You open his chat window again like it’s muscle memory. Like your thumb don't know how to not betray you.
It’s not even about sending something. You’ve got no intention of doing that. At least, that’s what you tell yourself. But the screen is always open, staring back at you with that last unread message you sent almost a week ago — a throwaway meme you found on your lunch break. No reply. Not even a reaction.
And it hadn’t felt like a big deal in the moment. You sent it like always, light and dumb and nothing. But then the nothing kept going. No little gray typing bubble. No 'lol.' No double text. No late night 'you up?' Just this wall of silence.
You would’ve rather gotten a dry reply. Hell, even a thumbs up. Anything to prove that he saw you.
But now it’s been long enough that sending something new would feel desperate. Like you’re chasing him. Like you’re asking for something you’re not even supposed to want.
You lock your phone and throw it face down on your bed.
Then pick it back up five seconds later.
Then toss it again, harder, as if that’ll prove something.
You wish you were mad. You think you are mad — at least a little. But it’s a tangled kind of anger. One that knots itself up with embarrassment and sharp, bitter shame. You want to scream at him, yeah. But also at yourself.
Why did you let this happen?
Why did you let him blur the lines and kiss you like that and touch you like he meant it?
You were supposed to be smarter than this.
You lie back across your bed with one arm flung over your eyes. It’s stupid. You know it’s stupid. It was just sex. Just two nights. Two insanely good, dangerously close, way-too-connected nights. But still — technically just sex.
Except it wasn’t.
Not when he remembered your favourite sauce order without asking. Not when he brushed a loose strand of hair behind your ear while you ranted about work.
And especially not when he went cold the second things felt too good.
That’s what keeps twisting the knife. That shift in him. Like someone flipped a switch and rewrote the script. One minute, he was holding you like you mattered. The next, you were stepping out of his bathroom and into a stranger’s apartment.
You haven’t heard his voice since.
You bite the inside of your cheek and squeeze your eyes shut, trying to push down that lump of feeling before it rises too high.
It’s fine. You’re fine. You’re overthinking it.
Maybe he’s just going through something. Maybe he didn’t mean to shut you out. Maybe he thought you didn’t want to hear from him. Or maybe he’s just a fucking coward who got scared when the stakes changed.
But then, why didn’t you reach out?
Why didn’t you ask if he was okay, or tell him he was being weird, or demand an explanation like you’re owed one?
Because you’re afraid.
Because you don’t want the truth if the truth is that he regrets all of it.
Because deep down, you know this isn’t just a friendship anymore, and pretending it is would break you worse than silence.
Your phone buzzes once on the comforter beside you.
You freeze. Then sit up fast, breath catching halfway in your throat.
Your eyes are already scanning the screen before your brain can fully catch up.
Kook 🍜: hi
One word. Just hi. Like the last seven days didn’t happen. Like your stomach hasn’t been in knots trying to make sense of his silence. Like he didn’t vanish without warning after folding you into his sheets and leaving you to figure out what the hell it meant.
Your breath leaves you in one uneven exhale.
You blink at the message, your body locked in this strange stillness. Your thumb hovers, frozen. Part of you is tempted to stare at it until it disappears. Ignore it. Let him feel what it’s like to be the one left hanging. But your hands betray you again — just like they always do with him.
You: Radio silence for a week and all I get is a fucking hi? Wtf Jungkook
It’s not even what you really want to say, but it’s the closest thing you can manage that doesn’t sound like I missed you so much it made me sick or please don’t do this again.
Three dots appear.
Your heart squeezes like it’s caught in someone’s fist. And then the dots vanish.
Then come back.
Then vanish again.
You mutter, “Fucking say something,” to no one. It comes out too small, too desperate. You shut your eyes tight for a second like you can wring the feeling out of yourself by force.
A minute or so passes before his reply finally sends.
Kook 🍜: sorry. can i talk to you today?
You reread it so many times the text starts to lose meaning. Can I talk to you today?
You feel sick.
There’s no way you don’t know what this is. The phrasing. The tone. He wants to talk? What the fuck else could that mean, if not that he’s about to cut things off? That he’s going to hand you some polite little speech about how you’re great, but this can’t happen again. That he wants to stay friends and he doesn’t want to confuse things any more than he already has.
Or worse — he thinks you guys are better off cutting contact all together.
You bite down hard on your thumb, suddenly on the verge of tears and furious at yourself for it. You should’ve never let it get here. You should’ve drawn the line before the second time. Before the car. Before the party.
You should’ve been more careful with your heart.
But you’re here now. So far past the line you can’t even see it anymore.
You open your keyboard, then close it again. You want to ask what he wants to talk about. You want to demand answers over text so you don’t have to see his face when he says the words. But you know you won’t get anything that way.
You: Where?
Kook 🍜: i can come to yours
You sit there for a second, just breathing. You feel like you’re bracing for a crash that’s already midair.
You: What time?
Kook 🍜: i can be there in an hour?
You don’t answer. Not right away. You’re too busy staring at your reflection in the dark screen, wondering why your face looks so calm when your body feels like it’s trying to collapse in on itself.
You: Okay
You put the phone down carefully, like it might go off again, or explode, and turn your gaze to the ceiling. Every minute after this is going to stretch like it’s mocking you.
You don’t know if you’re getting closure or clarity. You don’t even know which one would hurt more.
But you know you won't cancel.
Because if this is going to end — if he’s going to say it — it has to be to your face. You need to see it.
You need to know for sure.
Jungkook is fucked.
Like, actually, cosmically, irreversibly fucked.
He stares at the elevator doors like they’re the gates to hell, and his own reflection in the brushed metal does him no favours. He looks tense. Jaw tight, shoulders hunched up high like he’s trying to fold himself into a more manageable version. Someone chill. Someone who isn’t about to shit himself over the thought of seeing you.
He rolls his shoulders back, shakes out his hands. Useless. He’s already sweating through his hoodie.
Every nerve in his body feels like it’s tuned an octave too high. Like if someone so much as breathes in his direction right now, he’ll either snap or confess something humiliating.
He wipes his palms on his jeans again. That’s the fourth time since the lobby.
The worst part is, he knows how he got here. He knows exactly when it happened, too — the moment the line moved.
It was your laugh. The tired kind, all cracked at the edges after that hellish Friday you had. You were curled up in his passenger seat, half out of it, feet tucked under you, and you’d looked over at him with that soft, worn-down smile.
And it just… hit him.
The weight of it. Of you.
He wanted to reach over and touch your face. Not to tease. Not to start something. Just to feel your skin under his fingers like it was allowed now.
And the second that thought formed — clear and blinding and way too tender — it was over. Game fucking over.
Because it wasn’t supposed to feel like that.
You’re his best friend. Have been for years. He knows how you take your coffee, how you organise your playlists by mood, how you chew on the inside of your cheek when you're anxious. You’re not just some girl he hooked up with at a party. You’re you.
And now, he’s standing in an elevator on the way to your apartment, trying not to think about how badly he messed it all up.
He hadn’t meant to ghost you. Not really. It was just — after that night, after the way you looked at him, all warm and trusting — he panicked. Full-body, brain-scrambling, total system failure. He couldn’t even look at you without feeling like he was seconds from saying something stupid like "Don’t sleep with anyone else, please," or "I think I’m in love with you."
So instead, he shut down. Did the one thing he always swore he wouldn’t do with you — he pulled away. Got weird. Avoided it. Avoided you.
And now you’re pissed.
Rightfully so.
He deserved that text you sent. Probably worse. You could’ve ignored him completely and he wouldn’t have blamed you. But you didn’t. You texted back and he’s clinging onto that like a lifeline. Because it means there’s still time. Still a chance to fix it — if he doesn’t blow it again.
He presses the heel of his hand to his chest like that might steady the erratic rhythm of his heart.
What the fuck is he even going to say?
Sorry for being an emotionally constipated idiot?
Sorry I ghosted you because I realised I’m in love with you and it short-circuited my whole fucking personality?
Sorry I thought I could fuck you and still keep pretending like you don’t mean more to me than anyone else?
The elevator dings.
Jungkook flinches like it slapped him, then scrubs a hand through his hair, lets out a tight breath, and steps through the doors before he can change his mind.
He’s here.
Fuck. He’s actually here.
Jungkook looks like he didn’t sleep last night. Hair messy, clothes a little wrinkled, eyes flicking up to meet yours for a second before they dart away again. His hands are shoved into the pockets of his jacket like he’s afraid of what they’ll do if left unsupervised.
You tell yourself not to feel relieved. Not to let it show. He didn’t cancel. He showed up. That shouldn’t mean as much as it does. It really, really shouldn’t.
But still — there’s something in your chest that unclenches when you see him standing there, real and present. Even if he does look like he’s about to apologise for burning down your house or something.
“Hey,” he says, voice quiet.
You step back from the door to let him in. Dry. Wordless. The move is automatic, but your body feels stiff with it, like your own muscles are annoyed on your behalf.
He hesitates before stepping inside, like he thinks the floor might swallow him up. You don't offer a smile. Don't even look at him once the door’s closed behind him.
You cross your arms and lean back against the edge of the kitchen counter, watching him with a blank expression that’s only half-real. The other half is tightly coiled under your skin — anger, sure, but under that, all the feelings you’ve been pretending not to have.
He does a slow, uncertain glance around your apartment like something might’ve changed since the last time he was here. But it hasn’t. It’s still your place. Same plants, same overhead light humming softly, same faint scent of laundry detergent that clings to the air.
He stands there awkwardly, shifting his weight from one foot to the other. It’s like he doesn’t know where to put his body.
You’ve never seen him like this before. Not around you. Jungkook’s always been comfortable here. The kind of comfortable that leaves shoes by the door without asking. The kind that opens your fridge like he owns a shelf. But right now, he looks like a stranger in someone else’s house.
You let the silence stretch out. You’re waiting for him to just speak, but he doesn’t
He doesn’t even try.
Eventually, your voice cuts through the air, a little too sharp. “Jungkook, you said you wanted to talk.”
His head snaps up like he forgot that was part of the deal. Like the fact that he came here at all already cost him everything he had in reserve.
“Yeah,” he says. His throat moves when he swallows. “I do.”
You raise your eyebrows, waiting.
He opens his mouth like he’s about to start, then closes it again. Shifts his stance. Rubs the back of his neck with one hand. You catch the way his eyes flick to the floor, then back to you, then away again.
You narrow your eyes. “Well?”
He breathes out a weak, almost bitter laugh and runs both hands down his thighs, like he’s physically trying to ground himself. “I don’t know how to do this,” he mutters.
You frown, arms still crossed tight across your chest. “What? Talk?”
You hate being like this towards him — you feel like a bitch. But it’s the only way that you can stop yourself from just spilling all of your thoughts and feelings to him.
“No, I—” He breaks off, jaw flexing. “No. I mean… say the right thing. Say any of it without sounding like an idiot.”
You blink, unimpressed. “So you came here without knowing what you were gonna say.”
He looks at you then. Fully. And for the first time since he walked in, you see the real wreckage behind his eyes. There’s nothing cool or casual about it. He’s unravelling in slow motion. Everything about him is quiet desperation wrapped in someone trying really hard not to fall apart.
“I didn’t know what to say because I didn’t know what I wanted,” he says finally. “And then I figured it out, and that somehow made it worse.”
You stay silent.
He shifts closer, not by much — just a few inches. “I fucked up,” he adds, voice barely above a whisper. “I know I did. I know I disappeared. I didn’t mean to make you feel like I didn’t care. I was just—” he stops, jaw tightening again. “I got scared.”
You scoff under your breath and look away.
“I’m serious,” he says, softer now. “It freaked me out. How fast it happened. How much it changed.”
You look back at him, jaw set. “What changed?”
He swallows again. Stiff. His voice cracks a little when he speaks next.
“You,” he says again. “How I feel about you. That changed.”
Your chest tightens.
You don’t react, not visibly. You keep your face still, unreadable, even though your brain is suddenly scrambling. You’ve been yanked in too many directions this past week. You’re not going to lean into hope just because he finally decided to speak.
So you say nothing. You just hold his gaze and wait.
Jungkook takes a breath, his shoulders rising with it, then falling in a slow, deliberate exhale. The nervousness is still there — but it’s settled into something quieter now.
“I kept trying to tell myself it didn’t mean anything,” he says. “That it was just— whatever. Two friends, getting carried away. We were drunk the first time, right? It was easy to lie to myself about that. Easy to say it didn’t have to go anywhere.”
His voice is calm, but there's tension underneath it.
“But the second time?” He pauses, tongue running along the inside of his cheek, eyes still locked on yours. “That wasn’t drunk. That wasn’t casual. That was me driving us across town just to make you feel better, because I can’t stand it when you’re not okay.”
You flinch — barely — but he sees it. You know he does.
“And then it was me kissing you like I’d lose my mind if I didn’t. You think I didn’t notice how different that felt? I’ve never kissed you like that before. And I haven’t stopped thinking about it since.”
The weight of his words hangs in the air between you.
You’re still standing by the counter, arms crossed, but now your grip has loosened. You hate how much this is getting to you, how badly you want to give in, how your chest aches just hearing him say the things you’d only let yourself think when the lights were off and your phone screen was dark.
Jungkook takes another step toward you.
“When I brought you back to mine that night… when you came out of the shower, and I saw you just standing there in my space, looking at me like I was safe…” His voice catches, but not in a way that makes him crumble — just enough to show the truth of it. “I freaked the fuck out.”
You blink at him, finally speaking. “Yeah. I noticed.”
He huffs out a breath that's almost a laugh, but not quite. “I didn’t mean to shut down. I didn’t even know what I was doing in the moment. I just— everything in me wanted to pull you close, and that’s when I realised I couldn’t keep doing this the way we were doing it. Not without losing my shit every time you left.”
Your throat feels tight, but you still ask, “So you decided to ghost me instead?”
That lands. His jaw flexes, and he nods once. “Yeah. I did. I thought if I gave it space, I could go back to being normal. Go back to just being your friend. But I couldn’t. I can’t.
“I don’t want to be just your friend anymore. Not because of the sex, not because it was good— which it was, but that’s not the point. It’s you. It’s always been you. I didn’t realise how much until I almost lost it completely.”
You swallow hard. Your arms are uncrossed now. Not folded in, not defensive — just hanging at your sides like you’re too stunned to remember what to do with them.
Jungkook steps in closer. Not touching you yet. But near enough that you can smell him — faint cologne, his laundry detergent, the scent you associate with your car windows fogging up.
“I missed you,” he says, and his voice turns softer. “Every day. And it scared the shit out of me, how badly I wanted to talk to you. Touch you. Just be around you. I wasn’t ready to admit it last week, and I was a coward for that. But I’m not running anymore.”
Silence again.
Except it doesn’t feel like the ones you’ve been drowning in for a week.
“I don’t know what you’re feeling,” he says, lower now, like the words might break if he’s too loud. “And I’m not assuming anything. But if you still want me around— really want me— just say the word. I’ll figure out the rest.”
You inhale slowly, try to even out your breathing, but your chest still feels like it’s barely holding together. Your heart’s doing that thing where it thuds too hard without speeding up.
You hate that you believe him. That you always would’ve. That no matter how angry you were, no matter how cold you tried to be when he walked in — you still wanted him to explain, to prove it wasn’t what your worst thoughts told you it was.
And now he has.
He’s standing in front of you with open hands, with the words you oh so desperately wanted to hear. And for a moment, you’re not sure what to do with that.
“I hate you,” you say quietly.
It’s not true. Not even close. But it’s the first thing that leaves your mouth.
Jungkook huffs out a dry laugh, eyes dropping to the floor. “Yeah,” he murmurs, nodding. “I figured.”
You shake your head once. “No. I mean it. I fucking hate you for this. For—” You break off, because your voice is shaking now. “For making me feel like I was crazy. For not even saying goodnight after… after everything.”
His face tightens, but he doesn’t interrupt.
“You could’ve just told me,” you go on. “You could’ve said it was too much. That it got weird. That you needed time. Anything. But you disappeared. And I had to sit here wondering if I made it all up."
You pause, pressing your lips together.
“And I— I missed you too, you know,” you add, quieter this time.
His mouth opens like he might speak, but no sound comes out at first. Instead, he closes the space between you by half, slow and steady, like he’s afraid of pushing too far.
“God, you’re such an asshole,” you whisper, but your tone isn't mean. Not even close.
He laughs, soft and low. “Yeah. I know.
“You promise me you’re sure? Cause Jungkook, I will fucking cut off your dick if you pull this shit again.”
He smiles but doesn’t hesitate. “I promise. I’ve never been more sure of anything in my life.”
You stare at him.
Long enough that the air between you stretches taut, thin as thread.
His hand twitches like he wants to reach for you but still doesn’t know if he’s allowed. His jaw flexes, his chest rising and falling in uneven swells. You can tell he’s waiting — for a sign, for a go-ahead, for you.
And even though part of you still wants to be mad, still wants to make him sweat just a little longer, the rest of you aches. For his mouth. For his hands. For the solid, grounding weight of him.
So you move.
You step into the last inch of space between you and grab the front of his hoodie. He exhales like he’s been holding his breath for a year, but you don’t give him a chance to say anything.
You kiss him.
Not out of impulse. Not for show. You kiss him because you need to. Because your chest feels like it’s going to split open if you don’t.
At first, it’s quiet. Just lips pressed to lips — careful, slow. There’s a pause between each pass of your mouth over his, like you’re both trying to remember how this started. How you even got here.
But then he sighs against you — not loud, not dramatic, just a sound full of relief — and it unravels something.
His hands lift, hesitating for only half a second before they settle on your waist, fingers curling tight. You press closer, and his lips part beneath yours. The angle shifts. Your nose bumps his cheek. It’s not perfect, but it’s real, and when your tongue brushes his, everything tilts.
The sweetness melts fast.
He makes a sound low in his throat and drags you in like the distance is unbearable. Your hands slide up into his hair, fingers threading through the strands at the base of his neck, and the way he reacts — the little shiver he tries to swallow — sends heat straight down your spine.
You kiss him harder.
His body crowds yours until your back meets the wall. Not rough, not rushed. Just firm. His chest presses to yours, and you can feel the way his heart races. How your own pulse kicks up to match it.
The kiss deepens, turns messy at the edges. His teeth catch your bottom lip and your breath stutters, but you don’t pull back. You tilt your chin, chasing more, and the next time he kisses you, it’s hungrier. One of his hands slips to the small of your back, palm dragging slow and warm beneath your shirt. The skin-to-skin contact makes your whole body twitch.
You gasp into his mouth, and he swallows the sound, his hands tightening. His other arm slips around your waist completely, pulling you flush against him, and suddenly you’re not thinking anymore. You’re just feeling.
The tension that’s been bottling up between you two — the silence, the week of wondering, the ache of missing him so much it hurt — it all floods to the surface.
You fist your hands in his hoodie, yanking him impossibly closer. Your hips shift forward, just enough to brush him, and the sound he makes is sharp and involuntary, caught between a breath and a groan.
“Fuck,” he mutters, barely pulling back. His forehead presses to yours, breath ragged. “You’re driving me insane.”
You huff, lips brushing his. “That’s fair.”
Then he kisses you again. Rougher this time. Desperate in a way that makes your knees go soft.
He doesn’t stay at your mouth for long. His lips trail down — your jaw, your cheek, the shell of your ear. His breath is hot and uneven, and when he finds your neck, your whole body reacts. Your hands clutch at him, your back arches off the wall, and the soft sound that escapes your throat isn’t one you mean to make.
He feels it. Hears it. Answers it with a low, reverent sound that seems to vibrate straight through you.
His tongue traces the spot beneath your ear, slow and deliberate, and your eyes flutter shut.
Your fingers tighten in his hair, your breath catching sharp in your throat. You pull back for a second before lowering your mouth to his neck, right where the collar of his hoodie dips. He lets out a small sound, hands flexing on your waist, when your lips press there.
You start slow. You can feel his pulse under your tongue, the way his chest rises against yours, unsteady and warm. Then you part your lips and suck gently at the spot just below his jaw. His whole body stutters, hips jerking against yours before he can stop it.
Your fingers trail down his chest, tugging his hoodie collar aside for better access. His head tips back, eyes squeezed shut, lips parted.
You do it again, this time with enough pressure to leave a mark, and the sound of your mouth working against his skin is lewd.
He groans. It’s low and rough and barely held back, and the sound shoots straight between your legs. You feel him hardening now, undeniable through the fabric where he’s pressed against you.
“All mine?” you whisper, your lips brushing over the new mark you’ve left.
He doesn’t even hesitate. “All yours.”
His voice is breathless. Wrecked. And so damn certain it knocks something loose in your chest.
You pull back just enough to look at him — really look. His pupils are blown, his lips swollen, a flush climbing high on his cheeks. He looks at you like he wants to devour you. Like he would if you let him.
“I missed that mouth,” he mutters, hands gliding under your shirt again, palms broad and warm. “Missed everything.”
You kiss his throat in reply and drag your teeth across it until he swears under his breath.
His hips grind against you again, harder this time. You both feel it — the friction, the heat building between your bodies.
His arms shift beneath you and he lifts you clean off the ground in one smooth motion, hands strong under your thighs. A startled sound escapes your throat as your legs wrap around his waist on instinct, gripping him tight.
“Fuck,” he mutters again, forehead dropping to your shoulder. “I want you so bad it’s actually stupid.”
You smile, drunk on the feel of him.
“Bedroom?” you murmur, tracing your lips over the new mark blooming against his skin.
He hums lowly, and shifts his grip on your thighs.
He carries you through the hallway and your lips never leave his skin for more than a second.
When he reaches your bedroom, he doesn’t hesitate. He steps inside and drops you onto the mattress in one fluid movement.
You barely get your bearings before he’s crawling over you, slotting his body between your legs, His mouth finds yours again, and you moan into it before you can stop yourself when his knee presses between your legs.
Your hips twitch, grinding down against the pressure, and he groans in response, the sound vibrating through your chest as his mouth moves with yours. His hand slips under your shirt again, this time bolder, fingers spanning across your ribs and inching higher until his knuckles brush the curve of your breast.
You gasp softly, and he pulls back just enough to murmur, “Off.”
You sit up just enough to grab the hem of your shirt, tugging it over your head in one smooth pull, your hair mussed from the friction. He watches the fabric fall to the floor, then looks at you.
“You’re so fucking pretty," he breathes.
You roll your eyes automatically, even though your face is already burning. “Shut up.”
“I’m serious,” he says, and his voice drops low. “You have no idea what you do to me.”
His lips part and he kisses along your sternum — slow, wet presses of his mouth that trail up and then out, over the swell of one breast, then the other.
You inhale sharply when his mouth grazes the sensitive skin beside your nipple, and his eyes flick up at the sound, pupils blown. He kisses lower, then higher again, murmuring against your skin, “Can’t believe I went a week without this.”
The vibration of his voice right against your skin makes you arch, and he meets you halfway, grinding down slow and deliberate, like he knows exactly what you’re chasing and wants to stretch it out just to watch you squirm.
Your hands curl into his shoulders, nails biting down just enough to make him grunt softly into your skin. He rolls his hips again, slow and heavy, and the pressure against your core has your breath catching in your throat.
“Koo,” you whine out.
He pulls back just enough to look at you, lips pink and wet, hair falling into his eyes. He grins, crooked and hot and deeply pleased with himself.
“Yeah, baby?” he asks, and his voice is pure sin.
You glare, but your thighs shift open under him anyway.
“Please.”
He hums, satisfied, and starts working his way lower. Every kiss is wet and unhurried. Down your chest, across your stomach. His hands follow, smoothing over your ribs, down to your hips, dragging the waistband of your pants just slightly with them. His thumbs hook in the fabric, pausing right above your pelvis.
He looks up at you, smug and dark-eyed.
“Gonna let me take these off?”
He's so annoying you're gonna kill him. “Do I look like I’m stopping you?”
“No,” he murmurs, pressing a kiss just below your navel, “but I like hearing you say it.”
You huff, fingers threading into his hair again. “Take them off, Kook.”
He eases them down slowly — too slowly — dragging the fabric down your legs while his mouth follows in a path of heat and pressure. He kisses your hipbone, your inner thigh, every patch of skin he uncovers like it’s something sacred. When your panties go next, he makes a quiet sound in the back of his throat — more reverent than smug this time.
You’re already wet, already aching, and from the way his eyes flicker as he takes you in, he fucking knows it.
“Fuck,” he mutters. “You’re soaked. You missed me that much?”
You exhale hard, cheeks hot. “Shut up and do something about it.”
He grins again, slower this time. “Anything you want.”
His hands grip your thighs and spread them further apart, and before you can say another word, his mouth is on you.
The first swipe of his tongue is long, and delibirate. You jerk at the contact, a broken sound slipping from your lips, and he groans like he’s the one falling apart. His hands tighten on your hips, holding you in place, and does it again.
Every movement of his tongue is practiced and precise. He starts slow, almost gentle, licking through your folds with a kind of focus that makes your head spin. Your thighs threaten to close around his head, but he pushes them apart with ease, never breaking rhythm.
Your hands move to the back of his head, gripping tight. His tongue circles your clit once, then again, and the third time he sucks it between his lips. You try to stifle a moan, but it slips from your lips anyway.
He pulls back just enough to speak, breath hot on your skin.
“Keep making those sounds, baby,” he murmurs, voice wrecked. “Wanna hear every fucking thing I do to you.”
He movements turn faster, his mouth messy and hot and relentless. You’re already close, the build-up sharp and climbing, and he can feel it. One of his hands slips lower, spreading you open further with his thumb, and his tongue drags in tighter circles.
You’re writhing, panting, toes curling into the sheets. Your fingers tug at his hair, your spine arching off the bed.
“Fuck— Kook—” you gasp, head thrown back.
He groans again, the sound vibrating straight through your pussy. He doubles down, mouth moving faster, and when your hips start to stutter, erratic and desperate, he presses his hand over your stomach, grounding you.
“You’re gonna come for me?” he murmurs against you, mouth slick with you. “Gonna let me taste it?”
You nod frantically, unable to speak, your whole body wound tight and ready to snap.
He presses his mouth against you again, lips sucking against your clit, and the feeling has you squirming with pleasure.
“Kook—” your voice breaks open as you come hard against his mouth.
He moans, but his movements don't stop.
Your body arches helplessly, heels digging into the bed, one hand fisted in the sheets, the other still tangled in his hair as you ride out the wave. You’re gasping, blinking hard, your heart trying to punch through your ribs.
Only when your legs start to tremble uncontrollably does he finally pull back.
His lips are slick and swollen, jaw damp, hair messy from where you’ve been gripping it. And he looks wrecked — eyes heavy-lidded, pupils blown wide, like just being between your thighs has undone something in him.
He wipes his mouth with the back of his hand, then drags his lips slowly up your inner thigh, leaving lazy kisses in his wake.
You’re still catching your breath, staring at the ceiling like your soul just left your body, when he plants a final kiss on the inside of your knee and murmurs, “Yeah. I’m never ghosting you again.”
You let out a breathless laugh, too blissed out to be mad. “You better not.”
“After that?” he says, crawling back up your body, slow and unhurried. “I’d be clinically insane.”
He settles over you again, pressing a warm, open-mouthed kiss to your stomach, then another between your breasts, then finally your mouth. You taste yourself on his tongue, and when he groans against your lips, it sends a fresh jolt of heat straight through you.
His body is flush against yours, his clothed cock thick and heavy where it presses against your thigh. You let your hands trail down his chest slowly to tug at the denim loops of his jeans.
"Want these off," you mumble against his lips.
He smiles and presses one last kiss to your mouth before he leans back onto his knees. His hands go to his belt, and you watch the way his fingers fumble for just a second.
He gets the buckle undone, then the zipper, the sound louder than it should be in your quiet bedroom. You watch as he shucks them down, boxers and all, and your breath catches slightly at the sight of him — flushed and hard and achingly ready.
“Better?” he asks, voice low.
You nod, breath shallow, and he’s already crawling back over you. The heat of him sinks into your skin as his body settles between your thighs, bare now.
Your legs part without hesitation.
His weight, the press of his chest to yours, the familiar scent of him wrapped in something raw and new — it all hits at once, and your whole body shivers.
He’s warm everywhere. The kind of warmth that soaks into your bones and makes you ache for more.
His hands slide along your arms until they find yours where they’re resting above your head. He threads his fingers through yours and presses them gently into the pillow, pinning you there. His eyes search yours, and you feel the first brush of him between your legs, just the tip, teasing the edge of you.
He doesn’t move yet. Just rests there, eyes locked on yours.
“You okay?” he murmurs, voice low and thick, like he’s hanging on by a thread.
You don’t answer — not with words. You just tilt your hips up, welcoming him in with nothing but a look.
He pushes in slow — painfully slow — each inch dragging fire across your nerves as your body stretches to take him. Your mouth falls open in a silent gasp, your fingers clenching around his. When he’s fully buried inside you, he stills completely.
“Fuck,” he breathes, forehead dropping to yours. “You feel… unreal.”
You can’t speak — your body’s too full, too wrecked already — so you kiss him instead. Slow and sweet and a little desperate. Your hips rock up, seeking more.
He groans into your mouth, finally starting to move, and every thrust is so fucking deep. It’s not rushed or frantic. It’s him savouring you, like he wants to remember how this feels with every part of himself.
His hands stay tight around yours, anchoring you both to the bed, to each other.
The rhythm builds, a slow burn that spreads everywhere, and between kisses you catch the way he looks at you — like he’s seeing something he’s afraid to lose. Like there’s something he wants to say but can’t yet.
“You were supposed to beg,” you manage to murmur against his mouth, breathless. “Grovel a little.”
That crooked smile curls against your lips. “My bad, baby,” he murmurs. “You can make me beg next time.”
You raise an eyebrow. “You’re gonna regret that.”
He shifts his hips, thrusting deeper, and your breath leaves you in a ragged gasp.
“You promise?”
The challenge in his voice is smug, but his eyes are dark and glassy, his control hanging by a thread. You whimper in response, thighs tightening around his waist, and he dips his head to your throat, dragging his lips along your pulse like it’s the only thing tethering him to earth.
He starts to move with more purpose now, making you feel every second of it. His cock grinds into that spot that makes your vision blur, and your whole body tenses, fingers squeezing his like a lifeline.
The moan you let out is shameless, high and wrecked, when he tilts his hips just right — again and again, like he’s carving his name into your body from the inside.
“Right there?” he murmurs, already knowing. His hand slips between your bodies, thumb finding your clit with the kind of confidence that only comes from knowing you — every reaction, every sound. “God, you’re so fucking wet. You always get like this for me?”
“Koo—” His name slips out broken, a warning and a plea wrapped in one.
“I’ve got you,” he whispers, voice ragged, forehead pressed to yours. His thrusts get rougher now, faster, the rhythm losing polish but gaining intensity. “Let me have you, baby. Come again for me.”
The words send a bolt of heat straight to your core, your whole body winding tight. His mouth crashes against yours before you can respond, tongue tangling with yours, greedy and open and honest in all the ways his words still aren’t.
When he pulls back, he’s panting, “You feel like heaven, fuck.”
You can’t even process it — not now, not when his rhythm stutters and his hips slam harder, each thrust jolting a cry from your throat. Your legs are trembling, your grip bruising where it clings to him, and you can feel the knot in your stomach tighening.
“That’s it,” he groans, watching your face like it’s the only thing that matters. “Let go for me. Let me feel you.”
You bury your face in his shoulder, teeth catching on his skin as your orgasm crashes over you. Your body locks up, thighs clenching, and you cry out his name. His hand squeezes yours back, holding you through it.
Your walls grip him tight, and he groans loud against your skin, hips faltering. “Fuck— shit—”
He thrusts once more before spilling into you with a broken sound, voice rasping your name like a prayer.
His whole body shudders as he comes, arms locked tight around you like he needs you to stay exactly where you are — here, under him, around him, real. His forehead drops to your shoulder, damp curls brushing your skin as he exhales, long and shaky.
Neither of you move right away. The air between you is thick with heat and breath and a comforting silence.
Eventually though, he shifts just enough to press a kiss to your collarbone. Then another, softer.
His hand slides along your waist, fingertips brushing lazy patterns into your skin. You hum under your breath — not a word, just a sound — and he responds by kissing your shoulder again.
Your legs are still tangled together. His body still half-draped over yours. There’s a mess between your thighs and sweat clinging to your skin, and you should probably say something, anything — but there’s something sweet about the silence now. It’s soft. Unspoken. Peaceful, in a weirdly intimate way.
He shifts again, easing out of you with a quiet groan, and you wince a little at the loss.
“Sorry,” he murmurs, running a hand gently over your thigh like an apology.
“It’s fine,” you breathe, eyes closed, chest still rising and falling too fast.
He doesn’t go far. Just rolls to the side, still close enough that his leg stays pressed against yours, and reaches for the blanket to pull it up over you both. He tugs you into his chest like second nature, burying his nose in your hair, his hand stroking absently up and down your arm.
“You good?” he asks softly, lips brushing your temple.
“Yeah,” you say, quieter now. “You?”
He pauses. Then he nods against your skin. “Yeah. More than.”
You lay there like that for a while, heartbeats evening out. He’s still drawing shapes on your skin — fingertips slow, mindless — and you smile to yourself, warmth blooming low in your stomach.
“So,” you murmur eventually, voice still hoarse. “What now? We high-five and call it a night?”
He huffs a laugh into your hair. “I mean, I wouldn’t say no to a high-five.”
You laugh, nudging him with your shoulder. “Cocky.”
“Confident,” he corrects, grinning. “But really—” He shifts a little so he can see your face, one hand reaching up to tuck a stray strand of hair behind your ear. “If we’re doing this, I wanna do it right.”
You blink, caught off-guard by the sudden sincerity in his voice. “Do what right?”
He raises an eyebrow, like it should be obvious. “Us.”
There’s a pause. You look at him, and he looks at you, and it’s terrifying and sweet all at once.
“I really like you,” he says, quieter this time. “And I’m not just saying that because I just got laid.” He cracks a small smile. “Though, to be fair, that was mind-blowing.”
You snort. “So humble.”
“I’m serious,” he says, nudging your nose with his. “I’ll take you out. I’ll plan dumb dates. I’ll be obnoxiously charming and show up with flowers. I’ll be— like— a gentleman, or whatever.”
You give him a look. “You should’ve done all that before you fucked me.”
His grin spreads. “Yeah, well. Guess I got the order wrong. You gonna hold that against me?”
“Maybe,” you say, lips twitching.
“I’ll make it up to you,” he says, fingers brushing your cheek. “You’ll see. I’ll be so romantic it’ll make you want to punch me.”
“I already want to punch you.”
“And yet,” he says smugly, pulling you closer, “you’re still in my bed.”
“This is my bed, dumbass.”
He pauses. “Okay, fair. But I am naked in it. With you.”
You roll your eyes, but the smile on your face won’t go away. His arm tightens around your waist, and you let yourself relax into it — into him. For once, it doesn’t feel like something to second-guess.
He kisses your forehead, then your cheek, then the corner of your mouth.
You tuck your face into his neck and sigh. “You better bring the good flowers. Like the ones that don’t die in two days.”
“Oh, so now you’re picky?”
“You said dates and flowers. I’m holding you to it.”
“Noted,” he says, fingers threading into your hair. “I’m gonna be so disgustingly good to you.”
You laugh softly into his skin.
And he just holds you tighter.

