ETHAN: Well I know I'm the VIP everywhere I go, but I go take a leak and the entire thing gets packed up? Seems a little excessive…

JAYMES: [He snickers, shaking his head.] You wish, Landgraab — We're starting to get rained out so we're moving the party back to the house. You coming?

ETHAN: Maybe… [His eyes narrow slightly, but his tone remains completely relaxed.] That depends entirely on what you said to Damien to get him to fly off the handle. Don't bother attempting to edit the story to downplay it and make him seem like some psycho and you didn't even say anything that was that big of a deal,— I am very aware of what the hair-trigger rage subjects are.

JAYMES: This. [He smirks] What's happening right now is exactly what I pointed out that made him lose his fucking shit; that it's weird how you two are some conjoined package deal.

ETHAN: [He furrows his brow skeptically, seeming a bit confused by that answer.]

JAYMES: What I said was that his 'hang out at the edge of the party like some emo loner' vibe wasn't impressing me and that it is hella weird that you two are attached at the hip. See? I don't have to edit any story to make him look like a psycho, he just is one… [he snickers] Or some little closet-case that's secretly in love with you… I mean he didn't dance with any of the girls and we had some certified baddies here; he's not showing off, trying to impress them or being … normal. He's glued to you all fucking night.

ETHAN: We've been best friends since —

JAYMES: Save it. That's not best friend, we've been really close bros since forever, behavior. [He rolls his eyes before looking up at the sky, the thunder rumbling overhead steadily but slowly growing louder and closer.] When's the last time Charm had a girlfriend? [He smirks.] You two were hot shit at Persepolis, right? Top of the social food chain? Plenty of chicks must have been lined up unless he's a f— [His voice suddenly becomes strangled, his chest tightening and throat closing; almost as if he's going into anaphylactic shock and can't breathe.]

ETHAN: [He smirks.] See Charm is the one that gets pissed off and starts yelling. Goes for the throat verbally first before he'll swing on you or sling a spell… I don't.

JAYMES: [Gasping for breath, clawing at his neck. No one else seems to even notice.]

ETHAN: Here's what's happening. If you cut Damien, I walk and take with me all that Landgraab clout and money you're looking to farm. If he quits voluntarily, I walk. [He steps in closer and kneels down, lowering his voice to a murmur so that only Jaymes can hear him.] If anything you said to him makes him want to unglue and our friendship suffers, not only will I walk, I will use every ounce of social capital I have to ruin your fucking life which would be a shame since you haven't had a real life for very long. Remember? Stay in your lane, keep your fates-be-damned mouth shut about Damien, and everything will be fine — can we agree to that, Jimmy? [He mentally squeezes down tighter.] Or do you need a few more minutes without air to think it over?

Angela Joy Williams Chowning, 48, of Greenbrier, Tennessee passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022, at Skyline Medical Center. Angela was born January 20, 1974, in Huntington, IN to the late Delbert Eugene and Dorris Smith Williams. She was an Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager with Volunteer State Bank in Springfield, was a member of Light’s Chapel Baptist Church, served as a Vice President with American Legion Post 45 Auxiliary, and served as Secretary for the American Legion Post 45 Riders. Angela loved riding motorcycles, dancing, spending time with her friends, and helping support many fundraisers, especially those fundraisers that centered around Veterans and those that centered around Breast Cancer. Angela is survived by her fiancé: Wallace “Wally” Moulton of Greenbrier, by the ones she considered her children: Brennan Davenport of Adairville, KY, Dylan Moulton of Russellville, KY, Tyler Chowning of Orlinda, and Raegan Moulton of Auburn, KY, by her brothers: Ron (Vicki) Williams of Waxhaw, NC, Robbin Williams of Nashville, and Roger (Ellen) Williams of Chelsea, AL, by her nieces: Jayme Potter, Bella Williams, and Sophia Williams, and by grandchildren: Cole and Marcie Chowning. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, March 12th at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakhurst Chapel of the Robertson County Funeral Home with Minister Jeff Kennedy officiating. Interment will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens with Ron Williams, Robbin Williams, Roger Williams, Jay Murphy, Allen Miller, Jeff Freeman, Matt Carroll, and Jeremy Beerman serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jerry Scarbrough, Barry Jones, Chad Crain, and Kelly Gay. Began dating Natalie, on and off, in 2015, got engaged to her in 2017, and married her in 2018.

Opened his first garage in 2017, in South Beach, and began turning a profit in 2018.

Travis Huntington

Born December 3rd 1987 in Palm Beach, Florida.

Graduated from Palm Beach High School in 2006.

Graduated from Stanford in 2010, with a degree in political science. Graduated Stanford law in 2013.

Began working as a speech writer after graduation for Mayor Adrian Jamison of Palm Beach.

Became a congressman in 2016, running with the Republican party in the wake of Trump's election.

Charlie Marino

Born January 25th 1963 in Newark, New Jersey.

Got involved with organized crime in his early 20s, around 1984, but didn't get "made" until 1991, when he got his boss's 19-year-old daughter pregnant and married her in a shotgun wedding a month after they found out-- To save her reputation.

Probably went to Miami as part of Donnie's crew.

Opened up an ""authentic"" Cuban restaurant shortly after, which is pretty much just a place for the crew to kick back and play poker, with free snacks on hand and shit

Evander Beckford

Born March 20th 1993 in Kingston, Jamaica

Moved to Miami in 2005, thereabouts.

Dropped out of high school in 2009 because he got caught up in that lifestyle.

Did five years for armed robbery. Went away in 2012, got out in 2017.

Had two kids from two different baby mamas before he went to jail (born in 2010 and 2012), who he sees a lot and goes above and beyond to provide for, and then a third girl he was fooling around with came at him saying he knocked her up during a conjugal visit in 2014, but he says he isn't paying for shit until they do a paternity test.

Allegedly works at a barbecue place owned by somebody in the gang, to shut his P.O. up, but pretty much comes and goes as he pleases

ETHAN: [Ethan wrinkles his nose into an expression of mock-annoyance.] I thought that "Always a full schedule Golden Boy" thing was something your mom made you do, are you telling me that's actually who you are? As a person? Disgusting… I'm replacing you with Kyleson.

KYLE: [Zoning back in for a moment, blinking as if trying to clear his head.] What? What about me? Heard my name, what's up?

DAMIEN: Nothing, Kyle, Landgraab's just talking sh— Ow. [Damien hisses through his teeth and playfully pulls on Ethan's ear after Ethan bites his arm.] Bitch.

JAYMES: You five — the guys that don't look like total losers— You maybe interested in rushing this semester?

DAMIEN: Uhhh… I haven't really thought about i—

ETHAN: [Interrupting Damien] Depends. What's the social standing here? Party and event rep? I'm not joining some rando Shit-Tier charity focused academic fraternity looking for a check and clout, so start sweet talking me.

JAYMES: A freshman with a business card, huh? To answer your question — [Jaymes briefly glances down at the card, his eyes widening for a second before schooling his expression into something more neutral.] I don't know about your friends, but you belong here for sure: we're prime social real estate. Literal real estate too by the way, only the best of Greek Row gets to have their house on the actual island near the campus and that's us; not that you'll get to move into it until next year at the earliest, but… Interested?

ETHAN: Not entirely sold, but considering — I'll have to run it by Charm here since he's the one with all the insider connections to the school… Sages are friends of his family, generational academic legacy baby — you know how it is, he can't just sign up for anything. [He shoots Damien a meaningful, pointed look for a brief moment.] We'll be right back. [Nods at Damien to follow.]
