Archon Ranking
Charlotte:Aether! As a famous traveler with deep connections to other nations and their Archons, I have to ask, *pulls out pen and paper* who do you think the best Archon is among the ones you met?
Aether:ā¦*looks around* I donāt know how, but it feels like theyāre listening. I just know itās going to get back to them.
Venti:*behind a house* Shhh
Archons:*nod silently*
Aether:This question isnāt exactly easy, itās not impossible. The Raiden Shogun and Rex Lapis are out of the running.
Ei:(Thatās fairā¦)
Zhongli:*slouches*
Charlotte:Well one of them did kick off a civil war, but why think little of the deceased Lord of Geo? Is it because you didnāt get the chance to know him enough.
Aether:ā¦Yes. While I commend his diligence, I fear having such a strict and uncompromising approach to the concept of contracts lead to a few⦠rather unnecessary predicaments that couldāve been avoided by forming more open and new contracts with his people.
Zhongli:An interesting perspective. One that may or may not hold some merit. I wonāt outright dismiss it, but some things must be set in stone.
Furina:Now I donāt mean to criticize such an enlightened individual, but as someone who actually had a national incident set in stone, I donāt think your plan had to have one.
Zhongli:Hmmm
Aether:The others are sorta tricky. I canāt find fault in how Nahida chose to conduct herself. Centuries of isolation by her own people and yet she still helped throughout history. Perhaps it wouldāve been simpler for her to take a hands on approach and speak out against the injustices she felt, but sheās still a young and gentle god. I canāt blame her for feeling small.
Charlotte:Iāve read dozens or articles after Sumeruās liberation. I gotta say some brought me to tears! Though sheās far older than us, I must say I donāt think itās inappropriate to say asking such a feat is no different than expecting a child to stand up to an adult without ever being taught to do so. If anything, it makes it more amazing that she eventually did!
Aether:I agree. Iām very proud of her.
Nahida:*sniffles* Aw, I see. Suddenly Iām all warm inside.
Charlotte:Am I correct to say youāve met the god of Anemo?
Aether:ā¦.
Charlotte:Off the record.
Aether:Yes. Iāve met them several times. As for on the record, the Anemo Archon may not be present often, his presence is always felt down to the blades of grass. From the very start he made a place made for his people, and lead by his people. A hands off approach not only not only fits the god of freedom, but is beneficial for the common man. Plus, itās not like anyone feels abandoned. Thereās countless records of their god returning to aid in times of need.
Charlotte:Make you wonder if he had any hand in the Storm Terror crisis.
Aether:I wouldnāt put it past them. My glider never seemed to fail a rookie like me when I needed it most.
Venti:*smiles smugly*
Zhongli:You still drink too much.
Venti:Because I have the time. You do too. Some might say, Liyue is more like Mondstadt these days.
Ei:No one is saying that.
Venti:And yet I still find it comical how much a certain someone put into retiring, just to live among his people with a normal occupation.
Mavukia:Heā¦makes a point. To a degree. You both ended in the same spot surprisingly.
Zhongli:Sighā¦.
Aether: As for Furina and Mavuika⦠it feels wrong to praise one without the other. The Pyro Archon is a strong capable leader whoās very personable. Her plan was a bit more than crazy, but it had to be to face the abyss. Most importantly, she suffered alongside her people and sacrificed a lot in order to see her plan through. Things nobody should ever have to give up; like being an older sibling. She has my respect. Truly, no one fights alone with her around.
Mavukia:*smiles* If you ask me, he should share some of that praise with himself.
Aether:As for Furina, well, do I really have to tell you about her. To this day, people see her as a the Hydro Archon.
Charlotte:How could Fontainianās not? Even with the truth discovered, it doesnāt change sheās been prevalent in our history.
Aether:While I donāt think I can say her leadership skills are as astute as other Archons, I personally canāt bring myself to say she isnāt brilliant. Furina did her job to the letter and never compromised it once for the sake of her people despite every single day wearing down her soul until she was in literal tears. I honestly donāt know whatās more impressive. Mavukia has always moved forward without faltering. That takes immense strength. Furina though, she doesnāt have that kind of strength. In a lot of ways, she did break and hesitate, yet she walked forward all the same. Itās both amazing and terrifying. Human Archons sure are interesting.
Charlotte:Maybe itās our shared humanity that made them so strong in your eyes.
Aether:Maybe, but I think even archons in the traditional sense are more human than some give them credit. For instance, theyāre all nosy enough to eavesdrop behind a house.
Venti:Ha, bustedā¦
Furina walks out with a red face and eyes that tried to act serious but failed to do so thanks to their glossy gaze that struggled to hold back tears. She didnāt even know what to say and feared her voice might shake. Before she could try, Aether hugs her. She can only hug him back in frustration. It didnāt take long for Nahida to join. Meanwhile Mavukia and Ei walked out into view simply because there was no need to hide.
Aether:You guys are ridiculous.
Ei:True feelings are typically expressed when the subject isnāt around. I must admit, I wish you had said at least one positive thing.
Aether:No one can ever doubt that you care. Maybe you didnāt express it correctly, and very few people know your grief, but you are a good person. I mean that.
Ei:I appreciate your understanding. Perhaps in the future, many more will share a similar idea.
Charlotte:ā¦*squints* Are the Anemo and Geo archon behind the house too?
Aether:Off the record?
Charlotte:*tosses pen and paper* I can keep a secret! Iāll make a contact if I have to! I just gotta know~
Venti:..*peeks head out* Hello!
Charlotte:Iāve seen you!!! Youāre the drunk bard everyone likes even though he doesnāt pay his tab!
Venti:I pay my tab! It just keeps coming back.
Charlotte:*bounces with anticipation* Is the Lord of Geo with you? Hehehe~
Zhongli:ā¦*sticks arm out*
Charlotte:DIRECTOR HU TAOāS FUNERAL CONSULTANT!?
Zhongli:Wha- she knew by my sleeve!?
Aether:I am going to be honest, wearing all brown and having a job that uses your encyclopedic knowledge of history is a conspicuous disguise.
Venti:I told ya, you might as well of chose to be a miner. Thereās dozens of those; much like thereās countless bards! So what if I sing an old song!? Nobody would bat an eye if you were good at digging.
Zhongli:Sighā¦

Hello! May I request a Yandere Romantic Concept for Princess Cadence from My Little Pony please?
I struggle making her dark so I hope I do better than I did with her Alphabet on this. She's not married to Shining Armor in this.
Yandere! Princess Cadance Concept
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Manipulation, Stalking, Overprotective behavior, Clingy behavior, Imprisonment, Isolation, Delusional behavior, Toxic relationship, Kidnapping, Mental deterioration, Love spell, Forced marriage, Forced relationship.
Cadance is often associated with love when we see her.
Her introductory episode was her wedding, of course.
She's even considered a guardian of the Crystal Heart.
Safe to say she's a princess who seems to know a thing or two when it comes to love.
So what if we do something... darker?
What if Cadance meets somepony who invokes a... stronger feeling within her?
It's... strange for her, at first.
When she first sees you, the alicorn pauses.
It's like her heart nearly stops when she comes across you.
She doesn't get it... what makes you so special to her?
This begins her obsession, a darkness creeping ever so slowly into her heart.
Cadance could stalk you, in fact her intrigue makes her follow you a bit.
Although the princess is quick to catch herself and decide that she doesn't need to do something so creepy.
Instead, Cadance would make it a goal to become close to her new obsession.
Your bond starts relatively normal.
In fact, isn't it an honor to speak with a princess?
Cadance is similar to the other princesses (Celestia and Luna primarily) in the sense of being condescending and manipulative.
She's subtle with her obsession and it's hard for ponies to believe your concerns when she's so nice.
The Princess of Love treating her beloved poorly...?
Unheard of.
What makes her different than the other princesses is probably her obsession with not only you... but the concept of love.
She feels that this is normal, that she needs her partner.
She's dreamed of getting married since she was a filly.
So while Celestia may like the power dynamic, or Luna just hates being alone, Cadance wants to create a family in some way and fixates on the thought of getting married.
Her obsession really is love at first sight.
In her eyes and heart, that is.
Cadance acts like her heart or mind is being influenced by a darker force.
The idea of her love not reciprocating doesn't come to mind for her.
As her obsession goes on she gets so caught up in the idea of you two being meant to be.
Out of all the princesses, Cadance is the pony who most believes in soulmates.
When she locks eyes with you, her mind decides you're meant to be.
Her obsessive behavior is definitely delusional, fully believing fate will guide you together no matter what.
If it doesn't...?
Well... she just has to rush a few things, doesn't she?
I can see Cadance slowly becoming more and more unhinged as her obsession goes on.
At this point, who cares if she's being creepy?
She's allowed to be... you're soulmates, after all...!
She isn't willing to give up that thought.
She keeps track of your every move, perhaps using magic to monitor you.
Eventually she'll snap like most yanderes do.
Especially if she feels another pony is getting closer than they should be.
Imagine if one day when you go to bed at night... you wake up in a bed not your own.
No, instead of being home, you're in a crystal cage.
Before you can scream, a figure shifts in the shadows.
You look up to see Cadance standing over you, a grin on her face and her eyes bloodshot.
"Finally, love...! I was really getting impatient."
This doesn't look like Cadance anymore.
The princess you once knew and adored now has twitching eyes as though she hasn't been sleeping.
Before she kidnaps you, Cadance had been in her castle.
You had met her only a few times, but to her it felt like you were closer.
You just assumed the friendly princess was busy.
Which was partially true.
Busy preparing for you.
Cadance becomes a crazed husk of the princess you once knew.
She originally wanted to take things slow with her obsession... but she doesn't think she can wait anymore.
Against your will you'd be prepared for a wedding with an alicorn you barely know.
Although, fight too much and Cadance may be forced to act.
Cadance doesn't care how she gets her little soulmate.
Be you stuck in a cage, a love spell, or breaking your mind in...
She'll have you in the end.
She has enough lucidity to apologize when putting a love spell on you before you get to the vows.
After that...? Well... you'll get married.
She wants it to be perfect.
While your mind is in a haze, she's preparing crystal decorations that sparkle in the light.
Your fate was sealed long before you even reached the altar.
No pony questions her judgment, be that out of respect or fear is unknown.
She thinks you look so lovely in your wedding attire.
She just knows you two will be a perfect family, especially since you're not fighting anymore.
Cadance is a yandere deep in her delusional fantasies of love... so deep in fact...
She won't realize she's hurting you by forcing you into a role you have no clue about.
"We're soulmates...! I just know you'll see things my way eventually, love...!"

