Useless Veilguard fact of the day: Day 13
You can use both the left and right stick of your controller to pick options on the dialogue wheel (and not just the left stick like it was in DAI).
Bonus fact: there is a limit on how many dialogue options can be on screen at the same time before the controller will stop responding. In the example below, which is achievable with my Multiple Factions for Rook Mod, you would be able to select dialogue options only using your mouse and/or keyboard.

Check out the tag for more useless facts: #useless davg fact of the day!
#I do really love this screenshot so very much. like that's one busy Rook alright#I'm not sure if it's considered commitment issues or commitment successes#also re: limit. I guess you can only have 6 choices avialable before the game bugs out?#I am not testing for that bc I'd have to rewatch the attack montage too many times but someone can theoretically find out the number#useless davg fact of the day#dragon age#dragon age the veilguard#flowers blogs#flowers.txt#I will always find queue like it's written in the stars

Your Life in 10yrs
This is a tarot reading on what your life will be like 10 yrs from now. This is just for fun. Please keep in mind that not everything is set in stone and we are always manifesting. This is also a general reading so details may vary person to person. If you'd like a paid personal reading that goes more in detail, see previous post on paid readings <3
Merci et commençons
pile 1 -> pile2

pile 3 -> pile 4
Pile 1
In 10 yrs, your life will be so emotionally fulfilling. Especially your home life. You'll be married or in a long term committed relationship. You'll also be well-off financially. Some of you will gain this wealth from your partner. I'm seeing a dynamic where one of you is the bread winner of the family. Even if both of you work, one partner makes significantly more than the other. This relationship is equally fulfilling for the both of you. For any of you that is disabled or has any health issues, I see your partner will take very good care of you. I'm getting you'll be educated ... or more educated. You could have gotten a degree or progressed in your educational journey and got your masters or PhD. You'll be a homeowner. This house will be a wish fulfillment. It'll make you so happy. You'll have a child/children and/or a pet/pets. I feel like some of you will find this hard to believe at this time because your life might look entirely different at the moment. This reading should serve as encouragement to you. Some of you could work or end up working for government or a huge corporation. In terms of any concerns, keep up with your health. Make sure to do your health checkups at the doctor. Also, be careful of the company you keep.

Pile 2
You'll be energetic and bold. You'll be living in the moment and surrounding yourself with people you love. I see you being more of a risk-taker. You guys are going after your dreams. You know you have this life to live once and so you're making the absolute most of it. You could have strong fire sign placements (Aries, Leo or Sagittarius). A lot of your peers or persons your age group might be settling down at this time and leaning towards a more quiet life. You might come off to them as having a more free and child-like spirit. You'll be traveling a lot. On the outside looking in, you might appear impulsive but you actually have everything planned out really well. You're taking trips you can actually afford to go on. You're budgeting and saving successfully. You'll be so connected to yourself. You'll get more into spirituality or religion. A lot of you will gain some level of fame or popularity. As this reading is general, I can't say whether or not you'll be married or committed to someone as it varies person to person. I do see you having options in love. A few of you could be in an open/ poly relationship. Some of you will have at least one child.

Pile 3
You'll be with a soulmate or twin flame. Both of you may have prominent air/ fire placements. You might also have very similar or compatible birth charts. This is your other half. You both will do great things together. Manifesting your dream life will be so easy to do for the both of you. You guys lift each other up. You'll be very successful in your career. Work will be very important to you. By this time you'll feel very settled in to you job. Your relationship and your career have such a strong foundation meaning they'll last. You'll have this job until you retire. This relationship will be 'til death do us part. Or even beyond death considering it's a very strong soul bond. You guys have had past lives together and will probably continue to have more after. You could have career that's based off your looks or your appearance matters a lot in your line of work. I'm getting careers such as news anchors, cosmetologists, influencers, actresses, performers, models etc. You'll have some kind of persona or difference in the way you act or dress when it comes to your work.

Pile 4
I see you'll move away from where you are now. This could be for work. You could move to a new city or country. This new place is somewhere very different from what you're used to. You'll make the decision to live a more simple life. A lot of you are choosing to live somewhere more rural or in a small town. This decision could have been made after a loss of some sort. It could have been a job or a relationship. I'm getting that this move wont be impulsive but is actually something you'd been thinking about for some time. This loss just gave you the drive to go forward with it. You'll be starting over but you'll love this new beginning. You'll be welcomed into your new community. I'm getting neighbours will welcome you with homemade meals and desserts. You'll be very supported.

Sherlock and Shoscombe
So, after the deep dive I did with Sherlock & Co and the issues with the Case of Identity storyline, I thought it was only fair that I talk about their take on The Adventure at Shoscombe Old Place.
*Ahem*.....This was a lot of fun! I just looked up a summary of the original story because I didn't remember it well, and no wonder! It was the very last Sherlock Holmes story Doyle published, later collected into The Casebook, and thus...one of the boring ones. I'm sorry. I really don't like The Casebook stories. It's also the last batch of stories that the Doyle estate was clutching onto before Sherlock went fully into the public domain, which makes the story feel doubly tedious to me.
But! These episodes were a blast! Practically a survey of all the best parts of Sherlock & Co! There's fun banter! Heaps of character background! A really clever update to the original set-up! BRILLIANT acting and foley work! A cheeky cameo! And a truly exciting, satisfying end! I think this is the most direct information we've gotten about John's past since, well ever, but certainly since we learned about his memories of his dad. Now we know that he grew up in a very class-divided town that once felt so much bigger. And he was deeply in love once, with a woman he lost partially because of classism. (Which is such a great mirror for Beatrice and her husband's situation!) He also lost his friends because they had privileges he didn't. (Did John join the military partly as a way to get away from his roots? Out of a desperate need to be praised as a hero?)
No wonder John has so much resentment for the wealthy when it's so deeply personal. I think it's going to be comically awkward and VERY interesting when he finds out that Sherlock is mega super rich. Holmes is often theorized to be the son of a lord in canon. I figure he's at least from a wealthy family that was able to pay for him to go to tons of fancy schools. And then personal tutors. And a full-time staff that always took care of cleaning and stocking up the groceries. (For all his observation skills, I do think Sherlock grew up never considering who made his household run.) I think part of why Sherlock has been so touchy about John's anger at rich people is because Sherlock is SUPER nervous it would ruin their friendship. I am also so pumped to see what the podcast does with Mycroft! I wonder if his autism might be more limiting than Sherlock's. Like he's got the genius skills, he's got the deceptively powerful government job, but he can't handle going out into the world. Going to Baker Street would be an ordeal. Might have a full meltdown if he's not at home, work, or whatever the Diogenes Club is updated to. But.....It's hard to tell how much Sherlock & Co wants us to suspend our disbelief about some things. John and Sherlock have very clearly committed a LOT of crimes on their publicly available podcast. Maybe that will never be addressed or MAYBE Sherlock, Mycroft, or other Holmes allies have been bribing and intervening to keep them from getting arrested. Imagine the drama! "You hate the rich, but you owe all your success to MY money and power, 'Dr.' John Watson!" *Blinks rapidly*
Where was I? Oh yeah, Shoscombe. That. God. Damn. Chase. Scene! So bold for a podcast to have a climax with a car chase at the center. The foley work was top-notch for the driving and the terrain and then the crash and sinking in the lake. Whoever plays John Watson, you did an incredible job! The reckless car chase where, OF COURSE, he still narrates everything, the diving for Robert (and the clever layer of the recorder fritzing), and that CPR! It was all so engaging and believable! I love when John does doctor stuff generally, but this was my favorite example since the gunshot wound at the wedding with The Solitary Cyclist. Not sure I buy Robert's at-home crematorium as being 100% good, but I can believe John thinks so. Might help that John's a bit more desensitized to cutting into corpses than most folks. Finally, I'm sure folks are quite excited that a certain James made a cameo. (Maybe he's interested in why Sherlock and John keep getting away with all their crimes.) I knew he was going to show up at some point, and making Moriarty a listener shout-out is delightful. I just hope it's a while longer before he's ON the show. It always frustrates me when Moriarty winds up becoming basically Lex Luthor. Then again, we've already had similar cameos for Irene Adler and Baskerville Hall (and probably some I've missed) without them showing up yet. We'll see how it goes!
Good job, Sherlock & Co! I'm excited to see what you do next!

