1. What did you do in 2021 that you’d never done before? oh man. graduated with bachelors degrees, traveled multiple states away for a solo vacation. uhhhh im sure theres more but i don’t quite recall.

2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? i typically keep them and I did make more for this year.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth? uhhhhh in 2021 not that I can think of. not CLOSE close to me. I know of people who had babies but none that I’m close to.

4. Did anyone close to you die? yes. and then people who I personally was not close to but felt close to the situation anyway. (K with his sister and Z with his dad)

5. What countries did you visit? my own!

6. What would you like to have in 2022 that you lacked in 2021? be in love and be loved in return. I’d LOVE to have income. 

7. What date from 2021 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? may 4 -- that was when my world crashed with K.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Surviving was pretty high on that list.

9. What was your biggest failure? not standing up for myself enough.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury? i did. but I’m okay.

11. What was the best thing you bought? hmmm. to be honest im not entirely sure. 

12. Whose behavior merited celebration? EM. she went thru the worst year of her life and she prioritized getting help and doing the work. it was not easy but it made me so proud of her.

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? i think there have been several situations where people have behaved differently than i would have expected. 

14. Where did most of your money go? school, food, clothing

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? completing my degrees. holidays. 

16. What song will always remind you of 2021? ooof. dejavu. it was my theme song for everything with K.  Do you call her Almost say my name? 'Cause let's be honest We kinda do sound the same Another actress I hate to think that I was just your type I'll bet that she knows Billy Joel 'Cause you played her "Uptown Girl" You're singing it together Now I bet you even tell her How you love her In between the chorus and the verse (ooh) (I love you) So when you gonna tell her That we did that, too? She thinks it's special But it's all reused That was the show we talked about Played you the song she's singing now when she's with you Do you get déjà vu when she's with you?

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: i. Happier or sadder? january of last year i was very happily excited for planning my trip with K. we booked it at this point. this year I’m planning to go out with Z next week. I was happier last year because i was so confident i knew what my future looked like. this year its all question marks. but im hopeful. maybe it’s better I dont have these high lofty expectations.

ii. thinner or fatter? I think i’ve lost a lot of weight recently cus my clothes are much looser since i dont eat much.

iii. richer or poorer? poor af. i honestly dk what im going to do when student loans pick up. they’re only like 20 bucks a month and thats too much for me.

18. What do you wish you’d done more of? obviously what everyone wishes. working out and making money lol.

19. What do you wish you’d done less of? not much would I change. I of course wish i had moved on from my heartbreak faster but I don’t regret the time it took. it was a big time love in my life. i know i had to go thru all the reallyyy painful nights sobbing over him. 

20. How will you be spending Christmas? I dunno how this year will look. this past Christmas was really lovely. Eve was spent hosting our family and friends and it was so much fun. Day was spent just mom gram and I and we took our time and it was so relaxing.

21. What was the most embarrassing thing that happened to you in 2021? oh boy I’m sure there are plenty of things.. I dont really recall any tho off the top of my head.

22. Did you fall in love in 2021? i was in love. 

23. How many one-night stands? 0.

24. What was your favorite TV program? i couldn’t choose one. i watched a lot of bobs burgers, frasier, gilmore girls, greys anatomy (</3) 

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year? no. 

26. What was the best book you read? i never recall book names.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? uhhhhh, i don’t obsess over one single artist im more about individual songs. but my song of this year was DEFINITELY brandy lol

28. What did you want and get? hm. I wanted my degrees and i got them.

29. What did you want and not get? K. 

30. What was your favorite film of this year? pfffff, no idea. i watched a lot of sleepless in seattle

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? I turned 29 and mom took me out to wisconsin and to chicago. we had so much fun. then nathan & em took me to michigan for wineries. 

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying? a total end to this stupid pandemic.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2021? nothing much to mention in 2021. i’m going to be a bit more fashionable this year i think. more skirts, dresses, better shoes.

34. What kept you sane? oh gosh. to be entirely honest idk. it was always miller but i lost him and i am NO WHERE near discussing that without breaking into a sob. drives were another thing i use to decompress but gas prices went up and i have no money. I always relied on K and i couldn’t do that anymore. I really dunno. 

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most? none of them

36. What political issue stirred you the most? i hate politics

38. Who was the best new person you met? Z by far.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2021: You are worth more than what you settle for and it is important to demand other people treat you well if they want a spot in your life.