Rewriting Veilguard Part 9 - The Dumat
Rewriting Veilguard Part 8 - The Inquisition
Disclaimer: I don't hate the game, I actually think it's quite great given the development hell Bioware went through in those 10 years. This is more of a hypothetical universe where there was less of that behind the scenes drama. Just a fun writing exercise.
Exploring the Dumat Submarine
Last time we decided to use the original concept of the Dumat submarine as our hub for the game, so I thought to dedicate this next entry to the ship alone, as we just entered a little breather phase between main missions. We just finished the prologue, got our title card, were recruited into the Northern arm of the shadow Inquisition, and are about to embark on our quest to stop the Dread Wolf. But before we can do that, we must acquaint ourselves with our base a little, so we shall do just that!
We shall now take a look at what immediately happens once the title card fades away, the Dumat as a ship, its contents, the NPCs you can meet there, and the upgrades you can perform on it. Letās get right into it!
The Inquisitor Departs
Once the title card fades, we have another cutscene that shows the Dumat quietly floating beneath the moonlit waters.
Rook and Varric meet the Inquisitor and Charter at the captainās cabin. Lavellan informs us that she and her Spymaster must depart the ship now, for their presence is bound to eventually draw some unwanted attention from the enemy, especially in the Inquisitorās case. We notice that she seems a bit hesitant when speaking about the Dread Wolf.
NOTE: In this World State, the Inquisitor romanced Solas and swore to redeem him.
We do not get to question that yet. Charter lets us know that Harding has her contact details if we ever need to reach her, whereas the Inquisitor remains silent about her future whereabouts. She just says that she will monitor the proceedings of the war between Tevinter and the Antaam and use her resources to help however she can, as well as perhaps draw the attention of FenāHarelās agents to distract the Dread Wolf from us. But sheās confident we will meet again, and sooner than we think. Leaving the operation to Varric, the two bid each other farewell.
Isabela enters and informs them that their transport is ready. The Inquisitor and Charter depart, leaving us in charge of the Dumat.
Varric tells us to get accustomed to the ship before doing anything else; it truly is a masterwork of magic and technology blending into one. When weāre ready, we must make to the meeting chamber and discuss our first moves. He leaves us to it.
Now we get to control Rook again, so letāsā¦take a little tour, shall we?
Exploring the Dumat
The Dumat is a submarine in every sense of its functions, that much is true. But we must not forget that this is still a fantasy game, so the goal isnāt to make it look like a submarine as we know one from our time. Weāre going to have some fun.
It should be mentioned that the Dumat isnāt made from metal, but from the same dark rock as most buildings in Minrathous. But thatās only one part of it. The Dumat may have been built in Tevinter, with Tevene materials, but she was built by dwarves and mages alike. Enchantments and runes are carved into the walls in aesthetically pleasing ways, the entire construction lives and breathes magic, just like Minrathous.
When we move through the submarine, it looks like weāre walking through an underwater mansion. There are arcane lights everywhere, floating orbs, and so much more. The Dumat is a submarine, yes, but it is very much integrated into the setting. And now, we get to take a look.
The Captainās Cabin
The captainās cabin is Isabelaās place, where she resides and plans. It is filled with trophies from her past exploits, as well as one or two memos from her time in Kirkwall. Isabela herself frequents either the cabin or the bridge mostly, but it is to note that NPCs can and will change rooms occasionally.
We can talk to Isabela here and ask her about her life and past adventures, even about that business with the Tome of Koslun if we pry hard enough.
Isabela is also the person we see about upgrading the Dumat, but we shall return to this topic later.
The Bridge
The bridge is located not very far away from the captainās cabin and is one of the central locations on the Dumat. It is located above the majority of the ship, in a room with magically protected glass, allowing us to see what awaits us ahead. Isabela will occasionally be found here, steering the ship where it needs to go.
Rookās Chamber
Rookās chamber is a very comfortable and relaxing place. And Iām actually going to go out on a whim and say that it looks pretty much like the one we see at the Lighthouse in Veilguard, just a bit larger and containing an actual bed. But I love this whole aquarium window idea.
Hereās where we can find missives addressed directly to us. Personal stuff, mementoes, things like that. Here, we can also find the appearance-changing mirror that will allow us to enter the character creator once again.
The Common Area
The common area is this big lounging area, positioned in front of this transparent glass wall that lets us look into the ocean. A magically-powered arcane fire roars in a nearby fireplace. There are tables, couches, and books aplenty. Hereās where we shall be having some more relaxing times later. Many characters will often converge here for banter-related purposes.
The Armoury
The armoury is pretty self-explanatory. Hereās where we can purchase weapons and armour, as well as upgrade them! It is located somewhere in the back of the Dumat, where the loud sounds wonāt disturb anyone.
And hereās where weāll meet two more members of our crew. As Rook enters, a man immediately jumps at her and begins taking her measurements, exclaiming that yes, finally, finally, he can begin crafting new masterpieces! Another, much calmer man, pulls him aside and says āWade, not this again. Take a deep breath.ā
Yes, weāre bringing back Wade and Herren, the iconic duo from Origins. They did have a small war table quest in DAI, but here they are back in the flesh. Rook and her team need a true master craftsman to equip them, so a master we shall receive, as well as his very much needed stop button called Herren.
Wade immediately insists upon crafting the most amazing things ever, to which Herren quickly calms him down, apologising profusely to us. While Herren sells us normal stuff, Wade can do the special items for us. Just like in DAO, weāre gonna need pretty exquisite materials.
The Room of Runes
The room of runes is a pretty mysterious place aboard the Dumat. Itās pretty much the anchor for all runic activity that protects and powers the ship. Yes, there are dwarven runes all over the place, but this is the heart of it all. Each rune that can be found on the Dumat has its larger replica here. Powerful enchantments everywhere. It actually looks rather beautiful, as though we stepped into a glittering underground cave filled with various little stars.
As soon as we enter the room, we see a dwarven man with short blonde hair and piercing, striking blue eyes. When we greet him, he only has one word for us: āEnchantment!ā
Another dwarf joins us, older, with greying dark hair, who introduces himself as Bodahn Feddic, and the young man next to him is his dear boy Sandal. āSay hello, Sandal!ā āHello!ā
Yes, there is the other iconic duo form DAO that Iām bringing back here, becauseā¦why not? If this is the last entry in the saga, we may as well start tying up all lose ends.
The Feddics are back, oh yes! They are much older, true, but they are still the same people. Bodahn tells us that Varric brought them here from Kirkwall to, once again, do some good. Bodahn wanted to retire, but if his boy is meant for great things, he wonāt be far behind to support him. I also need Sandal for something later in the story, but weāll talk about that another time.
As you guessed, this is the place we go to for rune crafting, whenever we need enchantments. Sandal is going to be very happy to provide some. Bodahn, as always, is a merchant from whom we can buy our everyday stuff. He can also be found in the common area for the sake of ease.
The Garden
This is Hardingās place, a beautiful garden area located in the more central area of the Dumat. Originally intended as a place of quiet meditation, Harding found a better use for it by repurposing it into an underground garden. A magical light causes the plants here to grow.
This is the first time we can have a proper, long conversation with Harding, where we learn about her relationship to Varric and the Inquisition as a whole, and how she came to serve in the first place.
We also get some info regarding her and Varricās hunt for Solas, as well as her opinion on him. She tells us that, yes, as a Dalish, we may see Solas as this purely evil trickster god, but he was something else at Skyhold. As a very devout Dalish, we quietly dismiss this as FenāHarel tricking everyone into believing that he is more than irredeemably evil.
The Meeting Chamber
This is basically Dreadwolfās version of the war room. Hereās where all the mission briefings happen. We can also often find reports from across all Thedas. Who knows, we might even have our own version of war table missions later.
This is one of the areas Varric often occupies, like in this case. We can ask him about how his story began, even though we know the official, famous version of it. If we like, we can listen to some brief recaps of the past few games through his point of view and how it seems like he just canāt get out of this shit.
We can also inquire as to whatās happening in Kirkwall right now. Varric, who is still the Viscount, says that he left Aveline in charge while heās on this job. It is still the shithole it was years ago, but it is improving, at least he hopes so.
Of course, there are more rooms on the Dumat, but we shall unlock them as we move on through the story and add to her expanding crew. So I shall simply add on to them as we go along.
Upgrades
Letās touch on the topic of upgrades now. I think the Dumat is an excellent opportunity to bring back a proper system to upgrade your base. Vigilās Keep had one, Skyhold hadā¦a very lite version of one, the Normandy had a pretty cool one in ME2. If anything, I believe we should be inspired by the Normandy when it comes to this.
There are story-relevant upgrades, as well as flavour and aesthetics. And all of them can be purchased from Isabela. The upgrades we have available to us at the beginning of the game are as follows:
Cloaking Runes: Give the Dumat a way to blend into the environment, rendering her effectively invisible seamlessly.
Dragonās Breath: Provide the front of the ship with a powerful runic beam that she can fire from her maw.
Greater Movement: Provide more freedom of movement to the ship, causing her to be more fluid and less static.
Restoration Pool: Add a green-shimmering pool to Rookās chamber, allowing her to reskin and respec.
Now comes one of the effects of disbanding the Inquisition: none of the upgrades have been commissioned and applied yet. Isabela explains that the Inquisition doesnāt have as many resources as it once did, and what it did have was mostly used to construct the Dumat.
Had we kept the Inquisition the big official organisation, we would be having more funds now, and those starter upgrades, as well as some decorations, would have already been purchased. But as it stands now, weāre going to have to provide the cash.
Mission Briefing
When weāre done exploring the currently accessible areas of the Dumat, Rook, Varric, and Harding all gather in the meeting chamber, where Varric will introduce us to the first two missions we can choose from:
The Dread Wolf is one of the most elusive beings in Thedas right now. As such, we need someone who is an expert in finding even the most cunningly evasive people. That would be Neve Gallus, a detective operating from Minrathous. From what we know, sheās currently looking into those blood collars that are meant to be used in the war against the Qunari. If we help her out, she can be persuaded to join us.
The Dread Wolf is an ancient elf, a god even. As such, it takes someone with great knowledge of the ancient elven world to figure out how exactly he plans to tear down the Veil. Varric would have usually suggested Merrill, butā¦we know how that worked out. As a Veil Jumper ourselves, we will immediately suggest Bellara Lutare, who has a track record of investigating the most ancient and dangerous artefacts found in Arlathan Forest. Varric is pleased, for he would have suggested her himself.
We now have a choice between us. Do we travel to Minrathous and assist Neve in her blood collar case? Or do we return to Arlathan Forest and seek out Bellara? One way or another, we need both of them.
And there you have it! A bit of a shorter entry this time around, but I really just wanted to give a bit of an overview as to what the Dumat is going to be like. There will be more, of course. Next time we shall see whether we help Neve or Bellara first, so get ready for some exciting location returns/introductions. Stay tuned!

