🔹 Sanemi Shinazugawa → Nearly chokes on his drink. “Huh?! The hell did you just say?!” Stands there, completely baffled, as you cry into your ramen about how you’re “so lonely.” He yanks your face up and growls, “You’re married to ME, idiot!” If you keep whining, he’ll grab your face and kiss you aggressively just to shut you up. “Say that again, I dare you.” The next morning, you wake up to him giving you the silent treatment.

🔹 Kyojuro Rengoku → BURSTS OUT LAUGHING. “AH! MY LOVE, HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN ME?!” Immediately picks you up and spins you around in his arms while declaring, “Fear not, for I shall be your boyfriend and husband both!” He’ll then spend the next hour showering you with compliments until you’re giggling again. The next morning, he teases you endlessly about it.

🔹 Tengen Uzui → “Oh? You don’t have a boyfriend? What a tragedy!” Smirks and plays along, even pulling out a fake tear. His wives giggle in the background as he dramatically sighs, “If only there were a dazzling, flashy man who would devote himself to you~” Eventually, he cups your face and whispers, “Oh wait. That’s ME.” The next morning, his wives keep reminding you of your ‘crisis’ just to fluster you.

🔹 Muichiro Tokito → Completely deadpan. “You’re married to me.” Watches as you dramatically sob into your drink. “You literally have a ring on your finger.” He tilts his head. “Do I not count?” You mumble, “You don’t count ‘cause you’re too perfect.” He pauses, blushes a little, then sighs. “You’re so dumb when you’re drunk.” Carries you to bed but secretly enjoys the attention.

🔹 Mitsuri Kanroji → GASPS. “OH NOOO, MY LOVE!!” Immediately cuddles you and reassures you that you’re the most loved person in the world. “I’LL BE YOUR GIRLFRIEND AND BOYFRIEND IF YOU WANT!!” She even makes a whole list of reasons why you’re adored. The next day, she excitedly asks if you remember her ‘love speech.’

🔹 Obanai Iguro → “...Are you serious?” Looks completely betrayed. You keep whining, not noticing how his grip on his cup tightens. “You’re MARRIED to me. How the hell do you not have a boyfriend?” When you drunkenly say, “You’re my husband, not my boyfriend,” he stares at you like you’ve committed a crime. Kaburamaru hisses in agreement. The next morning, he ignores you until you apologize properly.

🔹 Gyomei Himejima → Soft sigh. “I see.” Gently wipes your tears as you ramble about being ‘unloved.’ Then, with zero hesitation, he pulls you into his lap and starts listing all the ways he cherishes you. “You are loved beyond measure.” The next day, he reminds you that even in your drunkest moments, he will always reassure you.

🌓 Upper Moons & Muzan

🔹 Kokushibo → Silent for an entire minute. Stares at you as if you just grew another head. “You… do not have a boyfriend?” Watches you dramatically throw yourself onto the table. “Impossible.” Finally, he exhales deeply and pulls you against his chest. “You are MY wife. That is beyond a mere boyfriend.” The next day, he reminds you that your ‘foolish drunken words’ made him question your intelligence.

🔹 Douma → GASPS SO LOUDLY. “OH, HOW COULD THIS BE?!” Dramatically grabs you and cradles you while fake-crying. “HOW COULD YOUR BOYFRIEND ABANDON YOU LIKE THIS?!” Then he kisses your forehead. “Oh wait, that’s me~” He spends the next hour teasing you, calling himself your ‘brand-new’ boyfriend.

🔹 Akaza → “WHAT?!” Nearly falls out of his chair. “You—you don’t—Y/N, I’M RIGHT HERE!!” If you keep complaining, he grabs your face and forces you to look at him. “I’M YOUR BOYFRIEND. YOUR HUSBAND. SAY IT.” When you refuse, he gets pouty and hugs you from behind, sulking. The next morning, he’s grumpy until you remind him he’s your favorite.

🔹 Muzan Kibutsuji → Does not move. “Excuse me?” Raises an eyebrow as you drunkenly cry into your soup. Watches you go on and on about being ‘so single.’ Finally, he tilts your chin up, smirking. “Would you like me to find you a new boyfriend, then?” (Translation: Say yes, and you die.) The next day, you wake up to him watching you. “Say it again. I dare you.”

