Suletta's eyes go wide before shutting as she instinctively moves behind Miorine, stuttering incomprehensible gibberish.

Miorine rolls her eyes at Suletta's actions, stepping out of the greenhouse and crossing her arms.

(Miorine) "Who's asking?"

(???) "I want to challenge her to a Mobile Suit Duel!"

Immediately, something switches in Suletta as her eyes open again, moving to Miorine's side, her fists close to her chest.

(Suletta) "For Miss Miorine's hand? I-I won't let you! I'm her Fiance, and I won't lose to anyone!"

(???) "Miorine? I don't care about her! Suletta...the truth is, I'm in love with you!"

The school's artificial wind passes through the air, being the only sound for a brief moment.

(Suletta) "...H-Huh?!"

(Miorine) "What?"

Suletta completely freezes up, unable to formulate a response as her hands start twitching on their own.

Making Miorine weirded out by her fiance, then looking back at Suletta's "Lover".

(Miorine) "What the hell do you mean you don't care about me?!"

She didn't know if she should be happy, or completely insulted.

They turned back to Suletta, who was still in shock.

Finally, Suletta explodes into a mess of stuttering, blushing as brightly as Miorine's tomatoes.

Miorine hits Suletta on the top of her head after standing on the top of her toes, then glaring daggers at the Jeturk House member.

Suletta takes a few deep and obnoxious breaths before nodding.

Aerial's eyes flashed green before the thrusters ignited, and flew into the sky.

Suletta's cockpit rumbled as her eyes looked through the cameras, and hearing a voice come through.

(???) "Suletta Mercury, know that my love for you will shine through this battle-"

(Suletta) "U-U-UM! WITH RESPECT, PLEASE FOCUS ON FIGHTING!"

Aerial's funnels immediately break off from the main suit, and flying off in the direction of her "lover's" mobile suit.

Suletta's hand moved to the controls and prepared to fire the beam rifle, only to realize that they were going in a complete straight line.

(Suletta) "What are they...?!"

Even the funnels hesitated to fire, Aerial seemingly confused by what stunt they were pulling.

(Sulettta) "...Yeah, I don't know what they're doing either. Wait, they're dropping their weapons!"

(Miorine's voice) "Hey, why are you just standing there?! They're coming right-"

(???) "STAY OUT OF THIS! THIS IS MY ULTIMATE TECHNIQUE!"

(Suletta) "Eh?!"

(Miorine) "Huh?!"

The monitors of Suletta's cockpit flashed for a singular second, as if Aerial was mimicking their same thoughts.

(???) "THIS HAND OF MINE IS BURNING RED!"

Aerial landed onto the ground, the Gundam quickly adjusting itself as it stared at the opposing mobile suit.

(???) "IT'S LOUD ROAR TELLS ME TO GRASP HAPPINESS!"

No one watching said a single word as their mobile suit lunged forward, its hand burning red.

(???) "BUUUUURNING-"

The Mobile Suit lunged forward, soaring through the air as its fist aimed for Aerial's head.

Before Suletta slightly adjusted the joysticks, feeling her mobile suit side step gently, and watching as they landed completely on the ground.

i have another one for lee i think fits in this level that many of you may know from my magnus opus fight club: lee is--whether certified or not--definitely qualified to be a physiotherapist, and i think he'd volunteer at the hospital helping patients with mobility related injuries. reasoning: PLEASE in order to be a brilliant taijutsu specialist he has to have like the most intimate understanding of how the body works. that's his whole area of expertise. and i think that even post-op as a sand-squished teen he would have needed tons of therapy, and rock "paragon of virtue and chivalry and whatever" lee would absolutely feel like he needed to provide some sort of assistance to the hospo staff and help the other patients. because that's what a good shinobi would do. dattebayo

yall know what time it is its LANGUAGE HEADCANON TIME based on, once again, all of @sagemoderocklee's fantastic lore. i think lee speaks 3, which for me are a) some form of shinobi common b) whatever the land of fire's local is, and c) something unique to team gai that's heritage based. in tgod i call it nishitsuchigo. i think gaara speaks [large number] on account of being mr sand president sir and thus becoming to some extent a diplomat, plus all those night awake? polyglot challenge speedrun. and the gaalee aspect of this is that gaara can speak all three that lee knows, so they can use that heritage based one to talk shit about their coworkers what who said that.

