I grab my stuff and put it in my bag. After 20 minutes I hear a knock on the door. I grab my phone and bag and walk to Pau at the door. As soon as he sees me he hugs me and it feels like all my worries go away.

An hour later we arrive in his hometown and now I remember why I was so worried. What if they end up not liking me? That'd be a disaster...

I'm drifting off in my thoughts until I hear his mom opening the door.

"Good evening,” she greeted warmly, her eyes kind already shining with gentle affection. “You must be y/n!"

Before you could respond, she pulled you into a soft hug that smelled like fresh linen and something baking in the oven. “Come on in. We’ve heard so much about you.” At that I look at Pau with a teasing look, knowing I'll bully him about that later.

Pau trailed behind you, his hand resting on your back as you stepped inside the house. It was cozy and sunlit, family photos lining the walls.

From the hallway, a small voice shouted, “Pau’s girlfriend is here!” followed by the pitter-patter of little feet. His sister appeared in an oversized Barça shirt, probably one of Pau’s old ones, and immediately locked onto you like you were her new favorite person. “Wanna play?” she asked, already tugging on your fingers like the question was just a formality.

You laughed, glancing at Pau, who was already looking at you with this soft-eyed expression that made your knees weak. He gave a small shrug, like you’re in now, and you followed his sister toward the living room holding her hand.

Time passed in the warmest blur—blanket forts, stuffed animals, and pretend tea parties with imaginary guests. You let her put clips in your hair, the pretty flower ones

Meanwhile, Pau leaned against the doorway, one hand in his pocket, watching. His dad had joined him at some point, quietly observing the way you moved with his daughter; gentle and patient.

And beside him, Pau’s mom smiled like she’d already decided everything.

“I can see you two lasting,” she whispered, eyes never leaving you. “She'd be a great mother.”

Pau didn’t even blink. “I really hope we do,” he said. “And she'd be a great one.”

i hung out w a, l and l and we "told" l ab my crush on w, who hes like,, friends w. it wasnt even me gushing ab him it was literally just and l being so obv and making jokes ab us and how we should meet and stuff and then a told l to message him and ask if he wanted to join our hangout and then go out for a bit. l wasnt necessarily against the idea but he checked snap map and was like "hes back home in his hometown (which is like,, 30 km away?) so i dont think hell be able to come" so i just assumed he never asked him. later on we had a lil break from hanging out to let us cook and get ready for a little wine night and then when im at home i see than a had dmed me and i check it and omg. so l ended up asking w anyways, im assuming w a little push from a and he replied being like "ah i have a gig tonight so i cant but im happy u thought to invite me and id gladly do it another time". HELLOOOOOOO??????? im assuming were just gonna try inviting him next weekend again and im so excited omfgomgomg.

I have to do some research to make sure everything is true to how things work in Japan, but here's the little manga-esque summary for it:

Basically, Tsukiko is a centuries-old vampire attempting to fit in with modern society so she can feed herself. She always carries an umbrella and says it's because she has a sun allergy. (technically the truth!) She always wears a mask covering her mouth and says it's because she's immuno-compromised and needs to take extra care being around other people, and while not strange or all that noticeable, her hairstyle covers her ears. She dresses in lolita fashion and traditional Japanese clothing and speaks in an old-fashioned dialect. She also never eats or drinks anything in front of Hanae, which Tsukiko is unable to think of an excuse for, really. (But it's because human food is gross to her; she only needs blood to sustain herself anyway.) The morning after Tsukiko moves in, Hanae wakes up with strange bite marks on her neck. Hanae quickly attributes this to bugs in her apartment (even though it's very clean and she never sees any; it's the most logical explanation to her.) but you can probably guess the true cause. Hanae also starts to notice that Tsukiko never comes into the house on her own after she goes out even though she has a key and lives there, she always knocks for Hanae to let her in. When Hanae asks her why one day Tsukiko barely comes up with the excuse of "being polite" I haven't come up with how Hanae finds out Tsukiko's true identity, but she does eventually. If it was a manga the last page of that chapter would say "Tsukiko's true identity has been revealed... but just what are her intentions?!" or something like that...! I was also thinking that at their initial meeting at a cafe Hanae asks why Tsukiko responded to her ad, Tsukiko says her current living situation isn't ideal and then in the like bonus page it's a picture of a forest with a coffin propped up against a tree and the text is "the current living situation..." I THOUGHT OF ALL OF THIS IN THE SHOWER but I of course still have a lot to develop but I really want to actually write it... I wont be able to make it a manga of course, at least not for a long time, though... Thank you for asking!! I'm kinda obsessed with it already hehe...

Loki told his brother and father about the strange bodies but they brushed it off as something normal and told Loki to man up. Loki didn't just brush it off he studied more about vampires and their history.

