LA GIORNATA DELLA MONTAGNA

Perché l’ambiente montano è così importante per il popolo giapponese?

Le montagne giapponesi sono parte integrante della cultura, della spiritualità e della storia del paese, e la loro presenza ha influenzato profondamente la vita e la società giapponese.

Infatti, Circa il 70% del territorio giapponese è montuoso, ricoperto prevalentemente da foreste e vegetazione densa.

Per chi è appassionato del mondo folkloristico giapponese, saprà sicuramente che buona parte delle leggende e dei racconti sul Giappone hanno come protagonisti l’ambiente montano in tutta la sua bellezza e spiritualità.

La montagna sacra per eccellenza del Giappone, il Monte Fuji, appare infinite volte nei racconti e nei dipinti giapponesi e ogni anno migliaia di turisti si recano a visitarla rimanendo incantati dalla sua maestosità.

Il popolo giapponese è talmente legato all’ambiente montano che dal 2016 è stata istituita la festa nazionale della montagna, con pari valore di importanza rispetto a tutte le altre importanti feste nazionali.

In effetti, le montagne hanno sempre avuto un profondo significato spirituale per i giapponesi e sono considerate luoghi sacri e di culto. Questo legame speciale con la natura è dovuto alla pratica del Shintō (神道), una religione indigena del Giappone, ancora oggi molto diffusa che attribuisce grande importanza agli spiriti della natura e agli dei che risiedono in luoghi naturali.

USANZE

Come dicevamo, questa festa è stata istituita da poco, per cui è un po’ difficile poter parlare delle usanze che il popolo giapponese pratica durante questa giornata. Senza ombra di dubbio, possiamo dire che molte persone organizzano con i propri amici o la propria famiglia, gite e pellegrinaggi verso le montagne più famose del Giappone e si recano a visitarne i templi e i santuari situati lungo le sue pendici.

such a nice day. decided to go eat ramen near my university! Its my 3728632th time coming here but was my first time ordering this matcha almond tofu IT WAS SO GOOD

after being extremely full I decided to go for a walk and see these birds near my unit lake. its hilarious to me cuz you can see real birds and imposter birds, and also creepy big fish

got LUSH on my way back home my favorite if you want to self care just go to lush and spoil your self that's literally it you can buy happiness with money

Heute (oder besser gestern, da es schon nach Mitternacht ist) waren wir in Akihabara und Ikebukro. Beides Viertel, die für allerlei Merch rund um Anime, Manga, Videospielen und auch Arcadegames und Spielautomaten bekannt sind. Den wilden, bunten Tag haben wir aber mit einem atemberaubenden ruhigen Ausblick auf das nächtliche Tokyo vom Oberservation-Deck in Ikebukuro ausklingen lassen ✨

I finally made it to Tokyo oof, that was all long flight but not a bad flight. What made it really great is that I slept through more than the 12 hours flight, and stretched more because the seat next to us was empty! I'm probably not going g to post as much or the next 2 weeks, so I'm going to leave a bunch of this in queue. Anyways as a small treat for making kt safely to my hotel after 2 flight, 2 train stations, and one taxi ride is melon pan!!! Never tried this before and always wanted to.

DAY 7

Giant Moving Gundam Robot show will be starting soon!

It's too bad I couldn't bring Karamatsu and Ichimatsu to TeamLab Planets, there was a wet part and I didn't wanna risk dropping them.

But their colors, blue and purple, was everywhere in all the arts, so I was still with them in a way.