been looking for a way to describe different ways people experience their gender and i think i found a way of using the four elements as an analogy for a few ways of experiencing gender. applies to both trans and cis people.
earth - you are solid and certain in your identity. you have a label and stick to it, confident that this is what you are. if you're trans, perhaps you've found that the gender you've transitioned to fits you like a glove and frequently experience gender euphoria. if you're cis, perhaps you feel so solidly aman or so solidly a woman that if you'd been born the other way around, you would have eventually transitioned. you have little to no doubts or fluidity in your gender.
fire - your identity moves in a forward progression, destroying what you were before and never looking back. if you're trans, perhaps you work to erase all trace of who you were before you realized your true gender, and carry a deep disdain for your deadname and other signifiers of the assigned gender you've left behind or are itching to leave behind. if you're cis, perhaps you carry the mindset "boy is a different gender than man and girl is a different gender than woman", and find your experience changing as you grow even in small ways- you very much understand why some people are trans even if you yourself aren't. you live in the now and beyond, never the past. you may change your identity, but you never go back to one you've left behind.
water - you're ever-changing and rather fluid in your gender, even if you're not literally genderfluid (though you very well may be). you go with whatever label fits best in the now, and accept that it may change again in the future. if you're trans, perhaps you're genderfluid, have flip-flopped between considering yourself trans and cis, or change labels with some regularity as something else comes to fit you better than what you had before. while earth and fire types hold an "i was always the gender i am now" mindset, you see it more as "i used to be x, and now i'm y". if you're cis, perhaps you've questioned your gender or identified as trans for a time before deciding you're cis after all- and you reserve the right to change your mind again in the future if you need to. you are very flexible and open to change in your gender.
air - your grasp on gender is vague and nebulous, even confusing you as a concept. if you are trans, perhaps you forgo labeling your gender entirely, or you have no gender at all. if you are cis, perhaps you have difficulty understanding why people are trans, even if you're accepting- your attachment to your gender is weak enough that you would probably identify with whatever you were assigned at birth, not having a preference either way. your concept of gender as a whole is hazy.
obviously i'm not going to capture the entirety of gender experiences in my little tumblr post. if you experience gender in a way not described here, feel free to share yours! i just thought this would be fun :)
i'm a water trans :)

Arcana headcannon shit
(Because thatās what this account is gonna be ong)
~~ Headcannons for: the m6 with a gender-fluid partner
š®Asraš®
- understands this part of you better than anyone
- their own gender is pretty fluid, so they get it
- probably feel when youāre leaning one way through heart connection, so may adjust pronouns to that if you want
- absolutely chaotic with pet names to affirm you
- āyes, pumpkin bread?ā
- āof course, my etherealā
- absolutely chaotic with pet names
- ālong time, no see, my eldritch tomeā
- ādid you eat today, my horrifyingly phantasmal amalgamation?ā
- will help you with illusion magic to change how you wish to present, based on how youāre feeling
āļøNadiaāļø
- has the most fun with the challenge of dressing you based on how youāre feeling
- āyouād look most dashingly beautiful in a suit at the next ball- ah, or, I imagine we could send for a dress that masculinizes you quite nicely. Would you like that, dear?ā
- loves the confusion on peoplesā faces when she introduces you as her wife to someone who knew you as her husband, or vice versa
- would find a nice neutral title for you to take as the spouse of the countess, perhaps settling on simply court mage if youād like to take it on.
- would definitely invent something to help you present how you wish to in the moment- something like a binder that turns into a corset with the pull of a ribbon, or a suit that can turn into a dress with a simple twirl
- if you have a pronoun preference for a day, she will do her best to ensure the whole palace (and then some) know of it to ensure utmost comfort, even if you donāt mind someone using a pronoun that you might not use that day (youād need to assure her that it is not necessary to make such widespread news)
š”ļøJulianš”ļø
- calls you his bisexual dream
- you mean he gets to woo a beautiful maiden AND fall into the arms of a dashing savior AND theyāre the same person AND theyāre his love (you)????
- oh gods he is in heaven
- cannot figure out what to call you for the life of him. He already struggled with relationship titles, but now thereās another layer
- āAha! Iād love for you to meet my, uhm⦠my (y/n).ā
- āHas anyone seen my.. uh.. companion?ā
- eventually gets the hang of it, leaning into the poetic aspect such a challenge provides
- āah! Thereās my divine soulmate. Iāve missed you, dear.ā
- finds out heās a little fluid with his gender with your help (drag. He does drag. He loves it.)
šæMurielšæ
- Words are hard.
- same problem as Julian, but since heās shyer about labeling himself publicly (not shy about being your lover, of course, heās just not the type to scream his affections to the whole world) he tends to just refer to you by your name
- stutters when someone asks what your relationship with him is
- āTheyāre my⦠uh.. weāre.. uhm.. l-lovers.ā
- since societal expectations for gender donāt mean shit to him, he thinks nothing of when you explain it to him.
-literally does not understand why this would be a tough concept to anyone
- doesnāt understand why your switching gender changes things about your day (like how you dress), but supports you nonetheless.
- tries his best to affirm you on the topic
- āyour hair looks.. uh.. man-ish like that. Itās⦠nice..ā
šPortiaš
- very fluid in her gender presentation !
- loves watching people try and figure out if youāre a wlw, mlm; or straight couple when youāre out together
- way too cheesy and sweet about it
- āwell, youāre my everything, so of course you have to be every gender too.ā
- makes jokes (never at your expense) and thinks sheās funny (she is and isnāt)
- ādo you think if we put you in a block of ice youād become a gender solid?ā
- ā I saw the prettiest man, the handsomest woman, and a non-binary delight the other day- oh, look, thereās (MC) now!ā