Since, to me, these comments have a lot in common - my health and recovery - I will respond to them in one go.

I do agree that my health and recovery should, and will be, my top priority. However, Tumblr will also be a source of healing to me which is why I made the Mun PSA to begin with; as I won't be able to cut posts, I do not trust icons on mobile and won't know how long my replies are due to the size differences from my computer to mobile.

To elaborate on what I mean by Tumblr being healing is due to being both bed and mobile bound will likely drive me nuts within a week. I may not be able to do 'serious' threads in my drafts BUT there are still things I can do on mobile here - dash commentary, sending mutuals asks/memes, writing and posting headcanons etc! Not to mention how much I adore my mutuals muse portrayals, if all I can do is lurk on the dash, then I wish to 'keep up' with fascinating threads.

Of course Discord is another option for me to rp during my recovery. Not everyone does it and I do not wish to pressure anyone to do so just because I would love to interact/rp with them!

In conclusion. the next few weeks will be 'interesting' and I hope to come out of it not just cancer free but a stronger minded individual. Yes, there are still things that I personally will worry about but I'm in a better mindset then ever to tackle those issues should they manifest.

Darrell was one sappy man, and Red loved every second of it. Even in the heat of the kitchen, his face felt hotter by just reading the text message.

"SHUT up! You're making me blush at work"

Darrell was going to spend thanksgiving over at Ambrose with some friends of his, he was offered to come with, but ultimately decided to stay, Skulk couldn't handle the hogs by himself. And boy was he regretting staying already.

He was more quiet than usual, his mind wandering to the blue haired giant. Safe to say he burnt a few pancakes while spacing out. 

It's not like Darrell would be here with him anyway. He's at work, Darrell would be at the station. They'd be chatting over text just like they are right now. 

The difference being, once he gets out of work, he won't be able to visit Darrell. And even if that time hasn't come yet, the knowledge that he's away is enough to eat away at his heart.

The day had gone by way slower than usual, for a moment he was reminded of the time before he arrived at Devil's Peak. How many years has it been? He doesn't even remember. He had been wandering from town to town, looking for a place where he could settle discreetly. A place where everything worked with cash, no questions asked.

He decided to skip the usual Friday Night at the bar, he'd just drink a few beers by himself this time. 

On top of Darrell's trailer that is.

Red climbed to the flat top of the mobile home, 6-pack of beer in one hand. The air was cold and humid, he could see his own breath under the moonlight. 

He opened his phone and typed a message for Darrell.

That was fast…

"Don't you mean 'in'?" He let out a chuckle.

He put down the phone and cracked open a beer, this will be a long night.

This was the second week in which he was drunk and missing him. Only this time there was no way of seeing him. He felt stupid, he never imagined he'd catch feelings for Darrell, or anyone, for that matter.

Most of his life after death he spent it alone, relying on fights and hookups for human contact. And for a while it was fine.

He was young, making himself to be the man he always knew he was. Turns out bribing nurses into giving him T injections was easier than he thought. Now, surgery, that was the issue.

The money he had taken from his father was plenty, but he needed a safe place to go for recovery "I read on the paper there's a small cabin in Devil's Prick for sale" said the nurse while injecting him. 

The place definitely needed some TLC, but it was a home, it was secluded, safe and his. 

It was only after he had made a full recovery that he realized he was running low on funds.

Luckily, the diner needed help.

"Welcome to the team, kid" said the old man, patting him on the back. 

Out of the corner of his eye he noticed a big hulking figure, a man with ash blue hair, which was tied on a low bun.

Oh, he's cute…

He was carrying big sacks of potatoes into the walk-in fridge from a truck outside, one sack on his shoulder, another hanging from his hand.

Oh, he's strong…

He waited for his break to go talk to the man, saw him leaning against the wall near the back door, smoking.

"Can I bum one out ?" the big man seemed taken aback, was he blushing? That's adorable.

"Yeah, here…" he said, holding out a pack of cigs at Red. He gladly took one with a smile, placing the smoke between his lips before signaling the taller man to get closer.

He fell right into the trap.

Once he was close enough, Red grabbed his shoulder and pulled him close enough to have the lit cigarette touch his own, and kept him there until the second smoke started going. His red face looks even cuter up close, he thought.

He let go of the man and leaned back on the wall, taking a long drag before blowing out the smoke that accumulated in his lungs.

"Thanks, I didn't catch your name?" the poor man seemed flustered out of his mind.