You didn't even want to come here today.
Lotte World was supposed to be fun—cotton candy, carousel selfies, maybe something gentle like bumper cars. But with Yujin and Hana, it was never about fun. It was about appearances. About pushing you into situations just to get a reaction, to laugh behind their hands at how you squirmed.
"Ugh, you're seriously scared of this?" Yujin groan, snapping a photo of the massive Atlantis roller coaster ahead, the steel tracks twisting like some cruel maze in the sky. "It's not even the scariest ride here."
"Right?" Hana chimes in. "God, you're so boring sometimes, Y/N. No wonder no guy ever looks at you."
You laugh. It's hollow.
It doesn't stop the sting.
The queue is already packed when they drag you towards the entrance. You hesitate, but Yujin latches onto your wrist like you're a toddler about to run into traffic.
"Don't be a baby. It's just a ride."
"But I really don't—"
"Do not make a scene," she hisses, smiling too widely as a group of boys glance over. "You're already embarrassing enough. Come on."
The line inches forward. Every step closer makes your chest tighter, like the straps of an invisible harness locking you in. Your stomach churns, hands tremble. But you don't say a word.
Yujin and Hana are too busy taking selfies to notice. Or care.
You stand behind them, quiet, small, barely existing.
"Swear to god," Yujin mutters at one point, "you're going to die single if you keep acting like this. You gotta be brave. Guys hate weak girls."
Hana laughs way too loud. "She needs a guy to knock some sense into her. Or just knock her up. Either one might fix it."
Your ears burn.
You try to laugh again, just to keep up the illusion. It sounds like you're choking.
And still, the line moves.
You're maybe five people from the platform when the operator suddenly shouts, "Two seat available now! Anyone here riding as a pair?"
Yujin doesn't even ask. Doesn't even glance back.
She and Hana leap forward.
"We're two!"
They disappear up the stairs in a blink. The group in front of you steps forward. And just like that, you're alone.
You don't cry, not yet.
But your body's reacting—shaking hands, clenched jaw, vision blurring at the edges. You're aware that walking backward through the crowded line would be more embarrassing than just riding the damn thing. At least, that's what your brain tells you.
The panic bubbles anyway.
You suck in a sharp breath, eyes glued to the track. It creaks and rumbles as the next cart wooshes by in a blur. Someone screams in delight. You're going to throw up. Right here, in front of everyone.
And then—
"Hey."
You jump.
The voice is gentle, low, curious. You turn around.
Three boys stand behind you, next in line. The tallest one—broad shoulders, brown hair—tilts his head at you.
You blink. "...huh?"
He offers a small smile. "You look like you're about to faint."
You open your mouth, then shut it.
The second boy, shorter but muscular with sharp features and a piercing stare, cuts in. "She was with those girls, right? They just ditched her."
The third guy, softer looking with black hair and pretty eyes, nods. "That's messed up."
You look between them, startled that they even noticed.
"I'm—fine," you lie. "I'll just... I was gonna leave."
"Back through that crowd?" The tall one says, gesturing behind.
"...yeah."
He glances at the operator, then back at you. "Well, you don't have to ride alone. I'll go with you."
You blink. "What?"
He smiles again, this time more reassuring. "I mean—if you want. We can ride together. No pressure."
"...why?"
He shrugs. "You look like you need a buddy."
The one with the sharp stare grins now. "This guy's Mingi. He's annoyingly a gentleman sometimes."
"I'm Jongho," he adds, giving you a little nod. "And that's Yeosang."
Yeosang gives you a tiny wave.
"Thanks," you mumble, feeling overwhelmed but... oddly warm. "I'm Y/N."
Jongho snorts. "Yeah, we heard your friends being total assholes. Y/N, you seriously deserve better than that."
You swallow. The words hit harder than they should.
Mingi gently touches your elbow. "You okay riding the roller coaster with me?"
You look at him—his soft gaze, his open posture, the zero judgement in his tone. And for once, someone isn't making you feel like a burden.
"...yeah," you breathe. "Okay."
The staff waves you forward.
Mingi lets you take the seat first, then slips in beside you, pulling the safety bar down. He's close—his knee brushes yours, and his scent is something clean and warm, like citrus and sun.
He glances at you.
"You're brave for doing this."
You almost laugh.
The ride jerks forward with a lurch.
Your fingers grip the bar.
Mingi's hand moves, gently resting on top of yours.
It's warm. Your fingers twitch beneath his at first, unsure, but then the roller coaster jolts forward with a hiss of steam, and you instinctively grip him back like your life depends on it.
He chuckles low under his breath. "That tight already? We haven't gone up yet."
You shoot him a panicked glance, knuckles going pale. "I'm not gonna survive this."
"You will," he says, voice soft. "You've got me now."
The ride starts its slow, agonising climb. Your heart funds like it's trying to launch itself out of your chest.
Mingi doesn't let go. Not even once. His thumb strokes over your knuckles in lazy circles, like he's trying to distract you from the threatening death drop ahead.
"Deep breath," he murmurs. "You've got this, Y/N."
The cart tips.
You scream.
It's not even cute. It's pure terror.
And Mingi just laughs—not at you though, but in joy, throwing his hands up as you fly down the track, wind whipping through your hair, your body tossed left and right.
You never let go of his hand.
By the time it slows and returns to the platform, your voice is gone, and your legs feel like jelly. You stumble forward a little when the bar lifts, but Mingi's hand on your back steadies you.
"You alright?" he asks, eyes scanning your face.
You nod, breathless, dazed.
He smiles, wide and proud. "You did amazing. Seriously! That was brave as hell."
You want to say thank you, but you're still processing the fact that your heart is beating and your limbs are still attached. You let out a small laugh instead, cheeks flushed, the adrenaline not quite fading yet.
Then you hear it.
"Wait, where's Y/N?"
Your stomach sinks.
You turn your head toward the exit ramp and spot them—Yujin and Hana—posing near a churro cart, phone angled high, lips puckered in matching fake smiles.
The voice is unmistakable.
"Probably chickened out and left the roller coaster," Yujin mutters, loud enough that you catch every word.
Hana scoffs, adjusting her hair. "We should find her, I guess. We did come with her car, after all."
"Ugh," Yujin groans. "So annoying. I hate her sometimes."
Hana snorts. "Sometimes?"
They both burst into laughter.
It hits you harder than the drop on the coaster.
You freeze. The sting behind your eyes burns hot, and you blink rapidly, refusing to let the tears win. Not here. Not in front of Mingi, Yeosang and Jongho.
But Mingi heard it too.
You feel the shift in his posture beside you, the way his jaw clenches just slightly. He glances back at Jongho and Yeosang, who both clearly clock the situation. A silent nod happens between them.
Then, without warning, Mingi gently grabs your wrist.
"Come on."
You look up, startled. "Wait—what? Where are we going?"
He's already walking you in the opposite direction.
"I—I need to go to them," you say, stumbling to keep with his pace. "I need to send them home—"
"Are they your close friends?" he asks, cutting you off calmly.
You stop walking. "Huh?"
"Do you hang out with them a lot?"
"…No. We used to be close in high school. But now… not really. We're all in different universities and barely meet up anymore."
Mingi hums like that’s exactly the answer he expected. "Good. So you can cut them off."
You blink. "What?"
He turns to face you properly, his expression serious but not harsh. "Why spend the rest of your day with people who treat you like that? Just hang out with us."
You open your mouth to argue, but then Jongho jogs up beside you, slinging an arm over your shoulder like you've been besties for years.
"You didn't hear what they said? They're literally using you for your car and shitting on you behind your back."
"Yeah," Yeosang says, catching up, a rare frown on his usually passive face. “That's not what friends do. That's just… sad."
"I don't wanna ruin your guys' day though," you say quietly, unsure.
Mingi shakes his head. "You're not. I asked you to stay. You're not an obligation. You're a choice."
That line makes your heart skip.
Jongho smirks. "Besides, Mingi's in his hero mode now. You're stuck with us."
Yeosang chuckles. "He only gets like this when something really pisses him off."
You glance at Mingi, who's pretending not to listen, but the way he nudges your arm with his elbow says otherwise.
And for once… it feels okay to be pulled in a different direction.

