DPXDC Prompt #141

Danny’s school held a contest where their students would have to write about a member of the Justice League that they admired. They framed it as a normal assignment and then mailed them to the hero. Danny didn’t think anything of his letter until he gets a few letters pop in front of him, apparently if you burn a letter for a ghost the recipient will get it. Danny thinks back to his own letter to Martian Manhunter and he remembers mentioning in his letter that not all ghosts were bad and he wishes they had the same rights as aliens did.

Of course the Justice League shows up to town and Danny is star struck as Martian Manhunter shows up to Danny’s doorstep to ask about his letter.

Felíx is supposed to be something if a snowman. Bro never gets cold, the scarf is purely for decoration lmao Pepa is supposed to represent snowflakes/snowballs, snow in general. Bruno is just. Christmas tree, everyone loves those. Julieta is covered in hollyberry's, Agustín is obviously the Conductor.

The kids??? Were a little harder ngl. Isabela is just winter plants in general, Dolores is any music, or even bells (lots of bells. They put them on her cause she's WAY too quiet). Luisa, I just thought of the Aurora Borealis; Camilo is probably the Christmas spirit or something like that, Mirabel is a conductor (in-training), and Antonio. Antonio is just there, he's still finding his thing 😭😭

What do you think about the rumours about Tommy being back next episode and probably sleeping with Buck?

I mean I'm middle of the road on it. Love it, kinda frothing at the mouth to see it happen, but also taking it with a grain of salt until we know more.

at the same time though, we all know that I was one of the people on Nov. 8th who was pretty hopeful on the fact that Tommy would be back. I had also spelled out the process of 806 ending the first arc of the season and us now being in the middle arc. bringing Tommy back in 811 isn't unreasonable. 812 would effectively be the "end" of the middle of the season, so resolving the issues of what caused the breakup so they can lay the groundwork towards the inevitable reconciliation makes sense. plus, there's also the issue of, how many times are you going to speak Beatlejuice's name before he actually pops up, yknow? We've gotten a Tommy mention in every single episode (save for 809, but they were laying a lot of groundwork, and there were still quiet acknowledgments of him there between the basketball and the speech to Blaze/Bingo). At some point you have to expect he's going to turn up when it's clear that Buck isn't moving on and getting over it. and knowing that there's a big arc coming with 814/15, I'm not overly worried about what will happen leading into it. I think there's the possibility that we could see an attempt at closure, but I've also had the belief that we could see a soft launch of them getting back together and Evan's reaction to whatever happens in 14/15 being more of a "I can't lose him, I just got him back". obviously I don't have a crystal ball full of the answers of what will happen...

but at the end of the day, I'm excited. so much has been teed up toward us heading in this direction since the end of season seven that I'm genuinely hoping the payoff gives at least a taste of what I want from it.

Saja boys AU (more explained below)

So, this au is like the same in canon but with a few minor changes. The Saja boys were born in like, THIS century. In the au all of them are in their early twenties so they are 2000's babies. All of them are 20-23/24 at the most.

They are still demons but just demons that were able to grow up alongside humans. All of them have their own families, like Huntrix, but were specifically chosen by Gwi-Ma to destroy the honmoon because they were born with the voice's to do so.

Here's the thing though, Gwi-Ma made that they're one and ONLY purpose. They could do things outside of singing but those were hobbies they wouldn't dare try to make into career's due to fear of Gw-Ma's....insanity.

Jinu was actually "raised" by Gwi-Ma though. Before being adopted, Jinu was an orphaned demon child on the streets (in the demon world of course, I'm still thinking of the world building, okay?!) with his baby sister until Gwi-Ma took an interest in him.

Of course, he uses Jinu's baby sis as a way to threaten Jinu to keep going, why wouldn't he? But Gwi-Ma doesn't REALLY need to do all that because he cares about his little sister and the rest of the Saja boys too.

The boys, other than Jinu, actually do have personalities in this I'm just workshopping them. One little fact though, Geon (baby) is the oldest out of all of the boys. He was born in December a few days before the ball drop hence why he's older, but he's never felt like the older brother of the group. Brodie more so behaves like the middle child than anything.

Danny didn’t want to go to the gala but since all of his friends were busy with their own soulmates there wasn’t much he could argue. Vlad invited his family and him to a gala out in Gotham and his parents jumped at the opportunity to show their madness with some of the elite. Danny couldn’t wait to get home, yes he knew he had a soulmate but he wasn’t sure if he wanted to pursue them or not.

They could feel each other’s emotions and his soulmate was an angry person. Danny’s whole life his soulmate acted mad and strangely prideful. But those didn’t compare to his fear, they seemed to have gotten themselves in trouble in the past and maybe even had a few close encounters with death. They also seemed to bottle feelings up from what he could tell his soulmate might not have had the best childhood but Danny couldn’t really say much on that.

Damian knew his soulmate was kind of soft. They seemed to get annoyed at his family typical for a teen. Of all the things he noted about him his dislike of Christmas was a little odd but not everyone has to like the holidays he supposed. His mother Talia imparted on him that he should protect his soulmate with his life when he finds him so he was very determined to find them. Of course galas we’re the best place to look so he desperately asked every time his father hosted one.
