askbox question because i've never thrown like, a 'request/idea' offering sorta post out there:

what do you want to see in tough and sweet? like, specific dates you'd like to see the boys go on, certain tropes covered, different kinks/nsfw scenes, scenarios and convos tackled, idk literally anything!

i'm curious because i used to brainrot about it lots here before i started actually writing it but then i stopped so i wouldn't spoil things, and while i'm ofc writing what i love and want to write, it's fun to know what readers wanna read, and to try to incorporate those things where i can. :-) but also my list of scenes to include is So Long i feel like so many ideas will already be in my drafting doc LOL <3

i have the whole fic plotted out, but lots of room for little things in between the bigger plot points, so! no promises obvi, but i'd love to hear your thoughts. the main one i get asked for in comments/asks is about writing a gale pov oneshot, which i'm most definitely doing– sooner than you think. >:) lmkkk, anon is fine!! if i don't reply, i promise i read it, i just have 100+ asks rn and too much to do irl but i appreciate each one soso much :'))

"Goooooood evenin'!!" Comes the loud greeting from a certain blond man. A big smile on his face and all.

"We beg your pardon for our prolonged absence. It was completely beyond our control..." Then adds the gentleman standing by his side, apologizing on behalf of both, offering a genuine smile along with the apology.

"...BUT! We're back!" And hopefully for good this time…

Hey, Lance... who were those (non-Red) people in the school? Do you know why they were there, and why they seemed less effected by how... corrupted and awful everything is?

"... You must mean the children in Mr. Fuji's home, right?"

You nod. In return, Lance hums softly.

"Truth be told... This path you walk- it is not isolated just to yourself. It follows you- clings to you, it is yours. But the places you tread through... the spillage of our world to yours, it seems to spread like an infection.

Most people from your home seem to just... Vanish. Gone into some ether, unconscious and left to wait until things are set straight. But it appears that those lucky three found an inexplicable safe haven in Lavender Town."

He narrows his eyes, seeming to think hard about something.

"... What I gather- there was a nameless Lass who seemed to have been volunteering at that location, a curious Bug Catcher who wandered in as things started to break, and... your brother, was it?"

You nod quickly. "Yes- my brother, Red."

"RED..." he echoes under his breath. He quickly shakes his head.

"It seems he was there because he was looking for you. Waiting for you so he could... tell you something, I believe."

You can feel your heart leap for joy- so he did care enough to come and look-! To go out of his way, just for you, despite the danger...!

Lance looks down at you, as your expression must've visibly lit up at his remark. His own reaction to your joy is... unreadable, though.

"Well... my point," he continues, "is that it was no quality of the children that has saved them from this place- but some other force keeping the building itself safe. It could be several things, perhaps a mix- Fuji's home was always a well respected safe haven for all lonesome things, after all. I don't think even the worst of souls would violate that. But....."

He trails off, seemingly unsure of how to continue.

"... Your brother is something very special, don't you think...?"

WHERE: DIY pop-up shoppe at rabbit creek; gingerbread house building table WHEN: 17th december, daytime WHO: anyone! ( @anchoragestarters ) CAP: FULLY CAPPED AS OF 14th JANUARY

On paper, this had seemed like the perfect opportunity for Rika. She'd been wanting to reach out more, to try and take part in the living breathing community of Anchorage instead of living as a shadow behind the beaded curtains of her room at the Raven House. The popup had a wonderfully festive atmosphere and the air seemed to Rika as though it hung thick with the excitement and curiosity of its guests and volunteers. As expected, the gingerbread station smelled pleasantly of sugar, spice and (of course) everything nice. This volunteering spot required a few things, of course; a hint of craftiness, a dash of creativity, a generous sprinkling of baking talent and a heaped spoonful of patience. These were standards Rika could meet easily enough, even if the patience required just the smallest stretch of extra effort. She'd known from the start that she would be a little out of her depths, lacking much experience with gingerbread houses due to their lack of a cultural presence during the holiday back home, but she'd gotten the hang of things quickly enough.

That wasn't exactly a good thing. Rika was good at getting carried away, at getting far too invested in the house she was putting together, and she may have gotten distracted from her role of guiding others through their own gingerbread creations. It was only her view of her work was darkened by the shadow of another person that she finally broke free from her spiced reverie. "I'll be with you in just a moment," she said by way of apology, whipping her head up with such abrupt speed that several locks of hair broke free from their loose ponytail binding. "I'm just trying to turn this...hmph, sugar glass into a window for my church." She grunted a little as she spoke. It was tricky work. Still, just as Rika said, there sat on the table before her an overly complicated little gingerbread chapel, still half-built. "Did you need any help? After all, that's what I'm here for!" A pause, and she tucked her hair back behind her ear. "Sorry, I guess I haven't made that very obvious so far, have I?"