🎴 Main Three + Genya

🔹 Tanjiro Kamado → SO CONFUSED. “But Y/N… I’m right here?” When you keep whining, he gently takes your hand and kisses your wedding ring. “Does this not mean anything?” He patiently waits for you to realize before wrapping you in a warm hug.

🔹 Zenitsu Agatsuma → STARTS WAILING EVEN LOUDER THAN YOU. “YOU DON’T HAVE A BOYFRIEND?! BUT YOU HAVE ME!!!!” Literally grabs your hands and shakes you. “DO I MEAN NOTHING TO YOU??” Probably ends up crying with you. The next morning, he reminds you dramatically of your betrayal.

🔹 Inosuke Hashibira → “WHAT?!” Looks around like he’s about to fight someone. “WHO STOLE MY GIRL?!” When you say, “No one, I just don’t have a boyfriend,” he snarls, “I’M YOUR BOYFRIEND, DUMBASS!!” (Is ready to throw hands with the air.) The next day, he’s grumpy and demands an apology.

🔹 Genya Shinazugawa → COMPLETELY SHORT CIRCUITS. “H-HUH?! BUT WE’RE M-M-MARRIED???” Face turns BRIGHT red. When you keep whining, he stammers, “B-But I thought—D-Does this mean nothing to you?!” When you wake up, he’s still sulking. “So… do you still think you don’t have a boyfriend?”

The wind whispered through the trees as you walked along the dirt path leading back to the Demon Slayer Corps headquarters. The sky was a soft lavender hue, the first stars beginning to twinkle above. It had been a long mission, but at least it had ended in victory.

You barely made it past the first torii gate when you heard it—a rustling, then hurried footsteps.

“Y/n-sensei!”

Three voices, in unison, calling out to you.

You didn’t even have time to turn before a weight slammed into your side. Tanjiro, ever so gentle despite his strength, buried his face in your shoulder. His breath hitched, relief clear in the way his hands clutched your haori.

“You’re back,” he murmured. “We were so worried.”

A second body crashed into your other side, significantly less gentle.

“Where the hell were you?! We’ve been starving without you!” Inosuke’s voice was loud, muffled only slightly by the way his forehead was pressed into your shoulder. “These idiots didn’t let me run into the mountains to find you!”

And then, Zenitsu. Clinging to your arm like a desperate child, his wails loud enough to alert the entire estate.

“Y-Y/n-sensei! You can’t just go off on dangerous missions without us! What if something happened to you?! Who would cook for us?! Who would make sure Inosuke doesn’t punch a Hashira in the face?! Who would protect us?!”

You sighed, though your lips curled into a fond smile. These three were more than just your students. Somewhere along the line, they had become your ducklings, following you around wherever you went, seeking your approval, your presence.

With a chuckle, you ruffled their hair one by one.

“I missed you too,” you admitted. “And I’m fine. You know I’m a Hashira, right? It’ll take more than a few demons to take me down.”

“B-But still!” Zenitsu sniffled.

“Enough whining,” Inosuke grumbled, though he was still very much glued to your side. “She’s back, and now she can feed us!”

Tanjiro laughed softly, finally pulling back, though his hands still clutched your sleeve. “Are you hungry too, Y/n-sensei? You must be exhausted.”

You hummed, pretending to consider it. “I could use a meal. How about we all eat together? My treat.”

Zenitsu gasped, tears sparkling in his eyes. “I knew it! You do love us! You do care!”

Inosuke pumped a fist into the air. “FOOOOD! Finally!”

Tanjiro’s smile was radiant, his exhaustion melting into quiet happiness. “Let’s go. I’ll help cook.”

And just like that, the three of them trailed behind you, sticking close like ducklings to their mother.

You couldn’t help but feel warm at the sight.

Yes, they were warriors.

Yes, they were strong.

But at the end of the day, they were still just kids.

And you would protect them, feed them, and care for them as long as they needed you to.

The kitchen at headquarters was already warm when you arrived, and despite their exhaustion, all three boys eagerly helped prepare the meal.

