Jaehee is honestly my favorite mystic messenger character, and her story arc is both inspiring and heartwarming. She is a hardworking and independent individual who has had to take care of herself ever since her parents passed away. Despite moving in with her aunt and uncle, Jaehee felt like a burden and worked tirelessly to avoid inconveniencing them.

She found herself in a male dominated workplace, where she had to change her appearance to fit in and prove her worth. This lead to her overworking herself and becoming mentally and physically exhausted. On top of that, her boss, Jumin, constantly piled more responsibilities on her, leaving her overwhelmed.

But then, the MC entered Jaehee's life and brought a positive change. The MC supported Jaehee's decisions and provided the companionship she desperately needed. Despite having a lot on her plate, Jaehee went out of her way to help others, such as taking care of Zen when he was struggling. In return, Zen visited her at work and let her know that he was there for her.

Jaehee had always been used to being alone and never complained or relied on others, as she believed it would make her weak. However, Zen's reassurance and encouragement helped her realize that she deserved to work for her own happiness. After that Jaehee made made a decision to quit her job and open a coffee shop with the MC.

Jaehee’s route always makes me emotional whenever I play it and I feel like it was perfect for her. It accurately depicts Jaehee’s struggle to express herself. People often complain about it because she “friendzoned” the main character, but the thing is that she wasn’t used to receiving any affection in that way and again she was the only women in the RFA and at her work place until the MC came along.

Unfortunately, I couldn't get Rika to work either. "Rika", "Serena", "SerenaKim", "Mina", "Saviour" and "Mika" all did nothing.

Using the other characters full names "HyunRyu", "YoosungKim", "JihyunKim", "SaeyoungChoi" also does nothing.

And mentioning the cult "MintEye", "Magenta" also leads to no new achievements.

I'm curious whether there are any I've missed.

OK SO apparently if you change your name in The Ssum to a certain something, you get an achievement in the Trivial Features.

opening: You’re visiting Jaehee at the office and start to get dizzy. Because of your busy schedule you hadn’t drank or eaten anything the whole day.

You arrived at the office building as scheduled with Jaehee. You had already skipped lunch because of the amount of work your boss had given you, but your plan was to grab a salad on your way out of the office. 

The building was well taken care of and everything looked sharp and clean. You were greeted by the receptionist as you entered the elevator. The walls were black with only the control board on the wall that had the numbers of the floor of the building. The back wall had a whole wall clean mirror. It reflected you. 

You stared at yourself from the mirror, as the elevator lifted you up the floors one by one. You straightened the white loose womens collar shirt that was under your black suit coat. The shirt was tucked in your black suit trousers, which were held up by a belt. A pair of saddle shoes finished off the black and white look perfectly.

You wobbled a little out of surprise as the lift stopped and the doors opened. You turned around and while clearing your throat you stepped out. The same decor and colours continued on this floor as well. 

You weren’t exactly sure where on this floor Jaehee worked in but your eyes were scanning all the possible rooms where she could be in. Half of the doors had a silver name tag on them, but you didn’t dare to go and read all of them, in case someone saw you creeping around. Thankfully before you got too desperate, one of the office doors opened and you saw Jaehee. A smile spread across her face when her eyes met you. 

“Oh, you’re here already. Please, do come in.” She told you, and disappeared back in her office. You followed soon after her, and closed the wooden door after you. 

There was a big window in front of you. Next to the window was a dark wooden table with a laptop on it and a stack of paper next to the laptop. There was a smaller pile of paper on the other side of the laptop. At the end of the table was a phone. Jaehee was sitting on a black leather chair, behind the table.

Behind Jaehee there was a shelf with some books and folders on it. You walked on the other side of the table, and sat down on a similar leather chair Jaeee was sitting on. On the counter next to you was a fake plant, to give a more friendly and clean atmosphere. There were also a few lamps in the room, as Jaehee used to work a little too much sometimes, and she’d finish paperwork when it was dark already.

Jaehee closed the laptop to get a better look at you. The RFA was hosting a new party soon, so you had been replying to the emails and working your other job at the same time. You probably looked tired in Jaehee’s eyes since she frowned a little as she took a closer look at you. “It’s so great to see you again. How have you been feeling?” She asked, deciding not to comment on how tired you seemed. “I’ve been okay. The emails have been stressing me out a little but i’m working through them.” You smiled at her. “Did you have lunch yet?” You added fastly after. Maybe you could have lunch with her if she hadn't had anything yet. “I haven’t had the time. Have you?” Jaehee tilted her head a little. “We could get some together now? I haven’t had anything either.” You suggested, hoping that she’d say yes since you wanted to talk to her more. You rarely saw the members of the RFA outside the parties, so this was special to you. “I might have enough time for that. Let’s go.” Jaehee stood up and went to put on her coat that was on the back of the chair. 