"I'm Darrell, you're the new guy, right?" 

"Yeah, 's nice to meet ya, Darrell." he said, holding his hand out, "Call me Red"

jk, i'm not actually asking. ramble below, not edited for clarity. the following is completely unclear and i will not fix it:

i've been thinking about how part of the reason i'm so chill about caryl is bc growing up as a queer woc 99% of my main ships were like, never gonna fucking happen bc they literally couldn't. it was like, "omg, they gazed at each other from across the room, let's analyze the homosexual subtext of this one scene for the next fifty years, that's not necessarily hyperbole." i've watched all my ships fuck other ppl/have other love interests, and i knew that my thing was never gonna be canon, so to see like, one thing being like, "one half of my ship fucked another person several years ago while pining for the other half of my ship," i'm like...#nice, bc that can and likely will be used as a plot point to get them together later on, whereas in other situations i've been in i just kinda had to deal with it. so my impulse when i see ppl losing their shit is to be like

and to be slightly annoyed, tbh, bc the ship is still on track to be canon, and it's like, literally two white heterosexuals, they're prime candidates for juicy angsty pining that actually gets a resolution.

but!

that being said, i recognize that that attitude isn't necessarily fair. for one thing, i'm not the only queer woc (or some variation thereof) in this fandom, and some ppl's impulse might be exasperation instead, bc like, "wtf, even my mayohet ship has dumb fucking drama," and that's valid as hell, and i get it.

and also, i get that, even if you didn't grow up shipping impossible ships (or mulder/scully, bc that's a brand of bullshit all its own), this has been a suuuuper drawn out process where sometimes it feels like they're legit sprinkling crumbs to keep you hooked, just to play you again, and when you are invested in something, like /rly/ invested, especially if it's a form of escapism or hyperfixation or whatever, that can be e x h a u s t i n g. and i get that. i truly do, and while i make a lot of snide comments about the fandom being bonkers, i do get where the bulk of you are coming from (unless you're one of those ppl who hate on actors and esp actresses for just doing their jobs, and attack them on social media, in which case i am very much judging you and you need to get your life together).

i also realize that in the scheme of things i'm still a newbie. i've been here, what, twoish/threeish years, whereas some of you have been here since the beginning, so i'm not as worn out as y'all. but i also think that gives me a bit of objectivity that some of y'all have (understandably) lost.

my positivity is not meant as a sleight against those of you who are feeling negative, but is more of a semi-objective viewpoint (i say semi, bc lbr, i'm invested af in this, so i definitely have bias), and to me the threads of the storyline they're crafting seem sort of obvious.

like, let's look at it, yeah? they have one season left of this show that has been on for over a decade. they need to cater to everyone to give them a satisfying ending, while still hanging on to carylers bc of the spin-off. darylrreah seems like a very calculated move, bc it gives them both something to make abcers happy, while also creating tension and suspense and pining for carylers (i think they might underestimate just how fed up some carylers are tbh, and are banking on us to hang on for one last ride, which, honestly? if they play it right will probably work.)

if they end up doing a dumb love triangle thing, which, without seeing the episode and gauging the subtext i can't confidently say if i think they will or won't, it will ultimately end in our favor. it has to, bc leah isn't going to third wheel them on the bike in the spin-off. we can say with good authority that whatever that relationship ends up being (again, idk if they'll drag it out or not) it will be temporary. which leaves caryl open to ride off into the sunset and then bone down in every state in the united states and in puerto rico for good measure.

it's a lot of cheap drama, but i really and truly do not think it's anything to worry about, and i still really and truly trust kang to not make it out of character. ik ppl still don't agree with me on that point, and i'm not gonna argue, but to me it really does make perfect sense.

and i also predict that they are gonna play it up hardcore in the promotional shit and talking dead, but when that happens, remember it's bc it gets attention. regardless of where the story is ultimately going, relationship drama gets attention, which gets viewers, which gets amc and twd producers nice and comfy with full pockets

idk. to sum up ig i just wanted to clarify that i don't mean any harm with my relentless positivity. my history in fandom has just made this seem like nothing in comparison, bc while ppl are freaking out, i'm like, "oh damn, they're actually gonna get together by the end of this, aren't they? i didn't know that could happen!" and that makes me excited instead of upset

and you definitely don't have to listen to me. maybe i'm actually wrong. maybe i'm completely full of bullshit and am just good at making things sound confident. i got a lot of As on papers in college over books i never read, i know how to bs. but i also know how to analyze, and i while i will be the first to tell you i am not the best at a great many things, i do know that i am good at critically analyzing text while taking into account the context it was written in, and imho all signs point to canon caryl. when, i'm not entirely sure, but i see it happening. if it doesn't then they severely fucked up their storytelling, and that'd just be bad writing on their part.

