Danny falls through a portal to the DC world from a natural portal that opened up while he was in mid fight with Skulker a fight that began at Vlads where the creep put a collar on Danny that kept him in ghost form, Vlad thought he’d force Danny to reveal his secret to his parents by taking away his human form. Looking around he’s in a dark city with dark smog colored skies. Unfortunately he’s stuck here as the portal closed leaving him trapped. He tried to find help but no one can see him in his ghost form. He starts tailing the vigilantes of this world and eventually follows one onto this space station through this tube (possessing inanimate objects sure comes in handy). He wasn’t expecting for the random British guy in a trench coat to see him.

One of my favourite things atm is telling well-meaning Cis people irl that I was first referred for Gender Affirming Care in 2019, and that it took 5 years for me to save up to access private hrt, and that in the 6 years since I was first referred, the most I have received is confirmation I’m still on the wait list and that I’ve got another 5 or so years left before they see me

And then watching their horror and the way they go some version of “but — but the nhs is supposed to see people in 18 weeks”

Yeah.

The NHS might struggle to meet that target a lot of the time, but it actually doesn’t apply at all for trans people. How fun

#i meant to draw bricks but got lazy #anyways did you know brick sizes arent the same throughout the entire world #or last i checked they weren't but its been a few years since i had a thing for buildings throughout the world #i had wondered if other countries used the same amount of clay per brick and if it was the same size and weight per brick #it isnt! very cool. i do sit for hours and sort through the cabinets in my brain sometimes cause i never really forget stuff like that #askbox #also. modern bricks are very different from pre 2000s bricks yeah?#i dont know when the change happenef exactly but if you look at a brick from 1900. a brick from 1970. and a brick from 2025 they're all diff #fascinating stuff!#so even over years you get different bricks!#1970s bricks are rather nice but sharp 1900 - 1910 bricks are rather varied in colors. 2025 bricks are strange #i havent been able to look at pre 20th century bricks yet but im hoping i get the chance some day

there is not enough femslash in batcest circles. the girls deserve to be just as weird about each other as the boys are. if BruDick gets to be weird father/son/brothers/lovers/friends/rivals/soulmates then it is only fair that Babs/Cass get to be mother/daughter/sisters/lovers too. Something about that deep intrinsic but undefinable love that is born out of trauma, especially if you consider Cass not knowing what healthy love looks like in the first place. i think it's fun and deserves just as much fandom content.

besides that, you can get even more niche with rarepairs like Helena/Steph. Huntress/Spoiler: Blunt Trauma is already a fantastic comic and even though it's their only real canon interaction it has so much potential. very comparable to TimJay in how Helena tries to get Steph to understand her morals and the corruption you could play with it.

batman: huntress/spoiler: blunt trauma (1998)

that comic also highlights on how both Steph and Helena are outcasts of the Batfamily and don't have the approval of Bruce to be doing what they do in "his city". I think there's so much Potential in Helena taking Steph under her wing because Bruce won't let her in and it becomes a weird codependent toxic sapphic mess. I think the protectiveness Helena feels over Steph from the get-go is so clear and the way she wants to look out for Steph, wants to make sure Steph understands the real world? I love them. Helena should be allowed to steal Steph, actually. I think it'd be fun.

there are a lot of other possibilities too like Babs/Steph or even getting weird with Helena Bertinelli/Helena Wayne and the existential question of "is it selfcest or not." But these two specifically live in my head rent-free, especially Helena/Steph and one day I'll convince everyone else to ship it too.