Heyyy, Red!!! I have a writing question. How do you revamp scenes that aren’t transitioning well? My current WIP is SO choppy and I don’t know what to do! If you have any writer/English teacher advice to give id be ever so grateful😭🙏🏻
Oh boy, are you ready for a writing info dump?
So, when writing a piece that is transitioning with scenes instead of chapters, there are a lot of steps that go into it. You are probably already doing a lot of these steps instinctively, but if it feels choppy, one of these steps is usually off: 1. A scene is lacking purpose 2. A scene has not completed its purpose 3. A scene is in the wrong place 4. You need stronger transition sentences.
So the first part is the hardest. Every scene must have a purpose for existing. "It's just fun and fluffy," you might say, but even fluff serves a greater point when creating a finished piece of writing. Below is an example from the chapter I'm currently working on, I've got what happens in plain text - so you can see how random and fluffy it sounds - and then in parenthesis below, the literary purpose of its inclusion. (For an alternative tone, replace the word fluff in my advice with angst/whump)
Scene 1: Main Character and a friend are helping each other get ready for a Rehearsal Dinner (This scene establishes the relationship and personalities of these two characters in an exposition format. Later in the story, the friend will die, and so by adding a scene of her interacting with characters now, it will make their grief feel more authentic later) Scene 2: Main Character has a romantic moment with his love interest, makes her a promise that the wedding tomorrow will go smoothly (Establishes the main conflict of this piece - the promise serves as our motivation, everything challenging it will then be considered rising action) Scene 3 - 8: Shenanigans ensue. The bride's father is late to the wedding. The priest goes missing. One of the bridesmaids breaks up with her boyfriend. A wild animal gets loose in the church. The groom gets cold feet and leaves. Shenanigans are also solved at the end of each respective scene. (This is my rising action - each scene serves to make the problem of keeping his promise more difficult. It shows that at several points along the way the character could quit, but builds both his arc and the emotional stakes of the story when he does not). Scene 9: Character A shares a dance with his love interest at the end of a successful wedding (Provides an explanation for how the characters and their relationship has grown after this experience.) Scene 10: A fluffy scene where Character A and his love interest discuss their relationships future and commit to avoiding issues through honesty (Resolution of the story, sets goals for upcoming chapters, and provides the key to resolving future conflicts.)
The good news is, once you have the first part done, the second part becomes easy. Did it complete its purpose? Did you end on a sentence that really highlights why the scene is there? If it's establishing a relationship, how can you make sure the audience got that? If it's creating a conflict, how are you underscoring the consequences of letting this conflict go unresolved? If it's resolving a conflict, how have you made sure this issue is dealt with and not going to bother anyone again later? If it's providing resolution to a piece's theme, how can you point out that theme one last time through reflection or looking to the future?
Once you've made sure all scenes are complete, they are serving the purpose you meant them to, you've met all their goals, you have to ask, is it in the right place? You'll notice my example above maps onto the plot diagram: exposition, conflict, rising action, climax, falling action, resolution. We tend to think of our stories linearly - remember my post it note advice? - but that doesn't always make for a smooth flow when writing it out. So, the next thing is to match the scene's purpose to it's place - if it's purpose is to provide exposition, it probably belongs earlier in the plot, if it's resolving conflicts, you want it closer to the end. You can achieve this through turning things into flashbacks or cutting out time relevant details in order to move things around.
Lastly, once everything is doing what it should and in the correct place, you want to make sure each new scene starts with a small tie-in to the old scene. This can be a sentence relating to time, it can be a bit of a joke by maybe contradicting how the last scene ended, it can be repetition of an important line, just to name a few. Nothing gets rid of a choppy feeling like a smooth transition in your opening sentence. Good news, this is normally the problem and it's definitely the easiest to solve.
Obviously, writing is super subjective, so if this advice doesn't work for you, feel free to throw it out. But hopefully it helps with the writers block a little? And as always, I love asks, so feel free to follow up if something was unclear or if you have a more specific question!