You stood up as well, but as soon as you did that you started to feel dizzy and lightheaded. It felt like the room was spinning slightly. You tried to grab the edge of the table, since you felt like you were about to fall, but since you couldn’t see where the table was you just wobbled forward. Jaehee turned to you when she heard you stumble. Her eyes widened as she saw how pale you looked. “Y/n are you feeling okay?” She tried to remain calm and come closer to you. “I’m..gahh..not…” You mumbled as you began to stumble more. Soon enough you fell over on the floor, hitting your head on the wall as you went down. 

Jaehee hurried to your side, laying you down. She felt your pulse on your neck and set your legs up on the chair. “Y/n can you hear me?” She began to ask, trying to see if you’d wake up. After a little, you began to stir and open your eyes. “Ah thank god...I’ll get you some water.” Jaehee sighed out of relief and went to get you a cup of water.

You felt a throbbing headache start to settle in as you sat up on the chair. “gahh..can you hand over the painkillers in my bag…” You requested as you held your head with your eyes closed. “Ahh poor you..There, take the pill with the water.” Jaehee hummed with sympathy. You took the pill and the water, drinking all of it. The cold water made you feel a little better, but the painkiller would take a moment before it would even do anything. 

“You look tired. Have you slept at all?” Jaehee decided to finally ask. Her voice was filled with concern. “A little. I  had a lot of work to do and I had forgotten to reply to the email. I had to stay up late.” You admitted. Jaehee furrowed her brows. “And you haven’t even eaten anything…” She sighed and took out her phone. “I’ll get you a car home, and you go and eat something. Then you’ll get some sleep.” She told you before she put the phone against her ear. You only nodded at her and tried to stand up. 

“Alright. Thank you. Bye.” Jaehee ended the call and stood up. “I’ll take you down to where the car will be waiting for you. Promise me you’ll do as I said?” She looked at you with a serious look. “I will. Don’t worry, please?” You smiled at her and began to walk towards the elevator. 

Jaehee followed you, making sure you were feeling alright the whole time. When you two reached the front door you turned to look at Jaehee. “Thank you, really.” You smiled at her. “Oh it’s no problem at all.” You heard the car pull up in front of the building. Before you exited you decided to hug Jaehee as a goodbye. She tensed up first but hugged you back. “Have a safe trip back.” She hummed when she let you go. “I’ll see you at the party. Bye!” You smiled and walked up to the car.

Jaehee couldn’t say that she had ever had a moment in her life where someone stood up for her without a hint of hesitation. 

She had lost her parents when she was young and when she moved in with her aunt and uncle, it wasn’t exactly a warm environment where she knew that she could always confide in the people around her. She knew her place and she had to know when to speak and when to keep her mouth shut. It had been lonely for such a long time. 

But, she never let that get to her in a way that would show. 

She swallowed her ill feelings and ignored them, continuing to follow her path in the world to do what she was expected. It was pure chance that she was able to work with Jumin Han, and while that job hadn’t always been ideal, it paid well and she knew how to diligently get things done. She thought that it was okay to never be satisfied with what she was doing. 

At least, until she realized that there was something that interested her enough to make her actually want to work. And it was around that time that she had you, someone to confide in, someone to talk to late at night, someone to count on in moments of uncertainty. 

Jaehee never knew that she could feel so alive and so happy. That was she felt like she could take the risk on herself and on her future. She did it, and she was always going to be happy that she did. Because now she had you on her team, and whenever she needed someone to lean on? 

You were right there, standing on the other side of the counter in the café, that bright look in your eyes as you smiled broadly, only to be pulled from her thought when you spoke, “Hey Jaehee, can you go and check the back? I think we’re all out of this up here.” 

Would you be alright knowing how her heart sputtered when you did that? She had never felt so much love in her heart before, but she would be fine if she kept falling deeper and deeper into that feeling. No matter where it lead her, she was happy to follow.

•you had to drag him off his computer at the start of the summer

•but now he’s LOVES going outside and doing stuff with you

•he comes up with fun little road trips for you 2!!

•definitely loves the amusement park and will drag you on rides all day

•he also really likes the beach but the sun tires him out easily

•but him being tired doesn’t stop the fun!! This boy loves doing anything, anywhere with you

•sometimes you both need some time to recooperate energy, so you watch those coming of age summer movies on the off days

•In fact yoosung loves those movies!! He’s a sucker for clique but happy endings :))

•when you took him on a rollarcoaster, he wasn’t too big of a fan, but enjoyed seeing you smile

•so you guys went on a few smaller ones together

•Jumin would find really cute restaurants with an outside patio to go to w/ you!!