Hi!! If the Papyri are knights what are the Sanses? Also you should totally make an AU of this, you beautiful brain
You have no idea, none of you have any idea how absolutely insane I went about this goofy little one-off AU concept
...Some of you have an idea. And some of you maybe know me well enough to have just guessed I would go off the rails the way I have lol
Anyway, this is the first, but absolutely not the last of The Court AU:
Sans (Undertale): The court jester, in possession of a quick wit and a cutting sense of humor and with no desire to let either go to waste. Heās much beloved at court and prides himself on his ability to make even the stuffiest of courtiers chuckle with his jokes and pranksāand his jesterās privilege makes him nigh untouchable to those who somehow arenāt amused by him. Itās a good lifeā¦
Papyrus (Undertale): A proud knight of the kingdom and a member of the Royal Guard! Erā¦wellā¦eventually, he will be. The Captain wonāt make him a full member of the Guard until heās proven his valor through a series of knightly questsā¦but she wonāt tell him what the quests are, so he travels the kingdom as a knight-errant, helping those in need and solving problems that may or may not have needed solving! Youāre welcome, good citizens!
Sky (Underswap Sans): A squire, or knight-in-training, attendant to the Captain of the Guard until he properly earns his own knighthood. ā¦Frankly, heās already capable and qualified to be a knight now, but heās aware that the Captain has some reservations regarding his health and is hesitating to just give him the job because of it. He fully intends to prove himself to her in the line of active duty, and someday be recognized as a fully-fledged knight of the realm.
Paps (Underswap Papyrus): The court archivist, most at home amidst shelves of tomes and records and far away from the social obligations of the court itself. He tracks and preserves all kind of documents, from agricultural reports to genealogies to romantic poetry, and is on call to locate specific texts for any nobles or otherwise literate folks seeking to reference them. It gets a bit musty sometimes but he wouldnāt trade it for anything.
Jasper (Underfell Sans): A mercenary, traveling the kingdom in search of people to sell his sword to for a bit of coināand then traveling in search of satisfying ways to spend that coin. He does occasionally venture outside the kingdom for both of these things, but he has quite a few connections to well-paying opportunities within the borders, so as much as he avoids putting down roots, he tends not to stray too far from āhome.ā
Pyre (Underfell Papyrus): A knight in the Royal Guard, touted as a black knight for the scorched and stained armor he wearsāa marker of the many deadly, heroic feats heās conquered. No quest is too dangerous, no enemy too great for him to overcome, and he bravely takes on what lesser knights fear to risk. Heās quite accomplished dealing with dragons, and wildfires, and even mages, who always seem to cast fireballs andā¦well, perhaps thatās the reason his armor is so blackenedā¦
Mal (Swapfell Sans): Personal guard to the Empress herself, nominally part of the Royal Guard as well but far from the front-lines of battle as his duty to her highnessā safety comes first and foremost. Heās involved in a lot of the structuring and scheduling of patrols for the lower ranking guardsmen, and his opinion is often sought in matters of state and military, but his primary concern is accompanying the Empress wherever she goes, or standing post just outside the door. Only on rare occasions does anyone else fill his role, and thatās just the way he likes it.
Rus (Swapfell Papyrus): Heās a nobleman who used his wealth and free time to pursue a passion in painting. His passion paid off in the form of a bit of notoriety for his work and several offers of patronage from other nobility seeking portraits and frescoes and the like done in his hand. ā¦Or as he sees it, rich people paying him to do what he loves instead of some sort of actual job. As long as he can comfortably afford his paints, heās happy.
Slate (Horrortale Sans): Heās a stableman at the queenās castle, looking after the horses and hunting dogs kept there. He isnāt as quick as he used to be, and his memory hasnāt been the same since his head injury, but he was graciously employed elsewhere rather than dismissed and itāsā¦fine. Well enough, at least. Itās dirty and often thankless work, but he is fond of the animals, and much prefers their company to anyone else.
Papy (Horrortale Papyrus): Heās a medic in service to the knights of the Royal Guard. He actually used to be among their numberā¦sort ofā¦but there were some changes, in his life, and his eye-sight isnāt really what it used to be anyway, and⦠Well! He spent some time learning from the court physician and got very interested in ways to treat illness and injury. Heās not as skilled and knowledgeable as a full-fledged healer but heās happily on hand for minor training accidents and sicknesses or injuries in those coming back from patrols. He loves to be able to help!
Ash (Undergloom Sans): A musician who plays his trusty horn for the court during all the feasts and festivals. Heās only one player of many but enough of a talent to be selected for the job and pleased that his music should entertain the king and queen and all their noble guests. Itās not the most glorious of positions but heās happy enough doing it and lives well for his station.
Yrus (Undergloom Papyrus): Head cook in the castle kitchens, a station he worked up to from the bottom as a lowly kitchen boy. He has a lot of experience making meals for the royal couple and for all the nobles that regularly attend court gatherings and he knows how to give the people what they want. There are several other cooks and kitchen attendants that work with him but itās his job to make decisions and keep everything running smoothly, which keeps him busy but happily so.
Brick (Horrorfell Sans): He sticks exclusively to the royal court these days, not as a hired sword but as a wealthy and rakish duke of the kingdom. His brother gave him the title and itād be stupid not to take advantage of the perksāthough he does have to earn them. Heās less a hired sword now and more a hired axe, performing the duty of the royal executioner whenever heās called upon to do so. No need to wear a hood, everyone knows who he is and what he does to enemies of the crown.
King (Horrorfell Papyrus): The king of the castle, in a very literal sense. Some may call him a usurper or a traitor to the crown to have seized the throne for himself without proper claim⦠and for those people he arranges a meeting between their necks and his brotherās blade. He seized the throne because heās loyal to the crown and the queen he deposed was wearing it quite poorly. If he could, he wouldāve stepped down by now and given way to the true queen, but the people have been through enough upheavalāso he will remain as their king, as long as is necessary.
Merc (Horrorswap Sans): A cursed king who lives an austere, lonely life in a desolate castle by the sea. He fled from his true realm in disgrace and now awaits an end to his curse or his shameāwhichever comes firstāin the ruins of a fallen kingdom as degraded as he is. He doesnāt expect to be found, or saved from the curse that his own choices wrought upon him, and just tries to bear his fate with the grace expected of him.
Ell (Horrorswap Papyrus): Prince-errant of his kingdom, meant to be ruling his people but instead gallivanting off across the countryside in search of his missing brother. He wants to find him and know heās well about as much as he doesnāt want to go back and be the ruler of a kingdom, for which he was never properly trained and is wholly unprepared! Maybe in his search and his hardships, he can find the strength and maturity to do what the kingdom needs him to doā¦but heās not there yet, and finding his brother is his priority.
Pitch (Horrorswapfell Sans): Every knight in the Royal Guard is hand-picked and trained by him. He held a high office among the guardsmen once, but a severe injury put him out of commission and without his sight, he was no longer fighting fit, as they say. Still, his strength and his skill didnāt abandon him and while he could be a liability on the battlefield, heās nothing less than a powerful asset when it comes to training the knights up to his own exacting standards. Only the best make it through his gauntlet.
Nemo (Horrorswapfell Papyrus): He walks the wall of the castle at night, standing guard for any threats to the kingdom that might otherwise go unseen. He takes his duty very seriously and refuses to let any night pass without a watchman on duty, even in foul weather or nights of great feasts and festivals. His vigilance has protected the kingdom from many a threat and he feels certain that his job is of much higher importance than any frivolous pastimes he absorbed himself in before.
Sunny (Gastertale Sans): A courtier ofā¦mysterious origin. Heās often at court, making conversation and telling colorful stories to anyone whose ear he can snatchāand he manages to snatch quite a fewābut no one can manage to figure out quite where he came from or what he ought to be doing. Mostly, he entertains himself and others with various leisurely pursuits, games, hunts, dances, songs, and as such heās a well-liked person at courtā¦wherever he came from.
Aster (Gastertale Papyrus): Another man of mystery who appeared at court on the heels of his brother, though far less flamboyantly. Heās obviously a learned man, well-educated and well-spoken, and though he wasnāt as warmly embraced by the courtiers at large, he was eventually welcomed into the kingās confidence as a royal advisor. The backing of the king being what it is, heās accepted and respected as probably some sort of nobleman, regardless of his unclear origin, and continues to advise the king on matters of state.
Spectr (Transcendtale Sans): A wanderer, uprooted from his life and former kingdom and left to walk the land in search of meaning. Some say his kingdom was destroyed but for a small handful of survivors. Some say he turned to dark magic and sold his soul for the chance. to take revenge on the one who desolated his home. Some say heās ageless, bones turned to cold iron and chest empty of breath to contain the power he now holds. ā¦Theyāre all right. But his quest is long over, and all thatās left to do now is wander.
PapAIrus (Transcendtale Papyrus): Heās a proud knight of the kingdom! He may not have been in the Royal Guard when he was tragically cut down before his time, but he did come back from death as a ghostly semblance of himself at the same time everyone else didāand when your Captain is no longer worried that you might get yourself killed in battle because you already did, promotions are in order! So, he now serves his phantom kingdom as a phantom knight, valiantly and eagerly, but of course, taking time every now and then to visit his (mostly) living family member, to keep him from brooding too hard.
Xanth (Ascendswap Sans): Itāsā¦slightly unclear what he does. Heās seemed strange for a time, a bit touched, but the queen seems to hold him in high esteem and never fails to consult him (among others) before any major decisions are made. Sometimes heāll appear in unusual places with cryptic messages, or look into peoplesā eyes and divine their intentions (should they be ill ones), and for all this, though he holds no specific title, heās at least informally called the court mystic. There are rumors that his strangeness and that of those closest to him is because he made contact and some sort of bargain with the faefolkā¦but those are surely just rumors.
Piper (Ascendswap Papyrus): The royal falconer, primary trainer, keeper, and handler of all the hawks and falcons owned by the queen. It wasnāt a job he was born into, but one he sought out of the blue one day, and he earned his way by demonstrating a remarkable affinity for the birds even prior to any training. By now heās a figure of great respect for the command he has over the flighted beasts, and he happily demonstrates it during the queenās feasts and kingās hunts.
Carmine (Underfell Fruition Sans): Heās earned his way at court with talent, performing dazzling displays of bullets and other magic for nobles and royals alike. Heās a standout from other such entertainers in that his well of magic never seems to run dry and he can keep showing off his juggling and his light shows and his dancing bullets from sun-up to sun-down without ever tiring. He doesnāt talk much about his life before coming to court, but heās happy now so itās just as well.
Tank (Underfell Fruition Papyrus): He was trained from a very young age to be a soldier, a paladin meant to fight in a holy war and raised to believe his greatest purpose was to die on the battlefield and bring glory to the cause. That allā¦never happened. He was freed from the grip of the zealots and reunited with the brother he hadnāt seen in ages, but then left at odds for what to do nowāa warrior with no war to fight. Eventually he becomes apprenticed to a carpenter in town in the hopes of learning a trade to live on, andā¦heās starting to be content.
Vi (Swapfell Fruition Sans): Spymaster to the crown, head of a small network of covert informants, assassins, thieves and the rest of their ilk. It was a career heā¦inheritedā¦but also one he carried out diligently, carefully, and above all, secretly. At least, until his brother married and he left to join him in his new kingdom, where he serves much the same function at courtāwith the added responsibility of wrangling and occasionally nominally filling in for the crown prince. All according to plan.
Hunter (Swapfell Fruition Papyrus): He was in the same family business as his brother, but when he caught the eye of a visiting monarch and won an invitation to their kingdom, to marry, well⦠how could he refuse? And when, after an unsuspicious amount of time, his spouse is found dead under mysteriousābut not too mysteriousācircumstances, and no one from the proper line of succession seems to be coming to take their place⦠He really has no choice but to go from the prince consort to the crown prince, for the sake of his late spouseās people. Heās far from a proper or responsible prince, and certainly has some kind of reputation, but heās pleased enough with how everythingās going.
Kohl (Descendtale Sans): He minds the royal dungeons. Itās not what he started out doing, but somewhere along the way he lost the humor for anything else, and itās as good a job as any. Not too many strangers make it into the kingdom these days, but plenty have foul intentions and it is something he takes some pride in, keeping watch over those ill-meaning outsiders and making sure they stay put, where they belong. Heās not the kindest of dungeon-keepers, but quite frankly, since when was ākindnessā part of that job description?
Bram (Descendtale Papyrus): His brother keeps the dungeon and he keeps the grounds. While a groundskeeper isnāt anything close to what he thought heād want to be, a lot has happenedāto him personally and to the kingdom as a wholeāand well, heās providing a very valuable service with his work, humble though it may be. Anyone with skin would have a horrid time pruning back all the wicked, cursed thorns that keep trying to consume the realm, and unchecked, they could probably run wild in less than a fortnight, where would they all be if he let that happen?