Last two episodes
Episode 5
I was getting a little worried that his children weren't going to appear, i understand Anne Marie not appearing and her and Bernadette not getting interviews (although i would have liked it, showing who Alain was at home or how the sport affected him),but his children not appearing would be missed
what is that
It's funny at the beginning of his season in Williams he only noticed his neck a little stiff and later on the car tried to kill him
He looked so good in that Williams racesuit, something about the shape and his hair worked
From "Everybody thought he would win the first ten grands prix straight away" to " I'm sure Alain had doubts that season” is a ride
Damon Hill in williams did have an ability of reading his teammates
"That year was one of my worst seasons, perhaps for me psychologically "
I didn't expect his Williams time to be this uncomfortable, i thought it was only the car that he wasn't fully comfortable in
It's very interesting to compare the general fanbase view of the williams FW15C as a car that "drives itself" vs the champion on that car saying that he found it extremely complicated to drive and very tiring is such a great fact for me, speacially
Of course, Damon knows how and why Alain is uncomfortable in the car and hoping it gives him an advantage
" It's a successful return or a failed return "
"But actually, it was me who was surprised lay his good physical condition" Damon what where you waiting for?
Watching the footage of Prost vs Senna in 93 and getting excited about it
I would never judge Alain for banning Ayrton of being his teammate at Williams, if his time at Mclaren was that stressfull i think he win in his right to blocked him. Besides i'm pretty sure it kept Damon on the team (i like f1 driver damon, the jury is still out on pundit damon)
That cursed puppet show is really hilarious
"Everybody considered Alain's attitude as normal. Except him (Ayrton) " I'll take your word for it Damon 🤣
... he is still salty about
We have to give Ayrton credit, the little psychological warfare he did commit was pretty effective, at least against Alain
Not Alain comparing his physical struggle with the car to cycling mountain stage, how french of him
He really was going through it at williams, like crucial part of him deciding to retire
"The only thing that made you cry was your bike", Victoria please
prost's 50 the victory should be more recognized
Episode 6
Those parades in the winning car on the streets should be more popular
And we arrive to Ayrton asking about Alain's retirement to french journalist Lionel Froissart, good to hear from the man himself
he even asked how the people in France reacted
Not him thouching Ayrton in the leg to have just a handshake and Ayrton pulling him up to the podium
It will require a whole essay, but the issue they had with believing in God as a protector with Alain and Ayrton seemed to boil down to really personal experiences with death each of them had that made them come to opposite conclusion, and of course the media blowing out of proportion
Again what's up with Damon Reading his teammates mindset like a book, maybe this was the reason he dealt with JV so well
The story we all know
So hard hearing Jo Ramirez account, like he ignored everything to focus on his job and Keke of all people comes to tell him that Ayrton is dead, even if he didn't want to know
Alain being the only driver invited to the Senna home, the grief in that moment
Not Alain is still waiting for the next French F1 world Champion, that is really touching
Not all his embarrassing videos at the end
Showing his childhood videos at the end to his children is really cute
He got confused with Richard Anconina (actor), worst is that they do look alike (when they were younger) the question is why did that fan didn't notice the nose

Disclaimer: this is a very long ask. Please feel free to ignore it if you're busy, or for any other reason - 'I love your work!' is a decent summary. Hello Mr. Wales! And belated welcome to tumblr from someone else who also spent years seeing tumblr screenshots on reddit and twitter before joining.
I read Significant Digits a while back (immediately after reading HPMoR) and enjoyed it a lot, so thank you for that! More recently, I've tried doing some writing myself, with middling success (a HPMoR, Delve, Mother of Learning and Mage Errant crossover).
One of my readers left a long and fascinating comment on my fic, in which they quoted your review of HPMoR at length: https://forums.sufficientvelocity.com/threads/a-call-to-the-dark-city-delve-mother-of-learning-hpmor-mage-errant-multicross.127432/post-30801851
I found that I disagreed with your thoughts quite a bit, which surprised me! My response is in the next post in that chain, but the gist (ignoring context specific to my fic) is this exchange:
Harry does not win the climax of the fic by having overcome his flaws, he wins it through brutal murder. The biggest organic change he undergoes is from believing in the value of truth to advocating for multiple conspiracies against both the wizarding and muggle worlds, and if that's character growth, I find it ugly.
My (shortened) response:
As Alexander Wales notes, Harry *does* change in HPMOR: he becomes less open, less willing to share information widely, and shifts focus from local issues (people and ethics near him) to what he considers global risks and outcomes. As a reader, I'm not too interested in whether or not the change in Harry's character is in a 'good' direction, or whether or not he becomes a better person, or whether or not his views over time gradually approach my own. For me, the most important thing in a story is that it is *interesting* - and I find Harry's arc in HPMOR very interesting.
I'm curious about if you have thoughts on the general debate there - to what extent do you think writers should prioritise faithful simulation of characters and setting vs. giving the characters an arc with an emotionally satisfying conclusion? Or is deciding initial conditions such that accurate simulation leads to a satisfying character arc and emotional conclusion *the real puzzle*?
Thanks again - I've enjoyed your writing a lot over the years, and expect to enjoy it more soon! (About 10 of my readers have independently recommended that I read Worth the Candle based on the stories I've included in my fic, so it's pretty close to the top of my reading list :p )
(I am obligated to point out that Significant Digits was not mine. I wrote a very short epilogue here, but nothing of the length or complexity of any of the notable fan sequels.)
I've been thinking about how to answer this for a bit, but I think what it comes down to for me is that I want a story to have a clear thematic, emotional, or intellectual through line. I want a story to be about some specific thing, and then take that thing through its paces, and to have us come out the other end having explored that thing in its fullness.
To some extent, I like stories best when they're driving at some singular vision, which I know as a sprawling webfic author probably seems insane. So if the ultimate conclusion is "yes, we should commit conspiracies against people for their own good" then I would like for the early parts of the story to show us why that's the case, ideally by having some truth be put out into the world that causes damage, or by showing how a lesser conspiracy worked to protect something, or whatever else. Or contrarily, if it's the work's position that conspiracies are bad things, then it should show us how and why they're bad, and why this character is making that decision anyway. Or if the work isn't sure how it feels about this thing, I still want them to explore it, to see the different scenarios and thoughts.
I'm an avowed fan of HPMOR, and I am unfortunately the sort of fan that has a lot of critical takes about the things that I enjoy. My biggest problem with HPMOR is that it's not thematically "whole": the individual parts don't feel like they mesh that well together (in my opinion). With that said, I haven't reread HPMOR in a very long time, and my arguments are rusty, so I don't want to give them here.
I think my desire for thematic cohesion is probably work-dependent, but even so, is also probably at the far end of reader preferences. Some people are perfectly happy to read things that are more simulationist in nature: a character does things because that's what they would do, and if this doesn't build up to some grand theme or climactic showdown, so be it. I do think a lot of the trick of writing is making character stuff work in harmony with plot stuff, because you don't want people to feel like "oh, he just did that because the plot demanded it" (though they will say that about almost anything, in my experience).
I don't think that HPMOR is fatally flawed for its thematic wanderings, and I do think there's some sense in which it's best read as a you'd read a TV show with multiple "seasons" which are individually about something but don't necessarily have as solid of a through line. It's just a personal preference thing, I guess.