TIMESKIP FEW WEEKS LATER

Loki was walking around the forest to clear his head after another argument with his father. Once he turns a corner he smells blood and walks towards the scent. He stops dead in his tracks when hes sees a man crouched down covered in blood sucking on the body's hand. Loki takes out his dagger and walks up slowly behind the man and raises it and strikes down. The man turns quickly and takes the dagger and stands up and heads butts Loki. The man swiftly kicks Loki onto the ground quickly getting on Loki and pinning his hands on the ground.

"GET OFF OF ME! I am Loki! Prince of Asgard and future king!" Once Loki mentioned the prince of Asgard the man quickly got off of him and flew away. Loki stayed on the ground speechless he never had been over powered so easily and how good the man looked.

Loki quickly went home and skipped the dinner and went straight into his room and took a bath. Once he walked out of the bathroom he looked at his desk and saw a box sitting there.

He walked over to it and opened it and picked up what was inside. It was two hands one holding some flowers and the other a note. Loki ripped it open and began to read it.

adrenaline running on high, loud notes of resonating bass and popping electric guitar flooding the compact space of his dark navy audi, hwanhee was testing the limits of his speedometer at 180 km per hour on a highway back to cheongdam. with his windows rolled down and his personally tuned engine roaring as if to prove a point, he knew he was being obnoxious. and if this were any other day, hwanhee would’ve rolled his eyes at himself. 

but tonight was a special occasion. he’d just come in first in one of the biggest underground races of the year, had won a couple thousand grand, had made a name for himself, properly. all in a couple years of self-training. those late hours he’d poured into racing after long shifts at work, skidding along curbed lines, perfecting the drift, nearly getting himself killed, had finally paid off.  

a rare grin of satisfaction was stretched across his face, from ear to ear. 

so in the heat of the moment, he could hardly care less about driving etiquette. besides, few else were on the road at nearly 12 AM in the morning and time was of the essence: he had some place to be. a party at a popular basement bar near his old campus. a couple of his hanbit buddies back from when he used to attend university had caught wind of his victory, flooding his phone with texts to come through.

they weren’t wrong. though hwanhee had been forced to drop out after his third year, his small group of friends had stuck with him, four wingmen to what he could now call his racing career. 

it didn’t take much convincing to put him on course for the location they’d sent through im. and about forty-five minutes later, hwanhee was heading in towards the stairs that winded down to the entrance of the bar, keys to his car (the audi, a second favorite from his line of automobiles) tossed to the young valet out front.

as soon as he stepped foot onto the scene, hwanhee was greeted by furious claps on his back, a joking (but strong) chokehold, and a hard shot of golden whiskey, basically forced down his throat by joonwoo, a close friend and classmate since day one, and one of the most popular guys in hanbit history. was the kid of some hotshot fashion line or something, had all the girls starry-eyed. 

“about fucking time,” he heard joonwoo exclaim over the unexpected haze of liquor, the loud music ringing in his ears. “thought you weren’t gonna show up.”

“i didn’t even use the whole hour,” hwanhee pointed out indignantly, though his grin bled through his attitude. “of course i was going to come, you idiot. haven’t seen you guys in ages.” 

“and you know what that sounds like to me?” his friend slung his arm over hwanhee’s shoulders and pulled him downwards, seating him onto the couch, turning his body to face the rest of the bar. “an expensive bottle of cognac. or, even better,” joonwoo raised his voice so the rest of the crowd could hear, “just buy everyone here a drink, what do you say? a free round, courtesy of kang-fucking-hwanhee.”

Lola has done an amazing job with the acting since Madi received the flame 👏🏻👏🏻

-I cannot with all the lexa references 😪and Clarke was like “all the commanders did in horrible ways” that hit me RIGHT IN THE FEELS 😭

spoilery pros/cons list under the cut!

cons first

my biggest issue w/this movie was finn and poes plots. while they do get abt the same amount of screentime as rey smth just feels... very empty. poes plot is esp ooc and finns just... idk how to describe it other than empty? it left a lot to be desired 

the humor was weird??? like? sw is humorous yes but... it was very different. not in a good way. like yeah i snorted with the whole “i’m holding for hux” thing from poe bc i hate hux and that was a big mood but it felt very off for the film/universe. as did luke throwing the lightsaber. and some other moments i dont rlly remember

kylo ren shirtless scene was literally awful and as a lesbian i wanted to kms

holdo was??? so fuckin pointless oh my fuck literally every time she was on screen i just literally did not care

the times that finn/poe were put in harmful situations played for laughs. like.... yes, the same happened to rey too but it has much different vibes when its moc being targeted. intentional or not it was a bad call and just made me incredibly uncomfortable

