully win the war, the Autobots go on a voyage into deep space to try and find more. The Decepticons give chase, only for them all to crashland on Earth and be stuck there.

It takes centuries for them to wake from the crashlanding, but when they do, they find out Earth is an energon utopia and the Decepticons are eager to conquer the planet and take it all for themselves. The Autobots take a stance against them and try to protect Earth and its people, leading to several ties and friendships with humans (but also wobbly alliances).

November status update!

So! Spooky month is over and now we are at November! so here's my monthly update!

🌼Social Media management

So first I wanted to give a bit of a announcement given the difficult situation with artists and social media in recent times, specially on Twitter and the recent choices they've made, I've been thinking on what to do 🤔

I've come to the conclusion to only post full art on certain sites that are more for art and artists and the rest will be cropped art or very tiny version of them (not full resolution or quality)

But yeah, social media management is something I was very messy about, and in recent months I haven't been able to keep up with everything about it so I needed to make some kind of order in there

nah, I tried but I gave up on it pretty quick lol, I've been pretty stressed up with work and side personal projects that I just didn't make the time to draw too much of that lol

it was kinda funny how quickly I lost steam with that 😅 but well it's not an obligation, maybe next year I'll be able to be a little bit more consistent and have more energy for that.

🌼Commissions:

So I finished the batch I got on August, though there's still a comic pages commission from that but I'm putting that and one I got last month together.

as for the batch I got on October, I got a bit behind it, mostly because I was trying to finish with the previous batch first, so this next week I'll work more on the current batch for sure! 👍

hopefully I'm able to finish all chibis next week at least!

still not finished with the new items to put on the shop, and I haven't started yet with holiday themed things, hopefully this upcoming week I get more time for that, I just gotta really make some kind of order in my schedule lol 😅

Other than that, I guess the megaman X fan comic is coming along quite nicely, I'm still working on the inks, but dialogue has been more defined thanks to a friend of mine and there's about 7 pages left to ink!

i Haven't read your fics Yet, but i'm very excited to because i love acotar oc content and world building

and while looking through your oc lists, i was really happy to see some lesser fae in there because i personally love exploring the politics and social dynamics of high fae and lesser fae through my own ocs

all of which leads me to my question, and i'm sorry if you've already addressed this in one of your stories, but--

how do you think the treatment of lesser fae varies by court ? because i imagine they all have different tolerances (and propaganda that they spread) for lesser fae of all sorts, but i'd love to hear some of your thoughts / headcanons if you have any !

Hi! 👋 Awww well I'm glad you revealed yourself! I hope my answer and information I provided was helpful for you. I looked earlier today through your blog at your art and you have so many OCs! You have such a cute style! I was very impressed.

And yay! So happy you looked through my OC lists. I spent sooooo much time putting those together. I've been developing all my OCs through fics so making little picrews representations of them with some summaries and how they all are linked together was really fun to make. I'm glad someone checked them out!

But thank you for your question! It's not really one I've addressed directly. I do think there is a lot of court specific politics around the lesser fae. The fic I think I get into the most of my lesser fae lore is Summer Heat. I get a lot more into how Tarquin's vision for changing the treatment of lesser fae in his own court is starting to take root. The underlying setting for that fic is really about Tarquin announcing to the world that there will be a lack of political divides between the High and lesser fae and he has lesser fae represented in his court and they are starting initiatives to help improve equity in his court. I also developed some headcanons about how the lesser fae have their own religious customs for how they worship the mother, even having their own order of priestesses. That fic also has a lot of my headcanons about Jesminda and her race of faeries - which I think lesser fae are much more subjugated in Autumn than in other courts. Overall, even in the most lenient of courts (perhaps Dawn and Summer) there is a lot of classism and racism where the High Fae, even the common ones, see themselves as better than the lesser fae, and have more access to jobs and other privileges because they look similar to the noble families who are all High Fae.