Buzz 7.4
Thank you for visiting Dog City
Listen, if you can't appreciate someone who's got the stains of labor on their body and clothes, that's a failing on your part
It's interesting seeing Taylor actively think through how to handle Rachel as they're actively arguing. She's a problem to solve like any other, but she has to wrap her head around the logic that'll get through to her
There we go, problem solved with the assurance of future violence. Classic.
Fucking hilarious. Rachel can tell what's going on here, and human interaction is her kryptonite, that's how you know it's obvious.
See, Rachel doesn't have the exact right idea here, because there's no way someone as straitlaced as Brian would ever go for it, but the fact that she offered literally any advice or help on this is kinda remarkable, and I'm sure there's at least someone out there that Taylor could use that strategy on with success
I'd be sore about anything Kaiser said in my presence tbh
Being black in the Nazi Cape Capital of the country has to fucking blow, I literally cannot imagine the kind of hell that is
Also I wish they got to rake Kaiser over the coals for this but I don't think they're gonna have the time for it tbh
Be nice to her >:(
Again, the analytical mind on display, and also the dogged commitment to solving a problem
Tracks as well as anything
Also lmao at Brian's ongoing torment as the unofficial leader. This is what you get for insisting on being the Responsible One.
Ahh, dear
Haha, what could possibly make everything so bad
Full confirmation that the Empire holds Medhall, and once again I'm forced to ask what the hell the CEO of a pharmaceutical corporation is doing even bothering with a street gang. Kaiser could be buying members of Congress with that kind of sway, why is he sweating over protection rackets?
Also, I know that this is a violation of the rules of cape society, but boy do I not care about the personal lives of fucking Nazis being ruined on account of their deeds
And now Coil has fucked them
Annnnd this is the only real issue with unmasking the Empire, it means they've got nothing to lose when it comes to throwing the mother of all shitfits
Alec why
The only shame of this particular arc is that they're not gonna be able to kill nearly enough Nazis to be satisfying
(The only amount of Nazis that would be enough is "all of them" btw)
Current Thoughts
Taylor is so good at being smart, and yet she has such an incredible capacity for thoughtlessness, it's a remarkable duality
Stop being mean to Rachel, she's cool
The Empire getting fucked over is nice, although it's a pretty sloppy maneuver considering how much collateral damage is guaran-fucking-teed to happen
...Also, why did Alec not notice his phone ringing? What's up with that

Bodyguard (Kim x Leo)
yes, this is absolutely not the second day of December.... I have commitment issues, I'm sorry 😭 this definitely isn't my best work, but I wanted to let it out anyways, as I didn't have a really good idea in particular for this prompt
Dykecember day 2: bodyguard
Words: 696
When Crowstorm blew up overnight, all members were happy with their newfound success.
Initially.
However, they soon realized that fame is not without consequences: they had to change their daily routines, pay special attention to what they do in public, and deal with fans who were not familiar with the meaning of the word privacy’.
Castiel first considered it hilarious, then annoying. Then, he received (at his home!) a letter with a little vial for him to send back ‘a lock of his hair and a drop of his tear’ – the ingredients for some kind of love spell. This was the point when they decided that people will overstep their boundaries more and more often, so they need to protect themselves.
Leo was the one to experience this kind of ‘love’ physically. She wanted to run some errands, when a group of teenagers suddenly appeared around her. They asked for selfies with her, and one boy wanted to put his arm on her waist, but ‘accidentally’ lowered it.
Leo hired a bodyguard that afternoon.
---
"Sooo, this is it."
Leo gestured around in her apartment, not really knowing what to add. The young woman standing in front of her (who insisted on simply being called ‘Kim’) started walking around, inspecting the doors, the windows, even the view of the street and neighbouring houses.
“You’re taking this very seriously, I can see. Did you have to protect someone really important in the past?”
“Oh, sure.” Kim stopped her examination to turn around, facing Leo. “I’ve worked for ministers, CEOs, and people whose title I can’t even tell you. Don’t worry, I will do my best to protect you. No one will die again under my watch.”
“...again??”
Leo was about to ask more, but she caught Kim’s smile while she turned back again. The rocker couldn’t help but laugh – despite Kim’s initial silence, she was starting to like her newfound bodyguard.
“Well, that’s the least I expect. I can’t pay you if I’m dead. And hey, maybe you will even find me funny. Might motivate you to keep me alive.”
“Oh, you need to work harder than that to make me laugh.”
---
It turned out, she didn’t need to work harder. Whenever it was just the two of them, in a private setting (which happened more and more often as time went on), they behaved like ages old friends. Leo was an endless source of adventurous and fascinating stories, while Kim kept Leo grounded and motivated in more ways than one.
One day, Kim decided to check out the Instagram page of Leo. This is not something that she hasn’t done before, but she still liked to scroll there from time to time. Leo’s page (as all other members’ as well, of course) was filled with posts about their upcoming album. They worked on it for a really long time, and it was supposed to be released in two months.
Among the sneak peaks of the album’s cover and (muted) recordings from their studio sessions, a different post caught Kim’s eye: Leo and an unknown woman kissing.
Kim sat up straight. How did she not notice this before?
It was posted not long after they first announced the album. It was probably part of the campaign for it, but Kim couldn’t help but feel a little sting in her chest.
Was she jealous?
---
When she met Leo, a couple days later, Kim had already made up her mind. What she said on her first day was clearly a joke, but developing feelings for the one she’s supposed to protect could cause serious problems for them.
When Leo opened her door, Kim didn’t hesitate.
“This is the last time you see me as your bodyguard. I want to end my contract.”
Leo didn’t answer at first. She was shocked.
“Is everything alright?”
“I-” Kim sighed, then shook her head. “I want to protect you, but I’ve realised that I have feelings for you that aren’t right. I will always be here for you if you need me, but I don’t think I should be your bodyguard anymore.”
With that, she turned around, not giving Leo the chance to reply.

Succession AU with CEO’s son Aegon and junior analyst Amara… 😏
Good timing considering the pictures that came out today. Brief interlude to show them off? Yes? Yes.