You're still holding your tray with half-finished tteokbokki when Mingi takes a seat beside you at the picnic table. Jongho and Yeosang are opposite, poking fun at each other while stealing bits from the fishcake skewer pile.
"You okay?" Mingi asks quietly, sipping from his soda.
You nod. "Actually… yeah. Thanks to you guys."
He hums. "Good."
It feels so normal, sitting here with them. You were smiling. Genuinely smiling. For the first time in weeks, maybe.
The stand nearby is selling fresh corndogs and hotteok. You notice Jongho eyeing them, and your stomach grumbles too.
"I'll grab some more snacks," you say, standing. "My treat."
"Are you sure?" Yeosang asks.
"Yeah," you smile. "You guys saved me today. Least I can do."
You approach the snack cart, debating how many corndogs to grab when—
Shove.
It's not hard enough to knock you down, but enough to make you stumble forward a step. You turn, startled.
"Oh my god, we knew we saw your big back over here," Yujin says with a laugh, like it's the funniest thing in the world.
Hana smirks, standing beside her, arms crossed.
You step back, lips parting. "You guys left me."
Yujin rolls her eyes. "No we didn't? We were waiting for you by the churros stand."
"I was standing alone in line," you reply, your voice still soft, careful not to escalate anything. "You jumped ahead without even checking on me."
"Please," Hana mutters. "You probably didn't see us because you were too much of a pussy to ride."
They both burst into laughter.
You feel it again—that familiar sting in your chest. But this time, before you can say anything, another voice cuts through the air.
"Hey, Y/N. Is there a problem here?"
You look to your side.
Mingi's there, standing tall, eyes dark, jaw clenched. And when he looks at Yujin and Hana, the playful energy around them dies instantly.
Yujin straightens up, adjusting her top. "Oh heyyyy~" she says, her tone suddenly flirty. "And who might you be?"
"Do you know him?" Hana adds, nudging you.
"Yes," you reply clearly. "He offered to ride the roller coaster with me."
Yujin raises an eyebrow. "Really now…"
Then Mingi steps closer, resting a firm hand around your wrist—not hard, just protective.
"If you don’t have anything decent to say to Y/N," he says, voice sharp like a knife, "you can leave. She's hanging out with me and my friends now."
He doesn't wait for them to respond. He gently pulls you away, guiding you back toward the table where Jongho and Yeosang are already watching with narrowed eyes.
You think it's over—until Yujin and Hana follow you.
"Oh my god, Y/N," Yujin says loudly. "Don’t be such a whore and take three guys at once~ At least leave one for us."
You freeze mid-step.
"…Excuse me?" you blink slowly, not even sure you heard her right.
Yujin grins, proud. "Sharing is caring, babe."
You glance at Hana, who won’t meet your eyes.
"…Yujin," you say softly. "You have a boyfriend."
"So?" she scoffs. "You're being a greedy whore with three guys up your ass. You're no better than me."
Your breath catches. You stare at her, shocked. Embarrassed. Ashamed, even though you've done nothing wrong.
Hana still won't look at you.
And that's when Mingi steps forward.
"You know what's actually disgusting?" Mingi says, his voice suddenly cold. "That you think humiliating someone publicly makes you funny. That mocking someone you call a friend is just a joke. That dragging her down is the only way you feel better about yourself."
Yujin's face stiffens.
"And calling her a whore?" Mingi scoffs. "Girl, she's more decent than either of you. If having three people care about her makes her a whore, then maybe you should ask yourself why no one treats you that way."
Hana lets out a tiny breath like she's been slapped.
Mingi turns to them fully now, shielding you with his body.
"Don't talk to her again," he says firmly. "Don't call her. Don't look at her. Don't even think about her. Got it?"
Yujin crosses her arms. "Oh really? But she's our ride. She drove us here."
Jongho suddenly stands from the table. "Then go ask your boyfriend to pick you up."
The silence is loud.
Yujin's mouth opens, but nothing comes out. Hana still won't look at you.
You don't say a word. You just follow the boys as they walk away, head high, shoulders squared. Mingi's hand brushes yours. You don't pull away.
Behind you, you hear Yujin groan like a spoiled brat not getting what she wants.
And you don't look back.
You're quiet as you sit back at the table. You feel small again—not because of what they said, but because of how much it still hurts.
Jongho passes you a drink without a word. Yeosang silently offers you the hotteok you didn't get to buy.
Mingi sits beside you again, elbows on the table, glancing sideways at your face.
"You okay?" he asks for the second time today.
You nod, eyes glassy.
"You don't have to be," he adds softly.
"…I don't get it," you murmur. "I never did anything to them. I was always… trying to be nice."
"You were too nice," Yeosang says, voice calm. "Some people take kindness as weakness. That's not on you."
"She was jealous of you," Jongho adds bluntly. "Both of them were. You're quiet and kind and people like you without having to perform for it. That's threatening for girls like them."
You stare at your lap. "…I just hate that it got so ugly in front of everyone."
Mingi leans in closer, dropping his voice low. "If anything, you should be proud of yourself. You stood your ground. And you have three guys now who will never let anyone talk to you like that again."
You look up, eyes wide, lips parting.
Yeosang raises his soda. "To cutting off shitty people."
You laugh, finally.
And Mingi… he just watches you.
Like he's proud.
Like he’s already planning to keep you close all day.

The sun had dipped low by the time you all wandered back to your car, arms full of leftover snacks, plastic bags rustling with street game prizes and bottled drinks. The entire afternoon had gone by in a blur. One that smelled like honey butter corndogs and felt like safe hands holding you up.
"This your car?" Jongho asks, tapping the roof lightly.
You nod, unlocking it. "Yeah. It’s not fancy, but she gets me from A to B."
"It's cute," Yeosang says, popping a piece of candy into his mouth. "Matches you."
You glance at him, surprised. "Matches… me?"
"Yeah." He shrugs, smiling. "Kind of cozy. And a little beat up, but still standing."
You laugh. "Are you calling me emotionally damaged?"
"Absolutely," he says without blinking.
Mingi chuckles, watching you giggle as you swing the backdoor open to stash the snacks.
Jongho leans against the trunk, stretching. "We should hang out again sometime."
"Seconded," Yeosang says.
You smile. "I'd like that."
Mingi steps beside you and pulls out his phone. "Give me your number."
You blink. "Just like that?"
"Yeah," he grins. "No games. Just want to be able to text you."
Your heart skips.
You rattle off your number, and he saves it under Y/N 🎢, making you groan and hit his arm.
"What? You survived that roller coaster like a champ."
"I screamed."
"And held my hand the whole time," he says, low and teasing.
You turn away before your face gives too much away.
They all pile into their own car a few minutes later—Yeosang at the wheel, Jongho arguing over aux cord rights. Mingi rolls his window down just before they drive off.
"Hey, text me when you get home."
You glance up. "You too."
He smiles. "I will."