Tanjiro, ever reliable, was already washing rice and cutting vegetables. Zenitsu grumbled about being forced to help, but his hands moved skillfully as he worked on seasoning the fish. Inosuke, surprisingly, listened to directions—for the most part. He still insisted on “hunting” ingredients, which really just meant charging into the pantry and coming back with an entire bag of flour like it was a prized kill.

“Y/n-sensei! Look! I got this myself! Now make something good with it!”

You pinched the bridge of your nose. “Inosuke, put that back. We don’t need flour for-”

“Don’t waste my bounty!”

Zenitsu groaned. “You absolute barbarian! You can’t just bring random things and expect them to work in the meal!”

“Yes, I can! And Y/n-sensei is the best! She can cook anything!”

You sighed but patted Inosuke’s head, making him freeze in place before puffing up proudly. “I appreciate the enthusiasm. How about next time we bake something?”

The wild boar boy nodded sagely. “Hmph. Fine. But only because you said so.”

Dinner was simple. grilled fish, miso soup, fresh rice, and vegetables. Nothing fancy, but by the way the three of them practically inhaled their portions, you would have thought it was a feast.

Zenitsu let out a dramatic sigh, clutching his stomach. “I could cry. This is the best meal I’ve had in forever.”

Tanjiro, cheeks slightly puffed with rice, nodded in agreement. “It’s really good, Y/n-sensei. Thank you.”

Inosuke, on his third serving, was too busy stuffing his face to respond verbally. Instead, he let out a pleased grunt.

You shook your head fondly. “Honestly, what would you three do without me?”

Zenitsu gasped. “Perish.”

Tanjiro coughed, looking embarrassed. “I’d… probably manage.”

Inosuke shrugged. “I’d be fine, obviously. But if you want to keep cooking for me, I won’t stop you.”

You smiled, gathering their empty bowls and ruffling their hair once more. “Then I guess I’ll have to keep an eye on you three, huh?”

Zenitsu immediately melted into your touch. “Yes, please.”

Tanjiro laughed sheepishly. “If it’s not too much trouble.”

Inosuke let out a grunt, but you caught the way his lips twitched upward.

You sighed, shaking your head. “What a handful.”

But they were your handful. And you wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world.

! The Hashira and their bedtime routine with their kids 💤

Giyu is the one reminding them to do all their productive stuff. Make their bed, change, brush their teeth. Doesn’t co-sleep. Teaches them how to be independent on their own and face their fears of the dark (he just wants to cuddle with their momma more, for the most part). He makes sure always to say “I love you” when tucking them in and makes sure they say it back. It’s huge for them because so many people around him die, he’s so scared that one of his children won’t wake up after not telling him “I love you” or vice versa.

“Yes daddy I did..” Your youngest whines, after being bombarded with a thousand questions by Giyu. Giyu sighs and nods, carefully tucking both kids in and giving them nose kisses “I love you.” His kids repeat it back. Yawns overtaking every word that they say.

Kyojruo cannot leave your kids ALONE. When the baby started sleeping in another room he 100% snuck in there every night to squeeze his humongous body into that tiny crib just to hold his baby. Co-sleep warrior like actually. Gives them lots of cuddles and kisses before bed, even nighttime stories. He’s super animated during the books too. Throwing his hands everywhere, changing his voice. You basically have to drag him out the room because your kid needs to sleep and he’s nuzzling their cheek rn for the 1820th time.

“Husband.” You deadpan “wife.” He looks up at you, hugging your three year old with a death grip, cheek to cheek. An arm sprawled over their eyes and soft snores being lifted from their mouth. “It’s time to let them sleep.” He immediately frowns, giving his baby one more nuzzle and then getting up and looking at you either mischief. Your turn.

Gyomei’s kids cannot get enough of him. Like rengoku just backwards. He’s the type to be one and done, I believe, and I see him as any dad, girl, boy. His kids treat him like a rock wall, I imagine he’s brushing his teeth and tiny hands and feet are slapping against him while his 2 year old is gripping onto his shoulders, one leg sprawled across his back, not even taking up the whole size. He’s incredibly gentle with his child, picking them up with one arm, placing them down on their bed and kissing them on their cheek goodnight. He takes up a lot of the bed, so if your kid ever wants to join you both they’re in for an insane squish between you two.