Him being second to Rhaenyra in Daddy's affections is how I placed them in the modern AU I once wrote and it was a blast. But if we're more specifically aligning him with Roman Roy and Amara is working at the company, the dynamic definitely changes up.
He probably has nicknames for everyone in the office (with varying degrees of success as most people don't feel too positively about him) and Amara's is My Little Pony because she always has her thick hair in this long, very heavy ponytail and Aegon jokes that her head must be killing her but that he'll give her a massage if she asks nicely. She usually grimaces and pretends he hasn't even spoken.
Keep in mind, this motif would return later where him unravelling her hair for her after a long day is a sign for her to finally relax, and his fingers running through it puts her and her exhausted scalp right to sleep.
He's got pretty intense mommy issues in this one (obviously) and his type tends to be older women, with the occasional younger one thrown in that he exerts his power over when he's feeling a lack of it himself. Amara might just be the latest young thing who he's intent on using for his power trip. It's not a love story in the conventional sense.
This is a very powerful man who thinks he's powerless and so acts out regularly - Aegon is dangerous just like he is in canon. He knows the lawsuit he'd get slapped with if his conduct is even slightly out of line with Amara, but the more she fends him off like he's a vampire and she's got a crucifix, the more his frustration grows. Sure, he won't assault her, but has he thought about it? Yes. Has he made jokes about it with his friends? 100%. His frat bros make SA jokes all the time, and though he hasn't actually committed the crime himself, Aegon plays along as men often do when they're in groups.
But Aegon in any position of power is just a fuse waiting to go off tbh, and I prefer to explore the darkness of that rather than create some vanilla world where everything is fine and he magically changes. People usually don't change which is the great misery of life. And yeah, boss/secretary AUs are fun for escapism, but I'm the type of person who watches Godzilla or a Marvel film and winces at the infrastructure being destroyed and how long that'll take to clean up. That's what those escapism AUs are for me. I find way more comfort in realism and the bad things happening because when the character tries to get out of the situation, it might shed light for me and my real life problems.
Tangent aside, no he wouldn't touch her without consent, but the inappropriate jokes, and the general irritation of his presence stretches on until one day something snaps and she reacts badly. She's sexually attracted to him which is the frustrating part for her and adds to her anger, so it most likely would end in some kind of groping/kissing session where they're both making a competition out of who can hurt the other most.
Their sex life is probably very violent, especially once coke is involved. Amara's career is also not really getting on a trajectory to anywhere, because if she agrees to dating him, he'll take her straight to a higher position she didn't earn and will probably be overwhelmed by. Everyone will whisper that she fucked the boss and call her a nepowhore pretty much. The corporate world is cutthroat and if you're not prepared...well.
His aim is to make her his baby mama and keep her in his life in some form or other (he's under no illusion that Amara would ever agree to marry him) and hers is to get away from him somehow. But she keeps crawling back into his bed like she's a junkie and he's a pile of china white stacked in lines on the bathroom counter.

Hey I’ve talked about this on here before but I very much disagree with people wanting to label Louis as an alcoholic. People really like to use that term and it doesn’t really apply to Louis from what I can see and this is why: in addiction medicine addiction is something that gets in the way of a person’s ability to live their lives. Things like relationship problems, inability to work/hold a job or legal problems related to their use and continuing the behavior despite persistent harmful consequences. And then there’s dependency and brain changes and things like that. In the US where I am, the surgeon general says men can have 2 drinks every single day. Whether you think people should or not is up to you but that’s the official stance. Louis doesn’t seem to have trouble with his work commitments considering he just came off a successful international tour. He seems to have strong relationships with people in his life. And I’ve never heard about Louis being too drunk. As we’ve seen this week addiction is very serious and should be taken seriously, Louis doesn’t hit the marks for that diagnosis or label. At most, in my opinion, he MIGHT be a problem drinker (that’s the official term 🤷🏻♀️) which means in practice that he should be careful. Personally I don’t think he is, I think he’s a social drinker and he’s young and likes to have fun and is very much in control of his substance use. He also seems to have a strong support system which is critical. I don’t think it helps anyone to decide anyone who consumes drugs or alcohol is an addict. They could be! But most people are not. I also think that it’s not right for us as fans to decide that. If he ever does experience addiction which I hope he does not, I hope we will all respect his privacy and show compassion if he ever wanted to share that with us. Liam chose to share it but he didn’t have to. Ok this has gotten way longer than I meant for it to. My main point: Louis doesn’t appear to meet the requirements.
Hi, anon!
I haven't seen anyone label Louis as an alcoholic, other than harries who say it to hate on him. I don't think Louis is an alcoholic, but he's got a dependency that he's talked about himself that's concerning to me. We have had several instances of Louis being too drunk, and it's all been after life changing events in his life. Alcohol is a coping mechanisms for him, and i don't think that's debatable at all. I think we can all agree on that. There are also a lot of functioning alcoholics out there, who has an addiction and a dependency, where you can hardly tell they have a problem because they do their job and keep their commitments, while hiding their dependency or not realising they have an issue.
I don't think it's very helpful to judge anyone, but it's also not helpful to ignore the signs we see and sweep it under the carpet either. If he's got a problematic relationship with alcohol, i think he should seek help and stop drinking alltogether before it turns into alcholism. I understand Louis' need to dull his pain and trauma, because we all know what he's been through. He's doing remarkably well mentally despite everything. But he's still at risk and there are better ways of dealing with pain and trauma that i wish he'd give an honest try. We all love him and want him happy and healthy, and around for a long time.
Also, the amount of units of alcohol per week people should limit themselves to, varies from country to country. It's also about how often you drink, pattern of drinking, what you drink and tolerance levels. Some people are more at risk than others, and i would say Louis is in that category.
It's really hard to sit by and just watch someone you love be in pain and dealing with it in unhealthy ways, without being able to help and support them in any way. I really hope Louis is concious of his relationship with alcohol and knows he's at risk. But i have to say that i'm not sure he is.