One week later.
You're sitting under a shady tree, picking at your sandwich while scrolling on your phone. Midterms are creeping up and your brain is half-fried. You barely notice the tall figure walking toward your bench until a shadow falls across your lap.
"Hey."
You look up—and blink.
"…Mingi?"
He grins, hands in the pockets of his bomber jacket. "Surprised?"
"Uh—yeah?? What are you doing here?"
"Your university's not that far from my dorm. I was in the area… and I was hungry."
You raise a brow. "So you decided to find me?"
"Obviously," he shrugs, plopping down beside you like this is the most normal thing ever.
Your heart does a backflip. "You're really bold, huh?"
He leans back on his palms, tilting his head toward you. "I just wanted to see how you were doing. After all… I haven't heard much from someone."
You flush. "I—I've been busy…"
"I know. I'm just teasing."
There's a pause.
The breeze rustles the leaves above. He's looking at you again, but this time with something softer in his expression.
"You seemed kinda quiet that day when we left," he says. "Was worried."
You glance down at your hands. "I was just… processing everything. It felt weird cutting someone off like that."
"They deserved it," Mingi says, voice firm. "You don't need people who treat you like garbage just because they've known you for a long time."
"…I know," you admit. "It just takes time to process all that."
He nods slowly. "Makes sense. Still. You're stronger than you think."
You smile, small. "You really don't have to keep being this nice to me, you know."
"But I want to."
That makes your breath catch.
He sits up straighter, taking a bite of the snack he brought—some triangle kimbap from the uni convenience store.
"Anyway, what's your major again?" he asks, chewing.
"Communications," you say. "Why?"
"Just wondering what kind of power you'll have in the future. I gotta make sure I stay on your good side now."
You laugh. "What about you?"
"Dance," he says proudly. "But I'm also thinking of minoring in theatre. I like performing."
"That… makes sense. You're kind of a natural."
"At performing?"
"At… pulling attention," you admit, looking away. "You make people feel comfortable."
He hums. "Not everyone. But I guess I try."
There's a comfortable silence again.
Then Mingi glances at your phone screen, noticing the time.
"You have class soon?"
"Yeah. In twenty minutes."
"Damn," he says, standing slowly and stretching his long arms. "Time flew."
"It did," you say. "I didn’t think I'd talk to anyone this long today."
"Lucky you. I'm charming."
You roll your eyes.
He steps a little closer now, towering over you just slightly—but he's not intimidating. He's playful. Easy. Gentle.
"Hey," he says, voice low.
You look up. "Yeah?"
"Do you wanna go out Friday night?"
Your heart skips a beat.
"Like… just us?"
He smiles. "Yeah. Just us."
You swallow, trying not to look too flustered. "Sure. That sounds nice."
He winks. "It's a date then."
And with that, he turns and walks off toward the exit gates, hands still shoved in his pockets like nothing happened.
You just sit there, dumbfounded, heat crawling up your face.
You're pretty sure you don't taste your sandwich after that.

Friday.
When you open the door, the last thing you expect to see is Mingi in all black—loose button-up tucked into slacks, gold necklace glinting faintly under the porch light—and a massive bouquet of pastel flowers in hand.
Your mouth opens. But nothing comes out.
He smiles. "Too much?"
"I—no, no," you sputter, staring at the bouquet. "These are gorgeous. Are those peonies? Wait… are these imported?"
He glances at them. "I dunno, I just told the florist I wanted something that looked like you."
Your face burns instantly.
"Stop saying stuff like that so casually!"
Mingi laughs, handing you the bouquet as you step aside to let him in briefly. "It's true though. Pretty, soft, and a little expensive-looking."
You glare, trying not to melt.
Once the flowers are safely in a vase, you both head out. He opens the car door for you like a damn drama male lead, and you have to mentally scream at yourself not to act too giddy.
The drive is filled with music, light banter, and the occasional glance that lingers too long at red lights. When he pulls up to a high-rise building with a fancy valet and dim chandelier lighting peeking from the glass walls, you blink twice.
"Wait," you say slowly, reading the restaurant sign. "We're eating here?"
"Yeah," he says, unbuckling his seatbelt casually. "Why?"
"Mingi… this place is expensive. Like, minimum 5-digit bill expensive."
"So?" He laughs, turning to look at you. "It's not every day I take someone out on a date. Plus, I invited you. I can't just take you to the food court."
You stare at him. "You're rich…"
He snorts. "Does that make you look at me differently?"
You shake your head. "Of course not. It's just… I grew up thinking that when people date, it should be fifty-fifty. I feel kinda guilty when someone spends too much on me."
Mingi looks at you for a second, soft but amused. "That's cute."
Your cheeks flush.
He continues, voice warm, "But seriously, Y/N, today's my treat. Maybe in the future you can treat me. But for now… your presence is already more than enough."
You make a face. "You're such a flirt.”
He grins. "You haven't seen the half of it."
Dinner is unreal. Floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the Han River, and your seats are by the glass. The food is plated like art, the conversation flows effortlessly, and the wine Mingi orders (which you swear costs as much as your monthly internet bill) is surprisingly good.
At one point, you both laugh over nothing, and Mingi leans his cheek on his hand.
"You know," he says, "Jongho hasn't shut up about that day."
"Really?"
"Oh yeah. For someone who's a year younger than me, he sure loves teasing me like he's older."
You pause. "Wait—Jongho's younger than you?"
Mingi blinks. "Oh, we didn't clarify that, huh?"
"Oh my god, I thought he was the oldest!"
Mingi bursts out laughing. "You're not the first person to say that! Everyone thinks that! He's just too mature for his face."
"Or," you smirk, "maybe you and Yeosang are just too immature."
He gasps. "Hey! I'm mature!"
"I stalked your tagged photos on Instagram," you say nonchalantly. "Your friends call you a big princess."
He chokes on his drink. "You what?"
You grin. "That's right. I did my research."
Mingi leans in closer, voice suddenly low and playful. "Why were you stalking me, hmm? Miss this princess that much?"
Your heart slams in your chest.
"Mingi, stop it," you say, rolling your eyes to hide your very real flustered state.
He chuckles, pleased. "I love teasing you."
"And you're way too good at it."
He shrugs. "Only with people I like."
That line hits harder than it should.
By the time you finish eating, the staff clears your plates and refills your glasses with water. You sit back, full, sipping slowly.
You glance at him. "So… where are we going next?"
Mingi raises a brow. "Someone's excited."
You smirk. "I mean… I haven't been on a real date in a long time. This already beat my expectations."
He leans forward slightly, tilting his head. "Wanna do something more relaxed? We can go for a walk near the river. There's a quiet park close by with lights and benches."
You nod. "That sounds really nice."
"Cool," he says, standing and reaching for your coat. "Let's go. I've got a playlist ready and everything."
"You have a date playlist?"
"I might have made one last night."
You stare at him.
He shrugs. "What? You make me nervous."

Mingi walks you to your door, still chatting about some guy from his dance class who tried to moonwalk in socks and almost dislocated his knee.
You laugh softly, fingers brushing your keys, reluctant for the night to end.
"Y/N?"
You glance up. "Yeah?"
He leans in quickly, and before you can process it, he presses a soft kiss to your cheek. Warm. Quick. Sincere.
He pulls back, eyes wide, rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry if that was too sudden. You can tell me if you're not okay with it—seriously."
You blink—then laugh, cheeks warm.
"Thanks. I don't mind."
He exhales, a tiny puff of relief, then smiles as he starts walking back toward his car.
"Wait—Mingi!"
He turns around. "Yes?"
You grin, still standing by your door. "Let's go out next week. My treat."
His smile stretches so wide it almost splits his face.
"Okay, princess. See you next week. Update me always, okay?"
He winks, hops into his car, and drives off—while you stand there, clutching your warm cheek and thinking about nothing but him.
A few months later.
You've gone on more dates than you can count now.
Some were cute and simple—arcades, cafés, late-night convenience store runs. Others were more put-together, gallery dates, dance showcases, even grocery shopping for dinner you'd cook together. There's a comfort between you and Mingi now.
Tonight, it's just a Netflix night.
It's Saturday, you're at your place, and Mingi's stretched out on your couch, arm around you while a movie plays. You're curled beside him, blanket over both of your legs, a half-finished bag of popcorn resting on his thigh.
And then—on screen—an erotic scene plays out. Soft moaning, slow kissing, heavy breathing.
Mingi shifts slightly.
"Are you okay watching this?" he asks, voice low, cautious.
You scoff, barely glancing at him. "Uh, yes? I'm not a child, Song Mingi."
He laughs, head tilting. "Well, excuse me. Just making sure."
There's a beat.
Then he glances down at you again. "What are your thoughts on doing this kind of stuff… y’know, as a couple?"
You pause for a second, then answer honestly.
"Um… I don't mind, honestly. Everyone's different, right? But for me—it's about trust. It doesn't matter whether it's before or after marriage. What matters is… being safe, knowing the risks, and being sure you're with someone who respects you."
Mingi nods slowly. "Yeah. I feel the same way."
You turn your head slightly. "Have you done it before?"
That question slips out faster than you meant.
Mingi blinks.
Your eyes go wide. "Oh my god—I'm sorry. I didn't mean to make that weird. You don't have to answer—"
"No, no!" he says quickly. "It's just surprising coming from you. But nah—I haven't. I'm a virgin. And I'm not embarrassed."
You smile. “There's nothing to be ashamed of. Some people just use sex like it's a status thing. Like if you're not doing it, you're behind."
"Exactly!" Mingi grins. "It's such a stupid mindset."
He turns slightly toward you. "What about you?"
"I'm a virgin too," you admit. "But I've always been curious. Just never wanted to give that part of me to someone random. One-night stands never appealed to me."
Mingi nods, biting the inside of his cheek. "It's so weird that we both feel the same."
You squint. "Are you just saying that to get on my good side? Trying to look all respectful and boyfriend-of-the-year?"
Mingi gasps, dramatically offended. "What?! I would never! I swear I mean it!"
You elbow him lightly, both of you laughing.
Then—
"…Do you want to try it together?"
You freeze. Eyes wide. "Wait. What?"
Mingi blinks hard. "In the future!! I meant—in the future! Not now—God, Song Mingi, you're an idiot—"
You laugh. Full-on giggle that makes your shoulders shake.
Then you lean in, gently place your hand on the back of his neck, and pull him into a kiss.
It's deep. Soft. Lingering.
He stiffens slightly at first, surprised, but then relaxes—his hand finding your cheek as his lips move slowly with yours. His eyes shut. The world fades.
When you pull away, your forehead rests lightly against his.
"I trust you."
His eyes flutter open and you can see the blush rising to his ears.
You also can't help noticing the very obvious bulge forming in his pants.
You smirk.
"Are you hard just from kissing?" you tease gently.
"…Yeah," he admits shyly. "And because I love you so much, that's why."
He kisses you again, deeper this time, one hand stroking up your back, careful and slow like he's memorizing the shape of you.
And your fingers start to tighten around his shirt.

You're kissing him.
You don't remember when the shift happened—from sitting side by side, to lying down with your fingers gripping his shirt, his hand on your waist, mouths moving together slowly. But you don't care. Mingi's lips are hot, breath a little shaky, body pressing against yours like he wants to crawl inside your skin.
You moan softly when he licks into your mouth—hesitantly at first, then with more confidence as you whimper and tug at his hair. His hand slides under the back of your shirt, fingers brushing up your spine. It's slow. Careful. Nervous.
He pulls back, panting slightly. "Is… this okay?"
You nod, cheeks flushed. "Yes."
"I mean, we can stop anytime."
"I know."
He hesitates, and you see it in his eyes—nervousness, excitement, a little disbelief. You lean forward, kissing his jaw, then whisper in his ear,
"Let’s keep going."
That makes him groan.
Mingi's hands start to explore more freely—stroking your thighs, up your shirt to caress your sides, then cup your breasts over your bra. He's still tentative, like he's worried he's doing it wrong.
"Touch me," you whisper.
"I am," he says, confused.
"No—touch me for real, Mingi."
You guide his hand under your shirt, placing it over your bare skin. He swallows hard, fingers trembling just a little. When he finally cups your breast fully, brushing your nipple with his thumb over your bra, you arch into his touch with a quiet moan.
He gasps. "Holy shit…"
You laugh breathlessly. "What?"
"You feel… really good."
"You're cute when you're this overwhelmed."
"You're evil," he groans.
You switch positions slightly, tugging your shirt off and tossing it aside. He stares at your chest, clearly enchanted.
"You can touch more, you know," you tease.
"Permission granted?" he raises a brow, smiling.
"Permission granted."
His hands roam—soft kneading, lips kissing between your breasts before he pulls your bra down and takes one nipple into his mouth. You gasp, threading your fingers through his hair, while he moans against your skin.
"You're a quick learner," you mumble, breath hitching.
"Porn and imagination," he replies.
You snort. "Didn't you learn this in school?"
"Yeah," he scoffs. "As if the teacher taught us about sex positions and nipple sucking."
You both burst into laughter—even mid-makeout—and it's oddly comforting how fun this is. Messy, awkward, real.
Your hands slide down his chest, under his shirt, feeling lean muscles flexing under your touch. When you unbutton it, he lets you strip it off—his skin warm, his face flushed, his body trembling just slightly.
You reach between his legs, palm cupping the hard bulge in his pants. He jerks.
"Fuck—Y/N…"
You kiss his throat, voice low. "Wanna keep going?"
He pauses.
Then—his eyes widen. "Shit. I—I don't have a condom."
You blink. "Wait, seriously?"
"I didn't think—fuck—I'll go get one!! There's a 7-Eleven like two streets down—"
"You're gonna run to the convenience store right now??"
He's already scrambling off the couch, grabbing his t-shirt with his chest still bare. "I'll be back in ten minutes! Don't fall asleep!!"
You burst into laughter, watching him panic-shuffle into shoes and sprint out the door like a man on a mission.
12 minutes later.
He returns, slightly out of breath, holding a small plastic bag.
You arch a brow. "How many did you buy?"
"Three boxes."
"…Why?"
"I panicked!"
You're both half-laughing when you strip again, kissing between giggles, settling back into each other's arms. But this time, it's different. Calmer. More focused.
Mingi slowly pulls your shorts down, kissing your thighs, his breath hitching when he sees your panties already damp.
"Y/N…"
"Don’t be shy," you whisper.
He slides them down and tosses them aside. His fingers brush between your legs, and when he finally touches you—fingers stroking through your folds—you whimper and press into his hand.
"You're so wet," he says, awed.
"For you."
He swears softly under his breath.
You moan louder when he finds your clit, gently rubbing, unsure at first—then more confidently as your hips twitch under his touch. You reach down, palm cupping his erection through his boxers.
"You're hard again."
"Yeah. You're kinda ridiculously sexy."
You roll him onto his back and tug his pants off.
And when his boxers come down—you both freeze.
"…Oh," you blink.
"Too big?" he teases nervously.
"Guess we'll find out."
Condom's on.
You lie back, legs spread, heart pounding.
Mingi positions himself between your thighs, hands on either side of your face, eyes locked with yours.
"You sure?" he whispers.
You nod. "I trust you."
He lines himself up and pushes in slowly.
It hurts.
Not unbearable, but a deep stretch, an ache that makes your body tense.
Mingi stops instantly.
"You okay?"
"Yeah. Just go slow."
He pushes in again, carefully, slowly—
And then you both freeze.
"…Is that… blood?" Mingi asks, voice rising slightly.
You look down. Just a bit. But enough.
Mingi freaks. "Oh my god. Are you okay?? Did I hurt you?!"
You put a hand on his cheek, trying not to laugh at his horrified expression. "Mingi—it's normal."
"But—are you sure? Should we stop?"
You smile. "Let’s just take a break. Five minutes. You're overreacting."
"I'm not overreacting! You're bleeding. I've seen horror movies that start like this!"
You burst into laughter, gently shoving his shoulder.
After a short pause (and a lot of overthinking from Mingi), you kiss him again—slow, soft, grounding.
"I still want to keep going," you whisper. "If you're okay."
He nods, exhaling. "Yeah. Just don't die on me."
This time when he slides in—it's easier.
Your body's more relaxed, your hands are tangled in his hair, and Mingi is whispering "so beautiful" and "you feel amazing" into your skin like it's the only language he knows.
The pace is slow, careful. You moan under him, hips rolling together, your bodies finally syncing.
He kisses your neck, your lips, your forehead. You're both sweaty and shaky and a little uncoordinated—but it's perfect.
You're his first. He's yours.
You cling to each other like the world is too small to contain what you're feeling.
And when you come—whimpering his name, shaking underneath him—Mingi follows right after, burying his face in your neck with a moan so sweet it makes your heart throb.
Afterward, you lie tangled on your couch, barely covered by the throw blanket.
Mingi's still red in the face. "I think I panicked like ten times."
You giggle. "It was cute."
"Was it… good?"
You nod, nose brushing his cheek. "It was more than good."
Mingi's breath is still a little shaky as he pulls out of you carefully, rolling the condom off and tying it, tossing it into the little trash bag beside the couch. You hiss faintly at the sudden emptiness and sensitivity.
He notices immediately.
"You okay?"
"Yeah. Just sore. And… wow."
He lets out a soft laugh, brushing your hair out of your face.
"We should clean you up," he murmurs. "Don't want you to get an infection."
You nod, and he helps you sit up slowly. Your thighs are sticky, a little shaky, and you wince slightly as you stand.
"Shit," Mingi mumbles, catching you. "Are you hurting?"
"Not really. Just sore and, you know… my pussy probably looks like a war zone."
Mingi laughs, even as he scoops you up bridal-style without warning.
"MINGI—!"
"We're washing you properly, princess," he says, grinning as he carries you into your bathroom like some romcom idiot boyfriend. "Gotta take care of my girl."
He helps you sit on the toilet, then kneels in front of you, helping you clean. Every touch is gentle now—damp tissue wiping your thighs, warm water trickling slowly, his hands making sure not to rub too hard.
"Sorry if this feels weird," he mumbles.
"It doesn't," you whisper. "I like this."
He smiles at you, so soft, so genuine it makes your chest ache.
Once you're clean and dry, he carries you again—back to your bed this time, gently laying you down before slipping beside you under the blanket.
Your head rests on his bare chest, legs tangled, fingers tracing random patterns on his stomach.
Mingi shifts a little, looking down at you.
"You're so beautiful, Y/N."
You glance up, smirking. "Took you long enough to say that."
"I was busy panicking."
You both laugh.
But then he kisses your forehead.
"I'm serious," he says quietly. "You're so fucking beautiful. Your body… your heart… your whole existence. I've never felt this way before. Not even close."
You blink slowly, heart beating in your throat.
Then he murmurs—
"We're a thing now."
You grin. "We better be a thing. If not, I'll chop your dick off."
Mingi wheezes out a laugh, pulling you into a kiss. "God, I love you."
"Thank you for coming into my life." His arms tighten around you.
"No, you saved me," you say, brushing your nose against his. "Thank you for coming into mine."
You breathe in deeply, warm and full in his arms.
A few minutes later, while cuddling in silence, you shift a little.
"Mingi?"
"Mm?"
You glance up at him, playful sparkle in your eyes.
"…Should I satisfy you more?"
He blinks. "Huh??"
You smirk. "You’re still a little hard. I can feel it against my leg."
He flushes red instantly.