what are your thoughts on Amy Rose throughout the franchises history and how a possible year of Amy in 2027 could or should, revitalize her as a character.
Amy Rose was my absolute favorite character (besides Sonic ofc) and I would unironically roleplay as her chasing my friends around in groups of 3 ie. Sonic Heroes in Elementary school haha
This is going to be long~~~
She was my favorite pink powerhouse that my little child brain latched onto like a lifeline. She actually fell right in line with other characters I loved around the same time and would eventually know, both in presentation and personality:
Perhaps this was of its time but there was something very appealing of a cute girly character having a strong personality to me, and was prevalent in a lot of Japanese media at the time. Of course, it wasnt apparent that Amy was a character that filled the "is girl" role because I was introduced to her alongside other characters like Rouge and Cream. The ratio was still abysmal but thats a far concept for someone still in single digits age. Amy's attire, outside of her original classic look had a very 60s Go-Go boots in a halter sunskirt look, along with gold bangles that are a bit reminiscent of Nana's eclectic styling- it was very unapologetic in the space it takes up and leaned into a streamlined coloring that could fit with Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles well. She definitely fit in as a part of the group visually. She, of course, gets lambasted for being so over the top in love with Sonic, making it her main motivation in a lot of the games but I don't think it really needed to be that complex. Looking at Sonic, his whole motivation is literally going where the wind takes him and winds up helping people along the way. They utilized Amy the same way, having being around Sonic be her motivation and using it to get her into situations where her personality, drive, and spirit can shine- helping people along the way. It definitely wasnt perfect and it wouldve been nice if they gave her more agency but she wasnt without her bright moments ie. Sonic 06, Sonic Riders. They answered this through Sonic Boom, giving her a calmer, more of an exasperated boy-wrangler role. Which, wasnt that bad to have I think, especially in the tv series. It felt refreshing to have her be more important- and it was completely ok because Sonic Boom was an AU. A different world with different versions of our characters that let people explore other aspects to these complicated personas. It was a lot of fun. The main complaint that I've seen echoed was the fear they would be rid of Amy's infatuation with Sonic, her core motivation for over 20 years- and it would then be replaced with this interesting "girlboss" personality that was blasting through Hollywood at the time.
In truth, there's nothing wrong with the "girlboss" character trope, and there is also nothing wrong with the "boy-crazy" character trope. The main issue here is that Hollywood, the entertainment powerhouse that unfortunately steamrolls through diverse pop culture and transforms other things into itself, has a problem with writing women, girls, and feminine-presenting characters as entirely one-note. Every character will be "girlboss" only, or every character will be "boy-crazy", or every character will be "Well that just happened", etc. Almost never multifaceted or unique in ways that their counterparts have the opportunity to be. That isn't to say no one else falls into these same tropes, or that there isnt such thing as a nuanced female character- just that there tends to be a trend in Blockbuster movies and how the audience deciphers (or refuses to decipher) characters aka. media literacy.
And I think we, in some way, may be afraid that Amy's character will switch from one "one-note" to another "one-note", and fans of the previous status quo will be sidelined. And maybe that will happen. I loved Sonic Frontiers because it told me that Sonic Team wanted to lean into her belief in love and fate, trying to create a new motivation for her that doesnt sacrifice her established characterization. They seem to want to explore a motivation for the motivation she had for years, and I'm here for it. I have no confidence in Sonic Movie 4's characterization of Amy and do not expect them to do something great. If they do I will be happy and go on with my day, but the movie industry in the United States revolves around one thing, and if fans are happy while they pursue that one thing, that's fantastic. But I will not be surprised if she is written in a way that follows whatever trope is popular at the time of release. Does that mean there won't be a Year of Amy in 2027? Nah, they might do it- but what kind of Amy is up in the air.

Can you describe the Time aspect to me? It has always been enigmatic to me. And I'd like it to be a little bit more crystal~
I get what you mean, man. I still can't quite figure out Space- I've never been good at stillness and silence. But Time is an aspect I'm actually pretty good at! Hell, I may be better at it than our actual Time player- at least at first.
The thing about Time is that once you break it down, It's all about Action. Time doesn't (usually) go backwards, right? It's all about moving forward, to the next thing, the next goal. And it's in that process that Time gets associated with Survival. Instinct. Because in a Survival situation, it's all about the next thing. The next meal, the next hunt, the next foot forward. And in Survival, you get Destruction and Death. Because the past dies every second, and no one lives forever. Conflict is needed for every story to happen, and no one would grow if everything were peaceful. Something has to Die for you to Live. Equivanlent Exchange. Fight and Live and Feel and Die. Sounds kind of weird, but that's what Time is. You just got to realize that there is value to these kinds of thoughts and feelings. Because Instinct is how the past lives within you- it's how you connect with the people who have lived tens of thousands of years before you. Time is inescapable, but that's not always a bad thing you know? It can be quite a uniting force. Comforting, to a lot of people. Time is how you know your memories, your experiences, mean something. That you're still you. And it is good to know that nothing lives forever! Not cruelty, or hatred, not you or I or even the concept of Conflict itself. Time is its own Reaper, and that means that even the worst parts of it fall to its better ones eventually. Perhaps, even Death will Die. (obligatory I Hate Lovecraft disclaimer, but damn is that a good quote. (obligatory Lovecraft is a human thing, but I'm not going into it right now.))
If I had to break Time down to its base elements, it would be these: Existence, or what it means to live- is there a purpose to our lives or are we just animals? Literal Time and Timelines, Conclusions and Endings, Direction, the Will to Live and thus the Will to Fight, Conflict as in storytelling and life, Impulse, Destruction, Memory, Death, and Inevitability. With its core being Action and Change.
Does that make sense? Most of Aspect is just getting to know how its energy feels. Time is red and spiky and sure. Not chaotic, but not orderly either. It will kill you, either in battle or in your bed. It is not gentle, but it is not cruel. It will come when it comes. It is always coming. But it already came, don't you see? You are its child, more so than Space, because you are little and angry and feeling and mortal. It is what gave you life, not your begining, but everything after. Every gift takes something away from another, but it is a gift all the same. The gift to Be, the gift to Live, and the gift to Die. Things had to Die for you to breathe and eat. Opportunities had to be denied to even give you the chance to be born. Everything has sacrifce, and the sacrifice of Time is for you to Live, and live with it. But isn't that a gift? Time may be uncompromising, but we are still its children, born in blood and tears. It gave us the Small Picture, and the meaning in it. And I think that Time loves us. And that is a gift and a curse.

Good Night (A Psych Family AU snippet)
After many...explosive tests, Professor Von Schlemmer decided to finally stop attempting to figure out Silver's powers before he probably lost an arm in the process. He gently placed Silver in a makeshift bed made of spare blankets to comfort him.
"I zink I haf had enough excitement undt surprises fur ein day. It's time fur you to go sleep, little ein." He sighed as he patted the hedgehog on the head.
The cub titled his head to the side in confusion on why the man was leaving.
"Ve vill haf a bright undt busy day tomorrow, so get some rest now!" He chimed as he turned off the lights. He then hummed as he left the room.
Silver was left in the dark. The room seemed much different without the light or the professor in it. The bedding he was in was comfortable, but he looked around and started to whimper.
Back in the main room, the professor was too tired to get back to his own bed, so he asked the bits to take the equipment and recent notes back to his lab for him. The mini robots happily obliged and worked together to carry everything away.
The professor dragged himself to the couch and stretched his arms out as he yawned. He didn't even bother to change out of his lab coat, (Had a ton of the same kind anyway) he just wanted to rest. He laid down down on the couch and sighed. "Maybe ze kouncil vill know vhat to do mitt him. I'm nicht sure I kan keep up mitt his power! He's a schtrange kreature, but he needs help. Much more zan I kan efer profide him..."
Suddenly there was a strange humming sound coming from across the room. Von Schlemmer thought he may had left one of his devices on by accident. Or maybe the bits were making some noise in the lab.
Then he felt something soft land on his chest. And it was moving? The professor opened one eye and saw Silver glowing a few inches from his face. He was covered in cyan light as his golden eyes started back at him. The hedgehog looked scared.
"ACK! Nein, nein, nein! You're zupposed to be in your own bed!" The man exclaimed, trying not accidentally throw the cub off.
Silver's glow disappeared as he gently rubbed his head against the professor's chest. He seemed to want to be right here more than his own room.
"How vill you learn to adapt if you're here?" "Besides, you vould be much more komfortable hafving a room to your..." his voice trailed off as he watched the hedgehog.
The little creature yawned, showing his very tiny fangs that hadn't quite grown fully. He soon began snoring quietly as he nuzzled his face against the professor's chest.
Professor Von Schlemmer wasn't used to this kind of contact, at least with an organic life form. He gained plenty of affection from his companions the bits, but there was something different about this. The hedgehog felt warm and....alive. The professor was already growing attached to him, despite only having him for one day. He was even having second thoughts about letting the council have him. What if Silver was expiremented on? What if they wanted to use his powers for their own devices? What if Silver was hungry and they had no apples on hand? He quickly removed those thoughts from his mind.
He gently put his hand over the baby's fur, feeling his soft quills as Silver slept, making the critter purr. His eyes wandered to Silver's hands, which were slowly pulsating light through those curious symbols. Von Schlemmer wanted to run more tests and try to decipher the mystery behind them and the psychokinesis with them. But that would have to wait until tomorrow, he was already tired enough.
"Oh vell, I suppose ein night here vouldn't hurt. But tomorrow, you must sleep in your own bed! Perhaps your family vill return soon undt pick you up..." Von Schlemmer closed his eyes and drifted off to sleep himself.

To make sure I didn't burn out on Wish Concept Art, I took a small break to dive more into the Sonic fandom after the third movie. Soon it sent me down a trail of revisiting the games. Eventually I came across the comics and I fell in love with "The Silver Age" lost story arc thanks to @teampsych and @newtzii. And props to @spiritsonic for creating a fantastic new take on Silver's future! I hope we get to see it continue one day, it's so good...
I got so attached that I came up with a mini AU where Professor Von Schlemmer raises Silver and Gold as his children. He finds Silver first as a baby and Gold when she ends up in their dimension years later. I'll elaborate more when I finish the other sketches.
I got inspired by the Sonic films and the theme of family within it, so I wondered if they do plan on having Silver in a future movie, they could do something like this, and give him a family from the start. Maybe they could even add Von Schlemmer (or a character inspired by him) to the movie cast! The professor's parental habits are inspired by Professor Utonium from PPG and Mr. Ping from KFP 2, which is why he's over protective of Silver when he comes back battle damaged from the past or alternate dimension monster fights. That's his 15 year old hedgehog son, mind you.
I'm calling this "Psych Family AU"! Cause I'm a sucker for found family stories. So yeah, more will come later, but I hope anybody who reads the Sonic Comics, The Silver Age story or is a Silver the hedgehog fan like me, will enjoy this.
As for Wish Granted, I'm still writing it! I'm nearly halfway done with Chapter 15, so it'll be out later this month. Just need to get more time to write and finish! š
I'm still here, wish rewrite fandom!