I want to love you (more than I love you)
***spoilers***
I was pretty sure I was the ideal audience for The Lost City. And - TLDR - I did really enjoy it the first time I saw it but have struggled to get through it on the second time of viewing, a year later. (WHY?)
Still loved the opening though - the setting and the scrubbing out.
First - why am I the ideal audience?
Do I love Romancing the Stone? Back in the day, wholeheartedly. These days? Probably, definitely, undeniably not ALL of it. Hasn't ALL aged very well, has it? But Kathleen Turner's Joan Wilder and the journey/s she goes on, particularly the emotional one? YES PLEASE.
Sandra Bullock is Loretta Sage who is a sort of Joan Wilder for the 2020s. Both are super successful romance novelists, but LS leans academic and tough, plus also - grieving - whereas JW is ALL Mills and Boon, soft, longing for love, cat-lady-in-training material. Both end up on a treasure quest because someone took their books a bit too seriously (although, sometimes having your books taken seriously can be a good thing, per this lovely clip via YouTube, below).
youtube
Do I love Lara Croft? Not as much as I feel I should. Shout-out to Brad Pitt's character cameo (I think it's a cameo?) as a guy who surely would be at home in either of those movies IMO.
Do I love Indiana Jones? Is the Pope a major figure in the Roman Catholic church? Does Indy have a fraught relationship with snakes?
youtube
See - makes sense of the snakes, right (and I can 100% imagine the writers being like FINALLY I have chance to question the snake logic!)
Big shout-out to Daniel Radcliffe who for me was the absolute and slightly unexpected highlight of this movie, especially on the second run at it, and who could have credibly villained up in any of the previously mentioned flicks, or, another obvious inspo - James Bond.
Closer to home - am I a big fan of Sandra Bullock?
Yes, really am, and I think my favourite of her movies remains 1995's While You Were Sleeping though I accept that the dumb McGuffin that gets the plot going is now considered ethically ICK (and, it was never, as such, a move we were supposed to approve of?)
But come on - is this guy... leaning? Still (to me) adorable.
youtube
BTW had absolutely not realised how Proto-Sopranos the landlord guy is (can't remember - is that his role/relationship to the SB character? - can't quite summon the energy to go and find out). And, indeed, having looked up the actor, he was considered for Tony Soprano when that series was created a few years later (greenlit 1997 and on screens from, I think, 1999) and played a small role in S1.
I did really enjoy the Channing Tatum character, though he was playing, of course, a zillion times softer than in my current favourite of his movies. No, not Magic Mike. Not even Step Up* (which I liked).
[*There's a moment later on in The Lost City where they dance and - wow - it's really something to see someone on screen who can REALLY move. SB perhaps not so much, but CT? Fluid to the max.]
For reasons that probably speak to some personality deficiency or psychosis, my fave CT movie is 2013's White House Down, naturally:
So - the issue? The out-of-water environment was GREAT. The constant references to ridiculous treasure hunt / action adventure movies also really worked for me. I think big picture the movie stands or falls on how much the viewer can believe there's a soft, worthwhile person under the surface of SB's dismissive, superior veneer and whether it's fun to watch Person In Position of Power Being Mean to Lovely Softer Person Who For No Obvious Reason Adores Them.
Turns out that I can go with that only once.
youtube
Perhaps 1st time through I'm expecting the Mean Person to get over themselves faster. On a second viewing, my patience is lower and I want her to behave better, faster. No, I don't think that being scared of moving on or commitment or fresh heartbreak is a good excuse.
It's also a close revival of The Proposal - except that CT is all sweetness, no snark while RR is always at least a little bit of a blend.
I enjoyed The Proposal - but I didn't entirely enjoy it. (And again, there's some secondary material that hopefully wouldn't make the cut if it was being made now and that would be frankly unregretted.)
PS Thought RR's snark was on point with his birthday message to SB last year - how very on brand to reshare this Gorgeous Bodies image while simultaneously joking about how industry standards have changed AND, I think, by doing this publicly, jokily, reaffirming the idea that this was one of the movies With Nothing To Hide.

for the dark urge asks: 5 + 15 + 1 (because i really need to know why kyvir is a bard of all things for a durge)
x @zoneofsmites
(Durge asks!)
Yeah bard sure is a choice for Durge huh.
1. What circumstances led to your Dark Urge becoming their Class/Subclass? I've talked about this a little before, but when Kyvir was eleven or so and mostly living on the streets he got caught murdering someone by a woman who happened to be a not-particularly-scrupulous bard (I'm tentatively saying a tiefling woman named Euphoria, but I'm not entirely settled on that just yet). While the murder child was... a lot, she decided that his skill at sneaking around would come in handy, so she made him a deal: she wouldn't turn him in to the Fist if he stole some notes from a rival bard for her. When that went well, she offered to teach him the bardic arts in exchange for his continued services as a spy and saboteur, an arrangement that worked quite well until she ran out of things to teach him that he couldn't pick up just as well or better on his own and Bhaal got sick of his kid having affection for someone else and made him kill her. (Don't feel too bad for her, she didn't even let Kyvir live with her. This did make it easier for him to indulge his Urges without her noticing, but still!) She also taught him the basics of College of Swords stuff, but he picked up most of it on his own after her death. Also, since I'm seriously considering multiclassing him into assassin rogue next run: that came entirely by instinct, and is why he was a reasonably successful murderer before even hitting his teens.
5. What opinion does your Dark Urge have about the Gods? Keeping in mind I'm not super knowledgeable about Forgotten Realms cosmology (and setting aside Bhaal, since that's a separate question on the list)... The good gods are a bunch of self-righteous bastards and the evil gods mostly just get in the way. Kyvir's not fond of any of them. Well, except for Bane; he has a genuine, deep-seated respect for Bane. Turns out that when you've got divine daddy issues and a bone-deep terror of being out of control, the god of tyranny starts seeming like a pretty compelling option for worship! What no it's not even a little bit a sex thing shut up.
15. What is your Dark Urge’s greatest fear? Losing control of himself permanently. The way Bhaal can take control of him and force him to kill even people he very firmly doesn't want to scares him at the best of times (and plays a part in why he can't fully commit to his relationships with Gortash pre-amnesia and Astarion post-amnesia until after he's tried to kill them and they've managed to stop him), but the thought that one day his father might decide not to give control back? The idea that one day Bhaal might yank his leash tight and leave him nothing but a mindless, obedient puppet moving only at the whim of his god forever? That terrifies him. Orin's fate keeps him up at night longer than his own death does.