Sameni will not share you, he doesn’t care. The kid would be crying because of a nightmare and he’d be sprawled all over you, drooling, clinging to you and shaking his head. Until you give him a look.. and he begrudgingly lets the kid in the bed (he’s grabbing onto both of you with a death grip). He wrestles with his kids before bed, and as his finishing move (because he always wins) is throwing them down on their bed (gently).

Obani tucks them into bed and stays there until they fall asleep just watching them. He’s silent, but he’s thinking about how he made such adorable kids, and he waits just in case they need him before bed. He does like having more time with you though, so as soon as he leaves the kids rooms he immediately goes to you and snuggles into your chest. He’s clingy.

Tengen is often busy because of his multiple wives and his job as a hashira. But he never neglects his kid. He makes them feel loved and appreciated, and they have his full attention. Nighttime routine goes a little like this.. His kid gets a bear hug, Tengen spinning them around and doting on them, then they brush their teeth together, splash around in the tub, of course tengen is not in but he’s still drawing some silly drawings with bath crayons, he gets them dressed in mismatched pjs and hums them to sleep. He loves his little best friend so much. He genuinely loves his kid and loves hanging out with them.

Muichiro will often forget something they have in their bedtime routine. You have to be standing in the doorway guiding him through everything you do for your toddler because he forgot. He does just the bare minimum. Teeth brushing, shower, pjs. He doesn’t really have anything special for them to sleep, he just lightly strokes their hair until they lull off into sleep. I kinda see him as a read a baby book type, have the kids head in his lap, stroking their head and reading the words very slowly…

Bonus- aged up! Inosuke as a dad

Your 10 month old baby sat in the tub, damp tuft hair with h/c as the main color with darker streaks and lightening blue at the end like inosukes hair. The baby sat utterly confused while they peered their huge eyes up at their dad. “Da-Da” inosuke points to himself with a huge grin. “The best around, the strongest, the most powerful.” Inosuke brags, flexing a muscle in front of your little one as if they understood one bit. “Ma-“ your baby started up, tiny voice recognizing only one word. “Nononono- Dada!” Inosuke makes a dramatic gesture, grinning. Your baby was now starting to get a little fussy. “See c/n? Dada! Da-Da.” Your baby suddenly gets a focused expression, shutting Inosuke up, while they bring their fist straight to the bath water right in inosukes face. “MAMA” .

muichiro’s hands are tough from the consistencies of training and hard work, didn’t became a hashira in 2-3 months for nothing. but it isn’t sandpaper bad. cuts liter his palms often — also gets some what clammy

his hands are average in size for his age, or even dainty. he has slim fingers with average sized palms.

his nails run a little unkempt and are sometimes cracked, his cuticles are a little roughed up from fighting. also doesn’t care much for nail care but likes it when you take care of it for him, or even tells you to do it — he likes the feeling of your hands on his; the warmth radiating from your hands is pleasurable.

he gets a lot of cuts often, sometimes when he’s reading he gets on purpose to ask you to help him tend them or bandage his wounds, he likes your touch, a lot.

extra. physical touch is actually one of his love languages and quality time, which is why he does these on purpose.

if you scold him he would have puppy eyes and say it won’t happen again ( it will ).

defiantly plays and / or massages with your fingers. traces the wrinkles on your hands, oh and also kisses your fingers one by one so very gently and lovingly, like if he pushed down too hard you’ll shatter like glass

his grip is soft and he likes intertwining your hands, he gets this stupid little smile and can’t stop staring at both your hands intertwined

he doesn’t care who stares or comments he loves holding your hands so it happens often, if he can’t for some reason he’ll hold your inner arm or a piece of your clothing ( most likely your hoari / back of your shirt )

genyas’s hands are on the rough side, but his touch is still just as gentle despite the textured skin. because of him eating demon flesh gives the after effects of his skin being more thick and hard.