shockingly bc i think im the first person to say this, luke’s characterization. the main complaints have been: a) regretted not killing vader b) considered/tried to kill kylo c) too cynical. now as someone whos a certified Luke Stan im gonna debunk these bc every one of those is down to misinterpretation or misquoting of scenes. a) he never said he regretted saving his father. in fact, he still has his kyber crystal from his saber hanging on a necklace in his hut. the conversation went like this. “the jedi have done awful things etc etc they created vader” “and you saved him” luke is not the one listing saving him as a mistake of the jedi. it’s rey countering that luke saving him was smth good the jedi did. and luke DOESN’T disagree. his only argument is that he regrets that it made him a “legend” which in turn lead to him being blinded to how dark kylo had gotten. which is honestly perfectly in character for luke. only he would feel bad for smth like that and beat himself up over it bc as usual hes a sunshine boy b) also didnt happen. when we see the scene from kylos pov, he mistells rey the story to make it seem like luke was some evil vengeful master. nope. he literally ignited his lightsaber for like 2 seconds bc he saw how many ppl kylo was going to kill before he realized what he was doing and went to turn off his saber but kylo had already seen. it’s also made clear later that while hes sorry abt what happened (which, cmon, this is luke. him feeling bad abt shit isnt an indication that its villainized. he apologized to an alien that didnt like him in anh) that he knows he was right and that kylo doesnt have good in him anymore. kylo was still the one who destroyed the order. rey was never mad at luke for trying to kill kylo simply for the sake that she felt “bad” for kylo. she was pissed that, from the distorted version kylo showed her, it seemed as if he’d “created” kylo who’d killed so many ppl.  c) okay yes hes cynical. but he doesnt stay that way. look. what have we seen from luke in the ot? we’ve seen him feel guilty over goddamn everything always and try and be a self sacrificing dumbass every second bc of that (i mean this in a very fond way i love my son). so when he blames himself for this shit, he tries to hide himself away so he doesnt fuck things up. we cant forget that while luke was a softhearted, emotional hero, he also had a lot of moments where he was cynical or annoyed (all of anh, dagobah, points in rotj). still, he overcomes that and realizes that he CAN still help and that the jedi are still needed. he talks about hope and is his same sweet self to leia and everyone else in the resistance. he also does have his sweet moments with rey.

moving on tho. holy shit the blatant parallels they drew with luke & leia and rey & kylo more than ever convinced me that they’re either siblings or cousins. him leading her into an answer of her parents being nobodies when shes already told him thats her biggest fear definitely isnt a concrete answer. like. they literally create the same scenes between rey & kylo and luke & leia. the weird ass hand scene thats been floating around also happens between luke and leia via the force. luke and leia communicate via the force more than once in the same way rey and kylo do. rey leaves in nearly the exact same manner to go to kylo as luke did when leaving dagobah to save leia. rey and leia also feel luke die via the force and they both see him in the same way rey & kylo and luke & leia have been seeing each other. if this were just a bond by snoke, that bond wouldnt exist between rey & luke & leia as well. i’m just saying y’all. luke was told his entire life growing up that his parents were nobodies and it’s stated outright in anh and yet look @ where we are now lads

rose was such a sweetie?? i didn’t love her introduction for reasons i’m sure youve all read by now but the rest of the movie she was a rlly good character and that hope sw is always about.

finn is called a hero who knows right from wrong and fights for whats right. finn is also given so many hero moments in the movie that got everyone in the theater cheering. he kills phasma. also, although dj does try and sell the whole “the rebels are just as bad as the first order” bullshit, finn calls him on it and fully proves just how bullshit that is. it’s definitely not the message of the movie.

finn and reys reunion oh gm yg od. that was so SWEET. she buried her face in his neck and he nuzzled her hair and they were both smiling and clinging to each other it was real blessed. rey also keeps asking abt finn and finn keeps asking abt her and honestly i feel god in this chilis tonight

the only good thing kyle did in this movie was force throw hux against a wall and knock him out bc hes annoying and i might hate kyle but god what a big goddamn mood

kylos irredeemable and stated to be so by the end and u kno what? thank fucking god

yes luke dying sucked and as a luke stan im gonna live in denial forever but if theres any way luke skywalker would go out itd be sacrificing himself for everyone he loves so

well THAT was embarrassing!!!! i'm a little / a lot sad right now because i feel like i had so much more to give to this game, so much i could've done if i had survived literally 10 more minutes - but that's the way the cookie crumbles! rooting so hard for mj and nobody else (that's a lie i also need to see my bbs zoe and jonathan fuck it upppp), and i'm glad i played even though i got did this dirty @ just missing merge and jury. anyway, peace out and see you on the other side of the moon <3

Nathan is getting REALLLLLLLYYY cocky and it's gonna come back to bite him in the ass. He's expecting Jonathan will work with him after constantly lying to him and it's so exhausting to try and deal with him. Nathan came up with a plan to all swap our moons when we tell people, and that's fine, I like that idea. But I told him that I already told Jonathan my moons so you're gonna have to figure something else to tell him, and what does he do but tell him one of Zach's moons. And let's be real here, if Jonathan asks Zach for his moons, and Zach is honest with him, who's Jonathan gonna believe? The person who has literally no reason to lie to him, or the person who's screwed him over like 3 times in the last day? At this point I'm just gonna try to make sure when the world turns on Nathan, that I'm either in on it or not a victim of it. Cause it's gonna happen whether he sees it coming or not.

