I don't know if I can call this spoilers, but well Insta is taking much care to show me what the Isle of Berk looks like at the Universal Studios in Florida. How the Toothless animatronic looks, the plushes being sold in the shops, but what's really getting me excited is getting to see the Dragon Riders walking around the HTTYD campus.

Especially this morning, I got one where someone was asking questions to Ruff and Tuff, and they started yelling, looking for CHICKEN

Which not freaking gonna lie gets me rabid of seeing just how much acknowledgement there is of the shows being canon. Even if just the stuff I'm seeing so far being of RTTE.

(although i know there's a vain hope that they get actors to play the characters who didnt make it to the movies, ex. Dagur, Viggo, Gustav)

Big fan of the idea of Hiccup not being Berk's only hiccup/runt, he's just the only one that survived to adulthood.

Maybe even that's why people disliked him so much, because the other kids while sickly and weak, were ultimately harmless.

Meanwhile Hiccup was actively–albeit unintentionally–causing destruction and wasting resources, but being the chiefs son was probably not getting as severe punishment for it compared to the repercussions anyone else would face for, like, blowing up a building.

Like imagine these scrawny little kids are essentially dropping like flies every devastating winter, food shortage, or particularly bad dragon raid. People are constantly mourning their children, but this little fuck always causing problems and never experiencing real consequences for it (at least in the eyes of most), always somehow pulls through (sheer spite, probably). It's unfair to blame him, but then again experiencing loss always seems deceptively easier when you have something to direct your anger at and irrational things like that are just human nature