Patty is probably my most well developed lesser fae OC. He is Alexius' best friend and he belongs to a desert dwelling race of faerie. I see Day as a court where lesser fae have very distinct roles, similar to the Night Court. I've dropped a few bits of lore here and there, but I see his race (the smicor) as very fierce, relying on hiding, sneaking around, and disguising themselves which made their subjugation very formidable for the High Fae of Day, and eventually it gave them some political protections within Day to control their own lands outside of the direct rule of the High Lord. Patty is mentioned or featured in quite a few of my Eris x Alexius fics, but most prominently Pull Me In Deeper.

I'm actually currently working on another fic that hopefully I'll post before the end of June that will get a lot more into the Autumn Court and Jesminda's race of faeries. It'll take place in a post-Beron, High Lord Eris time period, where he is enacting some changes to the political landscape in Autumn.

She truly is the master when it comes to worldbuilding for the ACOTAR verse, especially when thinking about lesser fae races across the courts and how it fits within their political structures. Her fanfic A Court of Embers and Sunlight is PACKED FULL of OCs and worldbuilding that she has created for lesser fae in Autumn and beyond. I highly recommend it to anyone who is interested in that sort of thing. I am always in such awe and inspired by how much attention to detail she has and the deep thinking she has committed to world building.

Hi, an update;

Long story short, I got the messages. I loved them and I love you people. I'm trying my best to get back into it so I may lovingly annoy you again.

For a more expansive and far less wholesome update see below the cut. It's been a hot minute.

I'm... alive. That's the word. I guess. Solved the main issue I mentioned last post at work and then some. Felt great working on it, solving it, being recognised. The usual shit yk. Crashed just about the same day that stress was gone. Went to renfair regardless. Was great. Saw the bands I wanted to see, bought a dope new sword for the ever growing collection. But by grace of dealing with the hidden lovechild of a bipolar disorder and bpd that was raised by depression, aka the wonderous thing that calls itself atypical depression, that bout of feeling alive lasted just about as long as it was happening and I crashed even harder afterwards. Fun times. Went back to work. Worked even more, stressed myself more. Then my wrists started to hurt. Perhaps if I was a sane being I would've called it quits when it was still manageable but alas I am not. Yesterday, I decided to cave and visit my doc. He decided due to tenosynovitis I will not be returning to work this month. The good thing about that is that my colleagues won't have to suffer from seeing me wearing a hoodie and turtleneck in 30°C while they're boiling alive and I'm mourning the loss of my heater. The bad thing is that I am now stuck at home, in pain, and not even allowed to play games or draw to keep my mind of things. Which is one of the other reasons I've been absent. Apparently brain decided I am not allowed on social media unless I have something to show for it, but with spending just about every free second asleep my mermay wip has become somewhat of a merjune and now more of a merjuly prospect. And well holding things is painful so there's that too I guess.

I'm working on returning, but I'm still gonna need a moment. Regardless, what I said above the cut holds true. Means a lot to me, geniunly. Probably gonna sound stupid if I put it that way but its like physical evidence my brain is just a lil bitch and I'm not universally despised. Keep looking at them every once in a while when its bad.

Either way yeah, lots of fun. But that'll pass too eventually. And until it does I have skills and an emergency plan if it gets real bad, made it out before, will do it again, apparently I'm a cockroach in that regard. Or just too spiteful to prove someone right. Whatever it is, just gotta survive this one and once all is wrapped up I'll be back to being the usual me, insane about two fictional guys and their tragedies. Which I've discovered not at all about them apparently. I'll expand on that one as soon as writing stops hurting. But in the meantime y'all better keep being beautifully brained, creative and talented people so I can hopefully soon stalk y'alls blogs and be insane in ur tags about your dolls and their adventures again. I miss the stuff y'all r getting up to, finding posts that remind me of ur dolls or u guys and just you people in general. Until then y'all keep well (and debauched, this is still tumblr after all)