especially his fingers from using a gun instead of a kitana

his hands are above average with wide fingers, most likely from him eating demon flesh. but nevertheless his hands temperature can go from warm and cold, it mostly runs on cold though.

he has a few cuts littering his fingers but they disappear as much as they appear.

when he ‘becomes’ a demon his nails grow more than his average and more sharper, has a hue of yellow and black — naturally, his nails are sorta uneven and short.

he likes it when you offer to cut his nails and take care of it for him, it saves him trouble but feels bad he’s letting you take care of it and not him, so he tries to help the best he cans.

his hands are clammy when you hold hands cause of how flustered and nervous he is, but you don’t comment or mind it.

his grip is loose, but tender. it firms up at times—like while in a crowd so he won’t lose you or in vulnerable moments

sanemi used to hold his hands when younger and those memories come around his minds when he spaces out while holding your hand, it usually causes his grip to firm up and if you comment how hard he’s squeezing your hand he’ll apologize and stop

he’s flustered and embarrassed holding your hand in public but is proud of himself if he initiated it first. generally way more affectionate in private but still gets red

extra . you two could be watching fireworks at a festival and then he goes in and holds your hand while your looking at the fireworks aaa

so by that, holding hands with him is somewhat rare, unless if your overly affectionate then it would be way more, he doesn’t mind it or anything he’s just shy doing pda — you could just hug him and he’s tomato red.

tanjiro’s hands are pretty rough for the high amounts of training and combats he’s endured especially after the hashiras’ training, but nothing like sand paper bad like inosuke’s. there’s a few cuts littering his fingers but it isn’t major

his hands are above average with slightly slim fingers.

his hands run on the slightly above average size, his hands run warm; good for the winter!

his nails are taken care of, not as much as it was before. trims his nails short from time to time since they grow a bit long since he neglects nail care often.

but offers to do yours! if you aren’t good at taking care of yourself cause of your living circumstances as a demon slayer then he’s happy to do it for you even if you can for yourself — he’s happy to help you.

likes it when you do it for him also, the touch of your hand will always be a enjoyment for him!!

tanjiro’s grip is tender yet firm, you’re one of his reason to live and fight for and would do anything to protect you at all costs. he squeezes your hands especially if either of you came back from a mission.

hand holding with him is regular, if you are a demon slayer then he holds your hand while walking to or back from your missions. he also holds your hands for comfort, expect in serious situations.

inosuke’s hands are rough, he grew up on the mountains so his hands are somewhat close to sandpaper texture, though his hands get clammy. he has scars and cuts on his hands—one or two bruises—cuts regularly pop up.

his hands are above average with big palms and thick fingers, it’s regular for his hands to have dirt on them

his nails and cuticles aren’t the greatest compared to when you took care of them for him, he does a lot of training so his hands’ appearances take the brute of it.

more times than none he’ll accept your help on keeping them trim and dirt free, but he doesn’t really try much to help since it feels a tad pointless to him, but he likes your hands on his.

while training he’s prone to a lot of nail crack/breaking and half the time it slips his mind unless it scratches his skin or something. in which he stops training to search for you to help him clean it.

inosuke’s grip is all over the place, his hold is clammy and there’s always dirt involved to an extent. he’s not really sure how to do the whole hand holding without squeezing too hard and breaking your hand or holding it too loose he loses your hand

he gets jealous if you hold someone else’s hand for helping them and will turn it into a competition for the other person of who held your hand the most, and the person is like : ????

you can scold him but it doesn’t sound very scary coming from you, but it makes him feel fuzzy when you express you care for him.

extra . probably ruins the pure moment by saying lord inosuke can handle anything and then you go along saying that you forgot he’s the the king of the mountain and that he can endure anything LMAO

holding hands with inosuke he’s secretly touch starved so he’ll sometimes take to holding other parts of you if your hands are busy or he really tends to silently hug you

zenitsu’s hands are average in size, they run stupidly warm and occasionally clammy when he’s flustered.

his cuticles and nails are unbothered, surprisingly his nails are cut since he takes care of himself often.