A Double Negative
Snotlout Jorgenson X Reader
Summary- Engaged to Snotlout, you're fed up with his flirting. You decide to get back at him with his own medicine.
Warnings- Sweet ending, axe swinging lol, fluff, minor angst
A/N- Well this is so awkward... I have like zero excuses. I just saw the HTTYD Live action and I knew I had to lock in. I present to ya'll my first fic in like 6 months....... :D
Word Count- 1,777

"I'm going to kill him." You say, roughly yanking an axe off of a nearby stand. If you weren't so angry, it might have made you lose balance by the sheer size. Your inexperience with weapons made you less intimidating, but every man on Berk knew not to mess with an enraged woman.
Adrenaline drove you.
Astrid followed you close, trying to calm you down from your previous conversation.
"I just don't get it, he always says that I am the only one for him. That he loves me. But there he is, running his mouth with some other girl. I don't think he realizes that no other girl would put up with his crap." Just venting to Astrid made your blood boil.
"Have you talked to him about how you feel?" She reasoned, knowing that deep down you did love him, and wanted peace.
"Why should I! Isn't it obvious that you shouldn't flirt with other girls while you're engaged!" You were increasingly frustrated, popping your knuckles to ease some kind of tension.
She sighed and threw herself back onto her bed. Neither of you planned that your sleepover would turn into a therapy sesh. "Men are stupid. We even have to tell them when they are being stupid. That's how stupid they are."
You contemplated her words, "And if Hiccup was flirting with another girl?" You queried.
"I'd gouge his eyes out so he couldn't even look at another." She said, calm as ever. Though, it was true that Hiccup would rather die than make Astrid feel that way.
Defeated, you puffed out a frustrated gust of air. "Maybe I should just talk to him..." Astrid laughed at the contrast. Your emotions ran wild, regretfully doubting him. You beat yourself up on the fact you thought him disloyal.
"I think that's a great idea." She said, getting comfortable in her pillow, hoping the conversation would end. That way the two of you could do something more fun or relaxing.
As much as you wanted to move on, your gaze didn't leave the ground. Astrid shot you an understanding look. "You can go now..." You looked up.
"Astrid we've been planning this night for weeks! I'm not going to leave you over some petty feelings." Astrid would love to argue how your feelings were valid, and not petty. But she was too busy ushering you out the door.
"Look, after- you can come right back over. We will have more fun when your conscience is clean." She desperately wanted this to be over with, for her best friend to be at ease.
You knew she was right. Still, she made her way with you to the mead hall, where most of the men were bound to be eating.
Just as you walked in, you located Snotlout. With a freshly dropped face and cold eyes, you watched him. He was sat next to a girl you'd seen around. She was the complete opposite of you. She was visibly strong, taller than Snotlout, and loud.
He had his head thrown back in laughter, the very laugh you loved to hear. The laugh that was only reserved for you. His real laugh that only came out when talking about your future, dragon riding, or joking about Hiccup's leg.
That laugh was for you. No one else. Definitely not this random girl.
"I'm going to kill him."
The next thing you know, you are running across the hall to him. Axe raised above your head. You weren't aware if you were screaming or not, but the looks people gave you implied you were.
"SNOTLOUT!" The girl quickly jumped out of the way, but Snotlout was caught off guard by your voice.
He let out a yelp, quickly throwing himself to the ground. "ARE YOU CRAZY?" He screams back at you.
"Only because you've made me so!" You swing again, narrowly missing his ear. A shred of his hair was caught in the crossfire.
His voice raised a few octaves at your shrew rage. "What is your problem!" He was too worried about you to care about his voice cracking.
"YOU are my problem!" Onlookers knew better than to interfere with your relationship.
"Woah, woah, what did I do?" He tried to grab the axe from you, but risked losing a finger.
You thought about not responding, but stopped swinging to catch your breath. "What haven't you done? Or better yet, WHO haven't you done?"
His demeanor changed immediately, swiftly wrestling the axe from your grasp. "We need to take this outside."
You glanced back at Astrid, who held an all-too-proud look. She nodded with crossed arms.
"Gladly." He went to put his hand on your back, like he typically would when guiding you somewhere. You stopped him, slapping his hand away before walking ahead of him.
As the two of you briskly walked out, you pulled off your engagement ring. "Does this mean nothing to you?" You whisper-yelled at him, shoving the item you held dear, in his face.
He grabbed onto your hand that held out the ring. “What’s gotten into you! If it meant nothing I wouldn't have given it to you.”
You were no longer concerned with where you were going, focusing on your reasoning. “If you’d prefer to stay ‘available’, then you should call off the wedding. It would save me the heartbreak.”
“You are so dramatic!” He threw his hands up, frustrated. “Its just being nice! They mean nothing to me!”
Stopping in your tracks you slowly turn to look at him. "I see how it is." You fake a smile, an idea striking you. His face grows regretful and disturbed.
"Have a great night Snotlout." You leave him confused and alone in the darkness.
The next morning Snotlout was praying that you would have slept off whatever was making you cranky. He had no idea what he was going to walk into...
He, like every morning, confidently strutted into the mead hall. Though, what stopped him straight in his tracks was you.
Typically, you'd wait for him. Always taking your seat by his side, everyone knew of the engagement. Everyone knew for you acted and proclaimed it out proudly. Though, today was different.
You laughed at someone. No, with someone. Now, that usually wouldn't be a problem. But you weren't just laughing.
You were sat next to some dragon trainee. Snotlout had seen him around the training grounds, he had helped care for the dragons while their riders were gone.
The man played no real physical threat to Snotlout. He knew that, but seeing you gently rest your hand on his shoulder. One hand covering your growing laughter. Leaning over him when reaching for the pitcher of water. It was all too much.
Sure, he was smaller than Snotlout. Weaker. Naive. Inexperienced...... More handsome? Funnier? Smarter?
He stormed over, slamming his fist down onto the table. The small man jumped at the sound, intimidated. But you paid no mind.
"Good morning Snotlout, when did you get here?" You mindlessly fiddled with your engagement ring. His eyes were locked on it.
"Not important. We need to talk." His tone suggested he was not asking.
You smiled at him, "Can you give me a moment, it would be rude to leave my friend so quick." Truthfully, the conversation was dull, he was nothing like your beloved fiancé. You were just desperate to prove your point.
"Now." He said, fist hitting the table once more. The poor dragon aid was paralyzed with fear.
Your head snapped in his direction, eyes piercing. "Excuse me?"
He stared back for a moment, but then backed down with a sigh. "Please?"
You smirked at that. "Of course."
He doesn't try to guide you with his hand this time, it saddened you more then you thought it would.
With a newfound cocky attitude, you ask "So, where are you taking us?"
"Just stop, okay." He halts on the pathway.
"I've no clue what you're talking about." You reply.
He steps forward, gently grabbing your hands in his. He looks you in the eyes, his filled with sorrow. "You've proved your point. You can quit the act, okay?" His tone is pleading.
You nod, his plea touching your heart faster than it should have. "...Can we take a walk to the shore?"
"Anything you want." He was dead serious, he might have given anything up- just to have the normal you.
The walk was silent, shoulders bumping together, fingers brushing. It was nervous, like a first date.
Once you reached the water, you sat down onto the sand. Fidgeting with it at your side. Snotlout joined you.
"It didn't take long..." You started light heartedly.
"Is that how you feel?" His gaze looked out onto the water.
"Hm?"
"When I saw you with him... I mean, I know you'd never betray me like that but I..." He licked his lips. "It feels awful." His face scrunched up, a hand hitting his chest.
You took a deep inhale of courage. "Every time... Every time I see you even look at another woman, my heart jumps. I- Snotlout, I don't think you'd actually... Y'know... but it still hurts." You shifted, turning to look at him.
"I just don't understand, why you would need to flirt. I mean, am I not enough?" You were finally able to breathe out your deepest fear.
Snotlout lowered his head into his hands, disappointed and upset. But not at you, never at you.
"I'm so sorry. This is my fault, I've been so amazingly stupid." You let out a chuckle at his words, remembering what Astrid had said.
"I swear it, I swear I won't even talk to another woman if it's your will." He pulled you closer to him, conveying how serious he was.
"Snotlout-"
"No, please just listen." He lifts up your right hand, pressing your palms together. "I should have never let you feel a shred of doubt for my love. I know I am the last person to deserve you, and if it will truly make you happier- I would break the engagement off. But there is no part of me that doesn't want to marry you, and have you for the rest of my life. Just as you already have me."
"Are you done?" You lightly laughed out. His eyes looked glossy, a slow nod erupting.
You said nothing, just pressing forward to feel his lips on yours. It was a familiar action, but just as intimate as the first time they touched.
"You're so stubborn."
"Says the woman who ran at me with an axe.
"That was well deserved."
"Yeah... it was wasn't it?"

It fuckin' kills me every time I think about it. I don't support Rowling or think of her in my day-to-day outside of being actively reminded of the harm she causes. I too want her to vanish. She was a huge part of my childhood but I grew out of her and called her a hack by the sixth book and basically only hate-read the last because I had to know how it ended. I didn't have the full context or understanding for why what she wrote felt off to me--so by the time her political views became well-known; I felt vindicated in my dislike of her. Throwing her work away and not caring by then was easy. It's only when I think of the active harm that I feel anything about it all.
However learning about Neil Gaiman fucking gutted me. I was so wanting to believe it wasn't true but even then one of my first thoughts was a cold "yeah, that tracks actually" (hell, I literally had a dream practically predicting it) but it still felt more personal a betrayal rather than a broad lingering hate. More...insidious. I stay silent and don't involve myself in the fandom anymore because if I let it...it'd still hurt me...like a raw wound merely ignore. I cried for practically a week straight, in and out of denial and hopeful that it was a misunderstanding, but I was so invested in digging up whatever news I could, and then I had to stop. It was too much. I'd occasionally still recommend his works to people in private but I don't go out of my way to suggest anyone dare pay for it in the slightest anymore. If the topic of favorite authors comes up, I just don't have one anymore. I might offer to give someone a copy I have but I tell them why I'll never read it again myself.
Maybe it's because I went through this before with Rowling in particular but I thought it would be easier to cut Gaiman out. On one hand, sure, it is exceptionally easy to just let myself become distracted with other things, to not think about it or talk about it. On the other...I only stay silent because it still hurts just as much and I just can't unpack it this time. I can't. It's too much. I don't care if that makes me sound stupid or whatever. I'm too disgusted.
Still, I don't think I could say I disowned him, his work, or what he meant to me. The view I had was wrong. I haven't abandoned my love for those stories, I can't forget; that's why for the most part I don't bring it up without context because s long as I am distracted; I'm fine. If I think about it for too long...I feel like I'll fall apart. He is the one who disowned us, betrayed us, and did truly unforgivable things to others whom I choose to believe--and even hell has standards--so he's simply not welcome. That's all.
It's impressive how Neil Gaiman vanished from the internet. Wish Rowling would do the same.

Ok Dick biting Hal as a kid has got to be one of my favorite headcanons of all time. Like atp it IS canon to me. But now I’m imagining Dick biting all the members of the JL at least once because they’ve done something that’s either pissed him off, or pissed Bruce off. Hal is obviously bitten first and everyone thinks he’s exaggerating or being a big baby about how much it hurts. Then Clark gets bitten because Bruce got hurt on a JL mission where Clark was supposed to be watching his back. And to be fair, Dick growled at him before he bit, which was far more warning than Hal had received. When Dick sinks his teeth - some of which are still baby teeth - into Clark’s meaty, Kryptonian arm, it shouldn’t hurt. But somehow Clark is tearing up as he lets out a pained howl. It takes both Aquaman and the Flash to remove Dick. Clark doesn’t use that arm for two days, wincing every time he jostles it. How and why Dick bites the others is up for interpretation. Eventually, once all of them have been bitten, they call a meeting about it. Not to get him to stop or anything, just to figure out why it hurts so fucking much. They’re all throwing out various theories when someone says “No seriously, what hell does that kid put into his bites?” when Dick emerges from the shadows and says, deadpan, “Vengeance.” before cackling evilly and disappearing. They all shudder before deciding to never piss him off or talk about his biting ever again.
Also now I’m kind of imagining Dick and Slade fighting for the first time when Dick is just a little gremlin and Slade is like “pffft as if this fourth grader could beat me” only to panic when said fourth grader sinks his teeth into him so hard that he still has the scar years later.
I'm imagining Bruce seeing how Dick's go-to attack is to bite people, and he immediately makes a specialized mouth guard for him. It perfectly molds to his teeth, but it's extra sharp and leaves a different imprint than Dick's actual bite. Mostly so no one can compare dental records or anything to the scars that Dick will no doubt leave on many, many people. It has to be updated regularly when Dick is still young because of him losing his baby teeth.
The first time Dick bites Superman is because he brought Batman back to the Batcave in terrible shape. They'd been on a mission together, it was supposed to be quick, easy, no big deal. And now Dr. Leslie and Alfred are working on him in the Batcave medbay, and Dick just turns to Superman with tears and rage in his eyes. And he launches himself at him and attacks.
Clark yelps as soon as he realizes ouch, he can feel that! What the hell!
"Dick! Dick, let go!"
"You promised you'd bring him back home safe!" Dick cries, but his words are muffled, his teeth still sinking into Clark's arm. "He got hurt!"
"I know, I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Clark says quickly. "But he's going to be fine, Dickie, it's mostly just a broken arm and a concussion!"
Dick is growling and hanging off Clark's arm, until Alfred comes out and announces that Bruce is ready to for visitors. Dick unlatches quickly, then scampers over to Alfred, still sniffling. As soon as he catches sight of Bruce, he starts whining and crying and cuddles next to him on the bed.
Clark never makes fun of Hal for the ankle guards again. Dick really does have crazy sharp teeth. Clark's arm is bruised for days around the puncture marks, and he's left with a scar on his arm in the shape of Dick's mouth.
A few months later, Dick has started hanging out with Garth a lot. They become pals. Very good friends. Best friends, almost.
And Garth hangs out with him one day and looks so glum and down in the dumps and says how Aquaman was mean to him during training, but it's okay, it was Garth's own fault. That doesn't sit well with Dick. No one makes his friends upset and gets away with it.
The next time Dick accompanies Bruce to the Watchtower, Dick locks in on Aquaman and chomps right on his arm. Like eating a fish stick. Aquaman yelps and tries to pry him off, asking him what happened and what's wrong and why the hell is Robin biting him?
"Don't be mean to my friends!" is all Dick says before he stomps off to go back to Batman's side. Before he reaches Batman fully, he turns and locks eyes with Aquaman, making that creepy I've got my eye on you gesture. It sends a shiver down Aquaman's spine.
He bites pretty much every other JL member for various reasons between the ages of 8-11. When they eventually call a meeting for it, Batman just stares at all of them with an unimpressed look.
"Perhaps you should try not upsetting him," Batman tells them, then turns on his heel and leaves. Dick, who'd been hiding under Batman's cape, grins at all of them and sends a taunting little wave before the cape covers him up again.
Dick first encounters Deathstroke at the ripe age of nine. During said encounter, Dick is terrified. Deathstroke is talking about wanting to make Dick his apprentice, how he's going to steal him from right under the Bat's nose, and Dick panics.
And he resorts to biting the exposed skin he sees when Deathstroke tries to nab him by his cape.
He damn near bites Deathstroke's hand clean off at the wrist. It startles Slade so bad that he shouts, throws Dick off to the side, and is distracted just long enough for Dick to run away and get back to the Batmobile.
Dick is panting and a little freaked out as he relays the story to Bruce from the safety of the Batmobile as Bruce drives them home. Bruce reaches over and pats Dick's head, his own heart beating so hard in his chest.
"Good job, chum," Bruce says softly. "Use every weapon you have. Always."
Dick nods his head, wrapping his cape tight around him.