First off: LMAO GET FUCKED TR*MP HAHAHAHA GOOD FUCKING RIDDANCE!!!! And now back to Survivor :) Whew last night was EVENTFUL! So the fucking moon challenge at first to me seemed kinda irrelevant, if someone lied it's fine it's a challenge. But after it was all over, I spoke strategically with MJ for the first time this game and damn did he have some grievances to air. He told me all about how Jonathan screwed everyone over in this challenge and if he's willing to do it for immunity, then he's not gonna be trustworthy later down the line. And it's wild to me because clearly Jonathan has enough connections to get him the win even if he didn't burn everyone. But now there's really no coming back for him. But back to my conversation with MJ. We agreed to work closely together to get to the end and I'm all for it. Well, idk if I really want MJ at f3, but I'm willing to act like I want to until like, f5 or something. So we have this long discussion and I bring up using Nathan as a shield for us, and MJ seems to like the idea. So after I get off call with MJ, I hop on call with Nathan and just relay that clearly Jonathan is untrustworthy, but I think it's in our best interest to work with MJ for now. He agrees, sets up a group with me him and MJ and we just talk all about how Jonathan is a clown, and since we can't take him out, Zoe is the next best idea. Which is kinda sad bc I love Zoe, we talk about weed and pokemon and communism and we just vibe. But unfortunately even tho I'd rather see Asya go bc we haven't talked very much, she doesn't seem to be much of an option this round. So after that conversation, I get on call with Jessie, we spill all the tea to each other. She tells me about Nathan's Trian Idol, even though Nathan already told me lmao. But she and I agree that Nathan is gonna be a huge threat to win if we let him get much further, so we want to take him out sometime before like, f5. The real gag of this game is that the NuTrian pairs aren't me and Cindi/Jessie and Nathan, but me and Jessie/Cindi and Nathan. But yeah that was my night and I'm feeling cautiously optimistic for this vote and the future of my game.

I trust jay we had a really good game call late last night and I think we are on the same page . ahhh im gonna kms bc there is like a 50% chance i'm going this round. jonathan won immunity which is great for him but that takes the target off his back and puts it onto mine. nathan cindi jay and jessie + zach are planning on voting for me while me, jonathon, mj, jules, and asya are going to vote for zach. however, it's theorized that zach has an automatic vote against him for the rocket ship which he claimed he found on an adventure, but probably didn't. that's an advantage to us, but nathan is planning on slashing jonathan's vote. so it'll be 5-5 me and zach, which will take us to a revote in which hopefully jay and cindi will flip so they don't have to go to rocks. if we have to go to rocks, that means i'm safe!! hopefully. many other things could happen, such a cindi and jay thinking we're going to blindside nathan and voting him instead of me, or nathan feeling comfy and not using his vote slasher. any way it could go, i'm nervous as FUCK. i dont want to go home!! i would be so sad :(

So MJ just came to me and explained that it's Nathan leaving tonight. I told him I'd think on it and that I'd rather look out for myself than look out for Nathan. But the thing is, going with MJ and not with Nathan...it kinda fucks me. I trust MJ, but everyone else who's voting for Nathan??? Jonathan, Zoe, Jules, Asya?? I have no strategic relationship with Zoe, no relationship in general with Jules and Asya, and Jonathan is proven completely untrustworthy. While on the other side there's Nathan, Cindi, Zach, and Jessie, people who I've put my trust in on NuTrian, and with Zach he's been up front with me this whole round and I just like him more than most people in the game. And if I truly do want to look out for myself, I can't destroy all the relationships I've built throughout the whole game for people I met three days ago and have absolutely no strategic read on. Ultimately the only people who will feel especially burned by this are MJ and Jonathan, and if all goes to plan MJ won't be in the game anymore, and Jonathan is already not my biggest fan. Really thinking about it, the only people Nathan leaving benefits right now ARE MJ and Jonathan. Like I was all about working with MJ yesterday bc we were gonna vote Zoe and I felt comfortable with that and from there I was willing to take out Nathan. But MJ is trying to take the control here, bc if he does there's a good chance he never loses it.