Finished the DLC last night, some thoughts. (Excuse my dyslexia)
So, finishing this, I may need to tweak a few things with the fic I wrote. That's fine, it's already being beta'd.
Non-spoiler-y part:
I switched over to the easiest setting because of the difference between enemies and the amount of them. I'm glad I did; initially, I had the "easy mod" before the DLC but putting it to the easiest setting made a world of difference between that and the regular game play. I can't parry and block worth shit, my style is going in with brute force.
The voice acting was FANTASTIC. I was surprised to see Neil Newbon in this as the Uzumaki (yes, I know that's not him) guy. Everyone did so well!
And this makes it funnier because I actually went back and re-did the game when I got my Asus ROG Ally and picked the Dexterity build. My computer is getting up there in age, so I wasn't able to play the game as much as I wanted to. Plus, before the DLC, I wanted something to play "Hellblade 2" on.
I genuinely don't understand why people dislike Gemini. I find him to be a great levity to the story because it can be fairly bleak at times. I feel like he helps P establish his own person hood commenting on his actions and choices. The DLC made me appreciate him more.
Happy to see P speaking more--while we don't hear it audibly, him asking lots of questions is a nice touch. He was so quiet and now he's really interacting with everyone. This is such a nice addition if you're going in with high humanity.
So I'm glad that the DLC lets you explore the past, but the "moral", sort of speak, despite your actions, you cannot change the future.
And now we're getting into the spoilers section.
It looks like Lea was not a blood sister of Sophia, rather than an adopted one? I'm assuming so because Lea was implying that the Monad family took her in. I will admit this assumption is wrong because I'm assuming as much, especially when she renounces the whole Monad name, not just Valentinius. On that note, Lea seemed genuinely disgusted with her father's greed and his ties to the Alchemists. Maybe possibly what they were doing with her sister, Sophia.
That being said, the Charity House was very upsetting to be in, despite the insights it gave to us. Being used to store the arm of god, then it falling to a massacre that was then explained away from the petrification disease. Maybe because of the whole connection with Valentinus, Alchemists, Arcelcchino, and Geppetto. I feel like that would make a lot of sense a place meant for philanthropy and being such a well-established boarding school the upper class didn't want to admit they allowed a murderous puppet (with awakened Ergo of a serial killer) to come in, torture, dismember, and kill children. Like, the class disparity exists in this game. Again, that's speculation, but I feel like perhaps this assumption makes sense, because there is a (possible) retcon here.
That being said, now it's a little ambiguous as to how Carlo died? At least to me it is. Either, he died from the disease that spread at the Charity House or he was eventually killed by Arcelcchino because he was the second apprentice of Lea. Likely the latter and if that's the case, then it makes sense what Geppetto does. For someone called the "blood artist", I can't imagine what happened to poor Carlo.
Which makes the conception of P all the more haunting and disgusting. P was modeled after Carlo, he was then unknowingly burdened with the expectation that he would become Carlo. Geppetto poured all of his regret, pain, hope, and anger in this secondary puppet he made, not with his child's body, with his soul, and in the end, this never became reality. Even with the "real boy" ending, it's not truly his son because his son is an expectation of what he wanted to be. This goes back to another post I made talking about how Geppetto is like a narcissistic parent, he doesn't understand who his son was and he wanted him to be a certain way. The DLC doesn't push the whole "P is Carlo", IMO, it actively works against that and P is shown to be his own being, his own person. And the DLC is like an exploration of that.
Antonia was definitely more of a parent than Geppetto. Her taking in Carlo and being the nurturing parental figure when Camille passed (and then passing again when the Alchemists took her puppet form). Seems like her death may have have drove a wedge between Carlo and his father? Like Geppetto threw himself into work and ultimately damned any chance of his relationship with Antonia. Seems like Geppetto didn't understand how to emotionally cope with the loss and Antonia was trying to push for amends between the two. The letters were never sent and/or opened. Antonia was trying to get Geppetto to explore Carlo's talent with the piano and I thought that was so sad because the path of a Stalker is clearly one dipped in violence and Antonia wanted Carlo to have a happy future. What a sweet woman Antonia was.
I'm bummed we didn't get to see more of Romeo. From what we know about him, he seemed like a compassionate, empathetic, and loyal young man. I feel like out of the trio, he was the light of the group. Like him telling Carlo that he was fortunate enough to have family and assuring Lea he could fend for himself. So, we know he made a deal with Geppetto to become a puppet, so Romeo had his heart in the right place. But his death...
So, I think Geppetto is a wonderfully written character, in the sense that this DLC made me dislike him as a character more. Fantastic! It's clear he harbored some deep, deep anger towards Lea (and Romeo, I'm sure) to the point he decided to allow events unfold. I bet he was also tailing Lea to the Rose Estate, counting on either Archelcchino to kill her or Lea to finish him off that he brought the Nameless Puppet to finish her off. I'm assuming when Lea was able to get Romeo down, Romeo was still clinging to life or passed in her lap from blood loss. His arms were cut from his body and placed with puppet arms to torment Lea because she had cut them off of Archelcchino. And regardless, Lea knew she was going to die from her illness. I feel like she also had a suspicion of Geppetto and that he was doing something nefarious. The sad surrender at the end when he finally finds her, Romeo likely passing in her lap, and Geppetto letting loose his creation, and Lea being killed off screen. Like the genuine horror and absolute abhorrent actions of Geppetto towards the end. And then add that with the fact he had brought the Nameless Puppet to the Opera House with the same expectation of either P to be killed or succeed with Romeo's second death? Yikes.
All and all, it was fantastic, and I cannot put into words the joy of when P had approached Lea and tried to hand her sword back, in the most compassionate and empathetic gesture he could, showing her kindness and she refuses her own sword.
And when she remembers who he looks like, I feel like maybe that gave her peace before she was killed off screen.
I know some people have complained about the difficulty options but I am happy! I hope we can see more of P in the future -- I'm still betting on him being the Tin Man.

Here's a question I've got after reading the previous one, how much has Page changed throughout the years of development? Or has he stayed mostly the same?
Thanks for the question!
Page has seen some big changes that may not be obvious because the same general design has been used with a few modifications here and there.
(These are from 2016...old art...nooo...)
Page was always created to be a character, but in the very early days (still in the Paper Roblox Adventure era), the concept of Page only being a visual stand-in for the player in a very direct sense was considered. This was inspired by the fact that in the main Paper Roblox games, there isn't an actual player avatar, and instead you play as your own robloxian throughout.
Still during the PRA era, Page eventually started becoming an actual character rather than just a stand-in design. That isn't to say I'd be against a player envisioning themselves as Page, but in this case, instead of Page being the player, the player is Page, the same way you become Mario, or Sonic, or Frisk (putting the R back in RPG).
At this point, though, development had moved off of Roblox and onto Unity.
Considering that Page's design was intended to be a robloxian, even though it isn't one exactly, I felt that Page needed a bit of an update.
And so Page 2.0 was created! Now Page had things like fingers and feet instead of little nubs. Now, personally, I don't think there's anything necessarily wrong with this design. I think it's just fine. But it's just fine. In terms of character design, it's not really anything spectacular, is it? It's very plain, very generic. Anyone could accidentally create a character that looked like Page. A blank face, a white jumper, a red bandana, black shoes...
Insert Page 3.0! If there's anything that can improve a character design, it's a charm point! To try and make Page more obviously Page, I added a little notch to the bandana. (Actually, since Page will mostly be facing the other way during gameplay, I am going to switch which side it's on in the future)
But that's all design talk. What about Page as a person? Well, as Page developed beyond being a nameless, faceless, anonymous stand in for the actual player, Page also developed as a character. I meant it when I said Page had big baby energy. Page as a character is someone good hearted, perhaps still a bit naive, but who believes in the inherent goodness of people; the sort of person who can make friends anywhere, and values friendship and family. That isn't to say Page is a pushover, as you'll see in Boundless: The Lost Scripts! But, to embody the energy of a good-natured little hero, there is once again another slight redesign in the cards for Page, which will hopefully be revealed soon alongside your partner for the game :)!
#mail#boundlessut#character development#Page#Page is actually very baby...like literally#So the redesign will be adjustments to proportions so that you look at Page and go 'That's just a little baby!'

Facts I've decided on for black beacon lady of the lake OC that may or may not fit into the black beacon lore very well I'm still on chapter 2 I'll learn eventually
-The fact that has a chance to go against the lore the most, where she is there is also a black beacon. It's on an island in the middle of a lake surrounded by fog at its center, this is the lake the lady of the lake guards, the myth counterpart the black beacon parallels here is that fae world, Avalon I think. It could be found on a lake surrounded by fog, the beacon creates fog and the secret society that guards this beacon (I assume every beacon has one also a fact that could be disproven by lore I haven't seen yet) was often mistaken for the fae in the past when leaving the island.
-related still to above fact in relation and in likely to be disproven by lore. this beacon hasn't yet become hidden by rationality like the tower of babel was, as the fog hides the beacon and island from the satellite, so it hasn't yet become myth, but technology is still rapidly improving and it's time in not just being a myth or legend is running out.
-another one related to those two, last one I prommy. Lady of the lake OC is the guardian of the lake, a part of the secret society, she keeps the lakes shore safe and acts as a protector and guardian to the newer members of the secret society, not quite motherly but more mentor helping out their foolish students before promptly whacking them on the head and telling them they did it wrong.
-she has an apprentice of sorts, in the form of a Lancelot inspired OC who is just a vague concept rn, in present day he is a child who seemingly has no parents, he just shows up very dirty and was promptly taken in by lady of the lake, not like as a mother again mostly just as a mentor, she teaches him sword fighting. Perhaps in the future of the library you can find an older version of him, maybe he gets the seer to notice the records about the mysterious king maybe but that might cause a paradox. This little twerp is why I need to play more because if bellefontaine (had to search so fucking long to find it's official name) is based on France like I think it's likely that he's originally from there but ended up in lady of the lakes care by anomaly related reasons.
-her name is still undecided, but one of myths about the lady in the lake that I'm taking inspiration from has her be called viviane, so I'm thinking of giving her a name in that same vein. Be it a vivi sounding name or one that means something similar, which is lively and bright.
-lady of the lake has an accent but not the posh British accent, I've googled it and I've seen this accent be called both west country as Cornish, but I believe Cornish is more derived from specifically the language spoken in Cornwall, they took to speaking the English language last apparently so words from Cornish are often still used in those parts of Britain. This is mostly because two of the lakes I know that are associated with the lady of the lake are in Cornwall, so obviously she should share the accent they speak there.
-as stated in an earlier post she is asexual. Girl has no interest in sex. Still hot and pretty enchanting, befitting of many titles like fairy of the lake, lady of the lake and the enchantress of the lake. Try to hit on her after her first warning I dare you, she will do the black beacon equivalent of turning your ass into a frog (mostly joking. She will make you regret it tho)
This is it for now but I am so heavily attached to this lady, and I really hope most of the stuff I've thought of for her isn't contradicted by stuff in the game
#mysterious king: why'd you give lancelot a knife?! he's four!#lady of the lake oc: he felt unsafe!#mysterious king: well now i feel unsafe!#lady of the lake oc:... did you want a knife?#black beacon oc#black beacon

Can you a mirror watch Reinhardt concept??? Please??
As he's just a skin with some voice lines, I had to do a lot of HC for this. Hope you like it! I love Reinhardt <3
Yandere! Fallen Knight! Reinhardt Concept
Pairing: Romantic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Animalistic behavior, Possessive behavior, Violence, SFW size difference, Manipulation, Threats, Kidnapping, Isolation, Biting, Marking, Dehumanization, Blood, Murder, Sadism, Forced relationship.