911 what is your pride (week 4; sex & romance)
@911whatisyourpride thank you for running this project 💖🌈
bucktommy, 1k a short future coda to drag bingo night at shelley's (tumblr) leaning heavy on the romance here! this coda is now on the ao3!
---
It's been two months since Evan invited him out to drag bingo night, and a month since they decided to give their relationship another try. That's why Tommy's parked outside the 133 at 7:45 AM, his truck packed for their first weekend away. Ever.
This time last year they were together and every time they talked about a romantic getaway, they would end up in bed before either of them could suggest a place to go. Just the idea of getting away was a thrill; a year later, they were starting to understand the value of actually getting away.
His watch alarm lets him know it's 7:50 and Evan will be done with his shift any minute. Tommy's losing time and losing his nerve for this—this stupid little—
"You're an idiot," Tommy says to himself as he climbs out of the truck. "You've flown helicopters through combat zones and wildfires and a goddamned hurricane, but picking up your boyfriend from work, somehow that's scarier. Somehow. Somehow."
Yeah, but if you crash and burn in those scenarios, you only die once, his brain helpfully reminds him. Embarrassing yourself in front of your boyfriend and his coworkers—that's forever.
"Forever? If I'm lucky," Tommy mumbles under his breath as he jogs across the street.
The 133's bay doors are open and both the A-shift and B-shift crews are milling around, saying hi and catching up before they go their separate ways. Tommy looks around for familiar faces, but only sees Cristy as she laughs with a couple of people, and Captain Mehta, clapping the B-shift captain on the shoulder as he leaves his office.
And then there's Evan, half-hidden behind one of the engines with a handful of people. Something makes him laugh uproariously, full-body doubled-over laughter that has him wiping his eyes when he straightens up again. That's when he spots Tommy and waves wildly at him from all of 15 feet away.
"Tommy! Oh my god, Tommy." Evan drops his duffel bag unceremoniously and crosses the floor to him. "Hey, can I introduce you?" Evan asks quietly.
"What? Oh. Yeah, yeah of course."
"Okay, great," Evan whispers, pulling him into a giant hug with a kiss on the cheek. Then he turns around and yells, inches from Tommy's ear: "Hey, everyone, this is my boyfriend, Tommy!"
Cristy laughs loudly. "Tommy Kinard from Harbor Station, were you lurking behind that ambulance? Get in here."
He gives her a quick hug and waves at everyone, trying not to feel like a pageant contestant who's been called on stage to perform his special talent. Evan distracts him, though, as he points to something in Tommy's hand. "Tommy, what's that?" Evan asks, his smile lighting him from the inside. "Is that for me?"
And that's when Tommy remembers what had him ready to crumble from embarrassment in the truck, why it took him so long to actually leave the truck and come get Evan. It's the fully bloomed, dark and rich red rose that Tommy had seen growing off a rosebush as he was leaving his own shift at Harbor. It was from a random wild rosebush that didn't belong to anyone, so no one would mind if Tommy took out his pocket knife and cut one to bring to Evan.
"It's for you," Tommy says, holding it out to him. "Sorry, I—I feel really silly coming in here with like—like I'm on The Bachelor or something, or picking you up for prom, but I saw this on my way over and thought—I thought you might like it."
Evan accepts it with a smile. He looks at it and brushes the petals against his fingers before he holds it out to Tommy again. "Touch the petals, they're so soft. I think that's the best part of flowers. My favorite part, anyway." Tommy touches the petals, too, and their eyes meet as their fingers brush together, touching the rose.
"I love it," Evan says, and throws his arms around Tommy's neck, right there in front of the captains and firefighters and paramedics and anyone walking on the sidewalk past the bay doors. Anyone and everyone can see; it feels so good to hold Evan like this in his arms.
"Thank you," Evan says, his voice gentle, almost a whisper.
Tommy almost says, for what, it's just a flower, but he knows them both better than that. He pulls away and brushes a few stray curls from Evan's forehead, then kisses him. It's quick and chaste (only one whooooo from the crew), but Evan looks at him with those dark eyes and the dazed expression he seems to save for him, for Tommy. They could stay in this spot for years if Tommy's watch didn't beep for the top of the hour.
"Shift's over," Tommy says. "Ready for our road trip?"
"Yeah," Evan says, "wait, yeah, just a second." He slings his duffel bag across his chest and then grabs Tommy's hand to lead him out the bay doors. He waves goodbye to everyone and then holds the rose up to Tommy's face. "I think I've got everything. How about you?"
Some past Tommy would howl and kick his ass at what present Tommy's about to say, but that past Tommy didn't have Evan in his life. Past Tommy could stay quiet and learn a thing or two, like how to be happy. It was a skill, a real thing he and Evan were learning to do, and sometimes it meant small gestures that felt like the whole world.
"Well, I've got you," Tommy says. "I think that's all I need."
Evan looks taken aback, then blushes and lightly shoulder checks him. "Yeah, okay," he mumbles, but he can't hide his grin. As they climb in the truck and buckle up, Evan leans over and kisses him again—they can't hide a damn thing.

𝐏𝐀𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆: spencer x reader
𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐘: morgan thinks that spencer has been closing himself off more than usual, so him and garcia come up with a plan to get him to meet someone new.
𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐒 / 𝐓𝐀𝐆𝐒: fluff. first meetings. nerding out over edgar allan poe.
𝐀𝐔𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐑’𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓𝐄: this layout took an embarrassing amount of time but i wanted to try something new 😭
SPENCER MASTERLIST ♥︎ 5K MASTERLIST
everyone at the BAU had noticed the way spencer had been acting. sure, he was never the most social person in the world, someone could tell that with one glance at him. but lately... he was more withdrawn, more distant. when the team tried to coax him to go out with them, spencer simply smiled and told them that he was tired 'but maybe next time'.
"baby, you think reid's been acting more doomy and gloomy lately?" derek asked, cocking his head to the side, his eyes on spencer, the curly-haired man deeply immersed in his paperwork. derek then turned to look at garcia, the woman sitting at the edge of his desk with her unicorn mug in hand, narrowing her eyes, "maybe it's seasonal depression. now that i think about it, i've also been feeling a little low-energy."
"you? low energy?" derek raised his brows in slight amusement before turning to look back at spencer, "i dunno, mama. i think he's lonely." "lonely? why would he be lonely, he has us." "yeah, but does he have anyone else? i mean, outside the BAU, i don't think he has anyone other than his mom."
"true..." garcia looked at spencer with a frown, "what should we do? i think we should do something." she thought for moment before letting out a gasp, "maybe we should suggest a blind date!"
"hmm..." derek chuckled lowly, "that's not a bad idea. but he'd never agree if either of us suggested that he goes on a blind date."
the two turn to each other with matching grins, "are you thinkin' what i'm thinkin', handsome?" "if you're thinking of setting him up, then yeah, i am. now we just have to figure out who we could set him up with."
garcia smiled, "i think i know just the person."
although penelope adored theater with her heart and soul, you practically had to beg for her to attend a play based on a few of edgar allan poe's short stories, your friend never too fond of the macabre. but now, as you were standing in the middle of the lobby of the theater, she was nowhere to be seen.
your phone pinged with a notification, and you pursed your lips, pulling it out to see a text from her. 'so so sorry! the cat i'm catsitting started throwing up and i have to take her to the vet :( please try to have fun on your own! tell me how it goes <3' you frowned, but after sending her a quick message telling her it was okay and that you hoped everything was alright with the cat, you started to make your way towards the auditorium.
although spencer was bummed that morgan had to cancel due to a pipe leaking in his apartment, especially since morgan had been the one to get the ticket for him, spencer couldn't help but buzz with excitement; he could remember all the times when he was young and he’d lay under the covers, holding up a flashlight to a copy of poe's compiled short stories.
"sorry." a woman mumbled to him apologetically as she walked past him, and spencer simply nodded to her with a tight-lipped smile, but instead of sitting a few seats away, the woman sat right next to him. on the seat that was supposed to belong to morgan.
as you were settling down on your seat, the curly-haired man on your left cleared his throat, "i'm sorry, i don't mean to be rude..." he said quietly, making you turn to him with a soft hum, "that seat's... supposed to be reserved. my friend was going to sit there."
"no, this is my seat." you said with a slightly stunned chuckle, showing him your ticket that indeed showed that you were in the right seat, your brows furrowing when you realized something. he was sitting on a seat you'd reserved for penelope, "actually, the seat you're in was supposed to be my friend's seat."
"what?" the curly-haired man said, taking his ticket out of his jacket pocket and showing it to you; he was also in the right seat.
"oh, i know what this is!" your furrow eased up and you rolled your eyes, "they must have double booked these seats. this has happened to me before, the computer sometimes messes up."
"that's why i don't trust technology." he mumbled quietly, but you caught his remark, your lips quirking up into a tiny smile, "really? me neither."
"well, in any case, my friend can't make it, so if there are seats available, i can just move over once your friend comes." the man smiled warmly, "oh, she can't make it either. vet trip."
"well, i promise i'm not the kind of person who talks during shows. i'm spencer." "thank god, i can't stand those kind of people. nice to meet you, spencer." you chuckled softly, telling him your own name, "so, spencer, which story are you the most excited to see?"
"i'd say... the tell-tale heart. it's been my favorite since i was young. always made me shiver. what about you?" "i thought i was the only weirdo who read poe as my bedtime story." you laughed softly, "but i'd say the oval portrait. i always thought there was something romantic, yet... inredibly depressing about it."
"this is indeed life itself." spencer quoted softly, your smile widening as you looked into his hazel eyes, the man looking right back into yours as if you were having a conversation without words.
"oh my god!" you laughed softly as you and spencer walked out of the auditorium together, "your face was so pale when the knocking started!" "to be fair, it's very different to experience it right in front of you than just read it as words on a page!" spencer laughed softly, "and don't think i didn't see the way your eyes glistened when he was painting her."
"it was sad! imagine having a husband like that!" you sniffled, still continuing to laugh, "i'll admit, it was sad." spencer smiled softly, "uh, are you... are you in a rush?" he asked, and you pretended to check the time on your watch, already knowing your answer.
"no, i should have some time. why?" "you don't have to, but i was just wondering... if you wanted to get a cup of tea, or something?" you pursed your lips in thought, "i think i could go for some tea. i know a lovely cafe nearby." you smiled softly.
"great. great." spencer's lips turned up into a goofy smile, "uh, if you give me your coat check ticket, i can go get our coats."
you took the ticket out of the pocket of your cardigan, handing it to spencer, the man nodding before turning around and walking towards the coat check. once you were sure he wasn't looking, you took out your phone, biting down on your lower lip to contain the smile threatening to take over as you went to your message thread with penelope.
'i think i just met a great guy. we're going to a cafe.'
"oh!" penelope exclaimed when her phone pinged, quick to open it to your text thread, a pleased grin taking over her face as she turned the phone to show it to derek. "told you. dream team, babygirl." derek winked and lifted his glass of whiskey, penelope clinking her own glass of wine with derek's glass.

It's absolutely greenwashing and sadly looks like it's working
Yees give us your old clothes for a coupon and we'll recycle them! Go buy more clothes we made!
The end is there's still more clothes, often plastic ones that keep shedding microplastics and will Be There for a long time
But then of course it's working, all that advertisements are supposed to do it create needs you didn't have before seeing the advertisement. Advertisements seek to make you buy More
The only way that companies geared towards profit would honestly encourage the whole Re cycle is if there was some monetary reward put in place for how long x thing they sold is in use
That or just straight up scarcity making it impossible to actually buy more. Like clothes before fast fashion, in hard times, where they'd come from your seamstress mother that'd sew them for you. Cloth is expensive. Each piece takes time to sew. So of course then you're gonna have few clothes but they'll be good quality and last for long. And you're gonna take good care of them because that's just what you do to Important Things. Which will make them last even longer.
No longer fit to wear out even with repairs? Home clothes. Too ragged for home clothes? Cleaning rags until they disintegrate.
What I'm saying I guess is that we have a hard habit that we need to make, being bombarded by advertisements trying to spark us buying more, and with no scarcity naturally motivating us to preserve. Being wasteful is easier, now. Repairing takes time. Quality clothes will cost more. Actually ethically made clothes? Even more. It's so much easier to keep buying cheap bad quality clothes that will then demand More Frequent repairs and will totally disintegrate faster too. Why bother, throw it out. Buy some new ones. And of course since they're so cheap you might as well buy 5 more shirts as a treat.
I think without developing some sense of duty about not wasting, some internal belief that will reward you in place of the repair process being discouraging, it's impossible to truly stick to the whole reusing cycle for long. It's not meant to be rewarding or easier, companies are hard at work so that it isn't. The reward has to come from inside you
Remember "Reduce, Reuse, Recycle" ? I feel like there's been a distancing from the "reduce" and "reuse" part and a favoritism towards "recycle" by corporate American.
Capitalism can still thrive with recycling in the mix. You buy Plastic Thing 1, throw it away after one use, and they take that and recycle it into Plastic Thing 2 and sell it back to you. All while continuing to harm the environment.
Reusing puts a damper on things. They can't sell you Plastic Thing 2 when you're still using Plastic Thing 1. Plastic forks, for example- there is literally no reason why you can't reuse plastic forks more than once (aside from maybe microplastics, but it's too late for that)
Reducing is the one everyone wants to ignore. Just don't buy Plastic Thing 1. You don't need Plastic Thing 1. Pick up a set of metal forks and use those for years. Convenience is killing the planet
#pardon the monologue on main#I've been having thoughts lately about what makes some people waste so much and others save so much#even in restaurants i see this mentality of more is always better show up#someone will praise a restaurant higher if their portions are so big they routinely leave part of the meal uneaten#why? unless you're taking it with you to eat at home. why?#it gives you no more food than if you got a meal thats you ate all of#but it feels Abundant so it's good right?#it's the difference between your base belief being I Want More vs let me take care of things#it feels sorta like.. being in service of your clothes? i took them on. they are mine like my charge and now I'll take care of them#hmm i think bernadette banner wrote something similar in her book actually..