Read this: The Dialogue Between Angelo (POW) and Halle Berry (@halleberry):
Halle Berry (@halleberry):
"I have a question regarding the system you use for delivering screenplays. How can I obtain one of your screenplays?"
Angelo (POW):
"I initially entrusted SDM (@sdm__92) with this responsibility, but his allegiance lies with Beyoncé and Oprah. As a result, I had to terminate my agreement with him. At present, I have no alternative courier, and his lack of loyalty poses a significant challenge for me."
Halle Berry (@halleberry):
"Would it be possible for SDM (@sdm__92) to collect the screenplay from your home and personally deliver it to me in the United States?"
Angelo (POW):
"Yes, he is fully capable of handling such a delivery. However, there is a major issue that must be addressed before we proceed."
Halle Berry (@halleberry):
"What issue are you referring to?"
Angelo (POW):
"The 'elephants in the room'—Beyoncé and Oprah. They will undoubtedly attempt to bribe and influence SDM (@sdm__92), luring him away from our cause. If that happens, we will lose our only reliable courier, as he will ultimately abandon us in favor of their camp."
Halle Berry (@halleberry):
"That is truly disappointing. What can we do to persuade SDM (@sdm__92) to remain loyal to us?"
Angelo (POW):
"I'm not entirely sure, but I suggest inviting him to the United States alongside Tracey Edmonds for a direct conversation. Explain to him the critical importance of these screenplays to your career. Make it clear that their safe delivery is essential to your success as an actress. If he fully grasps the stakes involved, he may reconsider his position and choose to remain committed to us."
Halle Berry (@halleberry):
"I will make a concerted effort to win him over and help him understand how vital these screenplays are for my career."
Angelo (POW):
"I trust that you, being a highly intelligent woman, recognize the difficulty of finding trustworthy individuals capable of handling these screenplays with care. SDM (@sdm__92) is the only person I have in mind for this task. He is reliable, but if Beyoncé and Oprah reach out to him, he may be swayed by their influence and abandon us entirely. This is where the real danger lies.
Do you now understand why it is imperative to have this discussion with him? He needs to realize that his lack of loyalty could result in significant financial losses due to intellectual property theft."
Halle Berry (@halleberry):
"I will have this discussion with him. I recognize that these screenplays are essential for my career, and SDM (@sdm__92) is the only person currently available who can retrieve them from your home in France and personally deliver them to my home in the United States. No one else is capable of executing such a delicate operation."
Angelo (POW):
"Moreover, we cannot entrust the postal service with this responsibility. The risk of interception is too great. The safest method is for SDM (@sdm__92) to personally transport the screenplays via a direct flight from Paris to California. Given that I have no other trustworthy couriers, I urge you to invite SDM (@sdm__92) to California and impress upon him the importance of this task. Convince him to act as your dedicated courier for the secure delivery of these screenplays. I will write them and hand them over to him; his sole duty will be to ensure they reach you safely."
Halle Berry (@halleberry):
"I agree entirely. Given the risks associated with postal delivery, a direct handover remains the most secure option. I will do whatever is necessary to ensure the safe arrival of these valuable screenplays."
Angelo (POW):
"One final note—you must cover the cost of SDM’s airfare. Since he is undertaking this mission as a favor to us, it is only fair that you finance his round-trip ticket from Paris to California."
Halle Berry (@halleberry):
"I understand, and I will cover his travel expenses. Consider it done. In fact, from this moment on, SDM (@sdm__92) is my adoptive son."
Angelo (POW):
"Be wary, though—Oprah will attempt to claim him as her adoptive son as well. With her vast financial resources, she is capable of almost anything. It may sound amusing, but make no mistake, such things do happen in this industry."

How to set up a Dialysis and Diagnostics Center, without prior knowledge on Healthcare.

Introduction:
The healthcare industry offers numerous opportunities for entrepreneurs who are passionate about making a difference in people's lives. One such venture is setting up a Dialysis/Diagnostics Center, even if you aren't a healthcare professional. While it may seem daunting, with careful planning and the right team, you can successfully establish and run a healthcare facility that provides essential services to your community.
In 5 steps, we shall explore how to set up a Dialysis and Diagnostics Center, without prior knowledge on healthcare.
1. Research and Market Analysis:
Before diving into this endeavor, conduct thorough research on the healthcare needs of your community- understand the demand for dialysis and diagnostic services. Identify potential competitors and gaps in the market that your center can fill. This information will be crucial in creating a business plan and securing funding.
For this step, you can hire a professional business analyst for information that you can bank on.
2. Assemble a Skilled Team:
Your team build up is an important factor in the success of your venture.
While you may not be a healthcare professional, building a competent team is essential. Hire experienced doctors, nurses, and technicians who specialize in dialysis and diagnostics. Their expertise will be the backbone of your center's credibility and success.
3. Legal and Regulatory Compliance:
Healthcare businesses are heavily regulated, I'm sure you know why.
Consult with legal experts who specialize in healthcare to navigate the complex regulations, licenses, and permits required. Compliance with healthcare standards ensures patient safety and avoids legal issues.
4. Location and Facility:
In the world of business, positioning is everything and the healthcare business is not left out. To build a profitable healthcare venture, choose a suitable location for your center, considering accessibility for patients and proximity to referral sources like hospitals and clinics. Invest in state-of-the-art medical equipment, facilities, and infrastructure from trusted suppliers like Medpau International Limited to provide high-quality care.
5. Funding and Financial Planning:
Financing businesses like a Dialysis and diagnostic center should be done with tact. You have to get the numbers right.
To Secure adequate funding for your venture, explore various financing options, including bank loans, grants, and investors. Create a detailed financial plan that accounts for operational costs, equipment purchases, and staff salaries and ensure your revenue projections are realistic.
For this step, it's advisable to involve a Financial advisor to guide you towards making the right investment choices.
Conclusion:
Setting up a Dialysis/Diagnostics Center without a healthcare background can be challenging but absolutely feasible with the right approach. Surround yourself with experienced professionals, adhere to legal and regulatory requirements, and maintain a commitment to delivering high-quality healthcare services. By doing so, you can contribute to your community's health and well-being while building a successful healthcare business.

...which basically confirmed that a huge portion of all the scenes we've been waiting for are going to air in the FINAL EP, I'm 110% sure they're going to end the show on a cliffhanger, announce season 2 in Impact Arena and I'll be left feeling empty for around a year (if not more)...
I mean, most BLs take about 3-4 months to film. If I'm not mistaken, KP started filming around November and finished in March and began airing in April.
I don't think finding the time to film is the problem, if anything, it's organizing the casts' schedules and the locations (if I'm not mistaken, one of the locations, the Main Family's headquarters, was closed to the public because of Covid and that's why they were able to film so much there and that could inevitably change since the world is slowing crawling out of the pause Covid put us in) that could present a challenge since this is totally out of the directors' control .
The good thing about this cast, is that none of the actors are super famous (with the exception of, like, Jeff who is in a different company than BOC and Perth, who's a fan favorite, but his character died) therefore its not like they have obligations or commitments with other promotional stuff, sponsors and such and therefore scheduling them and organizing all the actors so that they're all available simultaneously to film isn't too much of an issue.
Then the matter of personal time off and whether the actors and/or the directors themselves have any projects or whatever, or they want to take some personal time off/a Vacay instead of throwing themselves back into filming, which seems more likely, to be honest, than anything I mentioned above.
After all, they're humans and they also deserve some rest especially after such a successful series.
First of all, Hi~~
Yeah, usually thai shows take that much to film. They film in queues (usually from Q1 till Q20something and if things don't go as planned they add Qs, Cutie Pie finished at Q30something if I'm not mistaken). I remember that while the first EPs of KinnPorsche were airing, they were shooting/reshooting some scenes (not really sure if they were shooting or reshooting, because their schedule did get pushed back and they had to add a bunch of Qs).
I totally agree on you with the schedule thing, I myself manage a 13-member group and doing the schedule is a HUGE responsibility and it's hard af.
As for locations, I don't really know how permissions work in Thailand, but if it's similar to how it works here, issuing a single permission to shoot on a certain location can take up to a few months, and the cost can be insane, depending on the amount of Qs they want to do and how many crew members will be present.
Now, for personal time, half of our boys took around 2 weeks off recently, I'm suspecting that the rest of the boys will take some time off before Impact Arena (if they haven't done so already because they keep moving around so fast and it's hard to keep up). I think that's totally reasonable, the boys should rest, and tbh BOC is doing pretty well on those kinds of stuff, I can see the boys are travellering and taking time off, AS THEY SHOULD.
For Jeff and Perth, although they are not in BOC, up until now they've been treated with nothing but respect and that's what they deserve. Perth's had a pretty hectic schedule since last year, and he's also doing streams and YouTube, I hope he rests a bit before Impact Arena. Jeff's been releasing new music every few months, ffs human! REST!
With the mention of Impact Arena, let's bring in the KP World Tour, July 24th and 25th are just the beginning, tours of this kind can take MONTHS to complete and considering how much they've been preparing and the amount of sponsors they have (and who those sponsors are) I don't think they'll kick off the tour and finish it in one big trip. What I have in mind is that they'll go by continent, for example, start with one part of Asia, rest for a bit, and then go to the next one. Until the tour is complete, I don't think production will be given a green light, and if it does, it's not going to go straight to filming.
As far as I know the writers of the books are involved in the script writing process for the sequel. A possible casting may be needed because we're definitely going to need new actors for any new characters that may appear in the sequel of the show. Newcomers bring the need for acting classes and workshops, workshops can take up to 2 months to complete. Also we don't know if P'Khom, P'Pepsi and P'Pond would be down to directing the sequel or if any of the crew members would be able to come back, which means that they may need to work on that as well.
I'm not going to talk about the possibility of BOC looking for new investors and sponsors, just because a show is popular, it doesn't mean everything goes smoothly like butter (no pun intended).
So yeah, according to my calculations, if we do get a sequel or a season 2, however you guys want to call it, the shortest amount of time for it to be ready to air is a year. Why? Because I don't think that BOC would throw away their hard work by rushing with a 2nd season that is nowhere near the quality of the 1st one.
Is it going to hurt waiting? Sure! Do I believe it's totally going to be worth it? HELL YEAH!
Anyway, I hope they come to Europe for the tour, I really want to meet them~
Spread the love~ 💕

