Hidden injuries

That was close.

Dipper glances up at the cliff where he'd been standing. Or, more accurately, what was left of it. The whole thing crumbled beneath his feet, and he was sure he was going to plunge into the water below. But Ingvar had caught him in his hands, and the boy lay there, clutching at his heaving chest in an effort to slow his breathing.

If he wasn't scared of heights before, this definitely changed things.

"T-thanks, man..." he manages to say, but he has an odd look on his face like something just struck him. For a cliff that was so stable to stand on yesterday, it's awfully strange that it fell apart so easy... almost like somebody or something was waiting for them to come back here...

Under a shady tree

Great. This is just fantastic. Her broomstick is unreachable, she has a broken ankle and now she’s stuck in this damn tree... Can this day get any worse?

Thankfully, it seems her luck starts to change as she spots someone walking up to the tree. Thank the goddess, there is hope.

“Yoo hoo! Hello down there! A little assistance, please? I’m stuck and I can’t get my broomstick out of the tree!”

“Okay, stop for a second, don’t go further. The big sign with the word “Warning” on it should hint that moving isn’t a good thing, and I think it’s big enough you shouldn’t have to squint.”