Huntr/x and The Saja Boys being Jealous
Prompt : How Huntr/x and the Saja Boys would react to their partner being flirted with. @erisanix
Author’s Note : I’m so sorry it took me so long to get to this 😭 Hope you enjoy!!! So it was only after writing this (and preparing to publish this) that I realised you probably meant partner as in the reader... I'm so sorry- and will rewrite this if you want
Abby when someone flirts with Mira
The two of them are working out.
Neither of them need it but Abby insists that they work to keep their muscles in shape (insert unnecessary flexing here)
Some dude decides to work out next to them and when abby leaves to grab them water, the person takes their chance to talk with Mira.
His first reaction is to laugh.
Like, genuinely finds it funny.
How did anyone have the audacity to flirt with Mira???
“You’re trying to flirt with her?”
“Oh… you’re serious.”
He’d walk over, arm casually slipping over her shoulder as she glares at the person trying to make a move on her
He wouldn’t say a thing first and would just stand there smiling.
Normally, most people would use their brains and back off once they see that:
1. Mira isn’t interested
2. This huge guy with muscles in standing by her like a body guard and could very much easily beat them up
However, lets say the person keeps going
While Abby knows fully well that Mira can handle herself, he likes playing knight-in shining armour.
“She’s taken” he’d smirk condescendingly at the person (who is now shaking in their boots)
He doesn’t get jealous so much, but will get competitive.
It also gives him an extra EXTRA confidence boost knowing that he (and romance ig 😒) is actually Mira’s boyfriend.
“You think she’d want you? Try again in your next life.”
(He wouldn’t say this in front of Mira of course cause she would obliterate him)
Once they’re gone, he’s gentle and playful again.
“I feel bad for them”
“Why?”
“Don’t you remember how long it took me and romance to convince you to go out with us?”
“Yea-”
“And you liked us” he pointed out in disbelief “That poor person bro. They stood no chance” he’d shake his head dramatically watching the flirter walk away defeatedly.
Romance when someone flirts with Mira
They were both in the practice room. Mira testing out new lyrics with him and Romance just watching her.
A new staff member, who wasn’t briefed on any of the relationships between the groups, attempts to make a move on Mira.
Romance is smiling the whole time.
He doesn’t take the person seriously.
“Oh, you like her? Cuteeeeee. Same.”
Would hug Mira from behind mid-conversation (knowing full well she wouldn’t be able to attack him for the PDA in front of the innocent (and flirty) bystander), his chin resting on her shoulder as he more or less stares at her in awe.
“Isn’t she just perfect?” he’d say, looking smugly into the flirter’s eyes.
He, like Abby, is so confident in his position as Mira’s boyfriend that he has no need to be jealous.
And to be honest even if he did feel jealous, he used to be a powerful demon. Hiding a dead body wouldn’t be that difficult for him.
He wouldn’t mind outflirting the flirter to their face.
He would also let Mira do most of the rejecting.
He lowkey finds it attractive when she goes all “Sorry but I’m already in a relationship”
His head is filled with hearts and flowers and all he can think of is ‘she loooooooves me~~’
But, If Mira gets visibly annoyed or uncomfy (and that would take a lot to happen), his smile turns sharp.
“You can leave now,” he’d say, eyes narrowed as he more or less forces the person away with his sharp gaze.
His tone is so obviously threatening.
Later, he’d make Mira and Abby laugh about it.
“You know I’m prettier than them, right?” he’d tell the two while laying across their legs on the couch.
Mira would roll her eyes but she wouldn’t disagree.
Abby would give romance a proud high five (or whatever it is bro’s do…)
Definitely throws in some extra flirty lines that night, just to remind her of the whole encounter.
Mystery when someone flirts with Zoey
The only Saja boy that would get seriously jealous.
This could go two ways though.
He could either get super protective over Zoey to the point where it’s lowkey animalistic…
I’m basically saying he might start barking at whoever is flirting with her 😭
Based off of his behaviour in the movie i’d feel like he’d try to freak the person out so they’d leave 💀
The more likely option would be for him to just freeze.
Doesn’t speak. Just stares.
You can feel how uncomfortable he is with the entire situation.
Lets say the two are hanging out after practice hours and they encounter a group of fans, one of them thinking they actually have a chance with Zoey.
I feel like Zoey would be completely oblivious to the fans' intentions cause she just wants to believe in the good of everyone.
Remember how she said the Saja boys were magicians even though it was really obvious they were demons 💀
Mystery, after attending to his own fans, just stands behind Zoey and watches,
He tries to pretend it doesn’t bother him but it obviously does.
He can’t stand still.
Crosses his arms.
Shifts weight between his legs.
Backs up a step only to come back up.
He won’t interrupt the conversation. Honestly he might just leave.
But Zoey usually finds him sulking in a corner later.
“You okay?”
“Why must you be so nice to people?” he be all frowny while flopping around on the floor”
“Thank you? she let out a small laugh before sitting by him and moving the hair out of his face.
“I don’t want you to be nice to everyone…” he’d be all flustered but still very upset. “Just me.” a small pause, “and huntr/x and the saja boys i guess…”
She ends up comforting him because his jealousy would manifest as confusion and anxiety.
Poor boy fears she’d still leave him because he used to be a demon.
Starts to lowkey improve his posture and fix his hair next time they're out.
He thinks no one notices but zoey does.
Jinu when someone flirts with Rumi
The pouty jealous one.
Not in a sad and anxious way like Mystery, but more in a ‘stop giving them attention Rumi~’ way.
Doesn’t react at first. He’s quiet, watching and assessing how serious the situation is.
If Rumi laughs at something the flirter says?
His jaw drops in disbelief. Like her audacity??
“Wow. Guess I’m just a background character now.” • Said this to no one but himself. He said it outloud.
Will walk up after the conversation ends like:
“So… did you have fun Rumi?”
“Who was that?”
“Do you like them more than me? Be honest. I can take it.” (He cannot.)
Rumi: “You’re literally the only person I want Jinu.”
Jinu, perking up instantly: “Okay :)”
Still clings to her for the rest of the day, just in case.
He could get super protective though.
They’d probably be out on one of their dates that apparently aren’t dates…
They’d stop for food at a restaurant and the guy taking the order is just so annoying and persistent about getting Rumi’s number.
At this his eyes sharpen, jaw clenches slightly. You’d only notice if you knew him.
He does not interrupt. He’d look to see how Rumi handles it.
If she looks uncomfortable?
He steps in immediately with that low, casual tone he has “You okay Rumi?”
He’s not even trying to be threatening. He’s kinda just making in known that he is the boyfriend.
Even Rumi is flustered with just how protective he’s being.
When they’re walking back to the company, his hand hasn’t left her waist at all.
“Some people just don’t seem to know when to stop talking” he’d mumbled under his breath.
Mira when someone flirts with Abby or Romance
If they flirt with Abby:
Someone’s trying to compliment his abs and muscles.
The person is being all sweet n touchy like
“Omg! You must work out really hard~~”
And he can see Mira seething in the background so he tries to make the interaction seem as friendly as possible.
She's watching it all happen with the flattest expression known to mankind.
Abby's being polite. He’s all smiles like “ooh thankyou :D”
Mira’s patience is running out FAST.
She's standing there, arms crossed, eyebrows twitching.
In her brain she’s absolutely berating the person.
“Can’t they tell that he’s taken??’
However she’d also be in denial about her jealousy.
“Like what do you mean jealousy? I was just worried that the person was wasting their time on you muscles brain” is what she would say if ever confronted about the situation.
She’d eventually calm down until Abby chuckles at one of their jokes.
Her head slowly turns and her eyes are comically wide.
She lowkey looks deranged…
“You think they’re funny?” • “No– I was just–” • “Mm.”
She’d kick him out of her car and leave him stranded on the street.
Eventually walks up casually, a hand on Abby’s bicep.
“Sorry, this one’s taken. But nice try.” Smile = threat.
Later in private?
She’s berating him.
“You’re such an attention seeker”
“I didn’t do anything..” he’s flabergasted
If they flirt with Romance:
Mira doesn’t even pretend to be calm.
The issue here is Romance is the type to flirt back. Not cause he’s a man whore or anything but he just loves when Mira acts all possessive about him 💀
She’s standing behind Romance while the flirter is mid-sentence, her arms crossed, lips pursed.
She’s giving them the look she normally uses to scare off demons before killing them off.
Romance obviously finds it hilarious and adorable.
Mira does not.
She doesn’t speak, just raises one brow at the poor soul.
This person must be blind or something cause they just keep talking???
Oh yea- Where did they meet the flirter?
The two went shopping for books. Yes. Books.
Romance thinks the best way to learn about human culture would be by reading as many novels as he can get his hands on.
This leads to the shop owner flirting with him as they try to recommend good books to read.
The flirter slides him a very steamy looking book and winks at him “This looks like something you’d enjoy if you know what I mean”
When the person keeps talking, Romance is smirking. • “You’re gonna die~” he whispers, all happy.
Mira steps up between them. • “If you value your ability to walk and want to keep your store, I suggest you shut up.”
Romance: 🥰
He won’t shut up about it later.
“I’ve never felt more loved.”
“You threatened violence for me.”
“Tell me again how you’d break their legs.”
He’s just a girl.
Actually he’d probably love saying “I’m just a girl” 💀
Zoey when someone flirts with Mystery
She’s oblivious at first.
Like I said up above, she’ll probably think the person is just being friendly.
“Oh my god, Mystery, they said you have pretty hair! Isn’t that sweet?” • Mystery is trying not to freak out
Eventually, she catches on.
She’ll see the flirter get all up in his space. They’d try to touch his hair, or interlink their arms, literally anything to have physical contact.
Mystery is physically recoiling.
“Wait a damn minute…”
Her whole vibe changes.
Remember how she “ended” mystery in the movie?
“You’re just my type 🤩 Oh well” stabs
Yea that switch up is how she’d treat the flirter.
Her voice is still sweet, but it’s weaponized sweetness.
“That’s my boyfriend.”
One sentence. That’s it.
The air gets colder. The fan who was flirting? Gone.
She then turns to Mystery like nothing happened.
“You okay?”
“You scared them away.”
“Good.” sips her drink
She becomes extra clingy later too. Not because she’s insecure.
She’d do it to reassure him that she wouldn’t be going anywhere regardless of how many people try to flirt with him.
Random compliments and forehead kisses.
“Your hair is pretty by the way.” she’d say this while tying it up into a bun to admire his face. “I’m the only one allowed to touch it though”
“Of course Zoey,” his voice is practically a whisper as she clings onto him.
Rumi with someone flirts with Jinu
They went to the movies together. A new lego movie came out and the last one Jinu saw was years ago so he begged Rumi to take him to see the new one.
She goes to collect popcorn, leaving Jinu to take his seat, and when she returns, someone is in HER chair. Flirting with HER boyfriend.
She’d try really hard not to react.
She wants to be chill. Really, she does.
But the moment someone says “Hey, what’s your name?” and reaches out to his arm?
She’s considering summoning her weapon and wiping their head off clean.
My girl is staring daggers.
Probably the most over protective in the group (could rival Mira)
After all, the guy died for her. Why would anyone even think they could try to flirt with him???
Stares daggers.
Jinu is too polite (and oblivious. The guy used to be a 400 year old demon. Anything he used to know about flirting is now irrelevant)
He smiles. Maybe even giggles just because of how nervous he is. • That is what breaks her.
She walks over calmly, “Sorry. That seat’s taken.”
If the flirter protests? “By who?
“By me. Go find another one.” Rumi’s losing her patience and the movie is about to start.
“I actually like it here,” they’d lean a tad bit closer to Jinu to spite Rumi.
Let’s not forget that Rumi is half demon though!! “That wasn’t a suggestion.” Her voice gets a bit more dangerous and unstable.
Once they’re alone again, she teases him about it.
“Did you like the attention?”
“Nooo– Rumi, no, I was scared. ☹️”
“You were giggling.”
“IT WAS A PANIC GIGGLE!!”
The next time they go out, she’s in his hoodie. Hair down (out of the braid 😋). Holding his hand. The message is clear: • Don’t even look in his direction.

Stiles snuck a look at Derek from the corner of his eye, sitting in the booth beside him, before inching his hand towards Derek's plate. He quickly snuck a few curly fries, having finished his in five minutes of being served. His eyes caught Lydia's who was sitting across from him and he blushed when she raised an eyebrown at him, sticking his tongue out at her before chomping down on the fries. Seeing Derek still distracted talking to Boyd, he snuck a few more handfuls from his plate.
Without stopping his conversation with Boyd, Derek slid the rest of his fries off his plate and onto Stiles'. Stiles looked at him in surprise, his scent sweetening with love and happiness, making Derek turn to him.
Derek pressed a kiss to Stiles' temple and asked, "Want some more, baby?" He didn't wait for Stiles' reply, instead calling over the waitress and placing an additional order for the curly fries.
Stiles flushed red and kissed Derek's shoulder, leaning his head there after. Derek shifted his arm to curl around Stiles' waist and pulled him in closer. Stiles picked up a fry and held it to Derek's mouth, giggling when Derek playfully snapped his teeth around his fingers.
"You two are disgusting," Scott complained, wrinkling his nose.
"I think it's sweet," Erica simpered.
"Thank you, Erica," Stiles pointedly said towards Scott. "We're no less disgusting than you and Allison."
Scott opened his mouth but before he could say anything, Derek said, "Enough."
"Yeah, Scott, enough," Stiles added, throwing a teasing look at Scott.
"Love," Derek sighed, an exasperated fond look on his face.
"What? He started it!" Stiles exclaimed, pointing at Scott.
Derek rolled his eyes and mumbled, "I'm surrounded by a bunch of children."
"Children, huh? I'll show you children," Stiles murmured, scooping a dollop of ketchup onto his pointer finger and smearing it on Derek's cheek.
Derek leaned away from him and hissed, "Seriously? We're in public, baby."
Stiles just raised his brows at him in response, in a 'what are you going to do about it' way. Derek smirked and locked his arms Stiles, who shrieked and wiggled trying to get away. Derek leaned in and smushed his cheek against Stiles', spreading the ketchup on both of them.
"How do you like that?" Derek teased, pulling back but still keeping Stiles in his arms.
Stiles' answer got cut off by the arrival of the waitress who asked them to be a bit quieter as the other patrons were being disturbed.
Derek's ears turned red in a blush and Stiles' cooed at him, licking the ketchup from his cheek before pressing a few kisses there.
"I don't know why I still hang out with you guys," Lydia snarked, looking at them with a disgusted expression.
"Cause you love us, Lyds," Stiles crooned as Derek wiped the ketchup off Stiles' face with a tissue paper.

Dp x DC ideas/prompt
I've read many fan fics and storries where Danny is refered to as "the danger twink" and it got me thinking. What if Danny was an extreme danger twink where when you look at him you don't think he is even capable of looking or being a danger twink let alone and extreme danger twink.
It would go something like this:
*Danny, had his accident at an earlier age so younger than 14, his halfa status makes him grow slower so his 'puberty' would be in his like late teens to early 20's , Danny had bad neglectful parents so he doesn't look the best but in Amity he had somewhat of a food intake with fast food, Sam, Tucker and jazz. Trained in martial arts by Maddie Fenton, and jazz taught him psychology stuff unintentionally, jack Fenton taught him how to properly throw punches and his fights with the ghosts caused him to research human weak points and how to use them to his advantage before he realised not all of them worked on ghosta.*
-now you have a 14 year old Danny, after whatever accident or plot got him to Gotham, looks like he's maybe 12-13, extremely malnourished, looks pale and sickly, has his left arm clearly wrapped in bandages covering an injury and neck (compression bandages for damaged nerves from accident electrocution but no one knows that), cold to the touch probably because of whatever sickness he has and overall looking horrible, and is in a situation of attempted kidnapping, mugging or trafficking every other night or whatever-
Random guy with a knife: hey kid, you better do what I say or you'll be meeting the afterlife sooner rather than later.
Danny aware of his miss leading appearance and just fed up: been there done that, did you know that the after life is green. Oh and there's no choice where you go. Satan's more annoying than scary, like he's got these big horns on his head but-
Random guy confused as fuck: what? - no, I'm not joking. You better follow me or I will have to use force.
Danny: mmmmmm.nuh-uh.
Random guy: ... The fuck you mean nuh-uh?!
Danny: I mean. Nuh-uh. Now good bye. *promptly charges at the guy, disarms the knife from his hand and tosses him over his shoulder despite being like twice his height and throws a well placed kick to his head so he's knocked out.*
RedHood and Nightwing who were hanging out on a mission following traffickers, on top of the roof of one of the buildings overlooking the alleyway this happened in-
Nightiwnt: I'm not seeing things right? That kid just threw that guy like it was nothing... Right?
Red hood: I... Yeah? I mean... Huh?
...
Red Robin having a run in with Danny who again got caught in some random guys attempt to take him or mug him or something. And just as red Robin jumps down to help Danny had already sweeped the guys legs and knocked him unconscious: wait what?
Danny: oh. Hi. I uhhh... He started it. *points at the unconscious guy*
Red Robin: huh?
...
*the bats and birds in the cave, having a meeting because most of them have had a run in with this supposedly 'danger twink' and Oracle showing what ever street camera footage they found of the many times this kid has done something that made no sense like Russian suplexing a mugger, knocking out a group of 4 ppl when they attempted to kidnap him and so on*
Batman: how many of you guys have met him so far?
Nightwing: me, Hood, red Robin and Spoiler. And Signal I believe.
Signal: yeah, I heard some comotions and when I went to check I just saw the kid stood in an alley surrounded by about 3 unconscious bodies and 2 guys holding a knife and a bat looking like they were about to soil their pants...
Batman pinches his nose bridge and is about to speak before Oracle speaks over and pops up on the bat computer.
Oracle: sorry to interrupt, but I just spotted this kid again, and this times it's in clear footage. But this is different. He's not attacking just... Talking? Oh, wait no... Worse he's mentally attacking and psycho-analyzing. Ther is audio.
Oracle puls up a feed and the bats and birds proceed to watch a live feed of Danny verbally chewing out what looks to be a mLe adult holding a gun that still has its safety on, a male teen holding a knife and a female teen holding a duffle of what is assumed to be full of stolen items. The adult proceeds to start crying as he goes to the floor and starts rocking hinself, followed by the male teen collapses to the floor having an existential critics covering his ears then the girl follows with her face covered in tears as she proceeds to have a therapy session with Danny and Danny just helps back as she just spills every detail about her life and struggles all while sobbing heavily.
Red Hood: ... Can I just say... I am actually scared of this kid... Like... He scares me...
Nightwing: ... I don't even know what to say.
Signal: ... I think I like him.
Red Robin: I don't wanna risk being on the receiving end.
Robin: that is a good attack method...
Spoiler: ... Yeah I agree with Hood.
Batman: .... *heavy sigh*
Orphan/Batgirl: New brother :D
Sorry for any spelling mistakes.

Yeah honestly, I just appreciate fantasy that puts thought into its world. I don't think every fantasy needs to go into detail about like, why there are potatoes there. A lot of the time, "potato" is also just an easy shorthand to tell the audience "starchy root vegetables exist here", like in LotR where a lot of the details you might consider anachronisms are very easily overlooked with the "this is a translation" explanation. And LotR makes that explanation work because of all the other unique details present in the worldbuilding.
The problems with anachronisms usually come in when they don't feel like they've been integrated well with the rest of the world. I can believe Hobbits have potatoes because of how much farming they do. Of course they've managed to breed their own starchy root vegetable they can call a potato. It's easy to picture them having every fruit and vegetable known to man, because they love food and they do a lot of farming. That's all it takes to make the potato and the cornfields fit into their world.
But if I'm reading a book set in a standard UK-ish middle ages/vaguely old fashioned time period, and out of nowhere they're using oranges as a casual common breakfast fruit, or coffee just shows up to be a regular morning drink, or cheap chocolate candy just exists now, all with exactly the same connotations they have in our real modern world, i find that weird. It throws me out of immersion.
I don't need the author to write a whole paragraph explaining where those things came from, but I am going to need a little more set up and a reason to feel like those details actually fit the world. They need to fade into the background, easily overlooked. If they stand out, they end up feeling weird. If your worldbuilding can't stand on its own enough for me to glance past the morning coffee, there's a problem.
I think the root cause is authors who just toss in details from their own modern life experiences without really considering whether or not it fits. They're not immersing themselves into the world they're writing, and you can kinda feel it. So authors just need to get into their own worlds and think about what it's really like to live there, and I think that fixes most of the immersion problems.
All it takes is a little description of a fantastical orchard and I can believe the oranges. Mention the import market and I can believe the coffee. Maybe give it a new cultural context while you're at it.
For the longest time I opted on the side of "no coffee, potatoes, etc" in fantasy writing, on the argument that if I was writing a pseudo-european medieval story, featuring elements brought to Europe by colonialism would imply the existence of colonialism, and if I was going to include that kind of elements, I could not just mention them casually, it would have to be a major theme of the story.
Then I scrolled past a post on tumblr specifically about "can you have potatoes in a fantasy setting for no reason" that had pics of Peruvian potato farmers and asked "are you really too much of a coward to not write these people into your stories?" (the tone was probably not that accusative, I paraphrase from my own perspective of this), and something clicked in my head, and this epiphany manifested in my head as Gordon Ramsay yelling
"IT WAS NOT THE FUCKING COLONIALISM THAT INVENTED THE FUCKING POTATO."