•Jumin would take you on dates on his boat since Elizabeth the 3rd could come and you’d end up spending the day there

•you 2 would dance together in front of the moonlight before heading home

•Jumin loves being in your presence so the summer was spent together, doing a variety of things

•by the end of the day you both were exsuated, arms full of stuffed animals, won from the carnival games which he was literally a pro at

•it was 7am one morning and you woke up to water get splashed on your face, it was a waterballoon.

•you, Vanderwood and Saeran all looked pissed off coming out of your rooms, to see what the hell happened

•it took no less than 10 seconds to realize this was one of Saeyoungs pranks

•and as soon as you realized that, Saeyoung popped up from behind the couch and hit Saeran square in the face with a waterballoon

•if Saeran wasn’t already pissed, now he was, and 30 minutes, 130 waterballoons, and 4 soaked adults later, the waterballoon fight was over

•this was just one of the many pranks Saeyoung pulled this summer, but you eventually started to get in on them with Saeyoung!!

•you both had such an exciting summer together, and Saeyoung was bummed it was over :((

•but that doesn’t mean the fun is over!! Saeyoung had already started to plan next summer to be even crazier with you!!!

•he took his camera everywhere so he could capture the fun moments he had with you!!

•he wasn’t a big fan of commercial attractions, but rather more relaxing trips

•you 2 went camping together, by the lake for 2 weeks!!

•you loved to help V by modeling for his photos! So you both would do adorable photoshoots together!!

•this man would work so hard on coming up with the cutest dates for you guys!!

•you 2 would go on a small vacation together to a private beach 3 hours away!!

•On the days you stayed at home, you 2 would cuddle together while watching movies

•your summer was spent together surrounded by relaxing scenery

•it was the first time since he left Rika, he realized that they were never meant to be together and you were always the one for him

•it took a few days to convince him to leave the house and do stuff

•Saeyoung convinced him to go to an amusement park and he refused at first but seeing as you seemed excited to go, he caved and went

•he never liked crowds but nothing mattered as long as you were with him! He didn’t want to admit it, but he was having the time of his life there

•he wasn’t the biggest fan of rollarcoasters but enjoyed the smaller ones, and he was surprisingly good at carnival games, much like his brother

•he would watched a kid fall in line and laughed ‘shhh Saeran they are looking please’

•he was determined to try 50 flavours of icecream this summer, and it’s safe to say you guys doubled that goal

•no matter where you went, you would always find an icecream shop and you 2 would try all the new flavours

•your local icecream parlor knew you 2 by name, at the end of the summer

•you guys would go for cute walks in your community garden together and when it got late, you 2 would stargaze together!!

•Saeran loves watching the stars, and being with you made everything better!

•you 2 went on a lot of cute dates!!

•he surprisingly enjoyed the beach a lot but preferred to find a more private one where there was less people

•by the end of the summer he came a lot out of his comfort zone and even though he didn’t admit it, you knew he couldn’t wait to do some of the same things next summer!!

Prompt- “What can I say? I’m a rebel.”

The RFA sat around Jumin’s penthouse, celebrating another successful party, drinking expensive wine from the CEO’s collection. MC laid in between 707 and Yoosung, laying their head on 707 lap and their feet on Yoosung. 

“Do you remember the time 707 walked up to an old man, thinking it was Zen and slapped his behind?” Jaehee asked, taking a sip of her glass. Everyone but MC laughed at the memory.

“You did what?” MC asked bewildered, looking up at the hacker. 707 blushed. 

“It was outside the party. I had just arrived and was adjusting to my new glasses. In my defense the man had hair just like Zen!” MC busted out laughing. Zen scoffed.

“Are you saying I look like an old man?”

“From behind yes!” Seven exclaimed. MC laugh turned silent as they laughed harder. Tears rolled down their face. Yoosung and Seven had to grab onto them so they didn’t roll off the couch.

Jumin watched his friends with an amused smirk and Jaehee shook her head smiling when a small meow came from the bedroom. Elizabeth the 3rd wanted out. Seven gasped, shoving MC off his lap as he stood up.

“Luciel you go near that door and I will kick you out,” Jumin threatened. Seven smiled wide at the CEO, walking closer to the door, placing a hand on the doorknob.

“Really?” Jumin asked unamused as Seven cracked the door, staring Jumin dead in the eye as he did.

“What can I say? I’m a rebel.”

Yoosung snorted. “Oh gods, for the last time, running up the down escalator doesn’t make you a rebel.”

“Or does it?” 

“No.”

Seven humphed and swung the bedroom door open. Elizabeth the 3rd ran out. Jumin got up and walked over to pick her up as Zen bolted into the kitchen, as far away from the cat as possible. 

“Seven get out of my house now.”