(if you want proof that i'm good at reading writers'/producers' intentions, consider that i watched like, 8 seasons of supernatural before giving up, and said to myself, "i think they're gonna make destiel canon, but not until the very last second bc they are rly into catering to their fans but also have to consider their dumb fanboy audience so they can't do anything crazy overtly gay," and guess who hit the nail on the fucking head on that one)

You were sitting in the lounge and constantly tapping on your phone. Your mobile isn't working in real too and in my dream you were annoyed that it wasn't working. Nina told you take her phone instead until we get a new one but you said you want your phone to be repaired or if you only want your own. Then you showed me your pictures. You were in a big car or something and you were wearing a white shalwaar kameez with the brightest smile on your face. I asked you to let me send those to myself from your phone so I can save them. Nana jee, you looked so happy and at peace and I'll pray you're actually very happy and in a much better place. I hope you're healthy and content and that Allah mian is so proud of you. Thankyou for everything, not a single day goes by where I don't miss you. I love you the most my hero.

I woke up with a smile on my face just because I got to see you. I prayed to God in tahajjud last night, to let me see you in a while but I wasn't expecting it to be this soon. I'm so happy that He heard me. I'm so grateful to Him. I woke up around 2 30, prayed zuhr and then had breakfast. Then I took a shower and prayed asr. Then chotti mami came to visit nina and to see T mami after her surgery. She called amma to her home after going back and amma went. You remember I told you about the plot that chotte nana gifted her. Well it turned out it was far more complicated. He told amma that you're my daughter but if I give it to you like that "to phir aur log bhi tumhein misaal bana kar ayein gai". Amma was very upset and she told them she'll think about the down payment. And now everyone advised her to just not take it. So we aren't buying it anymore. Anyways then it was maghrib and I prayed. After that amma called him to ask him to come back early so we can go back to lahore. He didn't want to go and kept making excuses. In the end he told amma that he wouldn't drop me to uni and went off to get the car. It just made me cry how I feel like a burden. How I'm someone no one is willing to be responsible for. I told nina "sab bass Mere se jaan churwana chahte hain". She said no and that they're all with me but again, only I'm suffering here. Everybody is happy in their life at their home, I'm not. I won't worry you alot today I'm sorry. Sigh. Anyways we came back and ahmad and nameera came along with us. I prayed isha in fsd and prayed tahajjud while travelling. Just wanted to send u some love in this rough political time - im also totally tapped out as a va resident and its hard not to just feel hopeless abt these things!! Totally respect ur decision to take a step back, but also wanted to share the thing that always gets me through these times which is MLK Jr's stride toward freedom. He talks abt the bus boycotts and i always have to remember that it took 7 years - 7 YEARS for them to successfully organize just the montgomery community for sustainable mobilization. We'll get there, but there sure aren't any shortcuts and people are actively dumber than they were before.....i hope one day we can all finally let out that breath

Part of the problem is the internet, which is unfortunate because the internet is a huge trove of real information. But when ANYONE can post ANYTHING and there are some people who don't realize that there's no vetting on the internet, it's really easy to pass along incorrect information.

My favorite meme about this is the "What if Google Was a Guy" videos, where someone asks for evidence that vaccines don't work, and Google returns millions of results that say they DO work, and one result saying they don't. And the one result is taken as fact because it exists.

There's been a huge campaign by Republicans to prevent people from thinking for themselves, including attacks on critical thinking and critical race theory. People are expected to believe/do what they're told.

The best thing we could do now is abolish all political parties and heavily fine any politician who refers to the words "democrat" "republican" "conservative" or "liberal" because at this point, it's the only way to prevent people from voting down party lines. They'd actually have to pay attention.

Of course that won't work because the internet would just come up with dog whistles. But yeah, this has gotten longer than I wanted it to, and I really do intend to step away from this. I can't take it anymore, and I have a bad feeling that the smartest and most logical people in this fight are also too overwhelmed to do anything anymore.
