In an instant, Adrien’s universe splintered and shattered and sewed itself back together in a way that suddenly, somehow, all made sense. Everything had happened to get him here, to this exact moment, and he wouldn’t dare change a thing. Nino’s lips on his, sharing his air, his fingers on his skin, it all brought a sense of calm that Adrien hadn’t felt in a long, long time. When Nino inevitably pulled away, for the first time in years, Adrien wasn’t anxious at all. He knew without a doubt they’d be pulled right back together like stars on a collision course and he, for one, was looking forward to that explosion.