In this universe, Reinhardt is much different from the one you know.
In fact... He almost seems feral in nature.
Shown by Ana's and Reinhardt's voice lines, He's often treated like a dog.
This is shown when he eliminates Ana, He says something about her no longer holding his leash.
When Ana eliminates Rein, she says she put him down.
Using this... I imagine Reinhardt acts more beastly, full of rage, and animalistic.
He's a unit who needs to be controlled.
He is able to increase the damage of his allies, block attacks, and devastate enemies with his shatter and fire strike.
A member of Talon in this universe, you won't want to be alone with him.
Especially since he's so uncontrolled.
Normally, Reinhardt is a knight of honor and glory.
He's a man you can trust with your life, one who would protect you with all he has.
This Rein has no honor or glory.
He's been made a hunting dog to do Talon's bidding.
He's little more than a beast of rage.
You can not trust him with your life.
But he will defend you, as he feels you're his to possess.
When it comes to (future) Mirrorwatch fics, I think I like the idea of you swapping universes.
In your universe, you have the Rein you know.
The original Reinhardt.
Yet when Reinhardt and Doomfist clash, their blows send you to another universe.
Imagine if in your universe you and Reinhardt are close.
Maybe close friends? Maybe he felt you were so much more?
Imagine if Reinhardt wasn't yandere before, but his Mirrorwatch version is.
When you wake up, you're confused.
Everyone's roles are swapped here.
Including Rein.
Reinhardt somewhat recognizes you when he sees you again.
Although in this universe he mostly sees you as a stranger.
To survive, you may need to go to this universe's Overwatch for help.
Which includes Strike Commander Ogundimu, Agent Colomar, and Captain Lacroix to name a few.
To you, you still see Doomfist, Sombra, and Widowmaker.
It's so strange to see your enemies become your friends, and your friends become your enemies.
Even more so when you see Reinhardt's a ruthless killing machine controlled by Amari.
Now his codename is just Fallen Knight... It hurts to see.
Rein may become intrigued by you when he hears you accidentally say his real name.
He's so used to the name Fallen Knight that hearing Reinhardt makes him pause.
Perhaps in this universe he had a version of you who died, which might have drove him to be manipulated by Talon?
Your voice and appearance look similar... For some reason he feels frustrated to see Overwatch evacuate you from the area he's attacking.
Amari tries to keep him under control, but Reinhardt keeps trying to follow you.
It appears you two have been brought together once again...
But not in the way you wanted.
This new Reinhardt is possessive and violent.
Like a wild animal, he'll stop at nothing to have what he wants.
Sure, Amari can tranquilize him or keep him back somehow...
Yet he'll have you eventually.
Getting kidnapped by Reinhardt in this universe is terrifying.
You spend most of your time at Overwatch's HQ after trying to describe your scenario to them.
After that, they vow to keep you under their protection until they can send you home.
Only for a Talon raid to strike Overwatch HQ.
Many Talon agents pour into the building, wreaking havoc.
You focus on escaping, only to hear a growl.
The sound of rocket boosters occur before you're pinned against one of the metal walls.
You scream in pain, looking up to see a face you once found comforting.
It looks like him... But the scar is on the opposite eye and he wears a respirator...
Or is that a muzzle?
He glares down at you with predatory intent, breathing heavily as he keeps you pinned.
The tension is thick in the air...
Right up until he picks you up effortlessly, slinging you over his shoulder easily.
Amari may let Reinhardt keep you.
Her dog deserves a treat for doing such a good job.
You get to be kept in his kennel for him to play with (his room, but Amari loves to dehumanize him).
Reinhardt doesn't let anyone else touch you once he has you.
You feel so familiar... a distant memory he can barely recall now...
But now you're all his.
Rein loves the size difference between him and his obsession.
At night he pulls you close once out of his armor, spooning you closely as he nuzzles into your hair.
He always keeps that strange headgear on, yet you don't dare take it off.
He probably bites... (He does).
In fact, if that gear ever came off, he may immediately start marking you like an animal.
Rein isolates you like you're his favorite toy.
He has bark and he has bite.
He'd threaten you to never leave his room, telling you he'll know and the rest of Talon will keep you here.
No one likes him when he's angry.
Reinhardt is a killing machine, you're not used to seeing blood on him or his armor.
He doesn't hesitate to hurt those who try to take you away from him.
Including Overwatch agents.
One wham of his hammer, and they're red paste.
Hopefully you're not around to see it... but it's not like he cares.
Reinhardt likes to intimidate you, to drag out obedience.
You should be scared of him.
He plays rough with you.
He'll pin you, carry you, rough you up...
You're a toy for a dog.
Yet sometimes... You think you see him care for you.
Sometimes you think you see your Rein in there when he cuddles you close.
However... He'll never be your Rein.
He's a fallen knight...
A beast no one can control... Who needs honor when he has you?

YEAH EXACTLY. I've been connecting to pickle more than I expected to ugh I love him. taco gives everything she can to luz, luz can eat some berries or fruits and taco will simply eat some bird or sticks. To her luz is priority and luz is more important than anything else in her world, and yes! luz has spied with her before! taco is pretty protective and makes sure luz doesn't wander too far into the contestant grounds because some wild stuff happened and she doesn't want them to potentially get hurt, but she allows her to pitch in from time to time and I imagine they were there when she was spying on mic at least. Luz is like ''that lady is so pretty! and she's pretty smart! I think she would be a great partner for you miss taco :D'' ''yup'' ''so when will you talk to her?'' ''when its the right time.'' my explanation of why mic didn't know much about luz is because more often than not luz is exploring around, and taco doesn't worry much because they are always in time for dinner. But one day its raining and luz has to get into the hotel and taco obviously begins panicking like we know, then she gets into the hotel and luz is there and yada yada you already know this story.
I don't think luz really has a concept of like how an actual home where you should live in looks like because taco and them are homeless so they are SO surprised when they comfy beds and food that isn't only just vegetables and overall just things that you wouldn't have when you're homeless, things like bathrooms, electricity, videogames etc. Baby child is very excited when pickle despite the pain he himself is going through shows them how to play his favorite videogames and is happy to see just how excited they are, the entire luz incident is big motivation to let taco into the hotel because as much as they may not trust her they can't just leave her to starve- let alone when taking care of a child. Because I see taco being more honest with luz I do see them saying pickle or mic what she really thinks of them and to both of their surprise its a lot of good stuff, pickle and mic are people taco herself told luz that are safe and nice and hell, I think despite everything she tells them that knife although not that nice is really someone safe to be around if anything happens (knife is surprised by that one and perhaps makes fun of her for it and they proceed to flip each other off, knifetaco solidarity like always <3 ) something very funny I picture luz doing is that as every kid sometimes they just wont like to go to sleep, so they will try to sneak out (they are taco's kid alright?) and literally NOBODY notices that they are around until taco carefully sits down the couch and somehow snatches them from behind it startling both luz and the residents. Luz is good at sneaking around but taco knows them more than anything she just, likes to play around with them by trying to act unaware for then surprising them by carefully snatching them right into her arms, luz is pouty and taco is unable to hold back her smile, I'd definitely adore to think how people like mic would react to their shenanigans I think mic simply smiles because she notices taco really is trying despite everything, there is something poetic about luz being what rebuilds tacomic relationship and gets them closer.
Hi Kiara!!!^^ Welcome back, and thank you for sending in an ask!!! :]
Auoguh Taco is used to being hungry anyways so Luz always eats first. Taco will easily tell Luz she isn't hungry if it keeps Luz having as much as she needs. Little Luz joining in on Taco's spying is so cute!!! She almost gets them caught a few times but eventually they get pretty good by learning from Taco's example, heheh!! And Taco doesn't see Mic as more than a means to an end until later in their partnership, so it makes sense she'd want to keep Luz hidden from her. Once she comes to trust Mic more, things soon end between them, so Mic didn't get the chance to meet her. Until they make her way into the hotel, of course.
Oh yeah, Luz has been raised completely in the forest, and Taco's never lived in an actual home, so they have no idea what a proper house is like. It would be such a change for them, and a very healthy one!!! Taco might still be in the habit of making sure Luz eats plenty and just taking whatever's left, she might need a small intervention for someone, probably Mic, to remind her that there's plenty of food for everyone, yeah? Taco would never have gone to the hotel on her own, so it really is all thanks to Luz that she was able to get in. And!! She would be more honest with Luz, because Luz hasn't done anything wrong and shouldn't suffer the same paranoia and anxiety around the others that Taco does, yeah? She'd totally give Mic and Pickle glowing reviews to Luz, because regardless of how they feel towards her she know that they're good people and will be good to her child. Even Knife, with how strongly he looked out for Mic, would totally been seen by her as a trustworthy person to care for Luz. They WOULD flip each other off in a positive way I am so glad you also have this vision.
Hehehe Luz has learned from the best, how to be sneaky!!! What you described is like a mother tiger letting her baby "sneak up" on her for practice, yeah? Adorable!!! Mic would smile seeing Taco being so... loose with someone, for the lack of a better word. A glimpse into a part of Taco that she normally keeps hidden!!!