LOVES it when you take care of his nails and you both talk about everything and nothing, or just a silence is so nice with your hands on his — and defiantly looks at you with a awe expression

holding hands with zenitsu is common. he’s lovesick and touch starved, especially for comfort or reassurance when he’s scared.

when you first held his hand was probably for reassurance, his hands was clammy during the time since he was flustered by your action — and scared of the demons — but it was nothing you minded

his grip is firm and soft, he knows how to hold a woman’s hand and treats you delicately, though what i said before he does hold your hand too tight, apologizes if he thinks it’s too tight but sometimes doesn’t notice because of the fear he’s accumulating

He’s literally mid-bite into his food when he sees the notification pop up on his phone. He casually opens it, expecting something completely normal—AND THEN HE CHOKES. Literally almost dies. His brain freezes, and in a reflex, he blurts out, "UMAI!" before realizing WHAT THE HELL DID I JUST SAY?!

After a full minute of staring, contemplating life choices, and sweating, he finally texts back:

"Ah, my love, is this the dish you intended to prepare for tonight?" 😳

(Translation: "I don’t know how to respond, so I'm pretending this is normal.")

🌊 Giyuu (internal crisis mode activated)

Giyuu opens the message, blinks once, blinks twice, then freezes like a Windows XP shutdown screen.

"Y/N… what the fuck… I’m at work."

BUT HE DOESN’T DELETE IT. Oh no, he saves it. But in his brain, he justifies it like, "Well, I’m her boyfriend, so it’s fine, right? I have a RIGHT to have my girlfriend’s photo, RIGHT?"

And now, he can't focus on his work because every time someone calls his name, he's thinking, Did they see? Do they know? Am I a disgrace to the Water Hashira name?

🌪 Sanemi (throws phone across the room)

The second he sees your name pop up with an image, he instinctively opens it. Big mistake.

He YEETS HIS PHONE ACROSS THE ROOM so hard it leaves a dent in the wall. "WHAT THE FUCK—"

After five minutes of pacing, running a hand through his hair, and cursing at thin air, he tiptoes over to pick up the phone, glances at it again (while muttering "just one more time"), and then saves it without thinking.

Two seconds later:

"You’re an idiot. But a fine-looking idiot. I’ll be teasing you about this forever."

And he DOES. Every chance he gets.

🎆 Tengen ("Flashy, but could use better lighting.")

Tengen examines the picture like a fucking ART CRITIC. His first thought isn’t "Wow, Y/N is hot." No, no. His first thought is: "This needs better lighting."

He literally squints at the screen, analyzing it like he’s about to write a professional review. Then he texts back:

"Next time, use the other lingerie set. And honestly, the lighting is a bit off—try positioning yourself near a window. Flashy things deserve proper presentation, after all."

His wives: "EXCUSE ME???" 💀💀💀

☁️ Muichiro ("Why would you send this? Oh well.")

He opens it. He blinks. He turns off his phone. He puts it in his pocket.

Five minutes later… he takes it out again.

He opens it one more time. He blinks again.

Then, without a single ounce of emotion, he saves it and deletes it five seconds later like he’s playing some kind of weird self-control game.

Finally, you get a text:

"Not sure what you want me to say."

💖 Mitsuri (blushes so hard she faints)

Poor girl. She literally malfunctions. As soon as she sees the image, she lets out the cutest little squeak and FLINGS HER PHONE.

She tries to calm herself down by drinking tea but her hands are shaking. She tries to breathe but her lungs are malfunctioning. She tries to text you back but her fingers won’t work.

Eventually, she FAINTS.

You don’t get a response for HOURS until she finally texts:

"OMG Y/N I DIDN’T EXPECT THAT BUT WOW YOU’RE SO BEAUTIFUL BUT ALSO OMG I THINK I DIED FOR A SECOND???"

🐍 Obanai (stares in judgment but secretly combusts)

He reads the message. His face doesn’t change. His expression remains 100% deadpan.

But on the inside? His soul is burning in hellfire.

He grabs Kaburamaru, his snake, and just whispers, "What do I do with this?" 💀

Finally, he texts back:

"This is highly inappropriate."

...And then IMMEDIATELY follows up with:

"Not that I dislike it. Just saying."

The moment he opens the picture, his soul leaves his body.