Kat, I'm going to give you my honest opinion about this. I've changed my mind three times now between saying this or rather just simply rebloging to boost it, but in the end I thought it's better if you hear it.
When I saw this post on my dash I got really hyped up about it! It's your boy and you're obviously very passionate about this project and I'm sure it's gonna be very fun. Usually, that's what happens with me lately, I see something, I get excited about it, then it turns out I don't have the energy to engage with it once it releases and I feel sad about that. It's pretty much a me-issue and I know it. Depression sucks. I'm sure you're the last person who wants to hear this. But then I got to the bottom of your post and... I was overwhelmed by guilt. In advance. Because I know by default that I won't be able to give this the amount of feedback you're hoping for. I know that this is just one person speaking, and I know fairly well that there are other people out there who will do a better job than me supporting you, I don't want to act like everyone will share my reaction to this post.
I'm just very sad to hear that there is a chance of you quitting writing, depending on how this turns out. I want to give you my opinion about this, in an attempt to make you reconsider in the worst-case scenario where you're not satisfied with the engagement for this project.
To be blunt, there are tons of released routes out there. I can't bring myself to read them all. I haven't played the route of some of the characters I love, because I'm that burned out. Again, this is just me. I'm seeing others who are capable of keeping up with the tempo of their releasing, who manage two or more games at once. Every otome player is different, but for those who only have the energy or time to do their faves, it's gonna be very hard to commit to this! Also, I don't want to assume you haven't thought about this already, but just to remind, some people prefer to read it all in one go. You might not get an immediate response. Some will discover it two years later. You're placing a huge stake in something that's very volatile...
I don't know what you consider a successful project on here. I don't know how many notes you're hoping to see on these chapters or anything like that, but I'm begging you to do this for yourself first and foremost. When I saw the post I was happy for YOU before I wondered if I'm gonna read it or not. Because that's something that's important to you. I know that feedback is motivating, and I know you didn't want to sound threatening, but maybe... you did end up sounding threatening? I care about you, I'm your friend, even if i end up feeling guilty because of one of your messages about leaving feedback on your fics I'm still gonna read the thing, i know it's good writing and I'm gonna enjoy it anyway. But some people are gonna turn away when they're guilted into engaging with something.
I know you had a good time writing his route! Please focus on how it made you feel while writing it. You deserve the praise for completing such a huge project! I'm just saying that I will be incredibly sad if you let the outcome of it deprive you of your hobby.
That being said, I don't wanna be on the taglist you already added me to. I hope you can understand.
A YEAR IN THE MAKING
You know this BIG project I keep mentioning??
A good amount of you have guessed it, some of you know all about it because I've been bouncing ideas off of you to help me with the thought process.
SALAÌ IS GETTING HIS OWN ROUTE!!!!
Long story short.. it was supposed to be 8-10 chapters. It was going to be a speed run route. It's obvs not a real route it can be quick and not so indepth right? Right?
It's 20 chapters. With 3 side stories and an Episode 0.
There were going to be 4 cgs but... Art is pricey and well... honestly.. his route isn't even canon.
In Salaìs route, you, the mc, meet Salaì as he's painting in town. He's there looking for someone but you don't know who. But you get closer to him, going on little dates.. having no choice but to stay at his place for a night, helping him get his art shown in a gallery...and then it falls apart
I will be posting each chapter separately. There will be 3-4 days between each chapter. I will have a tag list. If you are tagged on this post you are already part of it. If you'd like to be part of it just comment saying so.
Minor details: so he has 3 side stories plus the episode 0...those will not be posted here. I've put so much work into this.. literally started August 25th last year...they will be available on Kofi as the chapters related to them are posted. They will only $1. You don't need these side stories for the main story just like in the game so please don't complain about me putting 4 of these behind a pay wall.
Info on the route itself: I will be staying this once I start posting it but through the story I will be calling him Salaì..but for a good part of it he goes by a different name. It shouldn't be confusing but he does have three names after all. Also I said his route isn't canon, meaning his route does not line up with his actual lore. In no way would Salai chose Mc over Leonardo, and I also don't put all of trauma of his in here bc its not really the focus, and like I said.. not even canon. BUT I AM WILLING TO ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS AT ANY GIVEN TIME. I also have @ask-salai where you can ask questions about it too if you would want HIM to answer and not me.
I REALLY REALLY REALLY HOPE YOU GUYS READ AND INTERACT WITH THIS.
Not trying to be threatening... But if this doesn't do well... I'm not sure if I'll continue writing. This is a years worth of work. Reblogs really do mean a lot to me. I want feedback. I want to know what you guys think.
I still need to proof read it all and doubt check some things but I wanted to get the word out about what I was doing.