Read your diary | Megan Skiendiel
Smut. Any maneskin fans? Loosly based on their song of the same name! Too short, so sorry.
G!p megan. Perv!meg who sneaks into your room when your gone. Reader is just as bad kinda. Perv4perv in a way. Dom!Megan?? Who would've thought

Megan didn't intend on going this far; it started simply as wanting to be a good roommate, doing the laundry. One day while folding and putting it away, she found something, a small book. She shouldn't have read it, but she couldn't help herself.
Surprised by what she found: your dirty little secrets and detailed summaries of your hookups. Then she read further, and her name started popping up. First, just little comments about Megan being attractive, and then it switched; filthy fantasies filled the pages.
The next week, she was doing more laundry, and a pink pair of underwear fell out of the basket. She shouldn't have; she should've just put it back in the basket, but she opted to stuff it in her pocket. Later that night, she wrapped them around her cock as she pleased herself.
It should've stopped there, but it became a bad habit, stealing a pair and then throwing it in the washer after she was done. It was the perfect excuse; you were gone most of the day for work, so she felt comfortable in her dirty routine.
Until today, that is, you had a half day at work. Megan didn't know that, so she assumed it was safe. But it was different this time; she had dared to go further, settling into your bed with your used panties in her panties, reading various pages in the diary.
Just as she reaches into her boxers, you open the door with a sharp gasp at the sight.
"Wh- Is that my underwear?!" You ask, looking at the balled-up fabric in her hand.
"I—I was doing laundry."
"In my bed?!?"
She jumps up, hiding the small book behind her back.
"Well...well." She really didn't want to out herself further, but she also needed a way under your skin to get the control she wanted. "You write about how you want me to fuck you!" A smirk as she gains an upper hand.
Your jaw dropped at this. How'd she know that?
"You—wh—how?" Your cheeks are bright red as you fumble around for words, "Did you read my journal?!"
"This one?" Pulling her hand from behind her back and opening to a page, "I feel guilty. What would she think if she knew I fucked myself in her bed?" She quoted, An embarrassing confession.
"I—stop."
She didn't, flipping forward some pages.
"I wish instead of my fingers it was her coc—"
"Don't act like you're innocent." You interrupt, "You take my underwear when you do laundry. God knows what you do with it."
"I think you know what I do with it." She takes a step, making you gulp, "And I think it turns you on." Faces now only a couple inches away.
"You're disgusting." It's more of a whisper, not meaning it enough to put effort in. She wasn't wrong; you knew that with the way your core dripped.
"I'm disgusting? I'm disgusting?? Says the slut who writes chapters about me and my cock. Let's see, which page was it..." Long fingers flip through pages, "In my dream last night—"
"Fuck you."
The smirk on her face drops, slamming the book shut and throwing it on the bed before a hand moves to wrap around your neck, threatening to tighten. As much as you tried to suppress it, you couldn't help the small moan that left your mouth.
"On the bed."
You oblige, lying down, as she uses the grip she has to push you in that direction. Her hands fumbled with the button to the jeans she was wearing, not bothering to take them off, just reaching in a hand to pull her cock out, hard and already glistening with precum.
Bigger than expected, intimidating almost. Your eyes widen at the sight, causing a cocky smirk on the girl's face as she looks down at you like you're her prey.
"Aw, don't tell me it's too big. You can take it, right?" Faux sweetness in her voice.
Nodding rapidly, needing her to do anything to soothe the heat in the pit of your stomach.
At this, Megan pulls you so your legs hang off the edge. Pulling at your jeans and throwing them to the floor, a thumb rubbing over your soaked underwear, practically drooling at the sight.
"Fuck, no wonder I have to do laundry so much."
"M-Megan, please."
"You want these off, huh?" Despite the teasing tone, she pulls at them as soon as you're nodding your head. Though she doesn't throw them to the side, instead balling them up to stuff into her pants, you were too much in a haze to protest, admittedly the act turning you on more.
Her leaking tip slides through your folds with embarrassing ease before sheathing herself inside you in one thrust with no warning; a moan mixed with a cry echoed off the walls.
"Fuuuck." Megan moans as her head falls back at the sensation, "So fuckin' tight."
The brunette's hands grip at your waist, trying to ground herself and not cum right away. Starting with slow, deep thrusts, pulling little noises out of you with every move.
"You know how fucking long I wanted to do this?" Her breathing gets increasingly labored, and she thrusts quicker with her words as if she's working herself up.
"Fix that bratty attitude." A particularly harsh thrust as she mumbles the last part.
"P-pl-please." The words leaving your lips don't even make sense as you beg her, for what you're not sure.
It's like she was made to fuck you with the way her body fit with yours, the tip of her cock reaching where others have. Her tempo changed in tune with your body; it makes you wonder if she's that good or if she did a little too much research.
"Tell me how good this cock feels."
"Shhhit. So, so good." Words slurring at the pleasure, hands grabbing to try and pull her closer.
Megan's hand that once gripped your waist moved to rub fast circles over your clit, your own hand wrapping around her wrist at the overwhelming sensation. You didn't want to admit that your nerdy perv roommate had you close to an orgasm within minutes. Neither did Megan, as she wanted to uphold her current dominance, holding herself back.
"Mm, I want to fill you up." She mutters through her heavy breaths.
The loud moan you let out shows the effect it had on you, clenching around her, basically begging for it.
"You'd like that, right? Having my baby?" Megan's voice lowered as her hips stuttered, the idea making her closer to cumming.
"Yes! Fuck, yes. Please." Tears stream down your face as you plead for her to fill you up. "Want it so bad."
"Yeah? Want my cum, baby?" Breathless moans and whimpers as her once loserish persona fades back in a bit as she reaches her peak.
Pulling out her eyes filled with wonder as she stared at the liquid dripping onto your bedsheets, seemingly never experiencing it before.
Your body lay limp; you barely noticed her cleaning you up with your own underwear and, of course, stuffing them back in her pocket for whatever perverted thing she'd do with them later. Grabbing the diary from beside you and placing a sweeter-than-expected kiss on your cheek before grabbing your laundry basket.
"Same time next laundry day?" She smirks before walking out to your laundry room.
It seems now you have a new tradition for laundry day.

Thinking about a deadbeat cowboy.
Tw- mentions of noncon, deadbeat bastard of a man , abuse, mentions of violence
He only shows up once he's back from his jobs, horse kicking up dirt as he comes to your lonely homestead. Greeting you smelling like whisky and woodsmoke. Throwing his heavy coin pouch on your oak table with a grin as he presses you into his arms.
"Promised you I wouldn't drink all my earnings away," his boyish grin disguising the anticipation as he waits for a thank you.
You step on your tiptoes to press a kiss against his stubble, at least when he comes to your home he shaves. Your home, not his, this is only a stop to rest his wandering feet, a trough for his empty stomach, and a body to warm his bed. Returning to pin you down beneath him at night.
The first time he had you was nothing short of a nightmare. Ambushing you in the dirt , violent and quick with his hand tight around your throat. A farm dog bent over a bitch. He left you there, in the tall grass outside your home, once he took what he wanted. The only thing you could comfort yourself with was the thought it was over.
The next night he returned, you were too scared to do anything but allow him to violate you again. Fighting got you nothing but a black eye and bite marks, at least with your submission, you got something more. Someone to fix the worn floorboard and the hole in the roof. Someone who eventually stopped fucking you like he meant to only hurt you, placing an unnatural kiss on your forehead as he held you to sleep. When he left after three weeks, you knew the cycle would start again once he returned.
"I didn't know to expect you," you mumble, wringing your apron in your hands. "Didn't make much for dinner only a pie."
Still, he smiles at that. He's not picky when it comes to the temporary domesticity you give him to keep him happy. You've learnt the past year that he always returns to you in between his jobs. Sure, he will darken your door, reeking of whisky, but he won't go to the saloon so long as he sleeps in your bed. Not all women can say that. Or can say their man brings them a heavy purse, treats from cities or traders wagons, jewellery from a wealthy womans neck. So you've learnt to live with it, to not ask him questions about how he obtained his treatures unless you're obviously coy.
He wraps his arms over your shoulders. Asking if there's been any unwanted guests in his absence. Any stray dogs he needs to shoot from his property.
You're not stupid enough to find another man. It would only end up with a bullet hole in his head and one in your ankle. Or maybe your cowboy would put a knife to your sweet face, making sure no other man could ever find you pretty after being ruined at his hands.
"I tell the townsfolk I'm married that my husband rounds up cattle on the ranches. It's only half a lie." You say as you plate up the pie. "Maybe you can come with me to town one of these days so I can prove you exist." You speak too quickly, a sense of panic creeping in. The ring you wear is nothing more than a mirage of respectability, but you needed proof before everyone decided that you spread your legs for the first man to knock on your door. You need there to be proof of him. Before he next disappears. Before it's too late to change opinions.
He only smiles at that. Waiting for you to sit opposite him before he grabs your wrist so hard you nearly scream.
"You're hiding something from me lovely, and we aren't gonna eat until you spit it out. So I advise you to hurry up before the dinner gets cold." He shifts his fingers, and you can swear you hear your joint pop.
"I'm with child!" You announce hurriedly before he snaps your arm in two, the shock of the realisation making him freeze. "I'm not lying about this, I swear ." You're frantic as he stares through you, eyes narrowing at the thickness of your waist - your corset can only do so much to obscure you from someone who's seen you broken down to nothing before himself. You're barely able to breathe through the tension before he starts laughing.
"Well shit. Guess I got to settle down with you now? Can't be leaving you alone with my bastard now, can I?" The amusement in his voice is exasperated rather than malicious, but your hands still tremble at the thought of his permanence.
"Not if I don't want anyone sniffing round my girl trying to do any charity."

JJK Rock Band when you're being shipped with another member.
ᴊᴊᴋ ʀᴏᴄᴋ ʙᴀɴᴅ ꜱᴇʀɪᴇꜱ
Notes, lovely anon for requesting this.
★ Drummer!Sukuna, being shipped with Toji.
Sukuna is drinking his coffee when Gojo says it.
"Yo, did you see that post? ‘Toji x that girl who’s always with them’? That’s literally you and your girl."
Sukuna stares at him.
"The fuck did you just say?"
"It had like 60k likes. They said Toji looked at her like she was his whole world."
Sukuna doesn’t blink. Just turns his head and starts glaring at Toji mid-soundcheck.
Toji, blinking: "What?"
Sukuna gave him a dead glare, "Why’re you making eye contact with my girl?"
Toji furrows his brows, "Bro. She said hi."
Sukuna won’t speak to you for like an hour. Just scoffs and slams the kick pedal louder than usual every time he sees your name trending next to Toji’s.
Eventually, you catch him sulking in the van.
"Are you seriously mad about internet comments?"
"They said you’d have prettier kids with Toji."
You climb onto his lap and kiss his jaw. "They’re wrong."
Sukuna grumbles, wrapping his arms around you like a seatbelt. "Damn right they are."
★ Vocalist!Gojo, being shipped with Choso.
Gojo’s mid-hair routine when he opens Twitter and sees:
"that soft girl who follows Gojo around all the time and choso? soulmates. i said what i said."
He freezes, holding the flat iron in one hand.
Satoru exclaims, "I’m gonna be sick."
Suguru turns to look at him, "You okay?"
"No. They’re giving my girl to the goth piano man."
He spends the whole day pouting.
At practice, he refuses to sing Choso’s harmonies properly. He sings them off-key on purpose.
Choso looks at him, eyes half lidded, "...Did I do something?"
"Nothing. Just stole my life partner, but whatever."
Later, you bring Gojo a drink, and he won’t even look at you.
You finally bring it up, "You're being weird."
Gojo replies, "Do you think he'd write you poems?"
"I literally bring you snacks and chapstick daily."
He softens. "You're right. I'm the total package."
Then he snaps a selfie with you and captions it: “me and the girl you can’t have 🧃❤️”
★ Guitarist!Suguru, being shipped with Gojo.
He finds the edit while scrolling late at night. It’s a clip of Gojo tossing you his sunglasses and you putting them on while laughing.
“Gojo x her is the sunshine duo we DESERVE.”
Suguru just stares at the screen, expression unreadable.
Next morning, he sends it to Gojo with no context.
Gojo: "LMAO do they know she falls asleep on your chest?"
Suguru: "Apparently not."
That night, Suguru brings you coffee, sets it down gently, then murmurs, "Don’t wear his sunglasses again."
You blink. "Wait, is this about that video?"
He doesn't answer. Just lifts your chin and kisses you.
A minute later he posts a blurry photo of your hands intertwined on his story with the caption:
“sunshine? she’s always been mine.”
Gojo reposts it and adds: “don’t be jealous I’m prettier 💋”
Suguru blocks him for 24 hours.
★ Bassist!Toji, being shipped with Suguru.
Toji doesn't do Twitter. But he does hear about it from Gojo, who will never let it go.
"They said Suguru and your girl give off forbidden lovers energy."
Toji raises an eyebrow. "What the hell does that mean?"
"It means people think she should’ve chosen him instead."
Toji looks across the room where you're laughing at something Suguru said.
He walks over. Picks up your bag.
"We’re leaving."
You blink. "Wait, what? We just got here."
"Too much forbidden love in this room. Come on."
Later that night, he gives you his hoodie and tugs you close while you're brushing your teeth.
"You like his hair or something?"
"You’re the one I fall asleep next to."
He grunts. Satisfied.
Next gig, he wears a shirt that says: “she’s with the bassist. stay mad.”
He doesn’t say a word about it.
★ Keyboardist!Choso, being shipped with Sukuna.
Choso finds a clip of Sukuna teasing you and you throwing a napkin at him. Someone zoomed in on Sukuna smirking and wrote:
“why does sukuna lowkey flirt with her like they’re already married 😭”
Choso stares at it.
Closes his phone.
Later, Sukuna throws a drumstick toward your chair at rehearsal and grins when you roll your eyes.
Choso is silent the entire practice.
Afterward, you ask, "Are you mad?"
He shakes his head. "Just… quiet today."
Then adds, "Do you think he’s hotter?"
You almost choke. "Are you serious?"
Choso shrugs. "I wear all black. He wears no sleeves."
You wrap your arms around his neck.
"He’s loud. You’re home."
That night, he posts a quiet video of you leaning against his shoulder in the green room, captioned:
“not loud, not flashy, still hers.”

Name: Square Cloud
Debut: New Super Mario Bros. Wii
The Mario franchise is no stranger to smiling clouds! In fact, it's a close neighbor! A very good friend! Maybe even something more? Ooh la la! But the fact of the matter is, these clouds are almost always Puffs. That's the perfect cloud shape! Fluffy and cute, and delightful to boot. In the case of Mario, the smiling clouds tend to have a rather condensed form, often needing to adhere to a square sprite canvas.
Even then, though, the fluffiness of the cloud is never compromised. Not even in the original Super Mario Bros., where some clouds were Blocks! This is still, without question, a Cloud. A lot of that is owed to the smile. Clouds are happy, and that's that! Except for when they're raining, because that means they're sad. If you're wondering why this hasn't been part of any science class you've taken, that's because no school teaches or has ever taught Cloud Biology. If you try to suggest it to the administration, they laugh at you and ask you to leave. I know this because my friend tried it once. It's so demeaning, it made me never want to show my face on that campus ever again. O-out of respect for the friend. So for now, we sadly must dissect preserved clouds on our own time.
Anyway, the Super Mario series had a pretty good run of compact-yet-not-quite-square smiling clouds for about 24 years. I think that demonstrates a commendable amount of restraint, considering how often clouds can be blocks in this line of work! Then New Super Mario Bros. Wii came along and made a Square Cloud. Was this throwing away the legacy of all the previous non-square clouds? No, it was not. Have some faith in new ideas. What this IS, is Funny! Look at it! I'm going to show you it up close again!
This is just a goofy looking thing. A white square with a face. Not fluffy or puffy at all! This looks like a marshmallow. And yet, when you look at it, you just Know it's a cloud. That's the kind of face a cloud has. The Mario series has conditioned us to recognize the face of a cloud. People think it's crazy when wasps are able to recognize human faces, but we recognize cloud faces! Animals aren't supposed to do that!
The true reason for this cloud being so totally blockular is to tell you that you should hit it from below. That's what you do with blocks, that's how you get the goods. And when you hit it, it turns into a Nice Lakitu! There was an entire turtle compacted into this square all along, and he's so happy to be free that he throws coins at you. I don't think I would feel comfortable accepting money from him after the pain he's surely been through in that square. I think he should buy himself a little something nice. But clearly, he's a generous fellow, and more people should be like him!
If you looked at Square Cloud from the side, it might look like this! A cube with some lips. Kiss it on them.