Deconstructing Programming
āĖ ā§ āāāāā±āā°āāāā ā§ āĖ
Before you read this post, look at my post discussing this series to understand its purpose if you have not already. I will be deconstructing the ideas of more types of programming, continuing with Delta, Epsilon, Eta, Zeta & Theta programming.
See my previous post in this series for more context!
Disclaimer!
I am not denying the reality of conditioning. I am not denying that people will have the symptoms interpreted as programming. I will not deny that, especially when closer to the abuse, these symptoms will be extreme and prominent. The abuse that happens in trafficking, cults, gangs, and similar is very real and extreme. There's just the sad truth that much of RAMCOA stemmed from the Satanic Panic, and a real community of survivors has been caught in a purposeful trap by conspiracy theorists. I am still a trafficking and cult survivor.
Delta
According to common consensus, delta programming is programming done to control the mind of an individual and give an alter what is essentially a kill switch. This is done for the purposes of forced perpetration. Essentially, these alters have a trigger phrase or word, or gesture that will force them into a state where they kill, attack, maim, or otherwise violently harm someone or something.
Now you may be wondering if I found an earlier source on this definition and something connected to conspiracy theorist Svali (source 6). I found a little on what she said here;
However I found a far more interesting bit of information from source 9. A conspiracy theorist by the name of Fritz Springmeier with the help of a woman named Cisco Wheeler (who was Fritz's client for therapy):
This new source also can be used as further proof of conspiracy being involved with the eventual definition of Alpha and Beta programming from the last post.
A similar idea is found in source 4 as well
I think we can definitively conclude that the idea of delta programming is a sham as it came from conspiracy theories related to the illuminati.
Now what's the real life basis for these ideas and how does it prey on trauma survivors? Well there's actually a pretty dark explanation at play. I'll discuss the broader way this works and then anecdotally share my experiences having been led to believe that I had Delta programming and how it messed with my ability to come to terms with some very real trauma I have.
Forced perpetration is a real thing. If someone puts a gun to your head and instructs you to do something you might just do it. No matter how depraved. Forced perpetration follows this concept. Someone forces you to hurt another person in some way shape or form. Or perhaps you're taught to enact violence. A big example of forced perpetration from an organized group could be the way people are inducted into gangs or forced to engage in criminal activity to prove their loyalty with the threat of death if they don't, as well as military training and desensitization. In things like sex trafficking this can take the form of someone being forced to assault another victim. It's a horrific situation that victimizes two or more people with one being victimized twofold and the other living with the guilt of what they did to survive. It makes you feel filthy, disgusting, and often leads to self hatred.
My own belief that I had Delta alters because I lashed out violently at people around me and was antisocial (which the Schizoaffective and autism may actually explain) led me down a dark path. I've always known what happened to some extent. I witnessed what I believed was a murder; to this day, I hope I was just tricked into believing it was real. When starting to process my trauma, I fell into RAMCOA as a desperate way to explain why I was so broken. I needed a meaning.
My belief that I had Delta alters warpered my perception and began to convince me I must have killed this person. I'm thankful now to say I've gotten past the delusions of programming* and the way it affected me. I was able to remember the incident in full by writing down the flashbacks in bits and pieces over time. I was told it was my fault by my rapist. I was never the one to do it. He didn't need to do some mastermind programming. I had two traffickers who got me seven days a week without my parents present. And one was so deeply trusted by my parents he was seen as a saint. I was groomed. That's why everything happened. Nothing else. It's worse that it's human and not a conspiracy. And I didn't want to accept that.
* For me, specifically, these were delusions. I experience psychosis, and RAMCOA led to major psychosis for me, where I believed that I was a sleeper agent for the government and was being followed, tapped, and watched 24/7.
Epsilon
Generally speaking, this term refers to alters that were programmed to behave animalistically. This may be for purposes of violence or sex. It can also apply to being seen as non-human in general, including things like mythical creatures, angels, demons, and more.
This actually has origins in conspiracy as well. Svali had one idea on it, according to her old blog (source 7)
Though the idea we see associated with RAMCOA today actually comes from the two men from before (in both sources 9 & 10):
In reality, this too is not a program. It's not uncommon to feel detached from humanity after being abused. You may feel isolated or like you're less than human. There's also the fact that systems are just known to have nonhuman alters as it's a way of coping with reality. If you become some powerful being, then your abusers can't hurt you. Even wild animals can be happy, and domestic pets are often deeply loved.
Eta
The programming that falls under eta is an extreme form of reality being altered. These alters or programmed parts believe the abuse will never end and is eternal. Escape is impossible- it is always hopeless.
This one I actually couldn't find any mentions of, and as I don't want to read hundreds of pages from all the collective books, I have decided to just explain why this isn't a program, but just a normal reaction to abuse.
Many people who are abused or traumatized may feel like it's never over. This is a common reaction, especially when considering flashbacks actively make you relive what happened. If you're tormented every day with painful memories, it is only natural that you may feel helpless. This is also quite common in depression.
Zeta
A program that desensitizes an alter to all things gory and criminal. Usually, these alters are emotionless as they have no need for such petty things.
Found in both sources 9 & 10 is a definition that seems tangentiallyr related to what Zeta involved into:
Obviously, snuff films are real, but programming someone for a snuff film or even a sacrifice, as implied here, isn't exactly all it's cracked up to be. The supposed program in its modern iteration also falls in line with the trend of describing normal symptoms of abuse.
If you've been abused in especially horrific ways, you will likely become desensitized. This may even lead to things like being emotionally stunted, unaware, or so deeply dissociated that you are detached from your own feelings. There is nothing wrong with you, and abusers would never need to program this even if they could, because it is such a common response to trauma.
Theta
When one is programmed to be held to religious standards and even stereotypes, this is Theta. Any amount of religiosity programmed in constitutes theta. Priest alters, angel alters, beholden good Christian girls and boys, and so on, all are a part of this.
According to the last two sources (9 & 10) again this term had a different meaning:
So I suppose if you believe in magic, you can go by their definition. Obviously, this has been left behind for a different definition.
Though that change may have been started by Svali in Source 6:
Once again, this is a supposed form of programming that actually makes more sense when you relate it to the natural reactions to religious trauma. People with DID are going to internalize the idea of adhering to religious and spiritual ideals, and maybe even internalize versions of evil. Especially if they're branded as evil or something like demon possessed. This isn't programmed, this is commonplace cult and religious brainwashing mixed with a severe dissociative disorder that ends up with a deeper form of control over disabled people than abled people.
All of these ideas prey on vulnerable people who have real trauma and likely have experienced things to cause these symptoms that are then overlooked or brushed over in favor of the idea that they were programmed to be like this. If you convince yourself that the only way to get better is specialist deprogramming from controversial doctors and therapists, you will begin to push away other accessible methods of care. This is essentially self-harm.

im 4 days late but if youāre still accepting character ask game questions 9, 13, 20 for louis! -aunteat<3
Of course!! I'm always ready to accept asks for my favourite soggy ferret :soggyuwu: Thank you for this ask š :boop:
9. Could you be roommates with this character?
This is an interesting question, because in some ways I think I could be, but then in other ways I'm like absolutely not 𤧠I think we need to pro/con this lmfao
Pros:
We're both quiet, relatively solitary creatures who will grace people with our presence on our own terms - we won't feel the need to be constantly around each other, therefore are lessikely to get on one another's nerves
We both love to read so we could read together and compare/talk about books
We can make a mess and won't really be bothered by it (mainly because I can rarely motivate myself to tidy up after myself but still)
We can both (affectionately) make fun of Lestat and not so affectionately if needs be
We just generally have similar vibes that I think would compliment each other nicely
Cons:
We both have similar vibes that could also clash horribly e.g. wallowing in despair to the point where we would create a never ending black hole of soggy doom and gloom
Louis' snobby, pretentious nature is only tolerable because he's fictional and I don't have to put up with him. If he was real and we lived together, I couldn't deal with that and would probably call him out on it in a hopeless, failed attempt to get him to shut up with his snobbery
All in all, if we were to judge it based on this list alone, the pros outweigh the cons and therefore I think I could be roommates with Louis. The Black Hole of Horrorsā¢ļø and pretentious snobbery is a small price to pay to live with him, I think š¤§
13. What's an emoji, and emoticon and/or any symbol that reminds you of this character or you think the character would use a lot?
So funny you should ask me this when I have the perfect emoji š

It's our very own :louwee: 𤧠I couldn't possibly pick any other emoji when I specifically made this with Louis in mind lmao.
As for an emoji I think Louis would use, I get the feeling he wouldn't really get the concept of them initially š Benji might try and teach him what they are and how to use them, but I feel like that would just lead to Louis misunderstanding and using emojis 'inappropriately'. Like using š after telling Lestat he can't wait to see him later, and Lestat thinks that means he's gunna get laid but Louis intended for it to just be a general smile. Plot twist: Louis actually does know exactly what he's doing but he's just playing dumb to to mess with people
20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?
I won't lie, I don't know if this is much of an 'ideal best friend' type situation as such, and it might be kinda obvious, but the friendship I keep on coming back to is with Daniel.
I just think that Daniel is someone who could simultaneously respect Louis' boundaries, while also trying to gently nudge him out of his comfort zone. Say for example, Daniel's the one trying to convince Louis to attend the next ball with him, convincing him that he wants a familiar face (even though Armand and Marius will be there too), and how it won't hurt to get out a bit and interact with other people. But at the same time, if Louis did go and eventually had enough, Daniel wouldn't stop him from seeking out a little hideaway somewhere. He may even join him, if Louis lets him, in the event that the ball has become Too Much for Daniel for one night.
In turn, perhaps Louis would be a source of comfort for Daniel. If he was having a rough-ish night and didn't want to go to Armand or Marius in case they worried too much, but Daniel still wanted a familiar person to turn to, Louis could be that someone. Louis might let Daniel vent to him while he listens, or simply lets him hang out in silence, just co-existing in the same space until Daniel feels better.
And I think as well, their shared history would give them a relationship that's unique to them. How many other vampires can say they met with one of them as a human through an interview, ending with one of them almost draining the other dry? Maybe, in some weird way, that event would bring them closer together?
I just really love the idea of Louis and Daniel together and I think they would make really good friends. They could be good supports to one another while also being able to genuinely enjoy each other's company.
#what a surprise#i've gone off on let another tangent bc i'm physically incapable of doing long story short š#tbf i feel like considering this is louis i'm on about i've kept it quite brief š#i just really love talking about him#my most special little guy#louis de pointe du lac#lestat de lioncourt#daniel molloy#loustat#vampire chronicles#tvc#ask and you will be answered
