Jumping Back Slash - Red Machines (Video Review)

When you think about the title “Red Machines”, red machines come to mind. Jumping Back Slash has something different in mind for the first video from his new “Sad Damage” LP. The video features a red lappie singing lyrics reminiscent of a local lascivious group of cats engaging in what can only be described as worrisome, yet alluring and also fucked.

The lappie is at first portrayed as a monotonous, uninteresting sheet of red, undeserving of this prestigious tumblr blog boasting zero followers. A few seconds later, however, the lappie’s character contracts an airborne disease affecting the lappie’s equivalent to the larynx. This leaves it wallowing in self-pity and despair ending in a slow, painful death. Due to the extremely low fertility rate of lappies, this lappie dies childless.

This painful story isn’t for everyone, but there is definitely a lesson in it all. When you wash up, you have to dry the dishes. Sure, the lappie’s dry at first so it can be used to dry the dishes. How long before that lappie becomes wet, and ends up leaving the dishes in a worse state than it was in the sink? Even if you are doing what you are meant to be doing, take a break.
